Noodles Bar and Dumpling - Review - Norcross - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Noodles Bar and Dumpling in Norcross is another modern, robot-serving restaurant here to desensitize us to the machine apocalypse scenario that ’90s movies made us fear. But you’re not here to broker A.I. peace talks, you’re here to fill your table with their large selection of dumplings, a few noodle bowls, fried rice, and specialties like their awesome hot and numbing beef. The billowy soft yet crispy-bottomed beef buns are the stars here—one order is sufficient for a whole meal. We also love this place because they offer wholesale dumplings (60 per bag), so you can enjoy their juicy pork and chive dumplings in the privacy of your own home." - Candy Hom

Amazing! They just opened and we were excited to check it out. We asked a waitress what her favorite was and she recommended the Braised Beef Noodle Soup…it was phenomenal. We also got the Spicy Cucumber Salad, which is almost a little pickled, and was so fresh. The Pork Soup Dumplings with the vinegar dipping sauce were great. We loved the Scallion Pancake and we got the Chicken Fried Rice too. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and the atmosphere was cute and cozy. We took home a lot of leftovers we were so full! We will absolutely be coming back!

My partner and I decided to try this place since we're craving noodles. As soon as we walked inside, we were greeted by the staff. They were very friendly. Our waiter was helpful explaining the food from their menu. We ordered wontons in chili sauce, soybean paste noodles, Taiwanese dry noodles with minced pork, and pork scallion buns. We've got our food, and the portions are so big and delicious! You'll definitely get your money's worth! I would definitely recommend it to my friends, and we would definitely be back to try more from their menu.

So excited to have Noodles Bar & Dumpling in Peachtree Corners. The dishes are cooked homestyle. The dumpling skins are soft, and the filling is meaty and well-flavored. They have one of my favorite dishes, Japanese tofu and veggie claypot. The tofu is so silky, and the chef is generous with the shrimp. The pork belly instantly melts in your mouth. We also tried the chef special that day, which was freshly picked bamboo sauteed with pork. It was surprisingly addictive. Portions are big. This will be my go-to spot in Peachtree Corners for Chinese comfort food.

I was excited to see this restaurant was open and was pumped to try it!! This place used to be called Kizuna and it was an all you can eat sushi restaurant. It is located in a shopping center with fast food restaurants, shopping and other dining establishments. The parking is very accommodating and ample. The inside is decorated nicely, not to fancy, but homey. The owner and greeter were both very attentive and helpful!! The menu looked very appealing, and I wasn't sure what to order. But, I started with an appetizer. The Cucumber Salad Spicy was just right. I love cucumbers, and the heat from the spice was just right. I will definitely order that again. I wanted to try the Lanzhou Noodle Spicy Soup, but since they were so newly opened, that soup wasn't available. So, I ended up trying the Braised Beef Noodles Soup. I was blown away; it was so flavorful and the beef was very tender. The portion size was huge! Also, I tried the Beef Dumpling Steamed and the portion size was more than I could eat. Two people could share that easily, I think next time I will try them fried. The steamed was not to my liking. The hours Monday thru Thursday are 11am to 9:30pm, Friday thru Saturday 11am to 10:30pm and Sundays 11am to 9:30pm. I will definitely be back!!

Google
Amazing value for AYCE! Servers are attentive and the food comes out pretty quickly. Many choices of nigiri and rolls (both classic and hand). They even have a great array of options for appetizers and entrees for those who aren’t sushi lovers. Must get all items that says “Limit 1 per customer” they’re top tier. Great place for treating just yourself or a group/party since you all pay the same price. Will definitely be back!

So glad I stopped by! The braised beef noodle soup was rich, savory, and loaded with tender beef—seriously comforting. The crispy chive pancake—flaky, golden, and packed with flavor. There're plenty of parking inside this plaza, only 5min away from The Forum too, perfect for lunch or dinner after shopping!

Saw a waiter once when I ordered. Robot brought my order out. No silverware, no refills on drinks, no napkins, not even a check. Was a single patron in an Asian establishment so more than likely just singled out. Had to go up to the front to pay. Food itself was pretty terrible. No soup in soup dumplings and the steamed dumplings were slightly slimy like it was frozen and microwaved. Definitely not handmade today. Would skip this place if you are not Asian (even though I am half), seems the Asian families are treated better. Matter of fact, just don't come here at all. Frozen dumplings from the store is better than this garbage. (They gave a 10% discount without me asking so I'm pretty sure they knew the food and service was terrible.)

