If spice is your thing, this is the place. All the dishes for the most part are super spicy -- so brace yourself. It seems like a mom and pop shop ran by this couple. When we were there however, the owner had a fight about infidelity with his wife and throws the menu and note pad he was gonna take order from and had the whole argument in front of our party of 11. It got a bit awkward as we were originally gonna order prior to the situation. There were some minor profanity usage in mandarin as well, it kind of showed a side or unprofessionalism, but aren't we all human after all?
The dishes comes with plenty flavor, and they do charge rice by the bowl. But they offer old and hot water selection and the owners would come out and help us. The place is small, only have about 8 tables or so, so it's understandable that it is processed this way. Would defiantly come back for the beef noodle soup (although there was not much beef in the noodle soup like originally advertised), and their spicy dunkin dumplings (probably better than dintaifung).
It seems like a lot of dishes were mostly vegetables and spice rather than the contents ordered.
It seems compared to many pictures previous people have posted. The content have became less and more diluted. I understand they also changed owners a year ago and may also add to reason why.
The owner had some dry humor, which was cute I get but wasn't something I am accustomed to during my dine in experience.
He had shared how everything is made unique to the place and continues to brag about the place, which makes it feeling less humbling in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, a owner with pride is awesome but not if they kept repeating how great their place is while we are dining.
Easy parking as it's in a plaza with not much parking competition.
