Illegal Food Pop-Ups at Second Self Beer | Eater Atlanta

"A casual trattoria by day and dance club by night on Edgewood Avenue, Noni’s Del celebrated its tenth anniversary with a big blowout that included a dunk tank and a DJ, and the party went well into the wee hours." - Beth McKibben

Great place, food was amazing and great service. Coffee was super strong, if like it strong. I took some pictures to share and give you an Idea. Hopefully this will be of help someone trying to find a place to eat. I and my family give it 4.9, we like it!!!

Hidden Gem in Melissa! Its a combination of Brunch and Venezuelan cuisine! We met up with family here and everyone got something they liked! We had the Peach crepes, the Monte Cristo, the Cachapa with Pork, and Taqueños! We showed up at 7pm and brunch at 7pm is great!! Shoutout to Chaunasey (hope I spelled that right) who made us feel at home! Highly recommend this place!

The food took almost 35 minutes, I ordered veggie omelette which came with a lot of grease in it. The eggs were made separately and the tomatoes, spinach, peppers and onions were put on top. I guess a different style of omelette. The French Toast barely had any eggs on it as you can see on the pictures. At first I thought it was just a regular toast. To summarize, I did not enjoy that breakfast.

Loved it! They food was so good. My husband had the Breakfast Special and everything was cooked the way he requested. I tried the Pastelitos which were very good. I preferred the beef and rice but the chicken was also good. The sauce added just the right flavor. We were told they have dinner with more Venezuelan food on the menu. It is fun to try something new and the prices are great.

I was very satisfied with our visit at this restaurant because the atmosphere was welcoming and our server, Kristin was very kind, helpful, and efficient in taking our order. The portioning of the food was fair and well portioned. I would recommend this place for a good brunch spot. What I believe was the owner made sure we were satisfied throughout our visit. Highly recommended !

Great new clean restaurant, food preparation on the plate is absolutely beautiful, tasty well thought through menu, ordered eggs over medium came out completely runny. Asked for a side of toast $3.50. Came with refrigerated butter. How do you expect your customers to spread hard butter on toast. Same with the pancakes. You don’t use butter in your kitchen. You can’t spread butter on $3.50 toast? The food is great here but as a customer I shouldn’t have to prepare my food. And if you can’t cook eggs to order then you need to notify your customers the it’s over easy or scrambled.

Great Find! I have been here twice. The service is great. The atmosphere is cozy. The food is the star. Great menu options. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu. First visit: Chachapas: 7/10 the corn cake was moist and fluffy. Actual corn kernels in the mix. Cheesy gooey goodness. I could not eat it all but glad I tried an authentic dish. The pork was sort of dry, not as enjoyable. Pastelitos: chicken (8/10) spring (9/10) both flavorful and appropriately stuffed. Flakey crust steals the show. Chicken and waffles: 9/10 both were delish. Fluffy waffle. Crispy and tasty chicken. Second visit: Chilaquiles: 10/10 packed with flavor. Great ingredients. Party of delicious flavors in your mouth. Every ingredient present and so well developed. Love the freshness of the Avocado in the bite. Special Breakfast: 10/10 simple but good. Everything is fresh. Bacon was the star... good quality, crispy and flavorful.

We discovered this new brunch spot in Melissa while celebrating Mother’s Day, and it turned out to be a great experience. We arrived during peak hours, but everything ran smoothly—no long wait, and the staff was friendly and attentive from the start. We tried a little bit of everything: refreshing sangria, fluffy pancakes, a unique masa panini filled with flavorful Mexican-style chorizo and chicken, and a cheesy quesadilla. Every dish was well-prepared, tasty, and served hot. You can tell the ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were on point. The restaurant itself is cozy, very clean, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. It’s definitely a place we’ll be returning to for breakfast or brunch. A hidden gem in the heart of Melissa!
