Google
Very good food for the area. Recommend the spicy fried fish and soup dumplings. The spicy wontons had too much flour and Lacked some flavor but overall everything was great and service was top notch. Price is a little high but there are not many dumplings and noodle restaurants in the area.

Celine D.

Google
The soup dumplings were HUGE, I’ve never had soup dumplings this big before haha but they were good! So many options to choose from on the menu. We got the soup dumplings, spicy wontons, noodles and scallion pancakes. The prices were good and food portions were large. I think they just opened a few months ago. Good to know there’s a dumpling place nearby :) Will definitely come back and try the ramen next time.

Jessica D.

Google
This was my first time here, I think I may return on another visit here. I have to make sure to pull up the menu before I go because the waitstaff kept pressuring us to order. I was not a fan. Aside from that the food was great! We got the crispy chicken, spicy sesame ramen, black garlic oil ramen, wonton soup, combination rice noodles and steamed pork dumplings.

Google
Such a gem in Allen! The mom’s tofu had the perfect spicy, savory flavor, and the crispy spicy fried fish was a standout — so good and addicting. Everything we tried was flavorful and cooked perfectly.

Ashley A.

Google
Insanely good! Our second visit here, ordered the pork soup dumplings again which are delicious. We also had the Szechuan boiled beef which is highly recommended especially if you like spicy food. Get it with noodles instead of rice.

Ashley

Google
This restaurant serves delicious dumplings, soups, and noodle/rice dishes. Everything we ordered came out hot and fresh.

Google
We love this place! Always delicious. I like to try something new every time and haven't been disappointed yet. The soup dumplings are the perfect comfort food and the cheese bao is to die for. Dessert bao is adorable. Highly recommend!

Google
Best soup dumplings I’ve ever had! Staff is super friendly! Food comes out fast! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
We stopped here after a day of exploring the area. I was craving good Orange chicken! This place is DELICIOUS! We were immediately greeted by the super friendly staff. Service was great. They were helpful and so attentive! We both ordered the orange chicken. It was so authentic and you could tell it was made with love. We also ordered crab rangoons (under a different name I have sadly forgotten on the menu -- maybe cream cheese dumplings?) and they were to DIE for with generous portions! Ambience is laid back and clean with a cozy authentic vibe. I ordered some HAND MADE bao buns to go and I cannot wait to try them later! Portions are very generous here. We could have split a meal! We will have some yummy leftovers for later. What a great find for delicious Chinese food!

Yelp
Overall pretty decent place that we stumbled upon. Everything seems new and clean. Service was friendly and we went with some of their recommendations. Food was good. + Fried cheese bao was good + Ramen was tasty and loved the thick chewy noodles = Potstickers were ok = Xiaolong bao was a little on the sweet side

Yelp
Atmosphere: Noodle and Dumpling Time is more about the food than the vibe. The interior design could use some love--the mix of warm yellow bulbs and harsh white fluorescent lights clash and hurt the eyes. On the bright side, it's very clean--much cleaner than you'd expect from a casual dumpling spot. Food: The food was a great surprise despite the dull atmosphere. The soup dumplings were FAT--Texas-sized--and a great value for how big they are. Flavor could be stronger, but their size and freshness made up for it. The pork belly with garlic was healthy, flavorful, and not greasy. And the cheese bread balls? Awesome. The cheese pull could stretch forever. Tips for diners: * Eat fast--food cools down quicker than expected. * Portions are generous (come hungry). * Dumplings are made fresh and fat--totally worth it. Service & allergy safety: This is where they really earned my respect. I have a severe peanut allergy, and at Kitchen Master in Frisco I was hospitalized and almost died because they "forgot" if peanuts were in the dish. Ever since, I'm cautious. Here, the staff went above and beyond to confirm my food was safe. That level of care and attention means everything to me, and it's the kind of service that makes me want to come back. Suggestions for improvement: * Replace the fluorescent bulbs with warm yellow ones for a more comfortable vibe. * Add more Chinese-inspired décor--more red for vibrance and good fortune. * Boost the flavor of the soup dumplings to match their impressive size. Final thoughts: Don't come here expecting a fancy vibe--come for the food and the people. Fresh, fat dumplings, generous portions, and staff who actually care about your safety. For me, that makes this spot stand out.

