I absolutely love this place. They truly love what they do . It’s like family here. My pup is loved and cared for and they do an amazing job. Ayana is amazing !!!!My pup loves her and so do I. Amazing !! The prices are great and service is top notch. Dan, the owner, and all his staff are so amazing. Definitely highly recommended.

We’ve had such a great experience at Noni’s the last few years! They take such good care of our pup and go above and beyond. We have a mini Aussie mix and she always comes out perfectly trimmed and so soft. I can tell they take good care of her because she never seems too stressed coming out of the appointment. We add the de-shedding wash because of the double coat and rounded nail trim to the package. Highly recommend!

Our little boy Jack came into Noni's looking like a mop and left looking like a handsome cute little man. Noni's groomer did a great job and it was just time for all this super hot weather. I highly recommend Noni's for your dog grooming needs!

I was apprehensive because my dog gets very scared of new situations. So I was worried about getting her groomed, but she really needed it. I am happy to say she was not scarred for life when I picked her up. They did a great job grooming and cleaning her up. First picture is AFTER, the bottom picture is BEFORE

Outstanding place! My dog is so extra and they take really good care of her. Glen Coco Chanel always looks super cute after her visits. I am sure she acts a fool while she's in there, so I am really grateful for their patience with her. 10/10 recommend!

My white standard poodle, Skyy, has been groomed by Julie since his first clip! She must be a poodle whisperer because last year, after an extended stay with my father and in a bad need of a groom, I took him to his groomer! While he had a nice bath he would not let them groom him! Apparently he has only given Julie that honor! Noni's is always clean, the staff friendly and the dogs well treated! I am always confident they are treating my baby well!

Carmen is truly a Schnauzer expert. I bring my 3 babies to her for the last 3 and a half years. She is kind and knows what she is doing. I have nothing but great experience to share!

I was returning something at the post office next-door, so I decided to walk in to Noni's pet boutique and groomers instead of calling, to make a grooming appointment. It seemed that they were very busy so I told the gentleman working there that whenever he had time I'd like to make an appointment to get my dogs groomed, no rush. He blew me off and told me to look online and make an appointment there, and showed me the QR code to use to get started. My husband usually makes the grooming appointment so I can't make an account because I don't have his phone or email account access that's connected to our account, and he is at work. So, thanks for nothing, Noni's pet boutique! Giving two stars instead of one because we have had our dogs groomed here and the prices are reasonable. I guess I will have my husband try again later.

I took my 9 month old standard poodle pup for her 1st professional groom & she came back looking gorgeous. I definitely recommend Pam for poodle cuts, she did an amazing job & I know it's not the easiest to groom a puppy, but she did an outstanding job!

They employ a dog whisperer (forgot his name) who cuts my dogs nails without having to muzzle her. That is quite a feat knowing my dog!

We just moved to Pleasant Hill and needed a new groomer. I reached out to about a half dozen local groomers, and Noni's was the most professional and seemed to be the only one who understood Aussies don't get haircuts. Our dog was anxious because it was a new environment; Pam settled her down immediately and did a fantastic job on her "tidy up." So happy we found our new furever groomer :)

I've brought my old 75lb rottie/German Shepherd here for a few years, before the new ownership. It was great and they use to do a great job. 1. Recently it's been nightmarish to communicate with these people. They never answer their phone or respond to messages even if you have an appointment and your dog is in their shop. 4hrs go by and you want to call and check your dog and NO ONE ANSWERS. 2. My dog is on the same account as my family's other dog. If I bring just my dog and insist they write on her little intake form to call ME, NOT my family to pick her up it doesn't matter. They'll still call a different number on the account and I'll get a call from my family member that my dog is ready. I've asked to take my dog off that account. They reply their system doesn't work that way.. Okay? Put her on a new account then. They say, sorry we can't do that. I've been through this every time and get the same answers. 3. The grooms use to be great but recently she's been coming back a bit moist, ears not cleaned, smelling like an old dirty dog. You get quoted $80-$90 for the services and get charged an extra $30. I think I'm done with this new nonis.

