Noni's Grille of Troy

My daughter and I went there yesterday and it was amazing. Had the tomato soup and Grilled chicken Greek salad. Wow. Was the best soup, salad and grilled chicken we’ve both had in quit awhile. Going back this morning for breakfast. ❤️

First time here. Place looks to be very clean and well laid out. I usually eat out by myself and sit at a counter or bar area. Food is pricey but that’s the area and expected. But was the food worth the price? Debatable. The staff that helped me could be better. Unfortunately the industry is saturated with staffing issues and staff that don’t want to do their jobs. Management needs to figure out how to fix these issues. Want to make more money, and get more traffic… improve the experience for the customers. We the customers don’t really care much about price if the experience is good.

I love Noni's. My family has been coming here for years. Today I went away disappointed. I had the #1 Breakfast Special, which normally comes with toast. I asked for a side of fruit instead. $4.95 extra for what amounted to two strawberrys and a handful of red grapes. Zero credit for not having the toast, which I believe is a $2.95 side. It's just five bucks, but I've always felt tremendous value for the money every time we've dined there. Today not so much. Service as always, was amazing!

We just had a great breakfast experience. Prices def lower than average in the area without discounting the quality of the food. Never too busy. My teen loves stuffed French toast. I had strawberry cream cheese crêpes and added eggs and bacon. Bacon cooked to perfection. Crêpes super yummy and filling. I took most home for leftovers. The waitresses were super sweet. Loved them! Now I’m wondering how their salads are for a to go lunch salad :P

Was in the area and had a taste for Breakfast so I decided to give them a try. I ordered the Stuffed Strawberry French Toast. It was tasty. Eggs were cooked just right but the hashbrowns were cooked a tad bit harder than I like but nonetheless they tasted like your average diner hashbrowns. Service was fine (not fantastic but not bad either) If ever in the area again I will come back.

We came with a party of 13 ppl. The food was delicious but the waitress was rude. She obviously has no patience for children. She told my 12 yr old niece that she couldn't order from the kids menu(she looks older). Then she told my 9 yr old nephew to put the menu down. She seemed frustrated or stressed as she was the only waitress working. That's no reason to treat people rude. Maybe she should not be working with the public. Also, the cook should time the food delivery better . Most of us were done eating when some were just getting our food. I'll be back because those pancakes looked delicious!

Hello!! I must offer a compliment for such wonderful service, great food, and cute staff. The chef is very friendly and always does an excellent job with the the presentation. Omelets are great and I always get crepes on the weekend. They are so amazing 👏 My favorite part of the experience is when Hannah makes my chocolate shake. Absolutely yummy and delicious. Best I've ever had!! If you're ever in the area, definitely stop by, I promise they'll make you feel right at home 😃

Overpriced compared to other breakfast spots. Gravy was very dry and lack there on. Toast was burnt, burnt sausage, super dry country fried steak. Very disappointed and upset with the amount of money spent on this place.

I've enjoyed both breakfast and lunch here with a large group in the back room. Meals are prepared quickly and portions are ample, fresh, and tasty. My faves so far are the veggie omelette and the Greek salad, which has an unusual creamy Greek dressing. Service is efficient (not easy with a large group). Noni's is a good family restaurant option in this area.

I hate that I have to say this about a family owned restaurant. The food was decent, nothing that I couldn't have done easily myself at home. The service was friendly enough. However, the prices were outrageous. On top of that, they add a charge for using a debit card. My daughter got one Mickey Mouse shaped pancake, my son got one waffle with chocolate chips, and my wife and I each got a sausage and cheese omelette.... $70!! I won't be back.

I had the small dinner salad with Greek dressing and a corned beef on onion roll. The "small" was twice as big as I expected with amazing dressing. The corned beef was tender and not salty but super flavorful. My waitress, Hannah, was relaxed and attentive without being intrusive. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

The service was excellent! Valerie did a great job with refills and making sure I was enjoying my meal. I also enjoy the tall booths and the food was delicious.

