Loved basically everything we got! Very authentic lanzhou beef noodle soup—perfect noodles and soup broth. Tastes exactly like the ones I had in Taiwan and China. Also loved the taro buns, green beans, thick noodles with chicken, Chinese hamburger, and cucumber salad. One of the best cucumber salads I’ve had at a Chinese restaurant. Everything came out super fast too! And the servers took great care of us. I didn’t think the soup dumplings were very soupy. I wouldn’t order them again. I also didn’t love the meat in them. The beef fried rice had could texture, but it wasn’t salty enough, and a little flavorless. The beef scallion pancake was liked by most everyone in the group, but I thought it was too sweet and not very true to others I’ve tried in Asia. Otherwise I think it was a fantastic choice, and would definitely come back!

Google
It’s a funny story about how we discovered the Noodle Dynasty. One day, I was searching for Noodle or Chinese restaurants in Google Maps. The Noodle Dynasty popped up. One of the review was caught my eyes, which said that noodle was too long and chewy, it needs scissors to cut them. ‘Damn, that’s exactly the kind of handmade noodles we have been looking for in US.’ I immediately told my husband that we needed to make a trip to Beaverton. After our first visit, we went back again and again. We love that handmade long, flavorful and chewy texture noodles. Our friends also liked it after we recommended. Plus, they have two big round tables, perfect for family or groups to enjoy a great meal together.

Google
Incredible food! We got the Beef Noodle Soup and Spicy Pork Stir Fry, it came out very quickly and was absolutely delicious. Noodles are as good as they claim, and the soup broth is my favorite bone broth I’ve had! Service was fast and attentive.

Google
Delicious food! Fast service. Sizeable portions. Big menu. Recommend the hand pulled braided beef noodle soup, hand pulled spicy chicken noodles, and green beans. Was not a fan of the soup dumplings. Would come back to try their other soups!

Google
The food was AMAZING. Everything was just so flavorful and the price was a lot cheaper than expected compared to other places. Very high quality food and the staff was super kind, always checking up on us. Service is amazing as well as the food!!!

Google
Tried this place out this weekend and it blew us away! The staff is very friendly and they walked us through how to order with the QR code menu. The food was so incredibly good. Full of flavor and incredibly fresh. The hand made noodles are honestly the best I have ever had! We will be back to try out more of the menu! UPDATE: We went back … and it was equally as good as the first time we went!

Google
This is a solid 4 stars. Green beans were SO good. Beef noodle soup and spicy trip noodles were a tad lacking in seasoning but the noodles themselves were very QQ and delicious. Wasn't a fan of the amount of celery (usually it's some sort of choy?) in the dry noodle dish but maybe I just don't like celery. I like the clean environment and modern atmosphere - could be good for a work lunch or dinner. Not a huge fan of the iPad ordering but it's not uncommon at these kind of new-generation Chinese restaurants.

Google
Yum! Looking for a great low key dining experience with a large variety of dishes, you’ve found it at Noodle Dynasty. Not just noodles either. We were excited to order some dim sum including lamb skewers, pot stickers, shrimp dumplings. Reasonable prices with most dishes around $15. Staff is super friendly. Tons of space. Great place to go with a group or even if you’re dining alone. Good came out so quickly and noodles are made to order. Glad to have a new yummy Asian restaurant in the Beaverton area.

Yelp
Noodle Dynasty is fantastic neighborhood caliber Chinese restaurant. I was really fortunate to have seen their ad awhile back on Instagram that allowed me to purchase $1000 dollars worth of gift certificates for only $500. Despite never being here before and despite living on the Eastside I trusted my fellow Yelpers and took a leap of faith and blind purchased the gift card that is attached to my phone number...so no hanging onto a physical card that I might forget or lose. The ordering is great...you can order ahead online through their site or scan a QR code at your table to get a detailed description of the menu item along with a photo and the kitchen here is lightning quick. I've honestly gotten my food in under 4 minutes before which is wild considering how many others were in the restaurant. Portions and prices all reflect a solid value before my 50% discount from the gc promotion. They hand make a lot of the noodle dishes and soups are made from scratch and are solid but not necessarily the best versions in town. I've worked through maybe 1/3 of the menu and items have been a B to A- with many things in the B+ range. The bbq cumin lamb skewers are a solid dish and a great value with 2 generous skewers at $6...I've had better but they are not all too common in Portland and they scratch the itch for when I get nostalgic for Beijing. Noodle dishes both stir fry and soup are probably the main reason I come here and can fill up a big eater or enough for leftovers for someone less hungry. I tend to dine here alone since it's so far from home but this place definitely lends itself well to having 1-3 dining partners to sample multiple things if you're doing family style. With the closure of Taste of Sichuan, Noodle Dynasty does a good job at filling in the gap for Chinese food for me on the Westside even tho ToS still remains the goat for me.

