"If you, like us, have watched loops of those adorable TikTok videos where babies discover ice cream for the first time, then you’ve already witnessed the joy we feel about Noodle Boat Thai. This Issaquah spot packs so much flavor into each dish that it feels like you're eating in high definition. The yellow curry fried rice tastes like every single grain has been steeped in spice, while pops of sweetness from the raisins and pineapples complement the nutty flavor. Their tom kha soup bursts with so much lemongrass and ginger you will literally have to pick pieces out—but the effort is rewarding. While there’s nothing much to the dining room except some plants and a few very cute elephant statues, Noodle Boat works for a quick lunch or a nice dinnertime respite after spending three hours at the nearby Costco." - kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo

We orderd ka-pao-rad-kao and khao mun gai and both are so delicious, this is indeed the best and most tasty Thai food in eastside that we have had so far. Their dessert looks so good but we were full already, so will definitely come back to try more varieties.

Google
I recommend Thai tea Because it was like Real Thai Tea in Thailand and cheaper 🥰🥰🥰 But I ordered Thai noodles but they didn't give a spoon for me and I didn't say No meatball but a waiter she made no meatballs 🥲 Just recommend please make sure your order is will be correct ✅

Google
The food was fantastic! So delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was super friendly as well. It took a bit for our food to make it out, but they seemed super busy. Will definitely come back again.

The food here is AMAZING! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our party of 3 loved our lunch yesterday. We all ordered Cashew Nut on the lunch menu. It was $13.95 and it was large enough that I had the rest for my dinner. Loved it. A plus! It’s not a fancy place, but it doesn’t need to be with this great food. Great job Noodle Boat!

Google
Some of the best Thai food I've had in a long time! Both the Pad Woonsen and the Curry were fantastic. The portion sizes are good - 1 meal if you're hungry and 2 if you're not too hungry. Plenty of vegetarian options. Prices are very reasonable. Good and fast service. There's an electric fireplace to warm your hands by which is a nice perk, and the ambience is overall quite pleasant. We were seated immediately on a Wednesday evening. There's plenty of parking. I'll be back!

Google
I recently dined at this Thai restaurant, and it was fantastic! The Pad Thai was delicious—perfectly cooked noodles with just the right balance of flavors. The eggplant dish was also a standout, tender and packed with authentic Thai spices. The location is convenient, and having free parking nearby made the visit even better. Prices are modest for the quality and portion sizes, making it a great value. If you're looking for tasty Thai food in a welcoming spot with easy access, this place is a must-try!

Google
Not worth going to this restaurant for the flavor of their food or for a relaxing dinner. Service was poor: they forgot silverware and water!!!! Food was extremely oily and had little flavor. If you can, try a different Thai restaurant.

Noodle Boat is a hidden gem in Issaquah ! Authentic Thai food . Butterfly pea lemonade is so refreshing. I had Kra Pow rad Kao and Crying Tiger, they are just like what I had in Thailand 🇹🇭.

Yelp
* Chicken pad thai 4/5 * Pad see ew 3/5 * Veggie fried rice 2/5 Not as good as the last few time. And the fried rice tasted burnt. Like the pan was burnt before it was used. Still a great restaurant

Richard L.

Yelp
Nice quaint little spot in a plaza. Service was great. Thai iced tea was....Thai iced tea. It was good. Crying Tiger for appetizer - the sauce was great, perfect spice. The beef was a bit chewy, more medium rare than medium (my preference). Not a big deal. Boat noodles with pork was pretty good. Rice noodles were very thin. Broth was a bit bland. I guess if I would've squeezed the lemon, it would've added the right amount of flavor. Otherwise the soup was great. The veggies and pork were delicious. My wife ordered Khao Soi. Very good. Noodle nice and al dente. The soup was flavorful and not overbearing. Well done.

Phoebe C.

Yelp
Probably one of the best, yet cheapest and big portion sized thai food in the washington area. The service was good, and the food was delicious. Perfect for some casual dining and if you want a full meal. Pad see ew was $15!

Dakota M.

Yelp
Love love love the chicken pad Thai. Such a yummy spot. Definitely a hole in the wall restaurant but the food is top notch!

Deb L.

