While best known for its noodles, Noodle Blvd features a selection of Korean BBQ dishes that have garnered attention from local food critics, including INDY Week. Their marinated galbi (short ribs) and bulgogi are highlights, offering authentic flavors in an unfussy, student-friendly setting near Duke University. The restaurant is independently owned and prides itself on delivering comforting, home-cooked Korean meals, making it a favorite for quick lunches and casual dinners.

Google
Large menu with plenty of dietary friendly options! Our large order came out exceptionally quick, and everything tasted great. Large portions for the price. I would recommend all of there tortellinis!

Google
Food came out very quickly. Ordered an entre, side, and drink and they tried to charge us all separately since we didn’t say the word “combo”. I tried to explain that we wanted the combo before swiping my card and they said that the order already went through. It wasn’t until I said I’d just leave that they figured out how to make the change. They were out of steak so I had to get meatballs. They have a coke remix machine and had all flavors available.

Me & my family stop in for a bite to eat. Take-out style, my wife ordered 4 cheese Alfredo for me & once i got home, we found out they gave me the wrong order of Crispy chicken bacon Alfredo I assume they only had the 4 cheese for a limited time, but they could have said so & directed me to order something else not just place an order they were confused about my wife checked our order, but didn't notice they had bacon in my dish which I'm allergic to kibble & bits that's not real bacon! They had it hide at the very bottom. Thank God I didn't consume. This is the second time this location screwed my order, not eating here again.

Google
The food was good, the service was online only, the restaurant was so HOT, please turn your AC on or get it repaired. It was unbearable to stay inside so I left instead of dining in. I will give it a second try when in the area and hopefully update my review for the better.

Google
the food is terrible. all the food is frozen or canned. i can taste the soybean oil in my food. hella salt in the chicken too. the potstickers were cold when they served it. like what? they cant even microwave it right.

Fatima Ford

Google
I went there for chicken noodle soup before I can get my food. I saw the grade I asked for a refund and they did not want to give me one. The customer service is very horrible.

Google
If I had known the Pad Thai included a screw at the bottom of my bowl, I would have asked for it on the side ;)

Google
Found this little gem looking for good food before I left Durham and so glad I decided to give them a try! Ordered the Korean noodles with steak and a cesar salad. The noodles were delicious! Spicy but perfectly seasoned and the added cucumber and cilantro were bright notes in the dish. Recommend 100%! The only down side here is parking can be tricky. But food is fabulous

Yelp
Over here eating now ..another delicious Meal at a good price. Always a great staff and well run....Love coming to this location ..

Yelp
Stopped in for a bit. Staff were friendly. The facility was clean. The food was okay. It had a decent flavor but I found my pad Thai was a bit bland.

Yelp
We always stop at this Noodles and Co when driving back to NOVA. Always slow service but this time topped it all. We waited 40 minutes and they messed up four of five orders and ran out of forks. And the staff so lackadaisical about it all. So frustrating.

Yelp
I stopped by at the request of a coworkers mom who is staying at Duke with a loved one. I was picking up food for her-the order I was asked to fill was for steak stroganoff, a Rice Krispie treat and some unsweetened iced tea. Let's start with the the sign on the door saying to use the side door, then I walked in and and saw two women who appeared to be busy cooking, they greeted me by saying that I could order on line, which sort of annoyed me bc if I wanted to order on line I would have done that before coming to the location. There was only one other person in the place who was waiting to pick up. I stood near the register and asked if I had to order on line and that's when another employee came up front and seemed annoyed to have to take my order. The place was looking rough and the customer service was something to be desired. I was annoyed that they didn't have any unsweetened ice tea available a sooo many of the options in their drink machine were not available. I found the place to be unkempt. Service was also kind of slow, not as slow as I expected based upon my observations, but there is definitely a great deal of room for improvement! Please do better and tidy things up.

Yelp
They're so greedy that the serve the noodles DRY and charge for extra sauce. Ridiculous that this place is still in business. I think being walking distance to the hospital is the only reason for that.

Dee K.