Yelp
Came in with plenty of seating on a Sunday night. I have never been here but there is very little interaction with employees. To view the menu, you scan the code on the table and order from it as well. The convenience is, you don't have to wait for a check since you put in the order yourself. They bring your food out and that's it! Easy peasy. Now the amount of food for the price is...crazy. I ordered the spicy braised pork with fat noodles and it didn't even look like I made a dent. The pork was great and the noodles were more chewy but I enjoyed it. Wife ordered medium noodles with veggies and it was delicious. The sauce was sweet and had good flavor. She also ordered an alcoholic beverage and she said it was great, not overpowering with alcohol. The interaction that did occur with the employees was nice, they are very polite and the place was pretty clean. They also have a bar with 3 big flat screens so there was plenty of entertainment.

Yelp
We've all heard of the baseball saying, 3 strikes and you're out. Well, Noodle Dynasty almost struck out with two failed attempted to make the right dish! Using the QR code on the table, I ordered the Dan Dan noodles. My wife was intrigued by the ingredients in the spicy beef noodle soup, though she's never been a fan of spicy food. To our surprise, the online ordering system allowed her to customize the dish by removing the spiciness, so she ordered it with wide flat noodles. My Dan Dan noodles came out first. They had a bit of a kick--not overly spicy, but with that signature numbing flavor from Sichuan peppercorns. When my wife's order arrived, she took one sip of the broth and immediately tasted the heat, even though she had specifically selected "no spicy." The waiter took it back, and within five minutes returned with what they said was a corrected version--but this time, it came with thin noodles instead of the wide ones she requested. We asked to speak to the manager and explained the situation. She told us that removing the spice from that dish wasn't actually possible. We showed her our order confirmation, which clearly stated "no spicy," and she acknowledged the issue. She assured us the next version would be right. A short while later, she returned with a third attempt, which she claimed matched the order exactly. But this time, the noodles were all over the place--some were thin, and others were wider than the width of the fork. That kind of inconsistency wasn't even present in my mother-in-law's Lanzhou hand-pulled beef noodle soup, which also uses wide flat noodles--and we've never encountered this issue on previous visits. To her credit, the manager did remove the cost of my wife's dish, but the experience left a bad taste overall. I don't plan to return unless it's for a special occasion.

Yelp
Ordered via QR code or on iPad so annoying. Helpful waiter guide use through ordering on his iPad. We had bbque pork boa, lamb swerker, shredded pork and hand pulled noodle egg and jalapeño scramble. The lamb skewers were not that good just okay. The jalapeño/egg noodle was good. I think the jalapeño were actually Serranos. I would have liked more egg. The two best dishes were the bbque pork boa and the shredded pork. Good sized portions. Normal people would have leftovers but my skinny husband eats for three people!

Yelp
I got the lanzhou hand pull beef noodle soup with flat noodles and a green onion pancake. The noodle soup was very comforting and had good flavor. I really like the texture of the noodles and how you can chose what size you want. The broth was a bit salty but I think that might be a bit more of a personal preference thing. As for the green onion pancake, it was pretty good. Honestly I felt it was middle of the road not the best I've had but far from the worst. I took this meal to go since I was in a rush, but they completed my order pretty quickly. The restaurant was pretty relaxed and definitely a good place to sit down and eat with family friends.
google avatar

Clare L.

Yelp
Pretty average overall. The seating and tables felt sticky. The noodles lacked that chewy, bouncy texture you'd expect from fresh hand-pulled Chinese noodles
google avatar

Evey I.

Yelp
Some of the food was good and some were ok. I probably wouldn't go again if I wasn't near. Partly because the food experience was also sub par. The QR ordering is annoying. We sat there for a while waiting for a server. Apparently we have to use their online ordering system. Next we will wash our dishes?

Yelp
Finally got to try noodle dynasty and it lives up to the hype. There are a wide selection of food options including dim sum and you order from a QR code menu. We went during lunch time where they also offered lunch specials. For the noodle dishes, they give you different choices of how you want your noodles whether thin, medium, thick, or flat! We got the spicy pork noodle dish and spicy beef noodle soup. Great flavors and noodles were cooked perfectly. You can tell it's hand made and fresh. Portions here are big! We also tried the Orange chicken lunch special and it was ok, a little lack in flavor. Staffs were pleasant and food came out fast. The area is spacious and with lots of seatings. I can't wait to come back and try their other dishes
google avatar

Michael C. K.