Yelp
Appetizers were mostly breading. Cashew chicken was cold and oily. Crispy chicken had bones in it. Server was rude. Used to be a good place, but not anymore. Would never go back.

Jane K.

Yelp
I have been coming to this little hole in the wall place for years. The Owners that started it sold it to the new Owners and then the new Owners have expanded though I've never been sat in the "new wing". It could honestly use more updating and remodeling but I don't care about that. The food is delicious! It had been inconsistent depending on who was cooking on a certain day when the curries were thin. On my most recent visit though, it was great. We always order Pad See Ew with fresh tofu and this time we ordered Green Curry with Chicken. Both were on the lunch menu and included soup or salad and we ordered 2 spring rolls. The Pad See Ew is always cooked perfectly, not too dry and not too saucey. We had it come with Chinese broccoli for an upcharge. The green curry was great but since I don't eat green bell peppers I asked them to sub for mushrooms. Another favorite dish that was the Khao Mun Gai Tod which is essentially fried chicken with yellow rice and raisins. The last time I ordered it, it wasn't the same but I may try it again and I often also order the panang curry. This place has been a favorite of mine for many years.

Yelp
Noodle Boat has been around for a long time and as long as I can remember growing up in Issaquah. I think I've been once before (maybe 10 years ago...) but it's been a while. Since I was in the mood for Thai food, I decided to give this place a go. After reading previosu Yelp reviews, I learned that they had changed management within the past year and that the food wasn't as authentic as before. With that information in mind, I chose a safe and common Thai dish option- Phad Kee Mao with chicken. My friend chose the fresh rolls and the Whatever You Called (yellow curry with carrots, pineapple, onions, broccoli and water chestnuts) with chicken. We both ordered 5 star spicy dishes as reviewers have previously commented that the spice is catered to American tastes and to order up a few stars Service was prompt; we were immediately seated and ordered and received our food within 15 minutes after. The server was also very nice and polite. The FRESH ROLLS were passable. They didn't have bean sprouts which my friend doesn't like anyway so that worked out. However, the peanut sauce that came with it tasted like a literal peanut butter cookie or peanut brittle... it was just way too sweet to the point where I just opted to eat the fresh roll on its own. The PHAD KEE MAO had the right texture, but tasted more like Phad See Ew because of how sweet it was- it almost tasted like teriyaki sweet in my opinion. The chicken was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. Also, the five star spice tasted like a two star spice level at most. The WHATEVER YOU CALLED was disappointing. It was heavy in coconut milk but really lacked yellow taste and flavor. Like everything else we ordered it was way too sweet. They also forgot or didn't have water chestnuts in the dish as described on the menu. The curry was slightly spicier than my noodles, but still a three star spice level at most. The atmosphere is kinda run down. It's clean, but the chairs and tables are old. It looked like they were renovating half of the restaurant though. It's a very casual and not very trendy or fancy by any means. Noodle Boat is Christian-owned as implied by the Bible verse painting(s) in the restaurant and contemporary Christian music playing in the background. Portion sizes are significantly larger than other Thai restaurants in the area like Thai Khao San on Main Street, and so you do get more value for your money. However, I think I'll be sticking with Khao San for their more authentic tasting Thai food. If Noodle Boat ups the spice and cuts back on the sugar, then maybe I'll be back. Overall: 2.5/5 for food, 4/5 for service, 3/5 for atmosphere

Jboogie L.

Yelp
Got some takeout entrees for the first time. Portions are decent; slightly light on the tamarind flavor for the pad thai but otherwise i would come back. The prices for entree is slightly lower than some other outrageously priced dishes at other thai places in the area.

Lillian Q.

Yelp
I don't know why people gave this little restaurant such low rating but I actually find it to be the best in the area. It's conveniently located opposite to Target. The owner took over the business a year ago but she's really nice to customers -always smiling and I feel like it's the real Thai cuisine here, instead of just being overly sweet like others. Coming here at night feels very warming. It's my only go-to Thai restaurant in Issaquah.

Nessa C.

Yelp
This is my absolute favorite thai food restaurant in Issaquah! The service is always welcoming and kind, and the food is extremely flavorful! Coming here all the time for date night dinners and for family gatherings

Charlotte S.