The cat groomer Claire got in contact with me and gave me a better number to schedule the times.

I have been taking my dogs here for years and they are wonderful!! They do great work and they handle my one dog, who does not like strangers, with such kindness. Could not recommend them more!

If you want to waste your time trying to schedule service with no response, this is the place for that. I call and leave voicemails several days in a row every single time, but never get a call back to schedule service. Even on their app they do not respond. This is an ongoing issue since I've been trying to continue service with Noni's the past year. Maybe once or twice is understandable but every time is inexcusable. Update: If I could put negative star I would. Lack of customer service. Sam is incredibly rude. After calling back assuming because I left a review she told me I should go somewhere else because I told her they have the same excuse why they can't ever answer the phone the past year and asked to speak to someone else because of her condescending attitude.

We have been bringing our mini-Irish Doodle to Noni's since he was a puppy. He is 4 now and every experience we have had here has been wonderful. Ayanna has been grooming Finian for the past two years and she is fantastic. A dog whisperer to be sure! Ayanna does an excellent job grooming Finian! She has also helped work with us to navigate his doodle separation anxiety when we drop him off and we are very grateful for her expertise and kindness! Thank you Ayanna and Noni's for your awesome service!

It pains me to write this review because we really used to love this place. We have brought our Australian Shepherd here for the last 5 years, but sadly we will now be looking for a new groomer. We used to feel that while expensive at $90 a visit it was worth it. However the last few haircuts have left our boy with choppy looking fur, nails that barely looked trimmed, and the last time he had terrible clipper burn in his groin. When we previously discussed this with them upon discharge they told us they had some new groomers who were in training and would work on this for our next visit. Today was the final straw and we will not be returning. Not only was our dog anxious and stressed upon pickup with a choppy cut, but they charged us extra to brush him stating that it was because they did not use a deshed shampoo. They waited until they called to let us know he was ready for pickup before springing this extra $30 charge on us. Is it not standard for brushing to be part of grooming? If you're looking for a groomer that does poor quality work and sneaks in hidden fees this is your place, otherwise I'd recommend taking your family member elsewhere.

We love coming here because not only they are fast and efficient, my boy comes back relaxed. Which shows me that they are handling him great. You could just tell that my dog feels amazing after every visit. We've been coming here for a year and everyone seems very professional. But our favorite is definitely Claire! She even teaches me how to care for my mixed poodle's fur which is hard to manage. Will 100% recommend. I've already moved out of the area but im considering still coming back.

I almost never leave any sort of review but I had a truly disappointing experience with Noni's that I needed to relay to other potential customers. My wife and I recently moved to Pleasant Hill and we have taken our dog, a golden retriever, one or twice before and have had a generally pleasant experience. Unfortunately we will not be coming back again nor can I recommend Noni's to anyone else. On Saturday, we dropped our dog off at 10am and the technician said she would be done around 2pm or 3pm, which seemed like a long time but I assumed since it was the weekend they were slammed with other appointments. Noni's had both mine and my wife's cell numbers to call or text when our dog ready for pick up. Around 4pm my wife received a call from whoever was locking up for the night (not our technician) and said that our dog was quietly sitting alone in the holding area and while she was polite and apologetic could offer no reasonable answer for 1) how long my dog has been waiting alone 2) why neither my wife or I received a call or text earlier or 3) how on earth our technician could think it is appropriate to leave work for the day before reaching out to her client. It is frankly shocking and completely unacceptable that if it wasn't for the final walkthrough and lock up procedure of one diligent employee that my dog could have locked in and alone all night. This alone was reason enough to never entrust our dog to Noni's care again however I also have to say that our dogs actually grooming was enough to warrant 1 star. Our dog just needed a general tidy up on her paws and hindquarters and I specifically told the technician not to shave her belly. Once we got home not only did realize her belly had been shaved down but her paw trimming was terrible and embarrassing work. Photos attached. One paw was done great but that also highlights how poorly the others were done. I hate to write to such a negative review to a small business in the area but I can't recommend Noni's to others. -Matt