Yelp
No go zone!! Very quiet location. Got up to register and girl said they were only talking online orders. What an inconvenience for people who walk in. I'm not giving my credit card info or personal details online. Nope Nada Zip

Yelp
It was tasty but kind of a grim affair during the endless pandemic. You can eat inside on every-other table, but since October is beautiful in NC there is also a lot of outdoor seating around the plaza. When I was there, nobody else was eating inside. But all staff and customers were responsible with their face masks. The Japanese noodles with steak were nice, but I feel like not as much as would fill a dine-in ceramic bowl.
google avatar

Diane W.

Yelp
We got the chicken pad Thai and the Japanese pan noodles with marinated steak. The pad Thai was super flavorful but not very saucy. I wouldn't call it a traditional pad Thai but it was very good. The pan noodles are flavorful too and very thick. Our food was still piping hot after driving 15 min home.

Yelp
Ordered the Chicken Parm and I'm 100% sure they served me a tv dinner. Hands down WORST meal I've ever had

Yelp
ALWAYS CHECK WHAT YOU GET BEFORE LEAVING THE PLACE!!! I rarely wrote reviews but I was so disappointed. This was the 3rd time they forgot to give me the protein portion. It was at 3:38pm and the place was not busy at all. How is it possible to forget to put in the protein that stands for 43% of the whole order??? Excuse me, it's not rocket science. It's such a disappointment that after a damn long surgery of bone marrow transplantation I only got this bowl of plain spaghetti. For the first 2 times, I thought maybe they were just too busy and I should just make allowances for their faults. But with what costs? Now it's my kara--I paid them to make the same mistake again. From now on, I'll never trust them again. Who can forget an element that takes up 43% of the whole thing? So ridiculous.
google avatar

Yelp
The Food is always hot, fresh and delicious! It is so full of flavor! I love it and I was just recently introduced to it about a month ago. I can't get enough. I'm going down the menu and will try everything! It's an awesome alternative to the "same of same" takeout.

Dwayne M.

Yelp
Arrived at store at 8:20pm. Give my order and wanted to eat-in but was told I cant because they're closing at 9 and have to clean up. Had a look of confusion because before closing , it shouldn't have been a problem.

Yelp
A-OK. Standardized, decent, reliable, always the same as before. It's a chain restaurant with a large variety of dishes centered around noodles, from pad thai (pictured) to mac and cheese. Three stars for being very assuredly average. The dishes sometimes feel like the same noodles with different dressings/sauces and different combinations of the same toppings. The toppings and noodles don't seem cohesive, and the ingredients seem to be tossed together at the very end. But the bright side of that is that the dishes are easily customizable to be vegetarian or use different meats.

Stephen F.

Yelp
while the food is good if you order food to go they do not give you enough dressing. I ordered a regular and got two half filled dressing cups. enough for 1/16 of the salad. seriously? otherwise just buy lettuce and add chicken. for 12 bucks.

Yelp
Overall, this place has continued to be a disappointment which I'm not sure if it's just this location because when we had one in chapel hill, it was pretty good. There are a lot of things to appreciate, such as their offering zucchini noodles for those of us on lower carb diets and one can eat here pretty healthily if you can get used to watery noodles. Granted, zucchini is a very waterlogged vegetable and it definitely takes a lot of draining and some wringing to keep it from being gloppy but I've had both the pesto and onion cream sauce and although I expect the sauce to make the noodles soft, I was not expecting to have a good 1/4" of water at the bottom. It made the chicken floppy and just felt like Iwas eating baby food. Maybe the cauliflower infused noodles will stand up better but it's pretty high in carbs still. I tried the regular Japanese pan noodles and I've had this before at a different location and it came with more sauce. The noodles were dry and the taste was off here. My daughter liked her macaroni cheese but I mean, what kid doesn't? The price is high for what you get especially since I've thrown out most of everything I've ordered except for the Veracruz salad which was fresh and well made. I can't really recommend this based on the noodle dishes I have tried but I would get a salad here in a pinch and Mac and cheese but only if my kid begged me to.