Yelp
Checked this place out for lunch and seems the new business took over and left the architecture. Still looks like saloon but other than that the food was very good. Very authentic flavors and will come back. The dim sum dishes were great and the spicy fish was amazing!

Yelp
Finally had a chance to try this trending hand pulled noodles restaurant. I got the Lanzhou Hand Pulled Beef Noodle Soup but forgot to take a picture... Broth and beef was amazing taste. The flat wide noodles are ridiculously wide. An experience on their own lol. I wouldn't get these noodles every time but once in a while. Braised beef noodle soup was very good. Lamb skewers were a nice appetizer. Menu is online site and order, pretty decent setup. Gotta come back to try th other noodles

Yelp
I'm a big soup person and there aren't too many Chinese soup noodles places in Beaverton so this is definitely a top favorite and a regular place for me. They are known for their hand pulled Lanzhou noodles varying in size. See pictures, unlike my friends who prefer thinner noodles I love ordering my beef noodle soup with WIDE FLAT noodles. If you like doughy noodles this is the noodle choice for you. Besides their noodles I love a good broth as well and the beef noodle soup is mild but very flavorful. The soup is topped with cilantro so if you don't like that it might not be the soup for you. I have been here a number of times and tried a majority of the sides. My favorite go to one is the fried green beans. This time I tried lamb skewers and they were fantastic! Will definitely reorder. The service here is self order on your phone and the food comes out immediately no matter how busy it is. The staff here is so friendly and kind each time.

Yelp
I went to eat with a group of people so I was able to try many things but apologies if I don't remember the specific names. First off, the service was very nice, they kept checking on us with napkins and water, too. We ordered: 1. A chicken appetizer. It was not bad, a tad spicy for me so I think for everyone else it'll be okay. 2. Duck appetizer. The meat was on the drier side but the flavor was very nice! 3. "lvl 2" thickness braised beef noodle soup. I had this multiple times and still good and consistent! 4. We ordered the same thing but "lvl 7" or so with thickness. A little bit was nice but thick noodles make me full too quickly. 5. We got the "patty" with meat and veggies inside. The outside was probably fried and it was really nice...if you like cilantro (sorry, I don't but others enjoyed it haha) 6. We ordered a bing with some cilantro but not as heavy so I was able to manage it after taking some out (sorry!) The meat was really good and I liked the texture of the bing. 7. The salt and pepper fried fish filet was my favorite! Super flavorful but not too salty or spicy. It would go well with rice. I enjoyed this very much and we encored it after eating the first plate haha. I think the portions are reasonable to share, too. I would come back again!

Yelp
Tried Noodle Dynasty at a coworkers suggestion. I tried the braised beef noodle soup, and the flavor was amazing! The portion sizes are HUGE, so I only ate about half of my bowl. Thankfully my coworker told me that you scan the QR code on the table to order, or I would've been confused when we sat down. Also, I wish there was an explanation about the different noodle options. You have to pick the kind of noodles you want without really KNOWING what they look like. Otherwise, awesome food!

Yelp
I came here after a gym session with my boyfriend and were super excited to try it. The inside of the restaurant is quite spacious and there's a lot of staff. You order from a QR code on your phone and staff brings it out. The service is pretty quick. We ordered braised beef noodles, lamb skewers, wontons, xiao long bao, and a Chinese pork burger. Everything was delicious, but I wish there was just a LITTLE bit more flavor (or maybe some chili oil on the side would have done the trick). Nonetheless, I still enjoyed everything I got and would love to come back to try more of their items.
google avatar

Yelp
I don't live nearby so we felt that we needed to order many things to make it worth the drive. We ordered: sliced beef roll (the favorite dish) golden buns, pork boa, shrimp dumplings, and spicy beef flat noodle. Service was prompt and the restaurant was very clean. All the food we ordered was delicious and big portions. We ate until we were satisfied and had leftovers that fed my husband and ourselves later that evening.
google avatar

Yelp
Y U M M M I stopped by for dinner on a weekday and ordered two dishes: Fried Red Chili flakes Noodles with ground meat and Lanzhou Hand Pull Beef Noodle Soup. It was so good that we slurped up everything. The star of the show here really is the noodles. They're fresh, chewy and go well with everything. They're also quite long, which is why scissors are provided.
google avatar

Mikhail H.

Yelp
I was able to go in special when they first opened and try them out. I was all set to just run in, grab some noodles to go to try later and leave. I was 'schooled' and am so grateful. You need to go in with friends order a bunch and eat there. Your leftovers will be amazing but give those amazing noodles some major well deserved bites when they are delivered to your table fresh. I am genuinely not a huge noodle person.... Or, I wasn't before I came here that first time. I now crave these. My order is getting their medium thin noodles with pork belly and bok choy plus some onion pancake. I cannot imagine anything you order not being delicious.

