"Classic Thai dishes, including pad see ew, satay, and red curry, are made with halal meats by chefs Rosie and Pete Keopaseut, who’ve been at it since 2003. This restaurant has multiple locations, so enjoy it in Garland, Frisco, Plano, Dallas, Richardson, Carrollton, and McKinney." - Didi Paterno

Food and atmosphere are very nice. Be prepared to wait a long time for your food to come out. HOWEVER, I do think it’s worth it. You just can’t stop by thinking it’s for a quick bite. The staff is very sweet and kind though a bit unorganized. If you’re looking for a leisurely dinner then it’s a good spot.

The Pad Woonsen and Vietnamese Noodle Soup were both delicious! Their homemade chili sauce was really good too!

This place is off the hook! We came on Sunday right at opening and were quickly seated. The staff is attentive and friendly. The dining room is spacious. But the food was the real star ⭐️ we had a large crowd so we were able to try a variety of dishes and every single one of them was impeccable. It was fresh, generous portions and probably the best Thai food I’ve had in the area. The kids got Bento boxes that came with ice cream and were a killer deal for $8. Enjoy the pictures!

Had their rolls and dimsum . Good. The thin chicken dish and glass noodles and roti curries also good .

The food here is great, not too spicy and halal. Like any good restaurant in demand it is very busy, people standing outside, overwhelmed front staff. Atmosphere is loud but fine. Family friendly. When you order take out, add 10 minutes to the expected delivery time cause they tend to run late…. But the food is always good!

Noodle Wave offers an exceptional dining experience for anyone looking for delicious, healthy, and Halal Thai cuisine. Their menu is a perfect fusion of vibrant Thai flavors and fresh ingredients, making it a great option for those who love flavorful dishes without compromising on health or dietary restrictions. One of the standout features is their use of Halal chicken, which is tender, perfectly cooked, and absorbs the rich Thai spices beautifully. The dishes are well-balanced, with fresh vegetables, herbs, and just the right amount of seasoning. The portions are generous without being overwhelming, making it perfect for a satisfying meal without feeling too heavy. Their **Pad Thai** and **Green Curry Chicken** are must-tries, with authentic Thai flavors that make you feel like you're eating straight from a Thai street market. The broth in the noodle soups is light but flavorful, and the stir-fried options pack a punch without being too greasy. The service is prompt and friendly, and the ambiance is cozy, with a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're dining in or taking out, Noodle Wave offers a consistently great experience. If you're looking for a place that serves healthy, Halal, and incredibly tasty Thai food, Noodle Wave is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a fresh and flavorful Thai meal!

I recently visited Noodle Wave in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and it has become one of my favorite places for Thai food in the DFW. I went there with my family when we had to wait over an hour at Texas Roadhouse. The food at Noodle Wave was amazing, especially the dumplings. I'm planning to visit the Noodle Wave location in McKinney today to enjoy more dumplings and try other dishes.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to eat. They have amazing curry and noodle dishes. I highly recommend trying the Crispy Chicken Green Curry and Crab Rangoon. You are welcome in advance. Typically order for pickup but when eating in the interior is nicely decorated and the service has always been top notch.

Yelp
Diabetics beware! I wear a nutrisense cgm sensor now and have discovered there is a lot of sugar in all their dishes and soup! The only thing I could eat today was the Malay curry. All their sauces have sugar and they do not want make diabetic safe food !! I love this restaurant and have eaten here for over 5 years! I wish they would consider healthy non sugar options! Please???? Pretty please?

Yelp
My friends are obsessed with this place, so we all came to see what the hype was about! Service is great, and the staff is really friendly. They also gave us little cups of free delicious-smelling soup that turned out to be a porridge of some kind. My friends and I ordered the papaya salad to share, and it was delicious. I couldn't stop eating it. The papaya was really fresh and crunchy. I ordered a crab fried rice, which I thought was more bland and not well seasoned but adding chili oil helped a lot. They put a lot of crab into the fried rice, and the portion size was huge. Pricing isn't bad at all, and I can see why this brings a lot of nostalgic memories for my friends.