This is my family's first time coming to Noni's Grille. We were in Troy and looking for a nice family dinner. We truly found it at Noni's! What a beautifully updated interior. All comfy tall booth's and wood backed chairs. We were welcomed in various ways by our incredible server Valerie. She lit up when we told her this was our first visit. (Clearly won't be the last). She was genuinely excited to let us know all the soups and food are homemade. She joyfully explained the menu to us. She let us know the portions are generous and she was telling the truth! (We all went home with enough food for lunch tomorrow). She helped us choose an entree we enjoyed. She was also very patient and kind, a delightful woman. Each special on the dinner menu comes with homemade soup and rice pudding. Talk about a family establishment! We absolutely loved our dining experience and will be back, with other family members. Highly recommend.

Ridiculous pricing. Food is fine. Never got a refill of water. Waitress never checked on us.

Service was adequate. Meat (ham) and cheese omelette with mushrooms was decent. Wish the mushrooms had been fresh instead of canned. Hashbrowns were mushy and toast was slightly burnt. Overall, just okay.

Service was outstanding. The food was perfectly prepared. Beautiful presentation. The restaurant is well laid out. Prices are fair, with huge portions. I highly recommend this place

In town for Hockey Showcase down the street had to drop by Noni's. Ordered breakfast, everything was great, just as we remembered. Quick service, food was great and our waitress Cheyanne was on top of refills and getting anything we needed. Look forward to stopping by the next time we are in town. Still recommend! Thanks !

I feel awful leaving negative comments for locally owned restaurants, but I just couldn't let this go. The food was just so terrible. The service wasn't great. There were no redeeming qualities here. I would rather go up the street to a Lukichs.

*****update***** at least after my review they updated their pricing on their website. but when responding to my review they once again are clearly lying about only having only 1 price increase since they opened. i have 3 different menus with 3 different prices at my business as i work near the restaurant. the fact that the owner is lying about the little things makes me worry about what else they are lying about. i have included pictures of multiple different priced menu's. although the owner claims they have only increased prices once bait and switch. this place used to be a great value. big portion at a fair price. now prices are 50% more than advertised on their own website. i get it, everyone has to raise prices at some point but to raise prices 3 times only to reduce your portion size and never update the pricing on your website only means one thing. you are purposely deceiving your customers.

Amazing salads and service! Rosie invited us to bring our frozen meat over during the power outage - so we wouldn't loose our food in the freezer. How sweet was that??? These folks know how to run a business! Let's support them!

Our monthly Real Estate Meeting is trying Noni's Grille as a new location for our breakfast meetings. We go regularly to other businesses nearby and watched as this former National Coney closed and transformed into Noni's Grille. But we haven't actually eaten here until our group tried this location. My focus was on the breakfast menu for our meeting and found the usual breakfast choices. Generally the Omelette and egg dish prices were comparable to other places we have been. And the coffee prices and taste are decent; I drink it black if the taste is good! The Breakfast Sandwiches are higher priced ($5.25 on Toast, add $0.50 on Bagel or English Muffin) than National Coney ($3.29 on Bagel) or Kerby's ($3.50 on Bagel). My wife stuck with her usual breakfast of Oatmeal with Raisins (price competitive at $3.25). Portion sizes are generous as noted by other reviewers. I ordered the Breakfast Special two Eggs Over Easy, Wheat Toast, Bacon, and Hash Browns. Everything was cooked as we expected and taste was good. Unlike some others reviews our service was excellent (thanks, Steffi) and our orders came out after 15-20 minutes for our group of eighteen. Coffee was refilled constantly, the water had no funky taste requiring lemon to cover up, and restrooms were very clean, although a lack of toilet seat covers was disappointing! And there were no paper napkin dispensers on the tables so you need to ask if you want additional napkins. The decor is new and has a clean upscale look compared to other Coney restaurants.

2.5 stars. Cut to the chase: Basically a super nice looking Coney restaurant, but still working out the kinks with service and the kitchen. I have been slowly watching them put this place together for several months. It used to be a National Coney Island, but it appears they completely gutted the building and put a ton of money into the redesign. It is still basically a Coney Island restaurant, but the interior has tons of nice flat screens and even a fireplace. The booths were very comfy and the backs go pretty high, so toddlers can't peak over the tops and disturb neighbors. The staff was also super nice. The big kinks came with the actual food. We ordered a kids grilled cheese and medium rare hamburger. I happened to text someone right after I ordered, so I had a pretty good gauge on the time. At well oiled restaurant of this style, I would expect food in 20-25 minutes. This place took closer to an hour, which I felt was just way too long. Also I was annoyed that I did not get an explanation. Also, I was with my toddler son, and at restaurants where they are used to kids, as this place appear to be, there were no cups with tops, nor did they offer to bring our my kids food first, which should have taken 15 minutes to whip up. When the food arrived it was good, nothing extraordinary, but good. That said; the fries were very good, as they were kind with a super crispy outside and well salted. Overall, not the best first impression, but they showed enough potential for me want to come back. I will probably wait a few weeks to let them hit their stride.