Yelp
We've visited Noodle Dynasty twice. The first time was on a Thursday afternoon. There were two guys working the dining room that day and they were efficient. The food was also great that day, particularly the vegetable fried rice. It was very flavorful and I enjoyed every bite! The second time we visited was on a Friday afternoon. That day there were two ladies and a guy working the dining area along with one guy in street clothes behind the bar. Things were not running nearly as efficient as the first time. The food we received was also not as good as the previous visit. The vegetable fried rice was bland and mushy. The green onion pancake was very oily and broken in pieces. So it seems that consistency is the issue here. Hopefully, as time goes by things will straighten out. Whoever cooked our food on that Thursday needs to train the other cooks to copy him exactly.

Yelp
Hand-pulled noodles have quickly become a favorite in our household. From soupy to dry spice, we've enjoyed the variety of dishes that are available. We tried the following at Noodle Dynasty: - Shumai - Fried Red Chili Flake Noodles with Ground Pork - Sliced Beef Pancake Roll - Spicy Braised Pork Flat Noodle - This was the favorite of the group! - Sliced Pork Ear - Sauerkraut Bamboo Shoot Noodles - I can see this being a hit-or-miss depending on your taste preferences I appreciated that you can make all sorts of specifications to each dish, from the noodle width to the amount of sodium. Everything is ordered by QR code which makes it easy and quick, allowing visitors to add on items even through the meal. Definitely a filling meal, we'll be back to try more of their menu!

Yelp
Super legit and delicious place! I went twice in a week and I will go back often. The offering includes a large variety of noodles, soups, and meets. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious. The price is on point. Service is good for the kind of restaurant. They have a lot of space, which makes dining quite enjoyable. A great place!

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. The cold cucumber salad is fantastic. The hand pulled noodles with any of the meats is incredible. If you can do spicy, definitely lean into it. The fried fish fillets are great too. The one thing that is not 100% is the scallion pancakes which is a bummer--- they are still good though, just not the same level as the rest of the food. This is the most traditional Chinese restaurant I have found in Portland and we can't get enough.
google avatar

Yelp
Atmosphere: Nice, modern atmosphere with TV's. Would have liked if one of the TV's had sports on though. Food: Food was great. Enjoyed the Beef Noodle dish and would love to try the soup. Noodles were cooked perfectly Price: Price is reasonable for what it is. Service: Service was okay. One of the servers was very helpful, the other not as much. Parking: Parking lot with easy parking

Yelp
First time here since the name changed. Still unsure whether it's under new ownership, or whether the old just revamped and renamed. Either way, we used to enjoy Tang so decided to give it a try. We noticed the inside has definitely undergone change (although we were just there to grab our take-out). The menu has changed as well, but most of our favs were still available. Although all 3 dishes (broccoli chicken, Mongolian beef, sesame chicken) tasted and looked different, all 3 had lots of flavor. Biggest notes: the beef was a bit spicier and the sesame chicken was a bit sweeter. While I might've enjoyed the dishes slightly more before, we still really enjoyed our dinner enough to go back and look forward to trying more from the new menu.

Yelp
Wow! What a gem. My only regret is not coming here earlier, but better late than never. We tried two noodle dishes (braised beef noodle soup and stir fry wide noodle with braised pork) and a Chinese pork hamburger. The noodles here are handmade, and have the perfect "Q" texture. The flavors here are so authentic, and I appreciated the noodle soup broth was not overly salty. The spicy stir fried wide noodles is a complex spice, not the kind that's just spicy and numbs your mouth, but there's a lot of depth to the flavor. The service here is fantastic as well. You scan a QR code on your table to get access to the menu as well as to order, so it's super convenient. We were checked on multiple times and our water was always filled. I will definitely be coming back again to try the other dishes, but I know I will be getting another stir fried wide rice noodle! So good!
google avatar

Judy L.

Yelp
Noodle Dynasty is great! My partner and I always have a great time trying their various dishes and different types of noodle. We've loved 90% of the items we've tried but we liked every single one. My favorite has to be their tomato and egg noodle dish! Lethal combo! The service is awesome, we love ordering from the app and staff has always checked in on us. The ambiance is wonderful too. Love how there is plentiful seating AND parking.
google avatar

Devin R.

Yelp
The service is very fast here! The spicy beef soup and hand pulled noodles are flavorful and big portions.
google avatar

Timothy L.