Yelp
Arrived 4:30 pm to avoid crowds, the restaurant only has another table with two customers. They were served after 5 mins. I have ordered only one noodle dish and nobody else surround me are waiting except delivery. Till 5:10 pm the only one dish didn't even served and keep telling me the kitchen is making it. I just got very irritated after few times. I have decided to cancel and walk away first time in my life. Very bad experience.

Joobee C.

Yelp
Super yummy food. Always order online and pick up and it's always ready. Recommend for good Thai food!

Casey K.

Yelp
Updating my review to reflect the current status of the food: Noodle Boat is now under new management and that unfortunately means the food has changed...and not in the good way. My family ordered the same dishes as usual, which was the pad see ew and crispy chicken dishes. Pad see ew: flavorless and not spicy (got 3 stars). Below average of the pad see ew in the Puget Sound area IMO. Crispy chicken: portion size got smaller, the crispy chicken itself has changed and is not really seasoned, and the rice tastes like Indian curry...??? It's a shame because this was our favorite Thai restaurant in Issaquah but we'll have to look for a new location now.

Sandra L.

Yelp
Called in an order to go around 5:30 pm last night. (Currently there is only "To Go" ) They said it should be ready in about 30 minutes. We ordered...Larb Gai, & Pad See Ew with beef. The Larb was tasty ...but the Pad See Ew was so disappointing! Despite the generous portion, The beef was way over cooked and the noodles stuck together. This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Issaquah, but I guess I will have to try another restaurant for Pad see ew

Lucie L.

Yelp
Good food and service but our 2 star food tasted like 10 stars!!! Very spicy and I love a bit of spice but it was definitely not a 2 star. Food is fresh and good but just a 1 star knock off for the spice level!

Gary C.

Yelp
Lousy experience... Called in an order on Sunday night around 8:10 for just Pad Thai, was told 15-20 minutes. Showed up at 8:25, paid my $16 bill and proceeded to wait and wait. During that wait, more people showed up with to-go orders and were put in the same position as me (waiting). During the 25 minutes I waited the host did nothing but make smoothies...for who, I don't know, no one waiting got their order. Finally after 25 minutes I had enough (kid and dog waiting in the car) and asked for a refund. The host got one of the ladies from the kitchen to process my refund and I left quite unhappy. 45 minutes of wasted time. Look I understand they were busy and I understand these things happen...but Noodle Boat, communicate to your customers...let them know what's happening, tell them an accurate estimate when they place the order, offer up a revised estimate along the way...do something...don't just leave an ever growing pack of people just inside your entrance wondering what the hell is going on. Lots of Thai restaurants in Issaquah...I like that you are open an hour after the others, but you've got to be better than this... Gave 2 stars because although this time was a major fail, you've been solid in the past

Yelp
Super fun family run spot with excellent service and food. Started with crab wontons they were excellent. They're served with a plum sauce they were cooked perfectly. Had Tom come soup with chicken. The wheatgrass and all the flavors jump out at you on your tongue it's a nice size portion for $13.95 plus $2 for the chicken. For the entree had pad Thai. With chicken (I know it's boring) The level 3 spice was enough to make your lips burn and the pad Thai was a gooey delightful mix of the peanut sauce and peanuts and chicken and noodles with a couple of bean sprouts on the side. An excellent dish! The bathroom has kind of a homemade stall but it's nice and clean and there's plenty of parking out front.

Clinton T.

Yelp
It's right next to our kids daycare and we've driven past it countless times and for some unknown reason, never tried it! We decided to give it a try recently and were kicking ourselves for not having tried it sooner. We ordered the Tom Kha, Phad See Ew and the Khao Man Gai. The Tom Kha and Phad See Ew were great! The Khao Man Gai was ok. I was expecting a whole sliced leg, thigh or breast as that's what I'm used to. Instead, it was sliced, then poached chicken breast that was kind of dry. The saving grace was the rice, which was excellent. We'd order the rice alone if we could! Overall, we'll definitely order again but will definitely skip the Khao Man Gai.

Nate S.