When you come into this place it's like wow!!! 👍🏼 clean nice and the place is incredible decor. The customer service is amazing! They check on you and it can get packed and crazy but just wait for them they doing their best. No rushing, please. Many things to order from the menu and you can get pretty full quickly. Just ask them to explain to you if it's your first time. Some items on the menu will be an extra charge but it's there in case you want to add on. They have people here working but also a robot which is something common nowadays. The rolls are amazing and the fish are fresh! Everything you order is made so it's going to be super fresh! None of it is laid out waiting to be grabbed which is something I like.

Yelp
A friend recommended Noodles Bar & Dumpling for authentic Chinese food, so I stopped by for dinner. The dining area was spacious, and the tables were spotless. The woman who served us was also incredibly helpful and welcoming. I ordered the Hot Numbing Fish Fillet ($18). It had a satisfying kick! It was spicy, and the seasoning was flavorful and aromatic. The fish itself was tender and cooked perfectly. Their menu had many items that seemed appetizing. I plan to drop by in the future to try more of their offerings.

Yelp
A beautiful awesome day amazing people of the world. A lunch down has been arranged at the Noodls Bar and Dumplings in Norcross, Georgia. Lets get right into it shall we. Drunken Chicken - Everything tastes good. First time having it with Boneless chicken so its definitely interesting. Everything is correct, its just a bit on the salty side. 7/10 Numbing Spice Beef - Tripe is done really well. Texture is on point. Spices are nice and vibrant. Nothing is a miss 8.3/10 Soy Bean Paste Noodles - The noodles have great texture. The bean paste does come through. I adore a strong simple dish like this. 8.5/10 Crab XLB - Its not bad, its not good either. The flavors need to be adjusted a little. 6/10 XLB - These are actually pretty good. The dumpling skin, the soup and the filling checks all the boxes. 8.4/10 Pan Fried Buns - It presents really well. The crunchy corn starch base is always fun to eat. The bun texture is superb, the filling is really good. Best thing that hit the table. These can get a 8.8/10 The service was bang on. There was a robot server that ran the orders and drinks. Definitely a pleasant experience. Thank you. If youre ever in the Norcross, Georgia area, do give this spot a proper go at it and let me know what you think. Hit that follow for more food and travel adventures by yours truly. Share this review with a smash mode buddy and thank you so much for reading along. I love you Mwah!

Yelp
You can find Noodles Bar & Dumpling at 5450 Peachtree Pkwy Ste 7D, Norcross, GA 30092. I think of this as the Goodwill shopping center, but basically it's at the corner of Spalding and Peachtree Pkwy, it's the first light traveling West on Peachtree Pkwy before you get to all the shopping at the Forum. The restaurant is to the left of Bull Gogi (which if you haven't visited is worth a try). There's a large sparsely occupied parking lot out front and as usual in this area, parking is free. I've visited this shopping center a few times - usually to check out the used books in Goodwill, to hit Bull Gogi or Kool Runnings (which for some reason I liked better back when they were on Memorial), or to sample craft beer at Peachtree Growler (they used to serve flights, not sure if they still do?) - this area in general has a surprising number of food and experience offerings (check out the food court at the Forum - you'll be surprised). But enough digression. I met with one of my oft-dining partners, Laura C. to give Noodles Bar & Dumpling a try - it had popped up on my Facebook feed a couple of times with some great comments. On arrival I was greeted by a tiny lady who walked me to the table. Laura arrived early and had already purchased the Fried Scallion Pancake - I'm not too sure what to think about it, other than how unusual it was - almost three inch tall with more the consistency of cornbread - the spring onions gave it a mild savory flavor. It's interesting, Instagram seeking, unusual but be prepared to take half of it home. The other appetizer we ordered was the edamame - not something I usually order unless there's a whole table of apps and we needed something green to make us feel better about everything else we ordered, but Laura was really in the mood - these were your typical briny cooked beans - good but nothing special. The Pork Dumplings were good but slightly overcooked so they didn't hold together too well - flavors were spot on. Laura ordered the Kung Pao Lunch Special - single person portion with good flavors. I ordered the Dan Dan Noodle Soup which was quite satisfying and authentic in flavor. Overall I enjoyed the place - the interior has been dressed up a bit so it's not divey - I believe it may have been an owner waiting on us - the service was very friendly. I think comparing the restaurant to others in the same vein on Buford Highway is natural - I'd say It's on par on dishes but maybe slightly below which may have been due to their being so newly opened. Service was a 5, food a 3.9 so rounding up toe 4. Overall rating a 4.