I made an appointment with them a month in advance confirming my appointment with a text and show up and suddenly I do not have the appointment even though I called and spoke to Sam to make sure that date is kept for her and here is the proof of the text message. They did not take in my dog to do the grooming and offered another date even though I made it clear previously weekends is the only date I can do. They are not that great picking up their calls. I called them couple of times to get hold of them to make these appointments. That should have been the first red flag

This place was awesome very friendly staff , normal grooming ambiance, and definitely great service. Looks like they are going through a remodel. Nee paint job and signs with new services they offer. I will be coming here for my dogs nails trims and etc. Thank you guys !

Wow and the owner tried to make light of my experience. People please do not take your pets here! These people are awful!

If you love your pet do not bring it here. Took my maltipoo for wash and cut. today $75 plus $15 tip and they cut my dogs skin. My husband picked her up and when she got gome I noticed she was licking herself. Once I inspected ber I noticed her wound in her belly.

Noni's always does a great job with my pup. I appreciate their patience bc my dog is very extra when it comes to people touching her paws. Everyone I talk to is always super nice and friendly and this will remain my go to place.

My golden have never looked so good and happy. Sam did an excellent job bathing and cleaning my dog.

I'd probably give 5 stars but the beard trim on my dog was just frankly not great. And I'm really not one of those people that goes crazy over my pets or all the details of their haircut - however I cannot ignore how patchy his beard came back.. it's one of his best features and the thing is kind of butchered idk, maybe I'm just uncultured and this is a style.. but the 'beard mutton chops' look is not for me That all said, the haircut otherwise looks good, and staff were incredibly friendly and responsive so give it a go if you're in the area. I'll personally be headed back to Orinda Pet Grooming as it's closer anyway - my wife insisted we give Nonis a try and it was worth a shot!

tl;dr: Ask for Samantha and thank me later! It's hard finding a dog groomer. After all, you usually do not know the result until it's all done and then it's too late. I mean, it's not like your dog can tell you what all went down either. There were groomers that failed to tell me that they nicked Charlie. There were groomers that did half-assed uneven jobs. And there were groomers that treated Charlie like a lesser dog because he was a rescue and not purebred. Well, this is not the case with Samantha at Noni's. Based on Charlie's results and the way I have seen Samantha treat him, I feel that I have found the best dog groomer in this part of the East Bay. It took us a while to find Samantha at Noni's but now that we have found her, she will be Charlie's groomer as long as we are in the area. On average, a cut takes about 2 to 2.5 hours and Samantha will call you when your puppers is ready.

We are new to the area, And very happy with the service our pup has received at Noni's. She has had several visits so far and each time we have a great experience.

Did a great job with my Keeshond which had a ton of hair to brush out! Felt with her anxiety issues and barking too. Very nice people.

There was a change in ownership, and the service just went downhill. My dog actually died here last July. The entire situation was beyond traumatic. You don't expect to drop your dog off and 30min get a call. My vet examined my dog and was willing to document her findings for a lawsuit. All I wanted was my dog back, and that wasn't happening.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. Do not use them any longer. If you thought you were getting the "same" group before you will be entirely mistaken. The new management is horrible and rude. Unsure why they would treat their customers so badly when they are trying to continue a good operation. I understand that there is a "lack of a better choice" in the area, but I would strongly advocate that you look elsewhere or drive a little further.

This was Daisy's favorite groomer. She went in a mess, came out a star. The folks who work here are kind, courteous, and know their business. (Daisy has since passed away, but we were clients for 4 years!)