Yelp
Been going to noodle boat for 15+ years, and sadly today was my last. I have traveled to Thailand and this restaurant WAS one of the best food experiences in the greater Seattle area that matched the quality and flavors of Thailand. The new owners have changed the menu and made this just another American thai spot. The food tonight lacked flavor, spice, quality, vegetables, and proteins that made Noodle boat a 'must have'. I will always remember the last 15+ years going to noodle boat celebrating all aspects of life and for that I am grateful. I just wish I could have it one last time to savor the flavors and the moment.

Soraya B.

Yelp
The food was fantastic. The service and people were so kind and caring. The seating was great as well as the inside area. I believe that they should have more customers. The day before, we went to a hotpot place, it was ok, but know that we tried this restaurant we want to come here more. Ten times better than any restaurant, especially a hotpot place. We loved this restaurant and will come more, very nice!

Beau F.

Yelp
The wide rice noodles are my favorite. I was able to have 2 whole meals with just one dish! Great taste and value

lux l.

Yelp
They've expanded to take over the space next door and seems that they've added Thai street food items to their menu. Been back a few times, chef not consistent and seems to be a hit or miss.

Kari B.

Yelp
It was okay. The food smelled a little off. The fresh rolls with shrimp were cut funny to hide the fact that you get one shrimp cut in half (sparse). In the other orders we had, we asked for 4 out of 5 spice level and neither of us could taste any heat. The decor was quite off and the place is in need of a good deep clean too. The service was excellent though. Overall, there are plenty of Thai restaurants in Issaquah alone that I would visit before going here. My entire party agreed to cross this off and not go again.

Niti G.

Yelp
As a vegetarian, there were ton of options - loved Tom yum soup and the vegetable fried rice. It was very favorable, tofu or vegetables based. Tom yum soup was the best of the things we tried.

Lisa C.

Yelp
This does not look like much from the street or inside. But the food is solid. The fresh rolls are very good with your choice of tofu, chicken or shrimp. We also enjoyed the crispy garlic chicken, panang curry, phad see ewe and eggplant dish.

Laura C.

Yelp
COVID-19 takeout This was our first time trying Noodle Boat. We ordered dinner on Tuesday around 6:00pm and our food was ready when we got to the restaurant by 6:20. We enjoyed the tofu pad thai, pad see ew, cashew chicken, and panang curry! The orders of rice are plenty, you probably only need 2 for a family of 4. It was a little more expensive thar other Thai restaurants in Issaquah, but the speed of service was worth it.

Reena E.

Yelp
Mixed feelings about this place! Started with a very random salad. Nice touch, but really unnecessary. Panang curry and tom yum was delish! Spring roll sauce was good, spring roll itself needs to be rolled more tightly (but on the other hand, not really a thai dish). Customer service was a bit slow, and another side note, my silverware was dirty. I'd give it another chance though, since the curry was really good and the sauce for the spring roll was freshly made.

Senor C.

Yelp
Everything has changed. I am not sure that it is the same owner although I was assured that it was and that she was in Thailand. The menu now sucks and food isn't cooked the same. Even the website changed so I don't believe them when they tell me "same owner". My food sucked and it was put on a tiny plate with no additional plate to work with. This was also true for my family who ordered other dishes. The (prior?) owner would have never allowed what I got served. My 4 star was a joke. My 13yo who HATES SPICE tried it and said .. "meh .. ". Also, it was a gloopy mess. I won't be back until I see the (prior?) owner behind the counter. This makes me sad as I have been a customer since around 2000. (yes 2000). Don't get me wrong, my Wife's King of Garlic wasn't bad but this is not what I have come to recognize Noodle Boat for. There are better places on the east side (and even Issaquah) to get Thai food than what I was served. I see that the restaurant is being expanded. Save your money NoodleBoat if that is what you are going to be serving in the newly expanded restaurant. Please come back owner lady. My taste buds need you. Also -1 for not telling the truth new owner.

Nathan P.

Yelp
This Thai food is truly a dream come true. Everything was texture perfect, the food was so freshly cooked that i had to wait a minute for it to cool down. Out of the 5 dishes we ordered not a single complaint, the service was excellent and I am almost speechless after so many terrible experiences at our local Thai food restaurants. I would recommend this to anyone, anytime. I recommend the Noodle Boat or the Lard Na.

