"At first glance, Noodle World’s jack-of-all-noodles schtick might seem like a safe play to the favorites, strictly utilitarian in its ability to quell lunch rushes from nearby businesses. And yes, their formula of juxtaposing spaghetti with pho is a winning proposition, if their multiple stateside locations are any indication. With that said, don’t scoff at their Thai food offerings — the kuaytiaw, or Thai boat noodles, in particular, arrive steaming and fragrant with the scent of star anise. Noodle World is uncompromising in their attention to the detail; tripe is julienned into bite-sized ribbons and pork blood is not in short supply in this authentic bowl of home cooked goodness that’s sure to make Thai natives wax nostalgic." - Euno Lee

Ordered a combination pho and it was disappointing. The broth was too sweet and lacked other layers of flavor. There wasn’t enough meat and literally gave me 4 small slices of brisket, a couple tendons and 3 fish balls. They had a sad amount of mint and Thai basil.

First time going to noodle world after an 8 hour hike with my brother and i. The first impression was how open the place was, nice decor with the atmosphere. When we ordered our dishes. I was a little shocked to see a drink menu containing smoothies, a great delight for being in the sun all day. Food was tasty, not too bland and not salty. The appetizer was perfect. My egg noodle soup with seafood and wonton made it appealing to the eye and better down the pallet. The only not interesting feel to the place was that the restroom was outside 40 ft from the exit in the rear. Maybe it's because it's an old building. It's not adequate when it rains. Overall, I was satisfied with customer service and the tasty noodles. The coconut smoothie I ordered was just perfect.

Google
The San Marino location is soooooo much better than the San Gabriel location. Food taste is the same if not a tiny bit better, it's the same flavor same menu, the sauces are a bit better, this location was not as busy, so I felt like they could pay more attention to the customer and the food prep. I am definitely coming back here again to get my noodle world fix, with out having to drive through the crazy of valley boulevard!! Unsure if there was parking in the back, we street parked in the front which was totally available since it was after 5 p.m. on a weekday.

We all loved our dishes. Super noodle dishes from a variety of cultures. Something to please everyone in our group.

Google
Love this place! So many different things to order and choose from! The Rare Steak Pho has always been my fav and the Pad See Ew noodles. Parking is a little difficult cause you have to find it in the store front or on the side streets. There are lots of tables! There wasn’t anyone to greet us right away but when the waiter came up, he was really nice and helpful. He brought us hot water with lemon on a freezing night, it was perfect! He also asked if we wanted an extra bowl when we ordered soup, so he thought ahead! We ordered the Rare Steak Pho and Green Curry. Both were good! The Pho’s broth was very tasty! The green curry was a tad too spicy for me but still good (not the best but it was good)! Overall, had a great experience with warm food on a cold night. The wait wasn’t too long either.

Google
Big portion, affordable price and the best hainan fried chicken , it's crunchy and tasty. Mint chicken, it's spicy but good too. The atmosphere was quite and mostly people order for delivery.

Google
Great, inexpensive Asian fusion food. I love the garlic chicken rice dish well-done in combination with their table Thai chili sauce. The beef steak is also delicious. First discovered the restaurants in college at Ucla with their Westwood location (now closed). They have many locations through out the county; menus may vary based on location! Parking is easy off the Main Street; if parked on the Main Street be careful pulling back out; it’s a four lane highway! Ask for Ken at this location; he is great! Enjoy!

Google
I have been coming here for years, it's one of my go to Pho Joints. I think it's above average but not spectacular. Definitely worth a try if you are near Santa Anita Mall area.

Jill G.

Yelp
When my hubby wants pad Thai and I want pho, we come here. The pho is always very good as are the pork egg rolls. It's a quiet little restaurant on Huntington drive, so if you're looking for a nice relaxing place to have dinner or lunch, come here. The wait staff is always very attentive and the food is good. I would highly recommend you come here if you're looking for a good meal that is nice and relaxing!

Yelp
They are always the BEST! So this was our first time here in Pasadena location, my group was not aware of their store hours so we came 30 mins before closing (sorry!) but we got what we all wanted!!! VERY VERY VERY DELICIOUS! As always, we normally go to their Alhambra location but since we were around the area and craved for noodles - we went and tried here and YES! of course, they did not disappoint. The service was super fast! At first we were apprehensive and compared right away with their other place Alhambra fav location - in here the light was dim, not a lot of people eating... (later we found out it is because they are closing lol!) - so yeah, all your apprehensions will go away as soon as you received their flash service, good food and great staff! Try their pork barbeque its the most delicious for me and I think all their food are good for 2! Enjoy my shared pics!

