Pistachio is one of my favorite gelato flavors, and Nonno’s is particularly good! It’s rich, creamy, nutty, and sprinkled with crunchy pistachio pieces. 10/10 I also tried the tiramisu-flavored gelato, but it tasted mostly like rum. I couldn’t make out other ingredients that are usually in tiramisu like mascarpone. I think the concept could be better if chunks of espresso-soaked lady fingers were mixed in or if the top was dusted with cocoa powder. Yum :) The staff was polite and attentive. I’d like to come back sometime to try other items here.

Nonno's Italian Coffee Parlor is the kind of place that makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. From the warm, inviting atmosphere to the rich aroma of freshly brewed espresso, every detail feels intentional and comforting. What truly makes the experience special is the people — especially Katie. She serves with such kindness and a genuine smile every single morning. Her warmth and attentiveness set the tone for the whole day, and it’s clear she cares about every customer she greets. It’s a small thing that makes a big difference. The espresso is strong and smooth, the pastries are authentically Italian (the cannoli is a must-try!), and the ambiance is cozy without feeling crowded. You can start your morning with a quiet coffee, meet a friend for a mid-afternoon catch-up, or just take a moment to slow down. You can tell there's heart behind everything they do. Highly recommend for anyone looking for more than just a caffeine fix — this is a true neighborhood gem. Thank you to Katie and the whole team for making each visit something to look forward to.

I don’t know why it’s taken so long to leave a review for Nonno’s. We’ve been going for years. We love it here! Great coffee, great staff, great location. Mary and Vinny take their coffee seriously, and always greet us with a smile. They really get to know their customers, and if you sit inside you will hear them greet one customer after another by name. Nonno’s is open later than most of the coffee houses in Doylestown, which is great if you’re like me and want to go out for coffee in the afternoon. Everything in their case is delicious, but if you want something extra special, try the crumb cake, it’s the best!

I was asking for recommendation at another local fb group for cupcakes as I was short on time to order for my son’s birthday. Vincent the owner of Nonno’s commented and I’ve sent him a direct message. Since he gave me a certain time window to order, I called the shop and one of his staff was kind enough to reach out to him to let him know He called! And to my surprise, even when he was on the road, he took my order 🙌🏼 The next day I’ve picked up the cupcakes, he was at the store, gave me extra as it fits better in the container and went above and beyond to offer coffee, perfect on the day dreary day I went in. Thanks to Vincent for taking above and beyond. The coffee was delicious and highly recommend for you to come and check this establishment even when it is close to, ahem, starducks 😝 I would choose small business owners over anytime and support 🙌🏼 Thank you again Vincent!

I really like the gelato here. Pistachio gelato -- mmmm, so good. Great location to hang out. One of the few good desert places in Doylestown.

Google
Sandra who left a review had the nerve to call into Jeff lewis live and attack a small business. She claimed the prices are too high but then made her review about the interior. Small businesses cannot price point their coffee like Dunkin donuts. They have to keep prices high to stay afloat. Small businesses are important to the community and her calling in on a national radio show to complain offended me as a barista of a small business in Maine for 8 years. We were not as cheap of Dunkin or Starbucks but we sourced and roasted our own coffee beans, and made relationship with the farmers. It's kind of disgusting that a homely person like Sandra would call into Sirius xm and complain about the prices and interior, like who are you to think you should have a decision in their business. Next time I'm in the area I will be happy to visit.

Google
Great coffee. The Affogato was perfect. The chocolate Mousse was below expectations and disappointing though. Solid 4 stars.

Google
Our daughter has worked there for about 2 years, while in graduate school. The owners are exceptionally kind, and treat both staff and customers like family. Of course, the coffee and treats are outstanding, also. Very highly recommended!

Yelp
Excellent coffee but wow the prices are even worse now. I got a large iced decaf latte and it was 8.90. Whoa.