Shiva S.

Yelp
The ambiance is ok, service nice and food ok. The food portion was generous, they accommodated our dietary restrictions.

George L.

Yelp
One of my favorite Thai places I've had ever, and I came all the way from California to check this place out like damn. Recommended by a friend of a friend from Georgia who's lived in the area before, I thought it'd be worth trying to make it out to this remote place about 40 minutes from downtown Seattle and boy it was worth the trip. We love spicy food, so me and my friend settled for the hottest thing on the menu. Went with Pad Phad Thai and Red Curry with level 5 on the spice level. Out of a 5 out of a 5 in chilis, we wanted a 5, more than the typical american spicy levels in the US. So we asked in Thai to have our level at PHED MAK spicy, which is basically asking for the spice levels to be off the charts lol. They granted it which normally restaurants don't which was great, I love that. Also got milk tea which came in the prettiest ceramic cup. This came in handy for the intense spice levels that I miss from Asia haha. But ohhhh, the curry was on point. Even without the spices the coconut sauce was lovely, the beef was tender, and everything was cooked to perfection. Theres no fake dye and no bitterness in the curry which was great, as everything complimented one another well. The place was pretty unassuming on the outside and looked really fun inside with a lot of thai themes and decor that stands out from other places. Even the menu is decked out here. Not much more to say, but it's a nice touch. 5/5 go again. I dig this place.

Huong L.

Yelp
A solid 4.5 stars , this place is is pretty awesome! This place has been in my list of places to try after hearing how the chefs fly to Thailand yearly to learn about the food. We ordered the banana blossom dish and the fire chicken dish with a side of rice. The banana blossom was on the tart side but not overpowering. The fire chicken dish was really cool to look at but also very yummy. It was tender and falling off the bones. The subtle hint of crunch was good and the flavor is spot on. The rice was very fluffy and went well with both dishes. I'm usually not a rice person but I actually wanted to order more rice. Oh and the spice was perfect. I ordered everything 3 stars and my bf was already sweating, I can't wait to see what the 5 star would be like! Service was good. They were pretty attentive in refilling our water. Portion was good for the price. If you are adventurous, this place is definitely a place to try as they have interesting things on the menu. They also have the typical items as well. Overall, I will come back!

Heather T.

Yelp
Food was really enjoyable, lots of noodle dishes I've never seen before. The portions looked small but were rather filling.

Jonelle T.

Yelp
Thai food to the rescue last night! with a little covid-19 takeout from Noodle Boat. Love this place, but we usually choose to dine-in. The food is always tasty and seems much more authentic than your usual thai joints. Our standard order is pad thai, pad see ew, yellow curry fried rice and the red curry. They also don't skimp on spices here. I'd say their 2-star is more like 3-stars elsewhere, so just beware when selecting your spice levels. Portion sizes are very generous and our typical order usually yields a few meals for us.

Linda J.

Yelp
Young family owned business! Great flavors, service was fast and good! Lots of dishes to try too. I had banana leaf, which I didn't know you could even eat! Delicious and delightful!

Kim S.

Yelp
Had lunch here today and really loved our entrees. We had Pad Thai, Pad Basil, Green Boat they were all really good. I love Thai Basil-have had Thai restaurants sub in Italian basil...but this was the real deal. My husband had the Green Boat and he said it was probably the best he's ever had. We will definitely come back. Service was excellent.

Stelio D.

Yelp
Our family all like the food preparation of the Thai dishes at Noodle Boat. It's another sleeper of a gem in Issaquah. They do a booming take out and delivery business since lockdowns, so seating in no longer hard to get at peak times. I highly recommend the more traditional dishes over the deep fried options. The service is always great. The spice levels are in the mild side if you're into real Thai, e.g. we ordered 4/5 spice and it was mildly spicy for us. We like heat! Why not 5 stars? I'd prefer more authentic. (Which they do so well) and no deep fried Americanized options, although I appreciate a lot of people prefer those. Also, and I can understand this is hard to finance under current circumstances, but the interior, including the washrooms could use an update. But the food is the most important thing, and I give the Thai dishes 5 stars.

Smaly K.