Yelp
I walked in to an awkward moment where neither server would greet me even though they were right there, place pretty empty. Finally the one at the cashier goes "Can I help you?" Really? Was that how restaurants greet customers? I go "One" and finally got led to a table. Do I look like a homeless or a transient or something? I think I looked less homeless than the server imho. I even went to a Thai restaurant for lunch, Hollywood Noodles to be exact looking the same, and from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out, the server there treated me like royalty so I think I looked fine. Is it because it's dinner time and I was alone? Well there was already another guy, using a cane also, dining by himself so I don't think that's it, either. So anyway, I sat there feeling scroungy pondering what happened waiting for my food. So the other server bring me my food, places it in front of me, no "here you go" or "enjoy" or nothing usually customary. But I already figured she was unfriendly. Okay, so the food was great, just as I always remembered. Hit the spot. Except, that the quality of the shrimp had gone down. They now use the cheap, tasteless peeled frozen shrimp.Well, I had the same at Olive garden so it must be the norm now. Otherwise, the dish was perfect. I left what I feel is the minimum 15% tip. At least I got a thank you as I walked out but I just felt dirty, about myself. That'll be my last time there. At least this branch.

Chelsea A.

Yelp
Staff was super accommodating considering they don't take reservations and we had 9 people. They were able to put our name down and had a spot ready to go when we arrived. This is a pretty big spot, and I wouldn't call it a dive, just your usual Asian food spot with fun decor and lots of tables. Being from Seattle, we're well versed in a variety of Asian foods. This spot fell flat for me. I got the sesame beef and was expecting the type of sesame beef I normally have back home. But this was literally just beef cooked in sesame seeds, with an odd sauce on the side, and a massive serving of rice. I ended up eating my boyfriends wonton noodle bowl instead. My stomach was upset the rest of the night, and I didn't take my leftovers with me.

Yvonne C.

Yelp
Dropped my dog off to the groomers about a block or two blocks away and found this spot. It was busy when we got there and had 2 waiters working. Theres two sides seating and one side was packed. It was fast for only have 2 waiters and a packed house. They have a huge selection on their menu. I tried the Thai boat noodles and wasn't a big fan. Then to the bbq pork wonton noodles... I've had way better elsewhere. The bbq pork looked like food coloring was used.

Michelle L.

Yelp
I prefer this Noodle World location as the food is always served extremely hot and fresh. The service is fast and my food of choice is the rare steak pho.

Kenny W.

Yelp
Had lunch with some friends Monday and we a really great time. Our server Eva was the best to ever do it! She was all over the place to exceed our expectations. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the kitchen lost 1 of our orders. 1 of my friend's food literally didn't come out until we were all done eating. Luckily though, Eva still made everyone happy despite the mistake. The food was good also. I'd definitely come back for the great staff and good food!

Stephen C.

Yelp
Great option for noodles. We typically go to the one on Valley but on this day, we were closer to this one. The flavors are great. We got the Pad Thai. Pad See Ew and Chicken dish. The honey glaze is delicious that comes with the chicken Parking: Street parking but should be no problem with plenty of space. Overall: Will return for their noodles and drinks.

Masis Y.

Yelp
Overall great lunch place nothing fancy . Here is the interesting part: FOOD SMELLS AMAZING BIT TASTED A LITTLE BIT FLAT. The aroma carried me away it was that good but taste just like missing some spices kind of taste. Still it was fresh and clean serving. Presentation was amazing prices affordable in this market.

Anthony P.

Yelp
The service there is good, but that's all they have going for them to be honest. For $13.49, not including taxes you get robbed for the fried rice combos, I've done both chicken and beef. Each time the portions for protein choice is not worth what you are paying. I've eaten at plenty of Thai food places from L.A to San Diego, and now here in the Pasadena/San Marino area, I would not recommend this place. For all the fried rice you get it could use more flavor too. Save yourself the money, unless you don't care then go ahead and waste it here. (The picture I posted is before I ate anything, just wanted to give y'all a reference of the amount of protein you get.)