Yelp
Lovely staff! Helpful and kind. Yummy pistachio gelato for two. So cozy and so charming !!!

Yelp
What a cozy cafe!! Plenty of seating inside tables of 1-2 inside. I got their cold brew coffee and their cannoli. Cold brew coffee was good. I'm not sure if the coffee ice cubes helped but if you're a slow coffee drinker, at least your coffee won't dilute! I don't eat cannolis too often so I'm not the best judge on them but it was pretty good. The filling inside is made to order! If you're in the area, check them out!

Yelp
Hi there, Just a quick note about this place. Coffee is okay, short Americano ended up being a big deal, but the girl was sweet to remake it. On another note, the manager/ owner ( couldn't tell) was very stressed and , for some reason, mad, just ended for my stress level for no reason. I just asked for a short Americano and got yelled at. I hope he feels better by now. Don't think I'm coming back there. Ambiance is stressful just because of that one guy being on an edge.

Yelp
Tasty coffee made to perfection with excellent customer service and an even better little table by the window. Great to sit and enjoy your coffee on a cool day while looking out at the nearby cute shops and street. They also have pastries, bagels, gelato and ice cream which in this occasion, we did not order but everything looked delicious and fresh.

Yelp
This place had the best scone I've ever had in my life. It was SO fresh and delicious. The ambiance was so nice, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Literally going to plan a trip out to Doylestown just to go here again. Do NOT skip this place!!!

Yelp
Had a terrible experience here. Went to get coffee and the, I'm assuming what was the owner, was absolutely chaotic and rude to his staff and customers. So sad to see. The coffee we got was not great/undrinkable/overpriced or else forgive and forget. Hopefully they were just having a bad day but felt terrible for the staff working with the crazy energy of the owner (or manager on duty).

Yelp
Fabulous experience and tasty delights enjoyed after dinner in town. Friendly, clean, many options and fair value.

Yelp
Was in town for a wedding and thought I'd grab a light breakfast and coffee to start the day off right. Walking around town I stumbled upon this absolute gem. The employees are friendly and greet you immediately upon entrance. Right up front you have a wonderful offering of pastries, bagels, and of course coffee. Deciding to keep things simple I went with a plain bagel and cream cheese with a standard latte. The bagel came out warm and delicious. The espresso in the latte was perfectly pulled and milk expertly steamed. I recommend sitting in the window and enjoying this slice of small town paradise.

Yelp
I was shopping on the corner of Main St and State St when my doctor called with test results. So I left the store and sat at a table right outside the store window. For a few minutes I sat there, processing the unwelcome news from the doctor's call. A man came to the table and told me that I couldn't sit there because the table was only for Nonno's customers. There were 4 or 5 empty tables at the time, and only one other table was in use. There was no sign on my table or the tables near me. If the man was the owner, this is a gentle reminder that there might be better ways to approach potential customers. And it might be good PR not to send a 70 year old woman from a table when there are 5 other empty tables outside. This is just not in synch with the spirit of our town.

Yelp
Cozy cafe in doylestown. I tried a chai latte with real cinnamon. Unfortunately it was pretty mediocre. But the barista was very nice and the place seemed quite busy so I bet they have some nice things to offer!
google avatar

Yelp
Cute shop with gelato, ice cream, and drinks. The staff are nice and you can try flavors of gelato before you order. The iced tea was very good.

Yelp
We've been here several times, and I highly recommend the hot mocha latte made with their fresh hot chocolate. Every time we visit, we're greeted by friendly staff who are quick to take our order and invite us to try. The fresh gelato made daily. They do have a nice assortment of premade sandwiches and pastries. That can be warmed up. We recently visited with a group of students during an activity, and they were happy to accommodate all of us. Hot or iced, I have never had any bad drink from Nonna's.

Yelp
Always have a nice experience at Nonno's. I've found the staff to be incredibly kind and welcoming. We like to stop in for an affogato after a meal at one of the other restaurants in the area. It's my top choice for the occasional sweet treat.
google avatar

Thomas C.