Yelp
I've ordered catering from Noodles & Company before, and the food was great for a decent price. So I decided to try out the actual store on a Saturday night for a quick noodle craving. Unfortunately, both the food and the service were TERRIBLE. When I arrived, there were three registers, and one had a sign saying "for online pick up orders." I waited at the other two registers for a couple minutes thinking that the person behind was just busy before realizing that the online order pick up register was the only one open. When I told my boyfriend this, the person behind the two closed registered audibly said "yeah, you didn't see that?" Rude, but I'm hungry and I want noodles. After I ordered and sat down, I looked for utensils but found that all the utensil holders had pink slime and debris sitting at the bottom. Ended up using disposable chopsticks. The dirty dishes section was also piling up and flowing into the utensil space. Once the food came, they apologized for not having any bowls (because they were all dirty). The food was definitely not as good as the catering I've ordered. There were several penne in my cavatappi, and it was so oily that I couldn't finish eating it. My boyfriend's dish was similarly oily but dry and unpalatable. Several hours later, we both felt unwell from the food. So definitely don't come here for bad food AND bad service! Only order catering, or go to Twisted Noodles for much better food!

Yelp
Outstanding - The mgr Rob with a warm , sincere greeting - just a great attitude over all . I ordered the orange chicken lo mein , It was absolutely delicious , flavorful and a perfect sized dinner portion. Great food and even more impressive service , and less than 10 bucks . Keep up the good work Rob and team - well done and well served. I will be back .

Yelp
I'm pretty convinced that the low star reviews of this location must be due to unique circumstances or just "off days" that occur everywhere and with everyone at times. That said, this place is great. I've been twice and I haven't yet been able to order anything other than the Pesto dish once I tried it the first time. It's so good. Hits the spot and so far has been consistent. Their Caesar salad is solid too. The staff is super friendly accompanied with big smiles. Though that might just be a North Carolina thing.
google avatar

Allison C.

Yelp
For the price, I can't really complain. Less than $7 for a regular portion. I'm not sure I'd recommend the small size to anyone unless you're not that hungry. I got the pad thai noodles, and it was ready in less than 10 minutes. I got it to go, and they handed me my order with a napkin and utensils. The workers are relatively nice, too. The noodles were definitely americanized but not in a bad way, I don't think. The noodles are pretty salty and sweet and oily, and I do wish they added more veggies. Not the healthiest option, but they label the calories so at least you know what you're getting yourself into. I've tried other noodles at events where they catered, and generally they were all pretty good but unhealthy. So be forewarned.

Garren D.

Yelp
Filthy. Dining room dirty, bathrooms disgusting. Will not stop at this location ever again.
google avatar

Sweta S.

Yelp
This is a good quick place to go to for salads and noodles. The zucchini noodles are a great addition to their menu. The pad Thai comes with too many sprouts. It is better when you ask for less.
google avatar

Rithi C.

Yelp
One of the highlights of Noodles & Co is their variety of options. Japanese, Thai, Korean, and Italian are just a sample of what they have to offer. I'm particularly fond of their positive motto: "Celebrate your culture, or someone else's!" My favorite selections are the Korean meatballs and the Japanese noodle bowl. Be sure to get at least the regular size, because the portions tend to run small. Their three dessert options (carrot cake, tres leches, and chocolate cake) are enough to satisfy a sweet tooth, but are much too small for their price. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and your food will be brought to you by one of the waiters/waitresses. The booths have power outlets and you are welcome to use the free wifi. I definitely recommend coming here for lunch or dinner and getting some work done when the place isn't too busy. This is an excellent venue and it deserves four stars. If the portion sizes were larger, I would be happy to give it another star.
google avatar

Robbie C.

Yelp
This is a chain that serves an unusual mix of foods from Japanese to Italian. I like that you can customize. I ordered the penne rosa with parm and left out the fungus (shrooms). I suggest you start out with small bowl and maybe a side salad. Unless you have big appetite! The small sized bowl was fine for lunch. This location is walking distance from Duke and has several fast food type places in same strip mall. Gets busy at lunch time.