Yelp
I have been to this particular Noodle World location for years! This Noodle World location has never changed a bit in terms of friendly staff, delicious and fresh food, and the amazing flavors I come back for! My friends, family, and I have had multiple dishes here, every dish made quickly and served HOT (or cold) depending on your dish, with every Asian flavor. My favorite go-to is the Noodle World Tom Yum Noodle Soup - its a heart-warmer with a spicy kick to it. As an appetizer, Pork Egg Rolls have a crunchy and fresh bite to them. It's always been my favorite way to eat them - with lettuce and dipped in fish sauce! Another dish that is a must-try is the Sirachagetti, which probably should be their signature dish. To describe it, its a spicy spaghetti with flair! I could go on and on about their other dishes like Pad Thai, Yakisoba, Pad See You, Tom Yum Noodles, Pho, Wonton Noodle Soup and more...just know I am a loyal long-time customer for a reason!

Brenda M.

Yelp
My first time finally came to Noddle World Loved it ! They have the best Vegetable Egg Rolls Ever....... I couldn't stop eating them ,there was this unique flavor to them . The dipping sauce wasn't to sweet. I order the Japanese Iced Green Tea ,it was really really good. It was addicting. I wasn't sure what to order so I order two noddle soups Shoyu Pork Ramen & bbq pork wonton noddles both were amazing and great flavor ,I ate more of the bbq pork wonton ,there equally delicious.. Puen was a great server !

Damaris G.

Yelp
Let's start with the good... Service was good and servers were all pretty friendly. The food portions are pretty large even appetizers. I ordered Vietnamese hand rolls and it was three pretty large ones. Now onto the bad, I also ordered pork chow mein crispy noodles and it just tasted off. The heavy gravy is extremely salty and has a sour taste to it. This dish is usually my favorite when ordering noodles but I just can't see myself coming back here with so many other terrific options nearby. Not to mention they are definitely more expensive than some other better quality places.

SO L.

Yelp
This is my favorite place!!!!! Great atmosphere!!! Super Bomb food so many dishes to try all so yummy!!! Service is good very polite and kind. Price is definitely reasonable you must try their dishes so so good all of them!!!

Bryanna P.

Yelp
This place has the BEST spring rolls I've ever tasted in my life! The sauce that comes with it is absolutely amazing. I ordered the soupless shrimp bowl and it was absolutely delicious and super light! I didn't feel heavy afterwards. 10/10 place!

Amy V.

Yelp
The food comes out quickly, the portions are decently sized, and the staff are friendly. Overall, nice place for a bite to eat.

Shirley T.

Yelp
Picked up takeout for Mother's Day: Fast service, food was ready in 20 minutes, plenty of curbside parking, and got a text when my order was ready telling me my order #; indoor seating was available but there were only 2 families dining inside compared to the mountain of takeout orders behind the counter Tonkotsu ramen was alright. Pad see you was a bit too sweet for my preference, and the beef of the Hong Kong pan fried noodles was a bit tough to chew on. However, the fried chicken wings were phenomenal and the food was decent overall. Loved the giant portion sizes--gotta get your bang for your buck!

Victoria M.

Yelp
I love Noodle World so much. I'm sad they continue to close locations, but I'm glad this one (and a few others) are still open! Every time I go, I'm always seated right away. They are very efficient and friendly at this location. There is plenty of street parking that is close to the entrance. It's a really clean and enjoyable environment. Great place!

Yelp
Decide to go to Noodle World, but found it, Disappointing. Tried No.79, Chicken curry with noodles,(chicken chunks way too big), No Flavor. No. 46 combo Pho, (The broth was just bland), No flavor. The No. 95 Crispy Chow Mein-chicken, noodles seem a bit old, sauce no flavor. I'm assuming there might be other things on the menu that might be good for others, however, the three things tried would not be any on my reorder list.

Max B.

Yelp
I visited the San Marino location for lunch with a friend who had never been there and totally enjoyed our food. We shared Tom Kai soup and Pad Thai noodles. Both dishes were well prepared and generous. We even had some of the pad Thai left to take home. We stayed a long time just talking and the staff was still attentive giving us drinks and ice water.

Michelle B.

Yelp
Food, service & ambiance are very good. Lyn is so helpful. This is now our go to Asian restaurant.

Luke W.

Yelp
Worse service ever. My friends and I ordered our food and we didn't touch it till the 3 rd first got her food. She said to the waiter she didn't eat pork or sea food and they served the worst broth known to man kind. We asked to refund and leave but the manager said "if you were a business owner then you would know" and I personally think that's so unprofessional when a customer dosnt like the food that you gave. Ps they fixed it 2 times and still didn't wanna refund us after trying other problem solving.