Yelp
Owner doesn't understand what price gouging is. If I can get the same good coffee for $2 and change at wawa, if not, even better coffee, then your cake was $10? Clearly doesn't add up. Definitely price gouging. And owner seems to be a snowflake who couldn't take criticism

Yelp
My wife, two sons, and I came here for gelato and coffee after a visit to the Michener Art Museum. The interior of the cafe has about 8 tables for 2-4 guests and some outdoor seating, however it's not ideal for large groups. Ordering can seem a bit chaotic - there's not really a single line, but once you connect with a staff person, they will take your order (sort of like being at a delicatessen or butcher, but without a "take a number" system). In the display case, I noticed 2 tiramisu cups and decided to give them to my wife and mother. They loved the tiramisu dessert. Although it was sweet, it was an ideal companion for espresso coffee. My sons devoured the gelato - chocolate and hazelnut. I really liked the atmosphere of this coffee parlor and its charming location in Doylestown! If you're visiting the Michener Art Museum for the day, I would strongly recommend a visit here for coffee or gelato afterwards.

Jake B.

Yelp
Definitely a little pricey but you pay for what you get. Coffees are all great. Most of the baked goods are excellent Gelato is above average and some of the better in the area

Isabella P.

Yelp
They have the best authentic Italian cookies money can buy. I got a bunch of cookies for my birthday and it was an amazing decision. I got a sheet of uncut rainbow cookies instead of cake and they make it look so cute. The top layer of chocolate was waved and the lettering was great. My mom was also able to order based off the size of the sheet she wanted which made ordering easy. We also specially ordered Savoiardi cookies and they came out perfectly. This was a real treat since these cookies are majorly underrated and hard to find. They have a minimum of three pound for specially ordered cookies. Which works out great since if I am specially ordering a type of cookie, I love them enough to want to eat a minimum of three pounds of them. Then we also got the butter cookies with the jam and chocolate and they were delicious. Though based off the selection we got, I am pretty sure everything they make is delicious.

Yelp
What a jerk. They had a sign saying "Please don't stay more than 60 minutes." The guy kicked me out after not even half an hour. If you want people to stay only half an hour, that's fine. Don't put up a sign saying otherwise. You guys won't be getting any more of my business.
google avatar

renje g.

Yelp
- very fast and friendly service - 'small' coffees are quite large - did not like my iced chai latte - loved my caramel/pretzel/chocolate ice cream - not very large on the inside

Yelp
To Vincent, my husband and I, coming in from out of State, had a bit of a challenge during a recent visit to your shop. Based on our family's strong recommendation, he was supposed to wait at your shop only for an hour, not more then 60 min during my doctor's appointment while enjoying some coffee. I find your response to him offensive, considering we're not locals and had no other place to wait! Despite the crowded setting, a bit more understanding would have been appreciated. Learning that he was asked to leave due to busyness came as a surprise in a text received only 25 minutes, after being dropped off. I was genuinely looking forward to joining him later, as my cousin speaks highly of your shop and its coffee. I understand the importance of running a business, but it's essential to address the issue with the sign suggesting 60 minutes is acceptable. It can be misleading and should be reconsidered. Additionally, making assumptions and criticizing customers' judgment in reading the room is not appropriate. Perhaps consider a sign stating a 30-minute limit to maintain a more respectful approach. While losing one client may not have a significant impact, it's crucial to uphold a fair and transparent policy. From someone who came all the way from California thank you for your hospitality. Complimenti per il servizio!!! Two thumbs down

Yelp
The fact that the line was out the door late afternoon on a Saturday speaks volumes. We received a gift card to Nonno's from our Realtor because this was his favorite spot, and we can understand why. The gelato, coffee, and pastry were delicious! Unfortunately, there wasn't any seating, but the weather was pleasant enough that we were happy to stand outside.

Jude K.