Yelp
Noodle Wave is one of my favorite Thai restaurants. The food is amazing. I have tried everything from their menu. They have a branches around the dfw area. I recommend the following: 1. combination fried rice 2. Chicken pad Thai 3. Panang curry 4. Thai herbal chicken 5. Spicy catfish The soups are also very good. Service is amazing at the restaurant. They also do catering and they did an amazing job. They delivered the food on time. They set up the food also (buffet table). They did not skim on the quality or the portion. Everybody loved the food. I have eaten at the restaurant many times and the ambience is awesome. Certain locations can be packed and you will have to wait

Boom K.

Yelp
Worst pad Thai I've ever eaten. How can you mess up pad Thai. Waste of money and I hope this places declares bankruptcy

Juanita A.

Yelp
What a great find today. The food delicious, fresh and well prepared. But most importantly, the Staff. Everyone was so hospitable, so welcoming, and so humble. We will be back soon!! Thank you for being so accommodating!

Kelsey K.

Yelp
Stopped by on a whim. Was pretty busy for 3:30 pm on a Sunday which we took as a good sign! Got the veggie egg rolls which were delicious the dipping sauce was great. For entrees we got the sesame chicken udon which was good but the noodles needed a sauce they were a bit lacking in flavor. I got the pad kee mow with beef spice level 4 which was soo good! Spicy but not too spicy. If we're ever in the area we'd definitely stop by again. The restaurant was nicer then expected based off the outside which was a pleasant surprise.

Yelp
I have never used the "race" card for a restaurant but I am using it today. I have been going to this restaurant for at least 5 years and have never been treated the way I was treated today. We sat there for over 45 minutes and saw people come in after us and receive their food. We were told that they were busy because of Ramadan and you could see how busy they were but, when you see a multitude of to-go orders being filled and numerous people of Muslim Faith ( we could tell by their dress) who came in after us in large and small groups, received their food and ate while we were still waiting it became quite obvious. The manager said that "these people have been fasting all day" - that does not make it right. So disappointing. How can I ever recommend this place to anyone knowing the treatment they will receive.

Sanjay T.

Yelp
Tried pad thai, green curry and couple other items. I liked green curry and it was good.

Yelp
BROKEN GLASS found in Larb Gai Salad!!! We used to frequent this location often. Read the reviews recently and saw comments about delays which I set aside. Seems like this location has changed owners/management but it was true. I came late lunch hours (2pm) and there were only a couple of dine in tables. Still took 50 minutes to prepare my order of a Thai tea, a Larb Gai (minced chicken) salad and a side of roti. I was just going to set that aside and not leave a negative comment about wait time. But then, I had the first small crunch from salad and I didn't think of anything as sometimes there may be fragments of bone from chopped chicken? After almost finishing my salad, I crunch down on a larger chunk and thank god I pulled it out of my mouth. It was a whole fragment of GLASS!!!! I will never go back.

Jay D.

Yelp
The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and polite. The manager, Bonny, helped us out with understanding what was on the menu. The Thai Spicy Basil was fantastic. We had the fried ice cream for dessert. A Great Evening out! Bonny was very friendly and always smiling. Will definitely return soon!

Raymond N.

Yelp
Came here for lunch today and waited a little bit for a table the hostess was great. When she got to greeting us she immediately was able to seat us at the table. The menu was handed to us and we immediately knew what we wanted. I got the Thai green coconut curry with a medium spice level. Being as it was just lunch and I had to go to back afterwards I figured that would be the safe route for the spice level. When the food arrived a soup arrive which was a pleasant surprise as I was not expecting a soup before my meal. When the curry arrived I first tasted the soup I did wish it was more spicy then it was. The vegetables still had a little bite to it which was great as it was not mushy. The beef was cut thin and the broth made it flavorful. Overall the experience was good. Food came out faster than was expected as I was lead to believe that the food usually take a while to come out.

Honest L.

Yelp
The food here is good, have been coming for years. The Pad Thai, Spicy Basil Rice, Green Curry are great. The price tends to fluctuate based on who answers the phone which I find odd.. BUT the customer service is just awful, to the point where I will not be returning. I have dined in and ordered to go & every time I step in the building I am ignored for at least 10-15 minutes before someone decides to acknowledge me. Customer service matters and it's no longer something I can overlook. There are Thai places that are just as good but are a little further down the street and from now on I will just be making that drive for the customer service and consistency.