Steven C.

Yelp
Excellent food, & Excellent service. I will definitely be going back. This is a new location for me a great menu. A few item not o. Other menus. Check it out.

Sophie B.

Yelp
I just had the worst Tom yum soup. No flavor other than way too much rice noodle that seemed like it was cooked forever ago. It was hard and not soft. Also there is barely any air conditioning inside the restaurant. It was too hot inside. I took a few bites and left.

Jessica C.

Yelp

Yelp
Parking: Street parking is available in the front of the business. Expect to find a good amount of angle parking spaces. There also appears to be a small parking area in the back of the business here as well. Service: There were a few team members working the floor at the time of visit. 2 of the team members displayed exceptional customer service and was very attentive to our table. Overall, their customer service & attitude towards our table and other customers.. really contributed to a great dining atmosphere and experience. Menu: Noodle World. Like the name of the business suggests, you will be able to find just about any type of noodles here from Japanese, Chinese, or Thai. Personally, I recommend their Revolutionary Ramen which they describe as fusion noodle soup. I recommend specifically their Beef Tom Yum Ramen and the awesome thing is that if you prefer pork over Beef, they can make the substitute for you. The overall cleanliness of this place was amazing. Very impressed with how the team members here take care of the business as compared to the location in Alhambra.

Jessica Y.

Yelp
I ordered my meal over the phone before going over. It was easy to order. Was give an estimated pickup time and upon arrival it was ready waiting. Staff was polite and nice. The vege eggrolls was a surprisingly big portion. It's made with big pieces of sliced vegetables. Very fresh. For being a fried item I felt I was still getting my vegetables haha. Also orderes the thai boat and house noodle soup. Noodle soups are a comfort food to me. These hit the spot.

Michael H.

Yelp
Was a great experience good noddles I was not disappointed love their Pho yummy!!!!!

Felicia S.

Yelp
The seafood spaghetti is decent but the rare steak pho is... Lacking. I added extra steak and they didn't even put enough to make a normal order from other places I get the same thing from. And I called to make sure and they said yes a normal order is 6-7 thin slices, which is what I got. Maybe 8 they were tiny. I don't mind paying money for something good but that's ridiculous

Harris P.

Yelp
Good food: got one noodles and one fried rice. BOTH were good. The seafood noodles full of the seafoods and the chicken fried rice full of chicken. Good price: like I mentioned both dishes were full of ingredients. However, they all around $10. During the pandemic, many restaurants rise their prices but not this one and they still give you lots seafood that's really awesome.

Michelle L.

Yelp
Just ordered a spicy spaghetti for delivery and they placed a piece of lettuce on top that was SOO obviously rotten/moldy.. I am so disgusted by this. It's literally the first thing I saw when opening the box... lunch ruined. This needs to be addressed with their kitchen. So unacceptable, I'm honestly glad the lettuce was on top and not underneath the food like how they serve it in the restaurant.

Wing C.

Yelp
Nothing outstanding except for the amount of oil pooling at the bottom of the noodles. The Hong Kong pan fried was abnormally dark (borderline burnt) in color. Generous portions, 2-3 stars taste.

John J.

Yelp
Good thai food cant go wrong with there menu has something for everyone...ive been coming here since i was kid and they are still around over 20yrs in the SGV...try out there hainam chicken chili beef and fried pork ribs rice plate soups are good too.

Jessica Y.

Yelp
Terrible service. We got there at 8:34pm. They refused service. I've never been refused service. Am I unrealistic? 25 mins before closing?

Adrian F.

Yelp
Delicious! Service is pretty good. All around good takeout place. I personally recommend the sesame beef.

Shirley W.

Yelp
Open for take out and delivery. Now the chicken wing was fried to a slightly darker golden brown. It was crispy, juicy, tender, with very thin batter (which is the way I enjoy it), and thick, sweet dipping sauce. I would probably give it a 5 star. Now the Pad Thai was over cooked. The noodle falls apart upon forking. The bean sprouts was left raw on the bottom of the dish. It would probably still be crunchy if it was mixed in instead of used as a garnish. The seasoning is not there, very tomato heavy, but not much other flavors. Shrimp was cooked perfectly.

lis b.