Yelp
Today's experience has changed my views of Noodles & Co. I'm not a pasta fan, but I like Asian noodles, and so that's usually what I stick to when I go to Noodles & Co. I've tried some other people's food and I think that I'm right about the Asian thing. Normally I get the Pad Thai with chicken. After looking at the nutrition information for this dish, I will never get it again. This, however, isn't such a problem since it's not that great (when you compare it to a real Thai restaurant). I mean, to me, it's the best dish on the menu, but it's nothing that would make me come back. But today I had the BBQ Chicken Salad. Let me tell you, this is where Noodles & Co is awesome! They have great salads (who'da thunkit?) and I'd be more than happy to return again for another delicious & fresh salad. My coworker swears by the Med Salad (which has some pasta in it for those die-hard pasta lovers) and she adds steak. It looks pretty sweet too. I love that there's enough dressing without hiding the flavor of the actual ingredients in the salad. PLUS the people there are super-friendly! I really think that customer service is just one of those things that's getting lost in quick-service food. The people at Noodles & Co. were really nice even when the line stretches all the way back to the door. The only thing is that I wish they'd let you "build your own dish" sort of thing. Something like a blend between Mongolian BBQ and what they have now. There are just so many options I don't know what to get or how to alter it to be the thing I really wanted to eat. Note: after looking at the nutritional information just skip the sandwiches, beef stroganoff, and mac 'n cheese. I don't think the Mac 'n Cheese is all that good and for the amount of calories & carbs, it's just not worth it. Go get yourself some donuts at Dunkin Donuts next door.

Yelp
Service was quick and Manager was upbeat and working with his team behind the counter, which i found this amusing and refreshing. Cashier stated he's always like that which is great in any work environment. Food was brought out by John who was personable and we shared brief conversation. My chicken noodle soup was delicious and perfect with feeling under the weather. As i was leaving the manager was pleasant in wishing a great day! Will return to this location when i come back to Durham. :) thank you Noodles & Co.

Yelp
I'm always wary about American places trying to do Asian pastas. So if you want like Americanized pad thais or curries or whatever it is they tried to make somewhere oriental, go for it. To me these flavors just taste like someone squirted some giant bottle of ASIAN X syrup over the noodles. That's just me though. If you like ASIAN X syrup, go for those options and toss in your fav shrimp/chicken or tofu if you want. I stuck with something more Italian since if you're gonna go American, go Italian. I don't remember what I had anymore but I know it's one of those light on cream ones but not the spaghetti ones. That wasn't too bad. Portions are not bad sized so you don't get too full however I felt the flavors were a little bland and tiresome so you MAY get tired of the flavor. I thought the ambiance was fine. I imagine its nuts when college starts up. Service was fine. Friendly enough staff and pretty clean establishment.

Yelp
Food: 3 Service: 4 Value: 3 Overall: There doesn't seem to be any particular cuisine here, other than "noodles", so you can have pasta, ramen, udon, whatever. It's on Erwin street, fairly close to Duke campus. Food: I had the pork ramen and pot stickers. The food was fine, although the pork ramen broth was way too salty. There wasn't actually that much food in the bowl either. The pot stickers were fine, though again serving size was small. Service: The staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining what the different food options were. The wait in line wasn't very long. In addition, they bring your food to you after you get your number. Value: Prices are fairly high given the mediocre quality of the food and the small portions. Not a great value.

Yelp
Several really good, healthy options, especially for fast food! They allow substitutions and deletions from their menu items, which is great. I'm currently trying a vegan diet, and have been able to eat there with the family and happily stay on track.

Willis B.

Yelp
Currently online orders only, weird considering you can eat in store. The pastas we had were both great, the pesto tortellini was awesome. Do NOT get the tomato soup tho... its hot garbagio. Cocacola mixed fountain in store.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing everything was loaded with flavor . Meatballs perfect Mac and cheese perfect . Pasta perfect . Chicken crusted with parm wow just wow . All the food was perfect but if they wanna throw a little more broccoli in I wouldn't be mad.
google avatar

Chelia S.

Yelp
Before going here I was thinking this was more of a dine-in spot. And you certainly can, But it is more a fast-food/carry-out/casual dine spot. Still, I liked it for what it was. I had the Chinese chicken chop salad. The chicken was a tad scarce, but overall was pretty good. Portions & quality were decent for the price. I would certainly return here if in the area, but can't say I would seek it out. I would recommend it as a quick-lunch spot.

Britain D.

Yelp
They NEVER put any sauce on the Pene Rosa. It's basically just noodles with no sauce by the time I get it. I have to ask for extra sauce, which costs extra, and I barely get any extra too. This happens every time and I'm sure it happens with the other dishes too. Extremely frustrating. This time, the extra sauce I got wasn't even the sauce for my dish. Horrible.