Yelp
I am happy that there is now one more option for northern Chinese noodle dishes around Portland and this spot was pretty good! We got the Lanzhou handpulled beef noodle soup and the spicy stir fry beef noodles. I enjoyed both options I tried but I would say the Lanzhou handpulled beef noodle soup was my favorite.
google avatar

Yelp
I had somehow mentioned this place to a friend before I even tried it and she LOVED it and insisted we all go together! We stopped in on a Monday night and it got pretty busy. You order from a QR code on the table, which can be a little confusing, but I appreciated seeing pictures of everything. We definitely over ordered, the portion sizes are BIG, but we loved everything. The move here is the hand made noodles and in my opinion the best thing we had was the beef noodle soup with medium noodles. The broth was insane! I took one sip and immediately moved the bowl in front of me. The noodles were perfect and the beef was tender. I am going back for this! We also tried some spicy noodles with pork ribs, the ribs were favorites of a lot of people at the table. The fried rice was GIANT and so good, lots of flavor and vegetables. The sesame chicken was also good with that sticky thick sauce, a HUGE portion that we somehow ended up finishing. My daughter also tried some of their dim sum offerings like XLB, green onion pancake, and some gyoza, all of which she loved. The service is a little spotty, we had to flag someone down for a box and the check and they didn't really check on us, but they were still super nice. It seems you can't go wrong here, but the noodle soup is what will keep me coming back.
google avatar

Yelp

Yelp
Packed on the weekend, expect a long wait during peak lunch. Tiny waiting area at the entrance, so you will be shuffled around to allow the staff through. New furniture, nice bar top with a tv for the single or couple. Food took so long to come out, 30 minutes. Without any attentive table service to order more drinks, the wait was annoying. So loud cause of the crowd. Noodles ~ chewy, good texture. It is pretty much one or two long pieces that makes the social media appeal. Beef broth lukewarm.

Yelp
I think I came once before when it was Tang Dynasty; not quite sure when it changed over. My wife and I were craving noodles and were both surprised to see that this location had changed. We decided to give it a shot and it didn't disappoint. Service was fast! We were on something of a time crunch but we were still in and out in around 30 minutes. The food was good. Their pot stickers, didn't feel frozen and the dough had just the right consistency of chewiness. Noodles I had the General Zhao's chicken, which I think was a mistake. The noodles themselves were fantastic, definitely hand-pulled; and the portion of chicken was great. The sauce however was definitely too sweet for me and could've used a little more heat in my opinion. That being said I will certainly be back to try some of their other dishes, especially the spicy beef noodles!

Yelp
Went here for dinner with my Husby and ordered the following: -Sesame Chicken -- 3.5 -Dan Dan Noodle -- 4 -Pork Xiao Long Bao --5 -Dry Fry String Bean -- 3 The portions were just right and everything came out pretty fast. The soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) were my favorite which I think you can't go wrong when ordering dim sum here. The Dan Dan Noodle was also really delicious and you could tell the difference with the hand pulled noodles, good texture and was fresh. If you like soup with a spicy kick, this would be the perfect dish as it has Sichuan pepper. The Sesame Chicken was too sweet for my preference and wish the chicken was a bit more crispier, but it was okay. Last but not least, the Dry Fry String Bean was a little bland, but added a bit of soy sauce to give it some umami. Overall, it was. a good experience and will be back to try out more of their hand pulled noodle dishes.
google avatar

Megan Y.

Yelp
I don't really understand the hype with this place... I tried the dan dan noodles and the pork belly noodles, both with wide flat noodles. I've had dan dan noodles at other places and have never had it served in soup, which was weird. The pork belly dish was inedible to me and I stopped eating it after a few bites. The noodles were all stuck together and so hard to eat. Maybe I ordered the wrong things?? If I ever did decide to try this place again I'd try the beef noodle soup since people seem to enjoy this dish. The one thing I did like was the green onion pancake appetizer lol
google avatar

Adam P.

Yelp
This place was great! Any place that hand makes their noodles and does it well, sign me up! The food was fresh and hot. The service was immediate and attentive and the interior space is beautiful, but deceiving from the outdoors. From outside it looks like another strip mall restaurant. Definitely not! Ordered the Dan dan noodle with wide noodles and the shrimp and pork shumai. Also ordered the pan fried dumplings to go along with the pork belly and noodles. Everything was amazing! Also I don't generally like online ordering when there is so much staff, but theirs is a nice hybrid setup and you still interact often with the staff.
google avatar

Yelp
So authentic that I'm surprised this place is tucked away in a random shopping plaza. Ordered takeout, and my 6dishes were done in about 15minutes. Wish the digital/ipad menu described the dishes more. The sautéed shredded potatoes (not the appetizer) are a home-style dish that I can rarely find in restaurants so that was great.