Great wait staff. Very good food. Terrific fish and chips. Clean and welcoming. Seating arrangement is well thought out. It is very light and airy and you are not too close to people who may be loud or have children. You don't even notice others while you are eating. Very nice atmosphere/ tables or booths.

My go to spot in Troy for a quick and delicious meal. Portions are huge and service is always prompt and friendly. Today I tried the cobb salad, and it was excellent. Generous portion of chicken and could have easily been split into 2 meals if I wasnt so hungry lol my other favorites are the gyro sandwich and lemon rice soup.

First time at Noni's. Very good with nice portions. I got the hamburger deluxe and got the salad and soup. I wish I knew the soup was cream based because I prefer broth, my fault for not asking. The Caesar salad dressing was very thick but good. Service was excellent. We will back and try the many other choices. This was over a year ago and I just noticed that I didn't finish the review. I have been back since covid and they were great with mask and distancing. I will have to get curbside instead.

Food is always great, portions generous. The salads are my fav!! Grilled Chicken Pita is great too!

Tried to dine here on 5/24 around 5:45 pm. We were promptly seated and after the hostess and waitress decide where best to seat us. We sat and reviewed the menus and a bus boy brought water to the table. We reviewed the large menu, and decided what we each were going to order. We watched waitresses move around. We saw curly fries on the pass that were there when we sat co it he to sit under the warmer. We then realized 20 minutes had passed and a single waitress did not stop by the table. We left, we told the hostess that no one ever stopped by and the head waitress that knew where we were sat also seemed shocked. With service that poor we will not be back.

Great home style food. Generous portions. The rolls are a highlight, sad my order was missing them last time but the food was delicious overall

Solid place to eat! My wife and I started going here a while back after Alex's of Rochester went downhill with; service, quality of food and pricing and have never looked back. We have taken groups of twelve here to eat, have tried an array of foods off their menu and have yet to be disappointed in anything. For what it's worth most of the time I am here, there are at least a few Troy police officers eating in here. For people who are capable of going anywhere else in Troy, they choose to eat here. That speaks volumes to me. Food is always good, priced well and portions are large. If you enjoyed (back when they were good) Alex's of Rochester on Rochester Road across from Meijer, then I implore you to travel a few miles South and give this place a try. All around better experience and refreshing to patronize an establishment that appreciates its customers and works to keep them happy.

Not sure how you can cook over easy eggs on a griddle and make them watery, but they did. Toast was burnt, not slightly, but inedibly burnt. Corned beef looked and tasted like dog food. I might as well have opened a cheap can myself.

I love, love, LOVE Noni's Grill ! They have great food and extremely generous portions. The restaurant seems to pride in delivering top notch service to it's patrons.

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants. The food is delicious, portions are generous, and prices are great... what more could you ask for? The interior is updated and clean too. I highly recommend this place! The grilled chicken pita is my go-to dinner order, but I've also had salads and pastas and nothing disappoints. And the chicken lemon rice soup is the best - no matter what I order I always get some soup to start. Make this your new neighborhood spot you won't regret it!

Tasty food, solid service, clean space and a cheap price tag! I've really only had breakfast foods and dessert there so can't speak to the rest, but this is a great spot. I like the special omelette, and if I'm not getting meat then I'd do the spinach and feta. Only complaint is half the dessert menu is unavailable at any given time

I'm only giving this place a 2 star because the waitress was awesome and sweet! The place is nice too! The food has zero flavor and presentation wise is just overall sloppy. I think the menu has tooooo many selections, which will be the downfall of this restaurant. Just pick the top selling items and make those to perfection then bam you have a successful restaurant. Sorry for the review, but it's just a way to help the business. The coffee also doesn't have the best taste. Hopefully it gets better because it's such a perfect location and beautiful restaurant.