Yelp
Walking into noodles and dumpling time, the workers are friendly and attentive. Their menu has many options and we ordered 4 things total. I will say I was not too impressed with the food, but 2/4 things we got were good. For our apps, we got the garlic pork belly and the spicy wontons. The garlic pork belly was good. The flavor was enjoyable and the meat was soft. The wontons were a bit bland and not spicy. For our entrees we ordered the Mongolian beef with chicken and the braised beef noodle soup. The Mongolian dish was not the best and the side of fried rice also lacked in flavor. The braised beef noodle soup was great though. The noodles were soft and chewy and the broth was very homey. Overall the customer service was great and so was the environment, but the food, not so much. The noodles were definitely tasty which is the specialty, but anything else I probably would not order.

Yelp
I stopped by with family to check out a new dumpling spot. We tried the chicken noodle soup, pork xia long bao, and chicken xia long bao. The chicken noodle soup came out quickly, before the soup dumplings which required more time. It was piping hot. The noodles were especially delicious. The broth had a pleasant savory flavor. There was plenty of chicken in the soup. The cheese bao appetizer was delicious. It was fried but not greasy. The bao were generously sized. The chicken xai long bao was delicious. The dumpling was thick in certain parts and thin in others. The chicken has a delicate and juicy flavor. I didn't love the dipping sauce it came with. I can't place the flavor that was overpowering; perhaps it was being a vinegar taste. The pork dumplings tasted similar to the chicken and were equally delicious. The main difference I could place was the flavor of the broth. Interior decorations were minimalistic and added an authentic Asian feel to our experience. Our server was attentive and checked in on us several times during our dining experience. Pricing was very fair for the portion sizes. Highly recommend!

Yelp
My daughter and I tried this place today. We are Chinese and Japanese combined. As you can see from the photo, the two of us ordered enough food for 6-8 people. We wanted to try several menu items to determine if this is a legit Chinese restaurant. The verdict? 100% legit! Food was EXCELLENT!!! Their version of the Tonkotsu ramen was more Chinese than Japanese and it was very, VERY good with homemade noodles. Everything on our table was spot on explosion of Flavors! Restaurant was very clean and service was top notched!

Yelp
Pleasant atmosphere. Good service and food. Menu has good varieties to choose from, easy to order.

Yelp
When they first opened, we were regulars, but after our last four visits in a row, we've officially called it quits. Each visit has somehow gotten worse, and while we kept hoping things would turn around, they just... haven't. Our last meal was: colorful combo dumplings, sweet and sour chicken, and fried shrimp noodles. Sounds delicious, right? Too bad we didn't enjoy it -- we threw most of it in the trash. The colorful dumplings should have been beef, chicken and vegetable. They all had the same mushy appearance and no flavor (no obvious differences). As for the chicken, while you can't always tell if a restaurant is serving frozen meat just by looking at it, the texture and batter (and sauce) were definitely not what it used to be--something is off. We thought if we tried something completely different than our usual order.. maybe we could remain loyal customers. We ordered the fried noodles with shrimp... and let's just say it was our last. The ginger was so overpowering! It was awful. They need to go back to the quality of food when they first opened. Eating out is too expensive and there's too much competition in this area to settle for eating at Noodles & Dumpling Time.

Yelp
Ordered the pork xiao baos, and pork Beijing noodles. Definitely does not lack flavor! The pork in the xiao baos were huge and packed with juice. The noodles also had a very nice flavor. Portions were good. Casual dining and plenty of seating. Plenty of parking in this plaza. Even though there was a message on the menu that the xiao baos may take a moment to come out, they still came out pretty quick.

Yelp
Finally! Authentic Chinese food in this area! We started with cucumber salad app and boy it was so refreshing. I love their take on this small dish. The cilantro and lightly sprinkled red onions were a nice touch! We ordered a the popcorn chicken (Szechuan) and it was a mountain of delicious crispy morsels with a little heat! Comes with a little bowl of rice which was perfect to pair with this dish. Of course we needed to get pork and cabbage pan fried dumplings... the crackly crisp that comes from the bottom of the pan.. we were squealing with delight! The filling was savory and very flavorful. If you dip it in the chili oil, brings the flavor to yet another level. Plus the dumplings are beautifully wrapped and cute little bundles. (Look like little bok choy!) Overall we left with full bellies and will be back for sure to try the noodle dishes.

