Comedian Aparna Nancherla Reads Yelp Reviews for Fun | Eater

"A restaurant chain she’s seen outside her hometown (she’s unsure how widely national it is) that packs many noodle styles and cuisines into a single menu; she likes it for offering all types of noodles in one place, even if the food feels mass-produced and fast-casual, and notes there are at least a few locations she’s encountered." - Greg Morabito

Absolutely disgusted with the service my wife and I received from this company. For starters we ordered from DoorDash food came quick, not complaining on that end of it. However, after receiving my food, we started eating and about halfway through my meal. I pulled a piece of a napkin out that had hair on it out of my mouth. Tried calling the location about 10 times back to back with no answer just rang and then hung up on me. Tried calling to place an order and automatically hung up on me. this is the kind of service that I will receive from this point on then I will never do business with this location ever again, thoroughly disappointed in the service that was provided. I provided photos and if you look really closely, you can see the hair in the food next to the napkin.

I got the Japanese pan fried noodles, gyoza, BBQ pork Mac n cheese with a snoodle doodle cookie that was the size of my whole hand. Worth every penny : ] staff was pleasant and very sweet.

A huge chunks of meat and the eggs were practically cooked hard boiled. The noodles had a few strips of bamboo and probably about six kernels of corn and a same amount of green scallions

I never tried this place because a lot of people said it was really that good, I went today and got the Korean spicy steak noodle, buffalo chicken Mac and cheeses and the kids spaghetti. It was so delicious not greasy at all, very favorable, clean and great customer service. I will be back to fee my big back

The mac and cheese and spicy Korean steak noodles were both exceptional dishes. The evident use of fresh ingredients enhanced the flavors significantly. Furthermore, the presentation of each dish was visually appealing. Portion sizes were also generous and satisfying. Overall, a highly enjoyable dining experience.

Food Quality: My experience at Noodles & Co. was pretty average. The highlight was definitely the garlic bread - it was amazing, with a perfect balance of flavors and texture that left me wanting more. However, the mac and cheese left something to be desired; it was disappointingly dry, lacking the creamy, comforting quality one typically expects from this dish. Atmosphere: The seating arrangement could use some improvement. The layout felt somewhat cramped or inefficient, which detracted from the dining experience. It's one of those places where you might find yourself wishing for more space or a different setup to enjoy your meal comfortably. Convenience: A word on the parking - it's quite the hassle. The lot isn't designed for through traffic, which can make getting in and out a bit of a challenge. While this isn't directly the fault of Noodles & Co., it does impact the overall visit, making what should be a simple lunch or dinner more stressful than necessary. Overall: Noodles & Co. serves up an average meal with some notable highs and lows. The garlic bread is a must-try, but you might want to skip the mac and cheese unless you prefer it on the drier side. Just be prepared for a bit of a logistical challenge with parking and seating. If you're in the area and looking for a quick bite, it could still be worth a visit, but manage your expectations accordingly.

Beyond the shadow of a doubt this is the most disgusting Noodles & Company I've ever eaten at. I've eaten basil pesto cavatappi with chicken for decades at other Noodles restaurants both here and other states...this location far and away is WORST location I've ever eaten at!! The noodles were so overcooked that they tasted like paste. The taste of the sauce and spices was horrible, I didn't even eat half of it before I threw the rest away. We also had the roasted garlic tortellini with chicken...I didn't even think it was possible, but that was even worse. A couple of bites and that ended up in the trash too! I was looking forward to there being a Noodles & Company location in Surprise, but I am ONE AND DONE with this location. I think the franchisee or the corporate office needs to take a good look at this location at how the food is being prepared and who is preparing it. There are dozens of other restaurants available in the area, I would suggest you choose one of those instead and avoid Noodles & Company.

Google
I placed an order online and the time it would be ready was 10 min. I arrived 5 min early and they promptly acknowledged me and then said it would be another min or so. In about 2 min I was handed my order which was earlier than the promised time. Very pleasant staff. I ordered the lemon garlic shrimp scampi. It was very good. I will be back.

Yelp
Got food to-go from here on our way home from a road trip. Super easy to order online. Food was piping hot & fresh, no issues with our order. The cheese tortellini with veggies & light cream sauce 10/10 and the beef ramen noodles 10/10. Portions were so large we couldn't even finish. Wish we had one closer to us in San Diego!

Yelp
I've tried a few different noodle dishes here. Most of them were decent, but not anything special. I like the Korean noodles the best. Last time though, I ordered the BBQ pulled pork mac and cheese. I am a big pulled pork fan and while I wasn't expecting anything spectacular from a restaurant that doesn't specialize in BBQ, I found it inedible. It tasted like it was doused too heavily in liquid smoke, and like I was straight up eating a campfire. The smoke flavor overwhelmed everything else. Really unpleasant and disappointing.

Yelp
Clean and fast pasta. Decent service, good food, and the portions are perfect for someone who doesn't eat much as me.

Yelp
If you in the mood for some pasta or noodles at a decent price this is a good place to go. I came here at night and ordered to go. I got the chicken bacon Alfredo with noodles. It was pretty good. Service was decent. And the place is spacious. However they almost forgot one order so they quickly came out to the parking lot to give to us which was nice.