This place is TERRIBLE!!! Been there 2 times with my whole family of five! Both times the service was garbage! We sat down and the bus boy brought us water. Crickets for 20 mins. Then our waitress with the bad attitude (Fabiola) came and took our order. I wanted a grilled chicken wrap with BBQ sauce I was told she could not do that. Fine, I'll take it on the side. 15 mins go by. No refills on our water at this point we are chewing ice. Finally she comes back and fills the glass and over flows it in the middle of the table laughs and says there is too much ice then leaves. I clean up the mess. Finally the food comes. My son's wrap came wrong, they did not bring my other son's milkshake or my soup. I asked about my soup she said oh do you want it? She brings it and it looks like it was scrapped from the bottom of the pot!! So I do not eat it! So we are done eating. she never came back to check on us of re fill our drinks. After sitting there for 15 mins. We flag some one down for our waitress to bring us the bill. She finally shows up and stands over my wife waiting for the cash. This women needs to be fired. No one should ever go there again. This place should be shut down. The people of Troy should have better service then this. Please bring back a Coney to put there

Really negative 5 stars. May have been the worst dining experience of my life. I understand it was Father's Day - BUT- really 15 minutes to get water, because they had no clean glasses. Kind of comical seeing waitresses physically running to - from tables. Over 1 hour for food to arrive. Waffles with strawberry's came out cold, with maybe 3 berries. Breakfast sandwich was awful- burnt bread uncooked cheese just thrown on it. Bagel with cream cheese came out slightly burnt. Could not find waitress to complain. Finally asked for bill and a manager- she became soo snotty. When management came they never apologized- she said they would give us a gift card- for the future- waited 10 minutes- no card - so just left. Horribleness

Wow! Look at the fine attention they paid to my carry out order. Not! I have had a good experience at lunch at this new restaurant in Troy but obviously the cook on this nite shift wasn't really paying attention or caring much to do this to my food.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted and seated by the hostess right away. A different server gave us waters and bread. The overall service was top notch they had server that simply went around refilling drinks and picking up empty plates my ice tea was never empty but they weren't hovering either. They serve breakfast all day and they offer 6 types of soups, I tried the chicken pot pie soup (the cup is big) this is included with some of their entrees. The menu selection is plenty even beef liver and onions. The restaurant has big tv's all over the restaurant which is nice if you want to watch sports or news. The food portion is huge and the best part it tastes great!! It's hard to believe this use to be a National Coney. Everything is remodeled. If your looking for a nice family meal this is the place to go. My pictures will explain the rest. Bon Appetite.

We stopped in to Noni's in a whim because it was a Saturday night and we had hungry kiddos. The service here was was really what stood out. They had our menus in hand and were waiting for us when we walked in. Our server was friendly and prompt. Even the bus boys checked in on us when they walked by and brought drink refills. Our food was ready quickly as well. The menu is large and has a bit of everything; honestly it was hard to decide on something. We went with a Greek salad and house salad, both with chicken and they were huge. The chicken was well cooked and seasoned and there was a lot of it. I actually ran out of lettuce before my chicken was gone. I would definitely eat here again.

Nice family restaurant. Salad prices a bit high. Sandwiches are good except French Dip. Service was prompt. Ok place for quick breakfast or lunch.

We have been frequenting this family diner. The servers are really nice, they do pay attention to you. We haven't had a bad servers yet. This is a new construction so everything is new. I like that the portions thar they serve are really big, good value for money. Best of all, I have always has a good meal from here. We love this restaurant

The food is delicious, and the wait staff is always friendly and pleasant. The prices are quite reasonable. We can get the #1 breakfast special for only a couple of dollars more than the cost of fast food. Also, the loaded baked potato is almost a meal in itself. Pair one with soup or chilli, and you've got quite a repaste.

The food was great and well priced. We both had breakfast specials. The bacon is the nice thick meaty farmer's bacon and plenty of it! We were not big fans of the small coffee cups as the coffee cooled too fast and we had trouble getting a refill. But the PPE practices were excellent and we were glad the waitress stayed a distance as much as possible. She was very kind and gave good service. They have a lovely patio facing west. We felt safe, full, content with prices, and had so much leftover hash browns and bacon we took it home to make a casserole with the next morning.