Taking our exotic short hairs Noni's Pet Boutique & Grooming has been a wonderful experience for us a pet owners and for our boys, Cosmo 5 years old and Hoover, 10 months old. Regular grooming has improved their fur quality and controlled allergies. Our boys come home clean and happy. Noni's is an amazing pet grooming place . I have been bringing my pup here for a while, and just wanted to say how amazing they are with taking great care of her . I always get her anal extracted and also got her nailed trimmed. Everyone is so nice and kind . I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a local groomer to take your pets too. Noni and her staff are gone. This business was taken over, price three times higher and in under 5 minutes my 7lb Chihuahua was strangled, had a bloody nose and a bulging eye. She had to be rushed (by me ) to the emergency Vet. They were appalled and I believe reported this business for abuse. Do NOT bring your animals there for grooming. The Vet bill was $1200!!! Horrible! They got one star because I couldn't post the review without it. They are a negative 5.

Don't use this pet salon! Three dogs and NONE came out well or healthy. After leaving the salon, I emailed them and sent pics...and I did not request a refund! They never responded. My maltipoo was shaved in winter! I could have shaved him but chose to go to a "professional" for a de-matting service. 1 hour later he was done.... the groomer clearly chose the easier route. His review of my pup was too quick as we were rushed in amongst many other dogs. Two huskies were "bathed" one taking 4 hours so we took her without allowing them to finish her....she was traumatized! They also charged us for a 65 pound dog when they are each in the 40 pound range. They all have respiratory problems...going to the vet!

This is our local groomer. They are courteous, reasonably priced and do a fantastic job at grooming our pets.

Just picked up Rocky (my poodle mix) and he looks so good. Monique did such a good job with him. I also bring my husky for deshedding and he always looks amazing too!

Everybody was so nice and helpful. I think Clair groomed my dog! She did an amazing job in such a short time! Way better than my expectations since I tried a few different places since we moved to Lafayette. My puppy looks great and clean! Def will keep bringing him here

This review is for Lexi. Last visit we were here my dog had and us had a horrible experience. (Never ever schedule with Pam, I hope she doesn't work here anymore). Lexi went above and beyond to have my trust again in bringing my dog here. She is very knowledgeable with dogs in general and always gives us a run down about my dog. She actually truly cares about your dog. I am extremely picky and am hard to please especially when it comes to my fur baby. Lexi is hands down the best groomer here. She books up quick so book in advance, she will not disappoint you.

Only went to Noni's to follow Julie who had been our family dog groomer for years. This review is for management and NOT Julie. Julie is great. 1: My dog was pretty great with grooming until we started going to Noni's. He used to get so excited for his old groomer when we lived in Oakland. I should have noticed the change in his behavior when he started to cry as soon as week got in the door, and started to jump on me asking me to pick him up. 2: They put his leash next to his create and I guess because of the anxiety he kept pulling on it, which caused it to catch on the metal and tear. That's fine I get it, mistakes happen. So I asked every time after that, "Please do not store his leash on his crate when he is drying, he might pull and tear it". And yet it happened again. When I asked for a reimbursement, management at first said no, and when I said it is a brand new leash, responded with "well we can reimburse for half". 3: Management gaslights their customers often. They usually do reminder calls 1-2 days before your appointment, which is great! I sometimes book out 3-4 appointments in advance and not all of them land on the calendar. One time, I didn't get a reminder call. And when I asked why I didn't get a call, management said "Oh we haven't done reminder calls in a year!" I told her that is not true because I have been getting them consistently since I became a customer (1-2 years) and she responded with "Well you should consider yourself lucky then. We stopped doing reminder calls and let everyone know that, and if you got one then that was out of the kindness of our hearts." There was no notice at all about stopping reminder calls written anywhere in the store or handed out via paper/email. 4: They cut my dog's paw almost to the point where the pad was going to fall off and he would need stitches. The ONE time I couldn't get Julie as my groomer (she books up far in advance, good for her!), I was desperate for a grooming and said I would settle for any groomer. When I got my dog back, they said "oh he got a tiny little cut today, just a nick! We put the styptic powder on, so he should be fine." I paid and left, only to find when I got home the car seat covered in blood. Long story short: vet visits, antibiotics, traumatized dog, luckily no stiches needed after close observation and bandaging. I didn't have a chance to tell management about this until the following week since it was the weekend, and a busy holiday week. When I did get a chance to call and let them know, I was told "Well you should have called sooner. If you had called sooner, we would have given you a discount on your groom, but you're too late and we can't do that now." They are lucky I didn't try and make them pay for the vet bills. Noni's management is terrible and constantly gaslights their customers. Never going back.