Andy N.

Yelp
The food was alright the customer service was HORRIBLE they took forever to serve took so long to make my food the lady was rude DO NOT RECOMMEND

Jason A.

Yelp
Food use to be great. It's going downhill. Waitstaff is nice enough but should get a proper cook.

Beverly B.

Yelp
I will NEVER order from here again. Management & Customer service sucks waiting over an hour inside the restaurant for an online order I placed 30 mins before I arrived!! and when I asked for a manager the waiter pointed at her she looked at me and ran to the back. Told the staff to tell me she was busy. Never again!

Lauren H.

Yelp
Crab Rangoon was pretty delightful. I order the Tom Kha with tofu... there was so much tofu that I had to take half of it out and there was still too much. At least they aren't greedy with their ingredients. I will never get that soup again, however. It was not very good and tasted a little on the strange side. The sweet and sour soup that comes out as a complimentary appetizer was really good though. Should have just gotten a massive bowl of that. I also wanted to point out the fact that when you walk in the restaurant, it smells like sewage. Am I the only one that picked up on that?! Honestly, if I wasn't in such a time crunch to eat and get back to work, I would have turned right around and left after smelling that. Will I go back? Yes. I feel like I should try something else on the menu before I decide it's a wash. I also want to point out that the service was excellent. My server was so very friendly and attentive. 10 out of 10 on the service end!

Dookie Y.

Yelp
Ordered Thai Noodle Beef Soup and it was an average. Good portions of meat and noodles, but the flavor was not so there. Server asked how spicy I wanted and I told her super spicy. I was sweating, but it was due to how the a/c was not up high enough for it being 80° out. Chopsticks and spoon was not handed out with my noodle soup. Servers did their best, but it just needs a little uplifting.

Amir O.

Yelp
Noodle Wave always hits the spot! Delicious and spot on spice level every time. This location is great.

Ali L.

Yelp
Good food and service. I love the noodle and curry dishes. Portion sizes are good and prices are reasonable .

Yelp
Noodle Wave Garland's unique Indian-Thai fusion shines! Food is outstanding, service is excellent. Must-try for flavor adventurers

Nabil J.

Yelp
Awesome food. Great ambiance. Friendly service. They should start one in Denver for us Coloradans

Yelp
Overall I truly enjoy this restaurant, and the food is the ONLY reason I continue coming back. Food is 5/5 stars no doubt... but the service and ADA negligence of the staff is absolutely uncalled for. ADA compliance is lacking when it comes to service provided. This has happened on 4 occurrences now and it is with the same little girl afraid of dogs every time. I am legally disabled, and handicapped due to my connective tissue disease, and heart condition. I take a service dog everywhere I go. I am not allowed to be unaccompanied without my service dog, due to my heart condition I can faint at the drop of a hat. My dog gets me to safety before I get to that point. If you are afraid of dogs. Simply remove yourself from the situation instead of arguing with a paying customer. Multiple times I have been argued with by this little girl that "pets aren't allowed in the restaurant." When a dog walks into an establishment and they are wearing a vest that reads "service dog." It is immediately illegal for her to have opened her mouth the way she did, and attempt to deny us service due to the Americans with Disabilities Act. If our waiter did not step in when he did, my business would have been lost, as well as my entire company's business. We order from here multiple times a week, and I truly do not appreciate the discrimination I faced as a woman with a disability in this establishment. I would have left with my coworkers and never looked back, but definitely would have reported to the ADA and the better business bureau. Please teach your staff that they need to educate themselves before they harm your business. I appreciate the gentleman who stepped in when he did, and took us to our table. He was immensely kind, and helpful. Even got my Service Dog Kiana a cup of ice water. Overall I truly enjoy the food. It is always a wonderful experience, and always so fresh and tasty. No complaints. Please fix the negligence of your staff at this establishment. Ableism is not flattering, and it makes your business look bad when I come in with other people. Sincerely, A woman with invisible disabilities