Yelp
Haven't been into a N&C in a long time and sadly I remember why. For me I got the roasted garlic parm tortellini with the parm chicken and my hubs got the pesto. His was enjoyable but slightly overcooked. For me, it was the opposite: pasta was way overcooked, pasta water was not salted and the entire dish was so bland! I remember the Asian dishes actually be decent so if I find myself needing a quick bite and I'm nearby I may consider getting ramen and the Korean meatballs.

Yelp
The food was just okay. I feel I was short handed. They advertise a full bowl on their website but feel I only got half of what they advertise. I feel if they advertise a full bowl of food, that's what the customer should get.

Yelp
Food is decent. Portions are pretty small, but it's mostly noodles so it's pretty filling. Ramen, Mac n cheese and the Japanese noodles are all good dishes. Shout out to Mary who is super nice and helped me with my order.

Yelp
Clean location as they are new. Customer service 5 stars. They even have a drive-thru! Accommodated our gluten allergy concerns. We have only been to Noodles and Company once in the Arrowhead area. The manager was the same guy we had there who now transferred here. Really nice. I picked up a late night snack surprise for the girls. A gluten-free noodle bowl with Alfredo sauce. Dylan handed me a bag with a friendly message written. I think little things like that are super cool. As far as the Noodles, still underwhelming. One thing they need to do is strain the noodles better so everything isn't so watery. Not very much for just over $10. That doesn't include any breadsticks or parm. We probably paid a bit more for gluten-free noodles. They are cute large shells. Basic and bland. They have a pretty good selection of food on their menu. The girls gobbled them up, but they really don't want to go back. I think they are handy for those on the go who can eat anything on the menu. If you are celiac, eat at your own risk. Our last experience at the other location we had elbow macaroni in our broccoli and our gluten-free shell noodles. I am not sure how serious they are trained and practice cross contamination safety in the back. May be better for those who just choose to eat gluten-free not due to an allergy. I still recommend giving them a try. You might find something yummy.

Yelp
I don't know why it's so hard to read directions but it's done every time we order from uber here. What is the point of the DUO order option. If you order it and don't get the DUO!? It's not a duo then is it. It's an Indo. (Individual) don't. Use. Uber. If. You. Can't. Do. The. Order. Correctly.

Yelp
Got Door Dash to deliver and had the mushroom grilled chicken & pesto with gluten free pasta shells. The dish had a generous portion of pasta, and it was great quality gluten free pasta. The chicken portion was a bit skimpy, and the mushroom were barely there at all. Pesto was delicious. The dish was tasty, just needed a bit more of the main ingredients.

Yelp
This was my first time coming to this noodle co location and I'm now hooked. Reason why ? I haven't met such a since down to earth chick in a long time. I came in with my toddler and we know toddlers can't " wait " Teagan offered my 3 year old daughter a coloring sheet while we wait. She was so sweet and understanding I hope I see her next time . She def deserves a huge raise . Thank you Teagan !

Yelp
Food was room temperature, got shorted 2 potstickers, serving size was small, garlic bread was so salty we couldn't eat it. Will not return. Way overpriced!

Yelp
Friendly staff, and good selection of noodles and protein, clean bright setting , and my Japanese Udon Noodles where pretty tasty.

Yelp
We recently moved to Surprise, and as empty nesters, we've been dining out daily, enjoying about 90% of our wonderful local restaurants. So, giving a place 2 stars felt like a huge disappointment. The food here was shockingly overpriced for Arizona and barely mediocre...I could've sworn I was back in California! I'm usually open to giving places a second shot, but I honestly don't see how they could improve so probably won't need to come back with so many other wonderful options. Everything is made-to-order so for it to arrive lukewarm was tough to excuse how can you mess up pasta! The only reason I bumped it to 2 stars was the clean space and the staff's genuine effort. With inflation hitting hard, we hate spending our hard-earned cash on "just okay." Hope this honest review helps steer others toward better dining experiences!

Yelp
They must boil all the egg noodles in the morning. I had stroganoff and someone else had chicken soup. He beef and sauce was good but sparse. Noodles were cold and dry. Wouldn't go back for 30.00 I was very disappointed but the staff was ok and they are not taking cash now. Don't waste your time

Yelp
I just want to say that these reviews don't do this place justice. It is certainly not nice Italian restaurant quality, but what do you expect. I ordered the pasta Fresca with chicken, and it was ready within 5 minutes. The service and staff were amazing. People were complaining about watery pasta, and either they were lying or the place has improved since the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. The flavors were great. It could've used more sauce, but for $8 it was more than worth the price. It was delivered in a couple minutes and gone in a couple minutes.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time. I've been to one in Peoria years ago. The drive through pick up option was super convenient. The were within a few minutes of the time I was quoted and the service was great. The lady running the drive through was pleasant and nice. I ordered the Mac and cheese with a side of extra sauce. I was a bit underwhelmed by it. Tasted like watered down velveta. Bland and the noodles weren't quite cooked enough it seemed like. Also created an account from the ordering paid but yet by account doesn't show my order so I guess I don't get points since I can manually enter it. Hopefully the next couple of menu items I decide to try will be better.