Yelp
Been eating here forever!! Husband picked up today. Our go-to dishes are always the garlic pork over rice and the combo fried rice. Tried the chicken curry today and it was not bad! The chicken basil could've been a little more spicy. The portions are great! And the service is always friendly. Definitely recommend.

Will C.

Yelp
We've been coming to this location since it opened. This was one of our go to spots after our kids' games/practices. Everyone can usually find something they really like on the menu. They've always been able to accommodate a bigger party and we've never had a bad experience here. The food is always consistently good. I don't think I've ever tried a dish here that was not decent. We usually order a combination of the dishes below: Pad Seew Pad Thai Fried chicken wings Chow mein with crispy noodles Spicy spaghetti Seafood Tom Ka Sesame Beef Thai Fried Rice Tonkatsu Ramen The service is really quick and friendly. Ordering take out during Covid was real easy by phone. The food is usually ready before I can even get there. We hope to be back for dine-in again soon.

Nadine C.

Yelp
Noodles in Los Angeles... One of my favorite foods is noodles... pho, spaghetti, ramen, chow funn, udon, pad thai, mai funn, soba, saimin, fettuccine, e-min... it's all good! So, when lunchtime came around and Noodle World was mentioned, I was really excited! They serve all kinds of noodles... and even have some rice dishes... and have FREE parking right out front! Yay! I got the seafood wonton egg noodles...yum! The thin, chewy noodles were firm and delicious! I counted 2 mussels, 2 pieces of imitation crab, one shrimp, a fish ball, a piece of fish cake, and lots of Choi sum and squid. I think there were 4 wontons. I was full by the end of the bowl, so it didn't really matter. Food coma had set in and naptime arrived... Zzzzz... I'll be back! P.S. Thanks for the efficient and friendly service! We were checked on a couple of times!

Kristine B.

Yelp
Calm ambiance and cleaner location. The servers are very warm and friendly, especially Beau who's there on Wed and Thu. It's the same Noodle World deliciousness and menu variety but in a less hectic, less crowded, and homier place. Will definitely come back!

Lissette T.

Yelp
Excelente service and the food is very tasty I would definitely recommend everyone to eat at Noodles World.

Debbie G.

Yelp
Noodle World San Marino is a great place for a cloudy cold day. Nothing hits the spot better than Pho! Thanks and can I have a pillow for my afternoon nap! Lol

Jenny K.

Yelp
Always very great service and terrific food!! We come here a lot!! : ) Love it!! The service is so friendly!! They are so kind and nice and polite!!

Ka C.

Yelp
I came here at around 7pm. There was no more parking right in front of the restaurant. However when I turned right on the side streets, there were plenty of street parking. I ordered the shrimp Tom yum and pad-see-you. I really liked the shrimp Tom yum soup. The broth was right on point, not too sour not too salty, I only wished it's a little bit more spicy. I also liked that they put vermicelli noddles instead of rice noodles. I forgot to count but there were quite a number of shrimps in the soup. I'll definitely come back!

Annie K.

Yelp
Best Thai coffee in the world a million times better then the Starbucks up the street across from city hall

Richard O.

Yelp
I've always liked Noodle World. They're a Chinese/Southeastern Asian fusion. The spicy seafood spaghetti was always one of my favorite dishes, but today, I got the Lemongrass Pork, and it's arguably one of the best pork dishes in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, there's only 2 Noodle World's that carry the Lemongrass Pork: San Marino/Downey. I gave the Pasadena location 4 stars years ago, but that location closed. I'm boosting my score to 5 stars.

Jody C.

Yelp
One of my go to restaurants! They have such a large selection of choices, you could literally have something different each time. I recently tried the chicken satay hand rolls and was obsessed! So good! Some of my other favorites are the drunken noodles, charbroiled pork chop, house wonton noodle soup, fried Hainan chicken, and chicken mint leaf. Almost everything that I've tried on the menu has been solid. Will continue to order from here to support this business.

Tyler J.

Yelp
It's been a very long time since I've had a decent bowl of Thai Boat Noodles, and this place showed up. We also ordered the Deep Fried Hainan Chicken, which is a deviation from our tried and true dish anywhere. It was a risk, but paid off greatly. We didn't expect it to be as good as it was but the dark meat was still juicy while the light and crispy coating gave a nice contrast. Will be returning here for sure.

Rubia B.

Yelp
Service was horrible! We waited forever for our food. When we got our order it was wrong and top it up they charged me for an extra dish that I didn't ordered