Yelp
Was in the area & ordered lunch to-go around the holidays, before this place started trending downward. Friendly staff; cucumber salad lacked any taste/flavor & the hot & sour soup tasted more like sour soup. The XLB skin was too thick for my taste but it was juicy & the staff was friendly.

Yelp
This seems to be a Chinese restaurant that just opened several months ago. Originally I wanted to order the Colorful Combo dumplings, but on the menu at the restaurant it said "1 color at a time"? I'm not sure what that meant, so I ended up not ordering. I ordered eggplant & green beans as planned, and Kung Fu braised pork in replacement of Colorful Combo dumplings because the picture on the menu looked good. I enjoyed the eggplant & green beans. It's nicely seasoned and pretty authentic. It came with rice (not pictured). The Kung Fu braised pork was quite a different story. The pork felt plain and a little dry. They were not supposed to go with broccoli. Usually they go with bak choy. The buns were fine though - soft and fresh. Both were reasonable portions for the price. If I come here again, I'd reorder eggplant & green beans or try other vegetarian dishes, but only if they maintain the same good quality.

Katy S.

Yelp
Food was ok. Don't think their noodles are served correctly. Their ramen noodles & regular noodles are the same, no distinction. I love ramen so I know ramen. When questioned about it, the lady just said those are their ramen, I hate fat noodles...not impress esp with the lady server who didn't care....last time I'll eat there.

Yelp
We recently ordered pickup from Noodles and Dumpling Time in Allen and overall had a positive experience. We got the chicken noodles (similar to lo mein), steamed dumplings, and the curry chicken noodles (lo mein with curry sauce). The food was good and met our expectations, though the noodles were a bit greasy for our taste. Next time will just order the dumplings. the steam dumplings were very fresh and delicious would order a plethora of those. One highlight was their smooth online ordering system, which made placing and paying for our order quick and convenient. Pickup was efficient, and they got our order correct the first time--always a plus! If you're looking for quick and tasty noodles and dumplings, this spot is worth checking out.

Yelp
Giving this spot 3.8 stars! Soup dumplings are big and juicy, not the flavor we were expecting but it could have been for the pork ones only. It had a very strong cardamom or star anise flavor. We couldn't get past it.. The meat inside was nice and tender though. Moving on to the stir fried noodles, oh my gosh I could not stop eating it. This dish was bomb, all the meats and seafood we got with it was tender and they were big pieces. Our Favorite dish out of everything. The shrimp dumplings were huge and full of big pieces of shrimp, flavor was eh but good amount of protein. The only thing we were pretty sad about was the stir fried green beans. FYI It is covered with the mouth numbing Sichuan peppers, so it is super spicy. No where on the menu did it say that, at least the in the English portion. More than half the table couldn't eat it AT ALL. So just a PSA to the owners, please disclose this on your menu. The staff was sweet and super family friendly, they had separate bowls and plates and utensils for children! We thought that was adorable. I would definitely try this spot one more time before taking it out of my list.

Yelp
My original plan was to come here with my family and I would pickup something else for me later as I am trying to stay low carb. That changed very quickly after I walked in. The first thing that stands out is the authenticity of this place it has the same kind of vibe that you might find in Hong Kong except that there is more space between the tables and it is quieter. The Mongolian Beef was very low carb (probably keto) if you request no rice (it comes on the side anyway). I asked for it very spicy and it was fantastic - it made my nose run a bit. Very, very tasty. My wife was hesitant to try the Orange Chicken as she has tried it in 3 different places that let her down. She decided to give it one more try and found what she had been looking for - very orangey with orange peels in the dish. Very well executed. The dumplings- both steamed and fried were met with applause- my wife expressed how happy she was that this place was here. She and my granddaughter daughter tried the Sam Sun dumplings (fried) and the Colorful Combo dumplings (steamed). At a table next to me a Mom was trying to convince her son to order some dumplings, but he was skeptical. I showed him our Colorful Combo and his eyes got wide and he decisively proclaimed "I want that!". The other thing I wanted to comment on was the outstanding staff. Very friendly and attentive. When my granddaughter got fidgety- she was supplied with some dumplings dough so she could practice making dumplings. We finished with some Jasmine tea - an excellent meal and a good time. This place is a hidden gem and one of the best Chinese restaurants around - and it is very affordable. Highly recommended.

Yelp
The food was great and very flavorful.service was awesome. Atmosphere nice. Highly recommend xiao long bao. It's so good

Iris D.