Yelp
Ordered the Phad Thai with beef to-go. It was alright; it didn't excite me too much. The beef was a little bit dry, but I did like that 5-stars spiciness actually had a bit of a kick, spicier than a lot of other restaurants' 5-stars. I think I will be back to give other entrees a try.

Sandy N.

Yelp
Again I am scoring a bit generous during our covid times, as places are short staff and more. This was such an excellent find. The sign at the door warned of a possible slow then expected wait time due to limited staff. We did not experience any of that at all. In the staff made sure to acknowledge upon entry and was attentive the whole time. We had Phad See Lew and Tom Kha, along with pot stickers. Every thing was flavorful and generous. The server noted we move the Tom Kha to the edge of the table after only each having one bowl, and asked if all was OK. We said yes it was our intention to take it home for dinner later, but we liked the concern she express. We even got a nice bonus as we were preparing to leave, maybe the owner/manager, came by our table and asked if we wanted additional soup to take home. We were grateful that the wonderful addition.

Andrea W.

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday evening around 5PM. There was a sign on the door saying covid vaccination proof needs to be shown, and once I got it and went inside, I was told that I needed a mask. I don't understand why masks are necessary for indoor dining since I'm going to take it off to eat. One of the waitresses explained that one of the chefs is older and another person working there has a weaker immune system, so they have an extra layer of precautions. I thought perhaps the restaurant should just not have indoor dining, but that's up to them. In any case, I was asked if I wanted a paper menu or to scan the QR code for the menu, and I opted for the former. The lunch menu was on there even though lunch is open only during the weekdays (Mon-Thurs). Anyway, I wanted the kao soi with wide rice noodles but was told the egg noodles are fried so the noodles couldn't get switched out; I was pretty confused about that - the egg noodles in the soup are fried? I decided to go for the green boat which was green curry with noodles, and I asked for wide rice noodles instead of rice stick noodles; this substitution was no problem. I got it with tofu and spicy level 4 (hot). The food came out pretty quickly, and the food was pretty flavorful. The green curry was good, and the spiciness was actually present. I didn't like the amount of ginger in the food, and I picked out all of the ginger from it. The noodles were a bit overcooked as they were a bit too soft and stuck together, and it was soft tofu instead of fried tofu. There was a good amount of vegetables and food in general, and we sat there for a while even after paying. I was pretty thirsty after eating the food, not sure whether MSG or thirsty for another reason. Food was about $15 post-tax, which was good for the portions. Teetering between 3 and 4 stars for the food, but don't really have a strong reason to give 4 so 3 it is.

Lesli S.

Yelp
I miss the old Noodle Boat. Quality has definitely gone downhill with new ownership. Ordered takeout and the order was correct, the staff were friendly. The interior is pretty sad...zero ambiance and really run down. Very skimpy on the proteins and the food was just okay. It just wasn't as good as I remember and I will order from another Thai restaurant in the future.

Randi S.

Yelp
I feel bad leaving poor reviews and try not to unless I find it necessary, but I am going to comment based on others' reviews as well as similar experiences here. My husband and I got food poisoning here from eating fresh salads and have been sick with GI symptoms for 5 days now. Not sure if the lettuce and other ingredients that are not cooked were cross contaminated with something. Our son who ate a cooked dish did not get sick, thank goodness. I tried his peanut sauce dish and was not impressed with the flavor of the peanut sauce or the consistency. We will stick to our usual down the street which has way better taste and quality.

Courtney L.