Yelp
A noodle paradise with many types of noodle to choose from for all their noodle dishes. They got soup, stir fry, and cold noodles. They also offer some more classics options like fried rice, dumplings, and stir fry. We went on a week night and it's easy to get a table, fortunately. The space was pretty big and staffs were friendly, checking in frequently on food and water. We all got our own noodles dish and split a few sides like the Beef Pancake Roll (lowkey the best item of the night!), Mochi, Lamb Skewers, and Eggplant & Stringbean Stirfry. The Beef Pancake Roll was nice and crispy. You can tell they made the pancake fresh. I loved the ratio of filling to the pancake. Their sauce was also very tasty. The Stirfry was also delicious. Flavorful and smokey. The Skewers were decently tender and spiced. Personally, not a big fan of the Mochi. To the noodles, I got the Spicy Spareribs Stir Noodles with Wide Flat Noodles. The noodles were real thick and chewy, which is how I like them. The two big pieces of spareribs were tender, which there was a few more though. Portion was good with lots of noodles, could easily split an order between two. Would be back to try other noodly creations of theirs!

Yelp
Came in right at 4:30 PM and was quickly seated. Scannable menu on the table where you are able to place your order on their website. I found it super efficient as we had a party of 5, waiting for the rest of our party to get to the restaurant, they were able to order while en route. The portions were dinner/family sized and did not disappoint. All chicken dishes were good. The breading was crispy which was a plus, especially when you have enough food for left overs. The noodles were fresh and chewy, cooked to perfection. I don't think there is one dish I didn't like. I'm looking forward to trying other plates next time I go. Highly encourage to get their early as the dinner rush definitely picks up s/o to tiktok for the find

Yelp
We came when the restaurant opened at 11AM on a Saturday and was seated immediately. We scanned the menu QR code and were able to make our order online. The food came out orderly and we were able to enjoy the food. My favorite dish is the deep fried pork chop. It was so crunchy and flavorful. Another favorite is the Lanzhou hand pull beef noodle soup. The broth was so clean and tasty. We will definitely come back again in the near future to try some of the other dishes that we didn't get to try this time. By the time we were done, we realized that the entire restaurant was pack. This location is very popular. If you want a seat, remember to come early.

Yelp
The wait wasn't too bad being only about 30 mins. When we got seated we were able to order quick with the QR code. Food came pretty quickly but they didn't bring my wife's noodle dish till like 35 mins later and we had to keep going and asking. The braised beef noodle soup was pretty good. The semi-thick noodles were pretty hard but the broth was savory. The meat was alittle tough. The beef rolls were good but the tray it was in was pretty large but not that big a deal. The pork skewers were really good. A lot of szeuchwanny seasoning and it wasn't too spicy so our group could all handle well.

Yelp
Once upon a time, this was Tang Dynasty... A place I visited a few times, but never was my 'go-to' for Chinese food. But forget the fairy-tale, they're hand pullin' noodles now! A place I've already tried three times and I plan to frequent! Here's a bit about Noodle Dynasty: = Parking / Dining / Atmosphere / Service = Plenty of parking spaces as they're located in a big parking lot, close to Petco. Dining hasn't changed much. Their tables, chopsticks, dishes, and utensils have appeared clean for the most part since visiting. The vibe still felt the same, as it was when it was Tang. If they're busy, it can get pretty loud. Definitely family friendly, I'd say. They've got a nice long bar which also gives plenty of space to eat, relax at, and watch a game. Regarding service, the staff have been quite helpful, but also forgetful at times. Though, no major issues. = Noodles, Dim Sum & More = If it's your first time here, obviously, you've got to try any soup bowl or dish of their fresh "hand-pulled noodles." They've got a QR code on the table for ordering, and I love the fact that when ordering there's an option for what style/type of noodle you'd like the noodles to be pulled; Angel-hair thin, medium thin, wide, or wide flat, or even thin flat. To me that adds a little fun in ordering. Here's a few dishes we've tried: * Soup Bowls * ~ Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup ($15.99) - Quite a tasty bowl. The broth was well balanced. ~ Dan Dan Noodles ($15.99) - Not the usual dry dan dan noodles that I'm use to, but also a decent tasting bowl. ~ Braised Beef Noodle Soup ($15.99) - Tender chunks of beef. Loved the broth as well. ~ Dry Mixed Noodles w/ Scallion ($14.99) - Was OK. You can definitely get a good taste of the noodle texture. I had to add more chili oil. * Appetizers * ~ Lamb Skewers ($5.99) - Prepare your napkin for this one. ~ Dim Sum - Shrimp Dumplings (4pc, $6.99) - Winner x 4! ~ Barbecue Pork Bao ($6.99) - Another winner, but it'll fill you up! * Other Dishes * ~ Spicy Fish Fillets ($16.99) - Loved it! One of my favorite favorite dishes. ~ Salt & Pepper Fish Filet ($16.99) - Saved some for leftovers! Can't wait to try the pork chop version next time. ~ Beef w/ String Beans ($16.99) - They fry their string beans well! We even liked it without beef. Try their Dry-Fry string beans as well. ~ Honey Walnut Prawns ($18.99) - Not what we expected. Honestly, we've had better at other Chinese restaurants. I think it's the starch. ~ Combination Fried Rice ($14.99) - Eh, (surprisingly) we did not enjoy this one either. Again, just go for the noodle dishes. * Cocktail Drinks * ~ French 75 ($10) - Luscious! ~ Lychee Lemon Drop ($12) - Refreshing! In the end, they are a bit pricey, but they pull some mean enjoyable noodles! We'll no doubt be back!