Yelp
Pretty good bagel, great espresso, crunchy yummy flaky pastry. One star for not allowing digital tips for your baristas. I never carry cash, so I can't leave a tip, as you don't have your Square app configured to allow tips. Will change to 5 stars if this is changed so your hardworking baristas can get the tips they deserve! No good reason not to allow this.
google avatar

Rachel R.

Yelp
The pignoli cookies here are OTHERWORLDLY. So, so good. The coffee is really great too! We also got a slice of apple/walnut cake that I didn't love (maybe if it was warmed up?) and a chai latte which was just "OK". But the pignoli cookie and the normal coffee make up for it. :D Service here is phenomenal as well. You can tell that the people here really care and have a lot of pride in what they do. One of the owners even stopped to ask us how we liked everything. The clientele seemed really friendly too! I like this spot.
google avatar

Kat C.

Yelp
I only tried the ice cream, and it wasn't special at all. It had ice crystals, too, which is annoying. The girls behind the counter were friendly.

T G.

Yelp
Just wasted $18 for 2 hot chocolates and a creme brûlée! Do yourself a favor and skip this place - don't waste your time or money.

John B.

Yelp
Love to come in for a good cup of coffee and enjoy relaxing here, however, they need to up their game concerning the donuts and buns they sell they just don't seem fresh and are always hard and cold. Other stuff they sell is good but they just need to get a new supplier for the cinnamon buns and donuts'

Kristin W.

Yelp
The service, level of coffee and gelato are outstanding. Quality and taste are not compromised. A must visit if you are in Doylestown

Eunice B.

Yelp
I had a poor experience here. They were having a party and the woman behind the counter told me they couldn't serve me because of the party which I understood and left. As I was waiting in my car I watched 2 people cross the street and go inside and then walk out with 2 coffees a few minutes later. Why were they served and I wasn't. Funny business. Do not recommend.
google avatar

Roxanne B.

Yelp
Great owner. I went in for carrot cake, hoping that I could get an entire cake and even though they sell by the slice, the owner was willing to sell me a full cake at the price she charges for commercial sales. She also threw in a free chai latte which I had ordered separate from the cake. Both the chai latte and the cake were delicious. My son doesn't even like chai but he stole half of my latte. I will definitely be checking more out at this location. Very clean, small space, but there were several people behind the counter to make sure everyone was being waited on.

Yelp
I'm making it my mission to spend more time in Doylestown and in doing so, I really want to put my money into the local economy. So, when my boyfriend and I were in desperate need of a caffeine boost after checking out some local stores, we decided to hit up Nonnos instead of the nearby Starbucks. First thing to note, the store is small. You're not going to be able to spread out and get cozy here. So if you're missing the more chill hang-out vibe of the Zen Den, this isn't the spot for you. The narrow space between the tables and the counters also means the flow of foot traffic can be a bit challenging at times. They had an expansive menu, but I didn't feel like I had a chance to step back and really look at it before deciding, so I ended up picking a basic latte and missing out on something potentially more delicious. This is in no way the fault of the very pleasant and super busy employees there, just a location issue. Speaking of missing out on something yummy, keep in mind the gelato selection is spread out over two cases split by the counter in the middle, so you might want to check out both sides before committing. There are signs everywhere telling you how many people are able to sit at each table (i.e. "This table is reserved for 2-4 people. Please do not add extra chairs") They also indicate that you can only sit for 60 minutes at a time. I understand they're trying to make the most of their space, but it does feel a bit unwelcoming and not everyone there followed the rules of the signs. COVID safety-wise, the staff seemed to be very on top of cleaning and sanitizing tables and all of the pastries in the case were individually wrapped. I also noticed they fill your cannoli when you order them, rather than pre-filling and letting them get soggy and gross. That made my little Italian heart happy. As for the coffee itself, it was perfectly fine. Didn't blow my mind, didn't disgust me. It was exactly as an iced latte should be. The price was a little higher than a chain coffee shop, but only by about a dollar or so, which is fine with me since we're shopping local. This is worth a stop to get your caffeine on and maybe grab a sweet bite, but plan to get it to go and get on with your shopping, don't plan on this as your next coffee date spot.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a quaint little shop in downtown Doylestown. They have a great variety of gelato, cakes, pies, pastries and anything for your sweet tooth. They have a nice variety of coffees, teas and Lattes. MY chai tea Latte was warm and lovely. I will be back to enjoy some sweets and more chai latte. p.s. I did not have the latte pre-made, mine was made with a special tea bag and milk! Great find!