Yelp
This place was delicious. Great service and the spicy wontons were awesome! The spicy wontons rival some of the best spicy wontons in fancy restaurants. They also have the standard Chinese food items in addition to handmade noodles and some of the things that we ordered.

Brandyn C.

Yelp
They were rude for no reason AT ALL! They were nice to all the white people dinning-in. However, I ordered take out, they repeated my order back to me and STILL messed up my food. If you're black I WOULD NOT waste my money going here. It's overpriced and you can get this same food for less with way better service. It's clear they don't want black people at their establishment. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. Nothing special about this place. I requested my money back and they refused to refund my money. I'll be filing a police report against them since they want to be childish and unprofessional (to say the least...you sneaky POS)

Yelp
Hidden gem in Allen. The pan fried noodles were fantastic. We will definitely be back! Can't wait to try more dishes. The staff was so friendly as well.
google avatar

Martha B.

Yelp
Food was delicious and the portion sizes are big, definitely will be back to try the Szechuan Fish/Tofu and dumplings. Noodles were very good, soup dumpling a little too thick.
google avatar

Brandie P.

Yelp
We loved this place. Kinda has an upscale hole in the wall vibe. We didn't get mains because there was so much other stuff we wanted to try. Shrimp tempura was addictive! Fried cheese bao so good! We also tried the beef pan fried dumplings, soup dumplings, and beed pan fried bao. I wanted to go back the next day. So freaking good! Staff were so nice and the speed was insane! They so clearly communicate that they make things fresh so some time is needed but, even though we didn't wait at all, it would be worth the wait! Can't say enough good things!!!
google avatar

Brianna B.

Yelp
This place is amazing. The food is so delicious and worth the wait. They make the Bao and Dumplings by hand so it does take some time but they are delicious! The service was fantastic and the price was reasonable. Also I love their dessert baos. Will definitely be going back.

Christel P.

Yelp
This place is amazing! The staff was wonderful and welcoming. We had my 4 yr old son with us and our waitress made sure he was happy by giving him his own kiddie plate and bowls. The food..... ohhhh the flavors! My husband and I loved all the flavors! We ordered 4 different items to share to get a taste of a few things and we will definitely be back!!!
google avatar

Mia S.

Yelp
We just had lunch here and everything was so good and fresh! The interior was very clean and all of the staff was so nice. They also have a great weekday lunch special. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and looking for yummy authentic Chinese food :-)
google avatar

Steven R.

Yelp
Great dim sum. Made fresh. We love it. The pan fried bao buns were awesome. You could tell the noodles were made from scratch as well.
google avatar

Lily W.

Yelp
Found this place by chance and will definitely be coming back! Tried the fried chicken eggrolls, colorful combo dumplings and the steamed shrimp dumplings. Everything was fresh and delicious. There was definitely attention to detail and the ingredients were of great quality. Service was awesome! Food came out quick and they took the time to explain that all their food has no artificial colors or flavors. Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Jeff W.

Yelp
Food is amazing. Chicken egg rolls are incredible. The fried noodles were so good. The shrimp dumplings, steamed, were prob my favorite. Absolutely eat here
google avatar

Jeffrey W.

Yelp
Allen doesn't have many good Asian restaurants, so it's nice to have Noodles & Dumplings Time. All of the food is good, but especially their pan fried dumplings. Everything appears to be hand made, including their green onion pancakes, and their noodles. Please support them.
google avatar

Laurence R.

Yelp
Really good neighborhood Chinese. The wonton soup is different but good. The sesame Chechen was excellent as was the chicken fried rice. I would recommend this place for a good quick bite.
google avatar

Charles B.

Yelp
Food was amazing. Order came out quick and service was great as well. Definitely will come back to try out more of their diverse menu

Yelp
This is a fairly new restaurant. We are extremely hungry and went in to try many of their items on menu. We are born and raised Asian and has been in different part of US for the past 10 years. We ordered pork cabbage dumpling, pork xiao long bao, beef noodle and lastly wonton soup. Sad to say that all the items are extremely salty and full of msg taste. The xiao long bao has too heavy taste of soy sauce . The beef noodle is not authentic. Noodle itself is good. In fact , may be hand pulled by the shop. The beef chunk is not nice quality cut). The soup is just way off if they are trying to follow the Taiwanese beef noodle style. And the soup is also too salty. Not much beef stock flavour. Wonton skin is too thick. And the soup base is also too salty. The shop has lots of local. So I think they create this flavour according to the local preference in Allen and Allen doesn't have much Chinese restaurant choices. I will probably not come here again for a long time.

