I went to Noodles & Company at 10:45 PM, well before closing time (they close at 11), and was told they "won't cook anything" because they're "not taking in-person orders." Instead, they said I had to order online--but when I tried to place an order, they weren't accepting online orders either.
So let me get this straight:
I'm standing there, in the store, ready to pay, ready to eat, and your staff just shrugs and refuses to serve me? What kind of lazy, half-closed nonsense is that?
If you're open until 11, you should be accepting orders until 11. Not turning people away because the staff wants to get out early. And don't hide behind the "online orders only" excuse if you're not even allowing those either.
Horrible customer service. No courtesy, no explanation, just a bunch of employees who clearly didn't want to do their jobs. I've never felt so blatantly dismissed as a customer.
Noodles & Company, fix your store policies or your staff, because this is not how a business that respects its customers operates.