Yelp
Not a great experience and the food was not as appetizing as the photos. Read reviews before ordering! It was our first time there today and we were seated and served water but no one told us that we ordered ourselves via the QR code on the table. I thought it was just where we viewed the menu. The food comes out as it's done being prepared and so I finished eating my food before my husband's meal even came out. I got the pork belly topping noodles which looked like is going to be served with soup and there was just a small puddle at the bottom of the bowl. The pork belly was soft and very fatty, I only ate about 1/2 of the meat that was served. The flavor was just okay. I added a lot of the chili oil that was on the table to add more flavor and spice to my dish. Also, I got the flat wide noodles and I'd probably go with the flat noodles or skinnier next time because the wide noodles were hard to pull apart to eat (it seemed like after the noodles were boiled, they sat for a while before being served so they were stuck to each other). We had to ask 3 different people for to-go containers and when we got them, the lady had just finished cleaning two tables with gloves on and then grabbed our container with the same gloves and handed it to us (which had a smear of oil on the outside... from other people's food!) Not entirely sure if we're going to go back. The taste of the noodles were good so I'd probably order to-go? But definitely not the pork belly again.

Yelp
I never got around to trying this place when it was Tang Dynasty, but we had to come for the hand-pulled noodles! There's an electronic waitlist to check in on when you arrive. There is really minimal staff interaction here. After you are seated, you are left to your own devices to order via QR menu, which just lists dish names with a picture without descriptions. The waitress did bring out waters to the table without our having to ask for it. Sliced pork ear with onion and cilantro: 4/5 I'd prefer either thinner slices or slightly more cooked/softer. Good flavor with a little kick. Dry dry string bean: 3.5/5 a lot of the beans were too mature with slightly tough beans and/or tough strings left on them. The dish was cooked well and seasoned nicely with garlic, and it is not spicy despite the presence of peppers (although we didn't eat the actual peppers ) Diced pork with eggplant stir noodle: 4.5/5 The hand-pulled noodles had a nice chewy bounce, and the flavors were good. Spicy beef flat noodles: 4/5 The chewy large cut noodles were fun to eat. This dish also has a kick. The strange thing is that you can't pay online. We ended up just going to the bar to pay. It's clean and updated, but a bit drafty (by the door, at least). The noodles are, fittingly, where this place shines! We'll be back to try more noodle dishes, including their Lanzhou noodles! If you can deal with lack of service, the food is worth a try!

Yelp
Has the newness worn off yet? Not yet! This place was poppin even near closing time. I enjoy that kind of lively atmosphere. You order thru a QR code that's on your table FYI, I know some people don't like that method but I find it really convenient and you don't have to wait for a server to take your order. You can't pay the bill on the phone though, which was a bit odd. Food comes out super quick, be prepared for that! The lanzhou noodles features a 6 hour broth with 28(!) spices. Definite hit and the noodles had a great chew to it. The lamb skewers were tasty but arrived cold, not sure if that's intentional. Pass on the onion pancake, hardly any spring onions. The spicy beef soup comes with fried tofu and egg, which was a nice surprise but the broth was lacking. My partner thought the broths felt watered down compared with the last time he ate here.