Yelp
2nd visit was a disaster. Went for a 2:30 lunch and the waiter noticeably didn't want me to eat. He was cleaning the dining area and said they were getting ready to close. I ordered spring rolls and spicy beef, both brought to the table at the same time. No condiments, no water refill but he brought the check 3 minutes after he dropped my food and stopped me from eating saying he had to close the register and I had to pay right now. Never checked back to see if the meal was ok or if I wanted anything else. The whole time I was eating, the phone rang off the wall. 2 people came in to place orders, asking why they didn't answer the phone. My waiter told them the owner told them not to take to go orders because there are only 2 people waiting tables today. Well I was the only person in the restaurant, while you let the phone ring off the wall. I'm not sure that's what your owner meant. I wont be eating here again. Inexcusable service and average food. Hard pass.

Adriane M.

Yelp
Had an amazing meal. Service was lovely. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Noodles were perfectly cooked. Fresh Veggie spring rolls were delicious.

Rehma U.

Yelp
I have been to almost all of the Noodle Wave locations , but there is something different about this one. My usual order is the almond sriracha chicken, and i've noticed that when I get it from here there is always this red chili and serrano(?) paste on it that overpowers and ruins the whole dish for me. Until today, it was only on that dish but everything else was okay. Today I noticed it on the pad kee mow, and again it ruined the entire dish for me. The people here are very nice and everything, I just wish they would get rid of the weird chili paste.

Cameron J.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants. Service is definitely lacking though, slow and unprofessional, and after having half the menu it begins to all feel like the same food. It's pretty crowded and small on weekends but still a cool interior.

Linda L.

Yelp
This place has gone way down hill. Green curry had pieces of something it was cooked with which should have been strained out before serving. The herb was totally inedible and I kept having to remove it from my mouth...disgusting. Spent close to $60 and they refused to give me the hot oil sauce with my entrees unless I paid 50 cents for each. Not even one would come with meal. Absolutely outrageous!!! I will NEVER be back.

Cynthia Illene C.

Yelp
Crab Rangoon, vegetable puffs, soup spiced to right level I brought home to finish following day and packed with flavor intensity. Singapore noodle with beef includes eggs- delish. Tea unfolds flavor smashing also!

Gary G.

Yelp
Outstanding food and fair prices. Haven't had a bad dish and love the 1-5 spice leveling to get it just right for me.

Muneer B.

Yelp
Very rude management. We called for a party of 14 people to check if they have space and they said come over. When we got there the manager was very rude and disrespectful and unwilling to accommodate the family. I think the community has given noodle waves too much importance and with the result they are becoming rude as they know they can insult some and still have others. Time to teach them a lesson that in hospitality industry service is key. Maybe people should start taking their business somewhere else.

Gary S.

Yelp
Food is great but the last few orders have been very, very slow. Like 15 minutes past the promise time for simple orders. Something has changed about this place.

Raza S.

Yelp
Noodle Wave is a Thai restaurant that offers patrons a comfortable sit-down style meal. Setting: The ambience of the restaurant gets a 5 star rating. The blue lit indoor area along with the decor were fantastic. It felt as if we were sitting in an upscale restaurant. Food: The food also gets a 5 star rating. For appetizers we ordered the chicken dumplings along with the tom yum soup. The chicken dumplings were great and unique (see pictures). The tom yum soup was awesome, but offered little shrimp in quantity. For my main entree I bought a fried noodle dish with beef (see pictures). This was a dish I had not tried previously but it was amazing. The portions for the entrees are very large and, even with a large appetite, I was unable to finish all of the food. Speaking to family who had been here previously, it seemed as if the chicken in general tastes better than the beef here. Customer Service: Excellent. Our waitress was very attentive to us and even helped pack up our extra food into boxes! Tl;dr: This is an excellent Thai restaurant with great, affordable food in large quantities. The customer service is also fantastic!

Shengxin S.

Yelp
Grabbed lunch to go and got the crab cream cheese crab rangoons, Lao style papaya salad with peanuts, and a big noodle dish I think it was called Pad Kee Mow with ground chicken. Crab rangoons: bomb. Right off the bat you taste the real crab flavor. Plenty of filling with very thin wrapper. Papaya salad: had high hopes but was disappointed. It was just WAY TOO SALTY. If you get this make sure you order lots of white rice. Pad Kee Mow: flavor was really really good. Just wished they cooked the vegetables more, the peppers were damn near raw. But if you don't mind it then you will love the dish.

