"The “house noodle soup” at this tiny spot is actually boat noodles, rich from blood in the broth. Among the other dishes are hits like tom yum, pink-colored yen ta fo, excellent pad kee mao, and delectable chicken with panang curry sauce. Prices are elatively low, and the spice levels are satisfyingly high." - Eater Staff

"The “house noodle soup” at this tiny, delicious spot is actually boat noodles, rich from the pork blood in the broth. Among the other dishes are hits like old-fashioned tom yum, pink-colored yen ta fo, and a delicious pad kee mao. Prices may be relatively low, but spice levels are authentically Thai (very spicy)." - Jay Friedman

I am severely bummed at the quality of the food now. We ordered soup and noodles tonight. There were only 3 shrimps in the noodles. The soup didn't fill a large bowl. The rice that came with the soup was undercooked and gummy. I will find a better option for Thai food after this unsatisfying meal.

The staff left such an impression I remembered to come back and review a week or two after we visited. I wanted Thai so badly very late at night, a craving so bad it was approaching hunger strike territory lol. I was not at all impressed by the other local options, so we drove over hopefully but weren’t sure about the hours as the door, Kit sign, and hours online were all different. So I called from the car and despite the fact they were closing early for the day, and I was completely willing to thank them and call it a loss for the night, the man on the phone said they’d still do a takeout order for us. In under 20 minutes we had piping hot food, and it absolutely delivered in terms of quality and taste!! Some of the best noodles I’ve had in a while here! And after we grabbed the bag, we saw their entire staff leave and shut down together with smiles and laughs. I can’t be more grateful for the kindness they showed when they absolutely didn’t have to, and amazing quality food too. They saved the night!

Super bummed. This used to be the best thai place around. But lately the food has been falling flat. My go-to dish is the pad see ew and I was missing the sweet tang it usually had and the spice was just not there. What really killed it were the trash end of the brocolinni. My dish was full of the chewy butt ends you might only eat at home when money it tight. Not in a $20 dish. Couldn't believe it. Eggs were burnt too. Update: Noodle hut reached out and remade the dish for me. See the second attached photo. The brocolinni was much better. A few pieces were bitter and needed a pre rinse or longer blanch, but overall, it was much better. 4 out of 5 stars. I hope they keep it up. I still miss the flavourful dark brown noodles from the rich dark soy sauce they served up a few years ago, but it's back on the right track.

July 2023 -- I agree with another poster about the change in taste. I've been meaning to write this review for a couple months but have not gotten to it. We ordered the pad thai and a couple other dishes to go, and they were bland. The pad Thai was not tangy and the noodle was all broken. The man there seemed very proud that his parents were cooking authentic Thai food in the kitchen, given that his aunt, the main cook/owner was in Thailand. I'm sorry, guy, but we like your aunt's food better... And we hope she is back or will be back soon. We miss her food. Changing my ratings from 5 to 4 stars for now. July 2021 -- since we first ate from here, we've been repeat customers and have not been disappointed. We just hosted a party today and I put in a big order the day before. The food was delicious and everybody's favorite was the turnip cake. They kept saying how good it was! The person in charge of taking & making my order at Noodle Hut went above and beyond expectation by giving me an extra order prepared specifically without egg and oyster sauce. I had originally asked for an order without egg but failed to mention about shellfish allergy. When I came to pickup the order she asked me if there was also shellfish allergy. I said yes, she said let me make you another one! I said she didn't have to buy she did anyway and I really appreciate the thoughtfulness!! November 2020 -- Really good food. We were pleasantly surprised that everything tasted really good. We don't frequent enough small mom-and-pops shops, and this was certainly one of them. We're didn't have too much expectations going in, and perhaps that was why we were so surprised of how well everything turned out. The noodles were not over cooked or soggy as we tend to experience with stir fried noodles. The meats of all the dishes were very tender. I don't tend to enjoy curry but did find myself enjoying the Massaman curry. Hubby now keeps asking about when we'd reorder from here, and that shall be soon!

I'll happily contribute to the high user rating of this establishment. It's not what you expect at first when pulling in the parking lot. It's definitely what I consider hole in the wall. Finding parking can be fierce as the lot is so small, and shared with a few other restaurants but this place is primarily for take out. They have only three tables and by the time we started eating, all three tables were taken. So we arrived just in time to grab our table. The food was great! We ordered Pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. Both were delicious. Their Jasmine green tea served with the meal is also very refreshing. Their prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. The service is good. Recommend!

Some of the best Thai I’ve ever had. Small menu but everything we’ve tried is delicious. The pad see ew, crispy chicken, crab friend rice, pineapple friend rice and red curry are our go-tos. Food always tastes fresh and is relatively quickly made. They finally opened some seating in the restaurant b/c it used to be take-out only.

Agree with others in missing the Aunt's cooking. This used to be our favorite Thai food by far. Whenever we had folks from out of town visiting, we would order food from Noodle Hut and they'd love it. The green curry, for example, was ridiculously flavorful and jam packed with veggies/meat. Our recent order of green curry order was an unrelated dish in both the flavor and quantity of goodies. We will certainly come back from time to time as it sounds like they are trying to bring back some of that magic. Fingers crossed in the mean time.