Cynthia C.

Yelp
Great service and even better food! Definitely coming back to Noodles & Dumpling time!
google avatar

Daniel Q.

Yelp
The food is amazing! I've went two times so far and never disappointed, the costumer service can improve but the food quality is on top
google avatar

Tanya J.

Yelp
This place has amazing soup dumplings!! Their food is freshly made and they very friendly service! This place will be a go to moving forward!
google avatar

Dennis S.

Yelp
Our first time here. I had the black garlic soup and it was incredible. The place is very clean and the service was perfect. We will return!
google avatar

Jenny S.

Yelp
We tried out this place that everyone is raving about and we thought it was just meh. The xiao long bao may have plenty of soup but the filling was just mediocre. The waitress misheard my order. The green beans were very tough.
google avatar

Shea B.

Yelp
Dumplings were delicious and the service was wonderful! The vegetable dumplings and the beef dumplings were our favorite. We will be returning!
google avatar

Mary Anne H.

Yelp
Did not order dumplings but my friend did and she enjoyed them. I ordered Sesame chicken. The sauce was too thick and overly sweet; a little too much for me. There was a lot of chicken and it was fried nicely. Some of the pieces were quite large but tender and good tasting. It was a Saturday night and the restaurant was very crowded. They do not have any alcohol and discourage bringing your own. I enjoyed the leftovers the next day. Service was a little overwhelmed so it was a little slow.

Jennifer M.

Yelp
We love to try dumpling places, so this made the list when it opened a few weeks ago. So glad we finally made our way to Allen to try it; it was definitely worth the drive. Service was attentive and so very friendly, and we enjoyed everything we ate. So fresh and . Flavorful. we will definitely be back to try more of the dumpling options.... Although it will be hard not to do a repeat of what we got this time!

Tony F.

Yelp
Service 5 stars Ambience and cleanness 5 stars Food (if expectations are Americanized) 4 stars Food (if expectations are towards authenticity) 1 star I was thinking I could get some authentic Chinese food based on the ambience. I was wrong.

andee t.

Yelp
Takeout Xiao long bao and pork dumplings tasted weird Eggplant veg eggplant was tough Beef noodle, noodle and soup was good but beef was real tough Dan Dan way too salty Fries noodle shrimp was ok. East wall is better. Skip. Go to wu wei din or bao bao8

Kathleen D.

Yelp
I don't usually give a bad review but the food was not good. The fried dumplings were not with good meat inside. Fried rice had a greasy flavor. The egg drop soup was so yellow and tasted strangely.

Bethany P.

Yelp
Food, service, ambiance were all 10/10. Finally a good and authentic place in Allen. Will definitely return to try more items on the menu!

Amy B.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh. We had sesame shrimp and shrimp dumplings. The dumplings take about 15 minutes because they are made from scratch to order. I cannot wait to go back here! Service and food were amazing.

Kyle A.

Yelp
I am legitimately shocked by the reviews this place has. Both the chicken and beef have that gelatinous, extremely soft texture that is honestly gag worthy. Even the bell peppers didn't taste like bell peppers. What an extremely disappointing waste of $15+ per entrée. Go elsewhere if you are seeking even decent Chinese food.

Cassidy C.

Yelp
Service was great. Food was great. Our waitress recommended the chive pancakes and I'm so glad she did. They were amazing. I got the curry rice noodles and my husband got Bao buns. We both loved what we got. Will definitely go back.

Jennica G.

Yelp
Great dumplings and Bao, with friendly and excellent service. Relaxing music playing and a very restful lunch spot. If I lived in Texas, I'd be in here every week for lunch. The beef dumplings were my favorite, but the pork bao was a close second. Originally from LA, and these dumplings are at the top of the list for good dumplings.

Jillian T.

Yelp
I don't know how this place is an established restaurant. Dumplings were undercooked, chicken had the consistency of a sponge and undercooked. How do you not know how to cook chicken? A 5th grader could have made a better meal. I even ordered a side of fried rice and there was not one single inclination of "fried" and was more of basic brown rice. Would not recommend to someone who hasn't eaten in 5 days.