Gina A.

Yelp
Really good food here. Gigantic portions. The only reason I didn't give a 5 is because restaurants that don't give you a lunch sized portion on the weekends annoy me. Good service, I had the spicy cashew chicken and my friend had pad Thai. Delicioso!!

Sahar K.

Yelp
Got yellow curry on Wednesday night. The chicken was raw and I got severely ill. I tried calling the location on Thursday no answer, called today multiple times they told me to call after 5pm for the manager. They did not refund me. They gave me a credit for just the yellow curry when I got severely ill and kept asking for a refund since I wouldn't be returning. I knew this location was bad but not this bad. Pictures of the raw chicken attached. I ate about half for lunch and dinner was when I noticed it was raw and immediately got sick. Do not eat at this location.

Jessica D.

Yelp
The best food I've ever had in garland, I ordered the crispy pan fried egg noodles which is probably the best tai dish I've ever had. It has so much flavor, the perfect layer of spice, and the beef was beyond tender. The staff were super nice and the food came out pretty quickly given how good it was. N Definitely worth checking out!

Amy P.

Yelp
We waited 10 minutes before any acknowledged we were there and then the lady was rude. She said they were only taking orders to go. As we sat and waited for our to go order, the next 3 groups of people that walked in were sat at a tables with no mention of to go orders only! This was my first time here and it will be my last! Worst experience I've had at a restaurant, ever.

Yush K.

Yelp
The service: seating Saturday night at 7:45pm we arrived with party of 6. They told us it would be 30 minute wait. They had table open but it was for 8 people... they said they cant let us sit there. 30 Minutes later... still no table available except of course the table they had open for potential party of 8 people to show up. The host tried to seat us on table of 4 with 6 chairs (not possible for adults). So then I asked again if we can please have the table for 8. Then they said okay fine take the table that seats 8. Lesson of probability and common sense: there is bigger chance for party of 4 to show up than party of 8. So it makes more sense to give the bigger table to bigger party even if its not 8 people because giving a 4 seater table you are making your customer unhappy. Also party of 6 tip is added to bill automatically. The food: sugar and lots of it We ordered: spice level 4 on all Green curry tofu... it was below average Roti curry... i dont recommend this Pad thai... its good for dessert super sweet Almond sricha chicken (this was good) Soup kha and tom yum (both decent) Salad (portion smaller than expected but very fresh) Basil chicken fry (good) All their sauces are pre-made and they are super sweet! No changes can be made. The pad thai is sweeter than pumpkin pie! I had to send it back and of course they gave me a really hard time with that but they did eventually just take it off the bill which was nice of them since they took it away. The place: small but cute!

Ross G.

Yelp
The food is good, but they lose points for less than stellar service and for the fees associated with delivery. When ordering delivery, either through their website or third party delivery services, there are anywhere from $9 - $12 just in delivery, service, and convenience fees. That's insane in a time where most restaurants offer free or nearly free delivery. Add in tax and tip, and your order jumps up $20 over what you thought you'd pay. Because of the crazy delivery fees, I've tried resorting to pick up a few times. On multiple occasions the person taking the order has gotten the order wrong and I've had to wait on them to remake it. They even made me pay more after they realized their mistake since it was technically a different item. I'm not against paying the right price, but to tell a customer that you messed up, their food won't be ready for an extra 15 minutes, then tell them they need to pay an extra $2 while they wait is a bad look. Like I said, the food is good, but it isn't always worth the hassle and fees.

Danny T.

Yelp
So had order this pad Thai. I'm used to spicy and limey. Not sweet and no spice. Level 3 spice? Ha. This taste as sweet as the Tom Kha soup. They need a level chart because this wasn't what I was expecting. I'm so disappointed, Like there is no umami, no tang. Anyways sub-par for my palate

MJ J.