Yelp
My husband and I go here all the time for online orders - we love the food. However the management at this location clearly has some issues. Often they are understaffed or running nearly an hour behind ("ready times") on online orders. This has happened multiple times, today being one of them. When we finally got our food it was cold so it had clearly been ready for awhile but whoever was packaging could not keep up. Kitchen staff is always super friendly and hardworking and explains the situation but it sounds like management is never available to help out when there are issues with employees showing up or whatever else. Often disappointed with this location.

Yelp
I've been to a few Noodles & Company locations. This particular location has the freshest food and good service overall. Parking can be a challenge at times. However, I suggest parking in the garage area behind the building.

Yelp
I do doordash and i went there to pick a order They had me waiting for a order 40 minutes , and never do the order .. 4 people come after me and they do the order quickly.. they are Racist.. never come to this place..

Yelp
If you want pad thai, go to a Thai restaurant. Same goes for everything else on menu (although we only tried Thai, Japanese and Italian). This is a least common denominator restaurant that produces mediocre versions of everything. I knew it would be sucky, but was talked into going. It was suckier than I thought. I had the pad thai and it was just missing something... something, like, flavor. After several bites, I got pouty (I hate having shitty meals) and my wife swapped her "indonesian" noodles with me - better but still cooked with the primar intention to offend as few people as possible. Mealy shrimp, chicken breast cooked to perfection - and then about another 30 minutes until it was a cracker. Next time I'm heading into the Dunkin Donuts next door to get the equivalent calorie count in glazed donuts... and then walking 6 blocks to the hospital for an emergency room insulin shot - a much dining decision and free entertainment for the evening!
google avatar

Ryu D.

Yelp
They have zucchini noodles here! Great keto option for those on the keto diet!
google avatar

Satridia J.

Yelp
Went here several times for a quick lunch. The food, ambience, and service are okay. Don't expect anything authentic though. I'm an Indonesian, and their Indonesian peanut sauté is basically a disgrace for just calling it an Indonesian food! Will not give my approval for sure! Just come here for a cheap, casual, Americanized Asian slash Italian food and you'll be okay.
google avatar

Kat M.

Yelp
I can admit it. I go to Noodles & Co almost every week for lunch with my lady friends. And we are not alone. This restaurant is busy in the afternoons with foot traffic from Duke. One of the things that makes me keep coming back to Noodles & Co is the ability to customize the dishes. I have never encountered any resistance to swapping ingredients or removing the cream from a sauce even! I find the employees to be very friendly, the veggies to be fresh and the food consistent (if yes, a bit on the bland side for a hot sauce aficionado like myself). I typically order the trio with the tomato basil bisque and Pesto Cavatappi with a chicken breast. The American and Italian dishes are the best bets here in my opinion. My friends swear by the Penne Rosa and the whole grain Tuscan linguine. In the Asian department, I can only recommend the Japanese pan noodles. I have had some of the Thai dishes but I don't think they have fish sauce in their kitchens or something bc the pad thai is always missing that little kick it needs (besides the one from the Sriracha hot sauce on the tables. Same w the Thai curry soup. Bland and boring.
google avatar

Rebecca C.

Yelp
I ordered the "Thai Hot Pot", which came with two flat breads and not much noodles and not too generous amount of chicken and pork. I suspected that we were eating at "Watery Soup & Company". The flavor was bland and I am going to extend the same feeling towards the rest of the Asian noodle entrees. Most of the money I paid for the "Thai Hot Pot", which was $8.50, prob went to the branding of the Restaurant name and the location, and not the actual ingredients. If you have a sophisticated palate or standard for Thai food (or even reasonable), probably should lower it before ordering from here. Ha, I just checked their website and saw the recommendation for Thai Hot Pot: "Our 30-ingredient curry...", maybe a muted 30-ingredient... My boyfriend enjoyed his "Alfredo MontAmore", the portion, taste, especially the hearty four-cheese blend and not-so-bad meatballs that he substituted for the grilled chicken. Noodles& can accomplish Italian and American noodle entrees well, even tastefully, while its Asian entrees are abysmal. (I almost really cried through eating my sad bowl) The service was nice. The lady behind the counter greeted us as soon as we walked up. And the lady who took our order on the phone was courteous and patient.