Yelp
A friend kept raving about this wide noodle dish he had at the Noodle Dynasty, and it took us no time to check it out for ourselves. This location used to be Tang Dynasty, but they have transitioned to serving hand stretched noodles, which I'm not mad about. I ordered the beef noodle soup with the extra wide noodles, while my fiance got the Lanzhou beef noodle soup with the thinner noodles. We both liked our dishes but I like his broth better. My dish had a soy sauce base broth and it lacked depth, while his broth was full of flavor from the Chinese herbs. However, I did really enjoy the extra wide noodles. Next time I'm either getting the Lanzhou beef noodle soup with extra wide noodles, or some stir fried extra wide noodle dishes. All in all, we would recommend the place.

Yelp
Got take out from here! They open at 11am and the order was ready by 11:30am. The Lanzhou noodle soup was slightly bland without the spice but still very good. Loved the texture of the hand pulled noodles. The spicy pork rib noodle soup wasn't too spicy either. Definitely excited to come back and try the rest of the menu!

Yelp
Heard a lot about this place and there aren't any Chinese restaurants that specialize in hand pulled noodles on this side of town. The restaurant was very busy, so there was at least a 30 minute wait to get seated. Ordering at the table was simple as you scan the QR code and place your order on the virtual tab. We got a few appetizers and each of us ordered a noodle dish. I liked the Cucumber Salad and the Sliced Beef Pancake Rolls, both had great seasoning and the rolls were cooked well. I really wanted to like the Fry Lamb Skewers but the meat was a bit tough for me, otherwise the dry seasoning was great, it packs that cumin punch. I also wanted to like the Lanzhou Hand Pull Beef Noodle Soup. I got it with the Medium Thin noodle, so the texture was slightly too chewy. The broth was clean but wasn't incredibly flavorful. I would want to try it again with the Wide Flat noodle. Overall it's worth a try, the menu is vast so there's bound to be some great menu items you will enjoy!

Yelp
This is an LA strip mall meets west side PDX suburbia style place. Service is suspect, it's fast and furious, the lines can get crazy because it has a following but gosh darn it, the experience is unique for the area. That's what my first impressions of noodle dynasty were. There's a waitlist system, but after five minutes and visibly two empty tables, they didn't bother to even look at the waitlist, and ask me how many people were from my party. All good, we got seated and immediately jumped on their portal via QR code. I had a feeling the cuisine would be fairly good, because there were grammatical and spelling mistakes littered in the English section of the portal. We went for the Lanzhou, the braised beef and the pork belly along with shrimp dumpling and golden buns. The items I would order again would be the braised beef noodle and the golden buns. Lanzhou was fine and tasted similar to the rendition at Frank's Noodle House... which has a solid radish base. The pork belly, however while super soft and tender had a sauce that was sweeter than my liking. Now to the noodle selection... if you value volume and bang for the buck, I would stick to the thinner noodles... simply because it was apparent to me, the flat and wider noodles, while tasty and ample, creates a lot more empty space when put in a noodle ladle for cooking. As result, the higher volume that you get are through the thinner noodles. The Lanzhou was packed... whereas the pork belly order was less... again ample, just not the best bang for buck. The shrimp dumpling I knew would be a yawn and it was... good, not great, not enough shrimp and bamboo shoot flavors, way too thick dumpling wrap. The golden buns however are a hit... simple, deep fried goodness with condensed milk on the side. They deep fry them well here... you'll be addicted if you like deep-fried donuts of any type. Oh and we did order the orange chicken as takeout for a family member... when we tried it at home while the orange flavors were there, they were "fleeting"... didn't linger, didn't give any umami depth. I wouldn't get this one again personally. The uniqueness, some flavors, speed, variety and competitive cost for a bowl of noodles will have folks returning often. If nothing else, the golden buns will hook you.

SEATING: it's a pretty big space w lots of tables/seats available! AMBIANCE/VIBE: casual & simple. SERVICE: very friendly staff! they were so appreciative that we were there & had a short convo with them! so cute!! PRICE: $$, paid about $25 total (entree + side/appetizer that I split with someone + tip). pretty standard for eating out & was worth it!

Yelp
We noticed the new sign and got super excited! We were not the only ones. There was a crowd at the door. We signed in at a little computer and there were 4 groups ahead of us. Short wait, our group of 5 was seated within 10 minutes. Place your order on your phone via QR code. Great selection of hand pulled noodles, appetizers, and other stir fried items. Big portions and easy to share. There were some tables that ordered something that looks like a trough but is a grill. It looked super fun! 5 stars on all our dishes: Braised Beef Soup Noodles, Pork Belly Topping noodles, Soicy Beef flat noodles, Pork Xiao Long Bao, Pork and Cabbage Pan-Fried Dumpling, and Lanzhou Hand Pull Beef Noodle Soup is mild for the kids. The tvs had women's college basketball and a comedy movie on in the bar. Atmosphere was casual fun loud. We'll be back!