Best grooming we ever had with my dog Marcel. Was fast professional, kind and care. I love this place and highly recommend it. Will only use them for my dog grooming in the future.

My wife and I brought our puppy Rambo here for the first time. ALL the staff here are wonderful and friendly. The proof is that my 4.5 month old puppy sat still enough to have clippers used on him. The groomers here are top notch, and have personalities that I think dogs love. We will be bringing Rambo here again and again. The manager here worked with us to iron out a couple of difficulties, and we could really tell she cared about our pet, and earning our business. Great job guys/gals! We'll see you again soon! Sam did an excellent job giving our Golden Retriever a summer haircut. She looked like a different dog. She's never looked better. The neighbors even noticed and complimented her on how great she looked.

After trying several groomers in The Bay Area, and burning gallons of high-priced gas, Noni's is the shop. They stay booked for a reason. They know what they're doing and are professionals. I commute 30+miles AND a toll just for the assurance that my dog will come back fresh, clean, and looking good. They are a bit expensive but the work is good. Lexi keeps Saint fresh.

I wish I could give 10 stars!! I usually groom my own dogs but Due to some life stuff, we'd forgone the grooming for a while. I was ashamed to take her in because my poor dog was a matted mess! I wish I had not wasted time worrying. I was treated with compassion and respect and Ali did a perfect job! My dog was nervous when we got there but When I got my baby back she was so comfortable with Ali, it was just like they were BFFs who had just had the best day of chasing squirrels, getting in the garbage and just doing dog things. It's clear that Ali and everyone we saw at Noni's have genuine affection for every dog. By the way they talk to them and about them, you can just tell how much they love them. And they treat the owners just as kindly! They struck the rare balance between friendly and professional. I happily set up our next appt for her to have a regular spa date!

I was so excited for my Labradoodle puppy to get washed and groomed here. Unfortunately I picked her to find a huge bald spot on the side of her head. They said she moved when they were cleaning around her ears. Although it was an accident, I do feel like they are suppose to be professionals and trained to work with dogs in a distracting environment. I understand small cuts or bald spots happen but this was huge. Never going back and do not recommend this place.

I have been taking my bichonpoo here for 5-6 years and i am so happy with the treatment he gets. The groomers are amazing

I have a special needs dog who has had back surgery, so he has difficulty when he has to use the bathroom - he can't control #1 or #2, unfortunately. This isn't an issue when he's taken out regularly. Had an appointment at 8:30 today. Received a call at noon (3.5 hours after drop-off) and was told that he couldn't be groomed because he couldn't control his bladder. Ashton has a note in his file indicating that he's a special needs dog. He had been groomed at this location before without issue or complaints. Needless to say, even though their website indicates that they work with special needs dogs, they obviously are not trained to do so (or do so only selectively and when it's convenient). DO NOT take your special needs dogs to this groomer. On their website, they state, "Each pet receives personal attention - offering a loving home away from home to each and every pet. All of this, coupled with superior customer service catering to each pet owner, will ensure that you feel that your pet is receiving the best care possible." I'm extremely disappointed that they did not hold up their own promise. It's so difficult handing over a special needs pet and entrusting their care to someone else. Unfortunately, that trust was broken, and we will not be returning to Noni's.