Yelp
i have yet to have a bowl of noodles that i actually like. the mac n cheese is basic. i ended up adding some more to it to jazz it up. The japanese pan fried noodles are more sour than sweet. i'll try it again but maybe something they're more well known for. plus points for friendly service, fast cooking, and good location.
google avatar

Yelp
Variety: salads, sandwiches, noodle bowls, soups, and pasta Price: $9 plus any sides (or massive rice crispy treats!) Wait: longer than you would expect, since they make it fresh for you Ambiance: I prefer to take out - it's very generic inside (cold and bare bones) Overall experience? Middle of the road. Nothing bad about it, but I bought the featured meal (Thai hot pot) and it was nothing to write home about. If you're looking for a fresh and low priced meal during the work day, this won't disappoint - but if you have time, I would keep searching for something a bit more interesting!
google avatar

Hao H.

Yelp
I get takeout from Noodles & Company fairly regularly. The food tastes decent for a pseudo-fast food joint, but this is the third time in 6 months I've ordered a protein (~$3) and come home to find out they didn't actually put it in. I think the problem with this Noodles & Company location is that the employee turnover rate is so quick -- I'm always seeing new faces.
google avatar

Lola M.

Yelp
This is a place I count on for a quick, uncomplicated and reliably good dish of noodles. That's it. As I stood briefly gazing at the menu earlier today, deciding between my two favorites, an employee rushed up to me, asked whether it was my first time here. I answered that no it was not. Do you have any questions, she continued. No, I answered, clearly wishing to return to my decision making process--Japanese pan noodles or Indonesian peanut sauté? She would not let go and proceeded to tell me about the new menu items, those that would only be available for a while, blah blah blah. C'mon, this is not a high dining experience here. Learn from your customer's cues--I can read a menu, and I don't have questions. Keep it simple!
google avatar

Rebecca R.

Yelp
Noodles & Company is really close to my work which makes it convenient. They are also fairly quick which is good because I usually only have a little bit of time for lunch when I can go out. I've had a few different things here. Today I had the spicy chicken Caesar salad sandwich with the tomato cucumber salad. The wrap was good. I rally enjoyed the dressing and it wasn't too spicy. The pita it was in was nice and soft. The tomato cucumber salad could have used a little more flavor. I was expecting more of a vinegary flavor but couldn't taste any. The portions could have been a little bigger too. I have also had the Mac and cheese (yummy!) and the pasta fresca which is also tasty. Other pluses are they have very large desserts and have the drink machine that makes over 100 different drinks.
google avatar

Candace S.

Yelp
After the doctor appt at VA medical center, we came here for dinner. We ordered two different kind of noodle dishes. One is under cooked, another one is not hot which you can tell that the noodle has been sitting there for sometime already! A side dish- soup costs $1, it is really a sip size soup! XD It is an OK restaurant if you are not critical on noodles. But for us, we probably will not go back again.

Yelp
It's hard to believe they could find space for yet another restaurant in this already jam packed plaza - but I'm happy they did! Noodles & Co. has been pretty busy since opening and I almost always take that as a good sign. One of my favorite items so far is the Med Salad with its zippy yogurt dressing. Fresh, light and satisfying, with or without the addition of chicken, tofu or steak. Currently the Pasta Fresca and the Penne Rosa are in a duel for 2nd place. I really wanted to like the lettuce wraps but they were kinda boring and I'd probably pass on them next time. Great dining option for vegetarians!

Yelp
Second visit - much better. Upgrading to 3 stars. (this is for the Noodles in CH) Pretty disappointed. The menu is novel, interesting and diverse. There are vegetarian options. However, I went looking for lower calorie vegetarian options and struggled to find something to eat, and there was only one whole grain option. I would have asked the order-taker for substitutions., but she was rude, so I didn't bother. Like so many many other restaurants, the menu options LOOK healthy and enticing , but the food itself is bland and stale. There's a lot of hype in these menus. Why can't some of these placess get organic / local ingredients? It would be an incredible improvement. Most of the "fresh" veggies taste old, dry or tasteless..... The meal that I got at noodles was okay, but nothing special.