Yelp
The pistachio gelato was too freaking good to share!! Paired with the espresso, this affogato was incredibly delicious. I loved the little pistachio pieces in the gelato, it was a fresh change and mixed with the espresso made it so creamy. The service was really nice, the server was so sweet and was happy to answer all my questions. The place is cute and tiny for a homey feel and perfect for a quick pick-me-up with friend(s). I can't wait to go back for more.

Yelp
We decided to try Nonno's today since we were walking around Doylestown. I was looking forward to it based on all of the good reviews. It's a cute little place. We hit it at the right time on a sunny Sunday. Most of the tables were taken but it wasn't too crowded. I looked in the display case and there were a variety of items but nothing was labeled. I could tell what most of the items were but labels would have helped. We randomly chose a plain donut with sugar topping, a Boston cream donut, a piece of crumb cake, and two tea biscuits to eat at home later. We also got an iced Chai tea latte. The sugar donut was good but not outstanding. It was very dense and heavy. The Boston cream donut was delicious--probably the best I've ever had! The crumb cake was very tasty also. The crumb cake topping was extremely thick and hard but tasted exactly like I remember it should. The expensive iced Chai tea latte was nothing special so very disappointing for the $6 plus price. Honestly, the ones at Wegmans are better. It cost over $25 for two donuts, a piece of crumb cake, two tea biscuits, and a latte. That's about $5 an item. I realize it's Doylestown but that's too expensive. If I ever go back there, I'd skip the coffee, get the Boston cream donut again, and also try the decadent looking gelato. I'll give an update on the tea biscuits after I've tried them. I have high hopes because if they taste like they look, I'll be happy. We'll see. As we were leaving Nonno's there was a long line out the door. I probably wouldn't have waited in that. A sign inside tells customers not to push tables together and that seating is limited to one hour. I understand the reasons for that but it came across as a little hostile to me. They could have perhaps phrased it better. Parking in Doylestown on a busy Sunday is ridiculous. More spots opened up as we we're leaving but that wasn't until after 4:00. I'd like to go explore on a less busy day. If you're there walking around, take a break and check out Nonno's. It's worth trying.

Yelp
I thought I reviewed Nonnos before but apparently not. I love going here because of how late it is open. My biggest complaint is the pricing. I love supporting small businesses and I get that sometimes they're more pricey which is fine but I want to know how much they're charging for lattes because I spent just over $14 on one small and one large , just regular lattes with one flavor - nothing crazy . The large isn't even large it's like everywhere else's medium. I can't imagine what I'm being charged for each, but there are many other coffee shops in the area that are more affordable but even Starbucks I can get more for my $ and get something fancier. I also don't love that they have time seat. I understand that they're a smaller shop and popular but most people want to sit for awhile with their coffee. The baristas are always very nice though and it is always a clean and good environment.