Yelp
Metro Atlanta's newest dumpling bar ‼ Grand Opening FINALLY, a Taiwanese chef from Hualian county 華聯 , Taiwan 台灣 , making the BEST handmade dumplings and sheng jian bao 生煎包 . Lunch Special : Includes various choices of entree with appetizer and drink. I of course chose the national dish of Taiwan, niuroumian, with chive pancake. ‍ See the chef making their handmade dumplings fresh. Even the dumpling skins are handmade fresh, with the perfect texture. I tried: 1 Lunch special - Your choice 2 Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup - 臺灣牛肉麵 3 Crispy Chives Pancake - Stuffed 韭菜盒子 4 Sheng Jian Baozi - 生煎包 Juicy and fluffy bun with crispy pan fried bottom. 5 Xiao Long Bao 湯包 小笼包 小籠包 - Yes, handmade soup dumplings ! 6 Wonton with Chili Oil - 餛飩 Handmade pefection If you are craving Taiwanese food and would prefer a restaurant setting than a food court, then I recommend. Why 4 stars? Because they are still working out some of the menu and pricing.

Yelp
My friend, John and I like to try different places. We chose Noodles Bar & Dumpling today. I was greeted right away. And sat very quickly. It was nice to see the well laid out restaurant with colorful light touches. There is a very simple menu that pulls from different Asian countries. We ordered 5 dishes. Paired w Diet Coke. Started w Edamame, Fried Scallion Pancake I then ordered the Kung Pao Chicken Lunch Special. When John arrived, we ordered Pork Dumplings and Dan Dan Noodle Soup. There is a robot that delivers your food. There is something for everyone on this menu. Looks like a robust to go system as well. I would go again.

Yelp
My friend and I came here on a weekday after work, I believe it was a Thursday. There were only two other people in there dining. We were seated quickly and were given time to look over the menu, in which there is an array of items to choose from! I got the Braised Beef Noodle Soup, however I wanted the Lanzhou Noodle Soup and they said they didn't have anymore? I was disappointed at that, but they recommended the Braised Beef and that was quite good as well. We also ordered some Crab Meat Soup Dumplings and the Spicy Cucumber Salad, which were both really good! The food here is super flavorful, so i'll be back to try some other menu items. Along with the missing menu item, the reason for the four stars is because of the service. It seemed that as more people came in or just in general service is kind of slow once you are seated. I do understand the bumps though because this is a new establishment. I foresee this being fixed!

Yelp
the food is absolutely amazing!!! if you're looking for comfort food, this is the place to check out! I've been coming back more and more to try different things on the menu and they still have yet to disappoint. The owners are also very kind people and give great selections if you don't know where to start. The overall atmosphere is cute when you eat here with nice tables and chairs and is very clean. Keep it up Noodles Bar and Dumpling! You guys know how to cook

Yelp
The braised beef noodle soup was rich, savory, and loaded with tender beef--seriously comforting. The Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) were juicy and clearly handmade. But the real star? The crispy chive pancake--flaky, golden, and packed with flavor. there're plenty of parking inside this plaza, only 5min away from The Forum too, perfect for lunch or dinner after shopping!

Yelp
We came when the restaurant just opened so it was not as crowded as later time. The manager was friendly and quick with service. We ordered pan-fried beef buns ($10 for 5), pork cabbage soup dumplings ($9 for 6), and braised beef noodle soup ($14)-for a total of $34 excluding tips. Affordable and reasonable price. The beef buns were delicious, well-seasoned, and juicy. The soup dumplings tho were good but some of the juice leaked out leaving some dumplings dry and doughy. The braised beef noodle soup was flavorful and savory. It was a lot of foods for the two of us and we would come back another time to try another item on the menu.