Yelp
One step inside this small eccentric restaurant and you'll feel as if you've been transported to a shrine in Thailand! Traditional figurines and antiques adorn the shelves while lovely red fabric drapes over the chairs and hangs from the windows. I even heard once that the family who owns this restaurant travels to Thailand every Summer and returns with fresh spices.... Although not a confirmed fact, I have no doubts after tasting their delectable dishes. This is as real as it gets! Three of us arrived for an early Saturday dinner shortly after 5:00P, and as expected, quite a few tables were already occupied. Arrive any later than 5:30P, and there could be a wait. After a browse of the extensive menu, we ordered a couple classic dishes and tried one of their specials for something new. Similar to other Thai eateries, essentially all the dishes can be customized based on your choice of protein and level of spiciness. Keep in mind that they take spice seriously here - you will feel the heat! We ultimately decided on Panang Curry, Pad Kee Mao, Thai Basil and one of their special dishes known as Red Cheek, all of which were aromatic and delicious. Intrigued by the name "Red Cheek", we gave it a try since it's something we've never seen elsewhere. Along with our choice of chicken, it was combined with vegetables and cashews in a red chili sauce. It was a little tangy with slight notes of sweetness - overall pretty tasty, but I sadly didn't love it. My favorite dish of the night was the Pad Kee Mao since I can never resist the perfectly chewy wide rice noodles! The Thai Basil dish was also delicious which we ordered with beef (tossed with mushrooms, onions, green peppers and fresh basil). The basil added a ton of flavor, starting out a little peppery with a touch of sweet. Finally, despite the heat, we really enjoyed the Panang Curry; the coconut milk gave the sauce a smooth creamy consistency. This was the only dish we ordered at a medium spice level (2 stars) and we definitely felt the burn! I appreciated the perfectly cooked vegetables across all the dishes, which tasted fresh and retained their crisp texture. Unfortunately also consistent was the seemingly overcooked meat as many pieces were on the drier side and tougher than expected. If not for this, our dinner would have been essentially flawless. The waitstaff took great care of us throughout the night by stopping to check on us and keeping our waters filled. Additionally, our food was prepared in a timely manner and served all at once. Every food-tographer knows this is something to take advantage of. The clean plating and pop of bright colors from the fresh ingredients made for such a beautiful photo. The Noodle Boat has called Issaquah home ever since I can remember and for good reason! It will always be high up on my list as one of the top Thai restaurants on the Eastside for its authentic cuisine. 4.25 stars.

Yelp
Ordered food from here through Ubereats. Everything we got was bad, but I ate: Tofu Pad See Ew- broccoli barely even cooked, the tofu was just soft? not fried? the broccoli and tofu were not cooked with the noodle, barely any tofu/broccoli included. The flavor was wayyyy too sweet, seemed like they used a really basic sauce. Not sure why our food looks so different from other reviews but very disappointed.

Yelp
This used to be my favorite go to Thai food in my area. Bad news they have sold the Restaurant and AMERICANIZED it. I should have realized when there weren't chopsticks on the table. or the delightful hot tea or the amazing house Thai soup we always loved wasn't there. The food is bland and now the restaurant is peopled by local soccer moms who seem delighted by the lack of spice/flavor. They are expanded the less then average eatery without the charm and taste it once had. Peanut sauce with fresh rolls was great fresh rolls lots of veg some noodles that fell apart and shrimp that seems to be sliced 3 or 4 times too thin to taste. Its a heart breaker. Now where do I take out of towners who want great food. I won't be going back. Oh and its $2 dollars for a tea bag of the weakest Jasmine tea I've ever had.

Yelp
I used to eat there quite frequently over the past 8 years. About 4 or 5 months ago I ordered their chicken Pad Thai to go and when I got home I was very disappointed, the portion was smaller and there wasn't any rice like normal. I called and spoke with the new owner who apologized they had not updated the online menu. Today I ordered their chicken Pad Thai again, asked about the rice "prices have gone up on rice, we don't Gove rice with noodles." Their web side says lunch special includes rice and soup of the day.  they did gicw me the rice for no additional cost because I mentioned the new owner said they would. When I got home and opened the box it didn't look like any Pad Thai I've ever ordered, it was "fluffy and airy" -the American Heart Association would be excited, as would be my cardiologis, but I wanted to treat myself. The noodles different in appearance and texture-like angel haor pasta thin, portion smaller and it had maybe two small pieces of chicken. The flavor was bland and that's being generous. I also asked for a couple extra lime slices when I placed my order when  picked up the order I was assured they were in there, got home, nope. It's a shame when new owners benefit/take of the reputation and goodwill of previous owners-their food was delicious-and don't try to maintain food. The new owners have little to no transparency that a well known and respected restaurant went under new management.

Yelp
Super tasty, always hot, I dine in and take out! Clean restaurant, friendly staff! Love this Thai spot in Issaquah. Always pretty busy so call ahead 30-40 min for take out dinner, but worth it! Good size portions.