I don't want to pick it apart so let's just say it was very disappointing for what I paid. $20.00 down the drain. Won't be back.

Anna was a lovely server. We've be very careful about eating outside during COVID, and they have a very nice big patio. The food is great too. I had a chicken Greek salad that was HUGE! Enough for lunch and dinner. We will definitely be back. Their menus is huge too. Almost anything you would want is on their menu.

My husband and I go there frequently ... the food is good and they have a nice selection. The best part of the restaurant is Rosie. We have only had two less than good experiences and they were both when she was not there. There is one server that seriously has no personality, she never smiles, engages and since we had her two or three times in a row, we were starting to put the restaurant on the lower end of our choices. Last time, our food came out at all different times. Coleslaw came out first, several minutes later my husband's pancakes, then my blt, then several minutes later his side of sausage and never got my fries. The food was good just not all together. We told her to just forget the fries since we were done with our meal. That server never came back *she actually sent someone else --- but here comes Rosie, she was so apologetic, professional and truly wanted to fix the situation. She demonstrates true pride in what she does and for the restaurant and wanting happy customers. She was so kind and appreciative. She IS that restaurant every time she is there, it is just a very pleasant experience and though I do not know the one chefs name -- when he is there the food is fantastic -- it's too bad that in this world today you cannot find employees like her - she is more of "our" generation == hard worker, cares, and understands that happy customers are repeat customers ... some of these younger people really could careless and that can kill a business. She is a gem. This world needs a million more of her!!!

The owners of this restaurant truly care about their food and customers we've dined there several times and am always asked how our meal was by someone in addition to the server. They are always friendly and have an expansive menu. Something for everyone in a well decorated environment...

This place is a total rip off for a chicken wrap with french fries and a baby Greek salad No meat and you don't even get a pita with it, was $29 stay away go elsewhere!!!!

My family loves Noni's Grille. The food is delicious and incredibly affordable, you get more than what you pay for. I love the salads and they are huge, also loaded with toppings. This isn't the best food I have had in my life but I give it a 5 star review because it's great food and environment for the price. Noni's has become a regular spot for my family.

This was our first time trying Noni's- since every other restaurant in our area was closed before 8 p.m. on a Saturday night. The facility was fairly large, nicely decorated, clean and there was plenty of staff but not enough customer's. We ordered a patty melt and a turkey pita wrap, it was good and the portions were generous. The service was excellent and we will be going back. We were thankful that they were open and they were thankful we stopped in.

Good food good service! Much newer and cleaner than most Coney Island restaurants. They have a variety of soups every day and their portion is big! Try it and you will not be disappointed.

To start off they didn't come around and didn't give us water. Our waitress had an absolutely horrible attitude. We waited for our food for 1 and 1/2 hour. Our food came burned and they forgot some of our food. They didn't come with coffee and we had to flag down our waitress to get coffee. We tried to have a quick experience. We were there for 2 hours to have BREAKFEST! I will for sure not go back. Everything about this food is a joke!!

Took my kids here for dinner. The place is a fancy coney, great menu, lots of choices. It took an hour and half to get breakfast! The food is ok, next time I'll go to Lukichs for better food and service.

Went here last night with my (very picky) best friend for dinner! The menu was sooo large and I wanted everything but settled on a chicken salad because a customer across the room had a really massive salad that looked really good:) . My salad was huge! The prices are really good for the portions at this place. There was so much chicken on my salad I don't know how I finished it; also, the chicken was seasoned very well-- tasted fair better than other "Coney Island-like" restaurants:) . My friend and I are going back next week to try a breakfast option!

This place is nice but man it is not consistent. We came the first time and the service was great and the food was great. Next time the service was super slow (hour plus to get our food) and the food was lousy. This all boils down to not having good management. The staff are taking a beating and suffering for not being adequately staffed and trained.

Noni's is our neighborhood upscale coney. We have eaten here for breakfast and lunch. Both times, we had a great experience. The staff is very friendly, the place is clean as can be and the food has been delicious!! Favorites are the Greek salad and breakfast skillet! will definitely be back!!