Yelp
Noodles Bar & Dumpling is newly opened around 3-4 months ago they opened their doors. It's a welcome addition to Peachtree Corners and another competitor with hand made dumplings! I'm a huge dumpling fan and glad more and more restaurants are focusing on this craft. These spicy beef tendon was a stand out during our dinner, unfortunately, we were not super hungry so we just ordered a few things to try. The seafood pork dumplings were delicious however the skin is on the thicker side given they make the wrappers by hand. The soup dumplings were amazing and none of them popped during steaming. The bamboo stir fry was delicious and so fresh. I really enjoyed my visit here and cannot wait to come back to try the rest of the menu.

Yelp
Got pork and chives and their seafood dumplings. Yum! Service was fast and staff was friendly and helpful when ordering. Would like to have tried some soup dumplings but they weren't available. Came in and ordered takeout but restaurant appearance was nice. Can imagine dining in would be an nice vibe.

Yelp
I ordered the chives pancake for take-out today and it is burnt beyond recognition. "Just don't order it next time" is what the lady over the phone said when I called them back. To be fair, it is not the lady over the phone's fault, but the chef for purposely overcooking this dish repeatedly - as stated from the lady. Also, their menu is outdated and prices have gone up. I ordered the salt pepper chicken thinking it would be $8 as stated on their website, but now they only have the entree version, so I was charged $15 for it without any prior notice. Should you feel inclined to try this place, stick to their beef noodle soup and pork chop rice.

Yelp
Fantastic food and service. The hostess helped me choose the items I ordered. She was so nice. I ordered the pork chive dumplings and the house fried rice to go. Both items were delicious even though it took me about 30 minutes to get home. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
Highly recommend this newly opened restaurant! The Hotpot Spicy Pork Intestines were absolutely delicious, bringing back memories of the amazing flavors I had years ago at a Chinese restaurant in Peachtree Corners.

Yelp
Decided to stop in to try this out. I'd seen the signage from Kizuna to Noodls Bar & Dumpling. Yes there's a letter missing in the sign but everything else has the "E" in its name. Meant to ask if it was going to be corrected, but forgot. Everything at the front of the house looked clean and nice. If you head to the bathroom behind the curtains, things look a little worn. Was seated promptly as there was only one other small group when I came at 11:30 ish. Anyways, I decided to have Wonton Noodle soup, Pork & Cabbage soup dumplings and scallion pancake. The Wonton Noodle soup came out first. It was a large bowl with several small wontons, box choy, scallion, noodles, broth. I added chili oil as I like a little bit of spice. The chili oil and soy sauce are on the table. I was surprised as I was eating this, that I ended up with more wonton than noodles. Most other places, I found I usually end up with more noodles. The soup dumplings came out a few minutes later, then the scallion pancake. There's 6 pieces to an order for the dumplings. The pancake is cut into 8 pieces. Both end up making each piece manageable to eat without needing a knife to cut. I was a little disappointed that the soup dumplings didn't gush with soup as I took a bite. I was getting full from the wonton noodle soup, so I had to box up the rest to take home. I had one piece of the scallion pancake which had a nice texture and flavor when it's fresh. Had to take the remaining 7 pieces home. I was checked on often as I was eating, which was good on their part. After getting home, I decided in the late afternoon, to snack on some of the leftovers. Again, no soup gushing out of the dumpling. The pancake was a bit chewy after being at room temperature. I will go back again to check out some of the other dishes.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I were on a road trip from Colorado Springs, CO and had just arrived in town. All we needed was a bite to eat and this was our closest option. We were immediately greeted by the hostess and seated at a table for two. She was quick to get us water and answer our questions about the menu. The wait for the food was very short and the quality of the food was unbelievable. The potstickers were seared to perfection, and the main dishes were equal with care and passion. We were leaving town the following day but we made sure that we came a second time because we didn't know when we would be back! If you are looking for high quality authentic Asian food, please give them a shot!!!

Kaylee A.

Yelp
Great food and authentic customer service was outstanding as well! Loved the beef buns and pork and chive dumplings also had kung Pao chicken not pictured

Yelp
Food is amazing. I am a regular and am trying different menu items. Family operated. Chef has been cheffing for 40 years. His wife and sometimes his daughter run the front with a little robot to help serve. Wife and daughter are lovely. Highly recommend this hidden gem.