Yelp
For lunch we ordered the shrimp in a blanket. It could not have been more fresh or perfectly cooked. The entree was the beef pad see ew and it also was very well prepared. The ice tea was very fresh, flavorful and authentic, they didn't scrimp by serving Lipton.

Syed A.

Yelp
We ordered: Orange Chicken Mongolian Beef Chicken Pad Thai Thai Tea My sister-in-law wanted Thai tea and liked it. My brother-in-law thought it tasted like coffee. Orange chicken was flavorful, just not crispy. Perhaps because we did a carry-out order and ate it half hour later. The sauce had good flavor, though. My favorite was the Mongolian Beef. It was really tender, flavorful and juicy. We ordered Chicken Pad Thai without peanuts because my nephew is severely allergic to peanuts. But they didn't make it without peanuts. Luckily, we saw the peanuts in pad Thai and kept it away from my nephew. The facility was clean and the staff was really courteous and prompt with service. I plan to dine in next time.

CR J.

Yelp
Wow! I just found one the best meal deals in garland! On Thursday and Sunday only, they have a great plate of combo green curry and pad Thai, served with the soup of the day and a crispy egg roll, with a scoop of your choice of flavoured ice cream (I tried Green Tea!). It was delicious and so filling, absolutely worth the $10.95 I paid!! I've also tried their Panang Curry (L $8.95, D $11.95) which isn't as sweet as I expected but still good! My favorite curry that they serve. The Red Curry (L $8.95, D $11.95) was very smoky tasting. Very unlike other red curries I've tried. I wouldn't get it again, it was way too chalky of a consistency for my liking. The Crispy Chicken Green Curry ($11.95) is a fan favorite. The chicken is best eaten fresh, I wouldn't waste taking it home as the breading gets soggy. But the taste of the curry was good. I like the Pad Kee Mow (L $8.50, D $10.95). Not sure why they have a fire symbol by it because it wasn't spicy at all and you can choose your spice level (1 to 4). We tried 3 and it was very mild. Crispy Chicken Egg Rolls were good but not spectacular for $5.50 and you only get 4 thin ones they cut up in halves. I'll have to try the crab Rangoon next time. Overall great restaurant for Thai. Not the best seating for large parties but it's possible. Will be coming back! @crjetc

Bruce C.

Yelp
So I'll first say that I was expecting Cantonese pan fried noodles. That was my mistake. I was expecting thin egg noodles and it was thick egg noodles. It came with a sweet gravy sauce. I was expecting salty. Those two items are my mistake and that shouldn't be blamed on Thai Noodle Wave. The part that I am particularly unhappy about is the beef was particularly overcooked. If you cooked it for an hour longer, it wouldn't have gotten any harder. A second issue is the sauce was just liquid. No thickening agent was used so the sauce didnt stick to the noodles. The food was ready when they said it was. That's a plus. The place was super busy. Maybe the other food is good, but mine was not; some of it on me, other stuff on the restaurant.

C D.

Yelp
Had the ginger salmon with brown rice. The dish came with a lot of vegetable. I loved it. Super friendly people.

Ja'Ron Q.

Yelp
Easily in my top three favorite restaurants in the Metroplex! After almost 8 years, I've never had a bad dish here at any location. Chef Rosie (?) is a culinary genius as far as I'm concerned. Thank you for so many wonderful meals and many more to come.

Hallei L.

Yelp
This is my fiancé's and I's Togo spit for Thai. I live in Dallas and the Noodle wave on spring Valley is closer to me but the Garland location is my favorite. The food is very yummy and we have tried so many Thai restaurants and still prefer Noodle Wave. The Thai noodle soup is one of our favorite. My fiancé gets with chicken and I get vegetable. I've had many dIfferent plates and they've all been delicious. For appetizers we alternate between the vegetable spring rolls or the summer rolls. Both very good! The only desert we've had here is the mango sticky rice since we are always stuffed afterwards but that is good too! Staff have been nice and check in us regularly. No complaints so far! Love it!

Matthew B.

Yelp
We ordered for pickup when we were out in the north Richardson area. Great, fast service. I had the Shanghai noodles and Tom Kha soup. Both were excellent and exactly what I wanted. Good flavors. Will absolutely go again.