Yelp
Here was my experience today...mind you I've never had an experience much different since the particular man left who ran it for a while. Several of us in line, the person behind the counter not the fastest by a long shot. We're all trying to be patient. Then the phone rings and she proceeds to put all of us on hold while she speaks to this person on the line. Rude! Rule # 1...prioritize your customers. Ask the person on the phone to please hold until you have a moment to speak to them. Here's my other big beef...They charge $5.50 for a 20 oz. Iced Coffee!!! Seriously? Too many better options out their in town. They've lost me for good

Yelp
Nonno's is a cute little parlor conveniently located in the heart of Doylestown. I went late Sunday morning and there was a small crowd, yet still seating available. The line moved quickly, as the staff was working hard to take and fill orders. I appreciated the hustle! I ordered a honey vanilla cinnamon latte, which is my go-to order. It wasn't the best one I've ever had, but it got the job done! I have also ordered cappuccinos here and really enjoyed them. Definitely somewhere I'll return!

J L.

Yelp
My first visit here and I will be returning. Met a friend for coffee and enjoyed the warm and friendly atmosphere. I enjoyed a chai tea latte and my friend had a cafe au lait. We split a generous slice of crumb cake that was moist and had a thick crumb topping. Employees were friendly and service was quick. Looking forward to my next visit.
google avatar

Eugene A.

Yelp
This place was jumping on a Sunday! Nice coffee shop right in the downtown. Ordered a pair of cappuccinos to go. The roast was dark, as you might expect from an Italian Coffee house. Unlike Starbucks and some others dark roast, it was very smooth without any burnt or bitter aftertaste. Really delicious in the Italian style. Look forward to our next visit. Recommend giving them a try

Mike G.

Yelp
This place was so friendly and the ice cream was delicious. The staff were helpful and we really appreciated that they offered to let us sample the ice cream flavors.

Yelp
I loved the iced americano and the crumb cake is outstanding. It is worth a stop in. The staff was super friendly and very attentive!

Yelp
A visit to Doylestown PA the Mercer Museum which is about a man who inherited grandmoms money started a tile business and created a huge collection if old tools even dating back to BC. He then built a castle to show off his collection and that's where we are. Afterwards we proceeded to the quaint town of Doylestown and located this establishment. With seating on the sidewalk and indoors the place is decorated old style with the wooden floors. The ladies behind the counter were awesome and I enjoyed a mocha cappuccino which was simple delicious. I also ordered a chocolate croissant which was on the dry side. I will admit it was late afternoon on a Sunday so some of the pastry may not be at its freshest. All in all it was a cute nook to enjoy a cup of coffee. I would definitely return.
google avatar

Will L.

Yelp
We were meeting family in Doylestown for dinner, but headed into town a little early to walk around and explore. Seeing the sign, we decided to stop in for a cup of coffee, and we decided to split an iced latte. We had it before long; in fact, it took us a little longer to line up and pay! The iced latte was pretty great in my opinion. Many times, iced lattes can be a little too sweet or just not strong enough, but that wasn't the case with this one! It was a strong latte even though it had ice in it, and I really enjoyed it. Some of their gelato flavors looked interesting, so I think we would come back to try some of that, and some more coffee!

Yelp
Small cozy place with great coffee, good variety of pastries and very friendly personnel.

Lisa C.

Yelp
Worst Coffee in town along with even worse service! i love small coffee shops and i especially love supporting small businesses. but what i don't love is rude management and rude teenage girls working for the management. Vinny is a rude and very disrespectful man, who needs to be put in his place. Along with that drip of a wife mary who cannot manage a store let alone her own husband and his anger issues. i've seen the way he treats his workers and i've seen the way his managers treat the workers, the one girl Nadia is awful, she's pushy and rude to the girls behind the counter and acts like us customers are stupid when we are the reason she's getting paid let alone even have a job!!! The coffee has progressively gotten worse and it really disappoints me, i used to love nonno's with the original owners because it was always happy and welcoming now this is a cesspool filled with bad service, bad coffee, and horrible prices!

Yelp
Fantastic coffee, great ambiance, yummy raisin tea biscuit (they recommended to toast it with butter - delicious!!), and delicious cannoli (which I am usually not a fan of cannolis). Great place!

Yelp
Their ice cream was delicious however, there was glue on my waffle cone from the wrapper. Also, the one employee was very rude. I wish I caught her name
