Decided to stop in to try this out. I'd seen the signage from Kizuna to Noodls Bar & Dumpling. Yes there's a letter missing in the sign but everything else has the "E" in its name. Meant to ask if it was going to be corrected, but forgot. Everything at the front of the house looked clean and nice. If you head to the bathroom behind the curtains, things look a little worn. Was seated promptly as there was only one other small group when I came at 11:30 ish.
Anyways, I decided to have Wonton Noodle soup, Pork & Cabbage soup dumplings and scallion pancake. The Wonton Noodle soup came out first. It was a large bowl with several small wontons, box choy, scallion, noodles, broth. I added chili oil as I like a little bit of spice. The chili oil and soy sauce are on the table. I was surprised as I was eating this, that I ended up with more wonton than noodles. Most other places, I found I usually end up with more noodles. The soup dumplings came out a few minutes later, then the scallion pancake. There's 6 pieces to an order for the dumplings. The pancake is cut into 8 pieces. Both end up making each piece manageable to eat without needing a knife to cut. I was a little disappointed that the soup dumplings didn't gush with soup as I took a bite. I was getting full from the wonton noodle soup, so I had to box up the rest to take home. I had one piece of the scallion pancake which had a nice texture and flavor when it's fresh. Had to take the remaining 7 pieces home. I was checked on often as I was eating, which was good on their part.
After getting home, I decided in the late afternoon, to snack on some of the leftovers. Again, no soup gushing out of the dumpling. The pancake was a bit chewy after being at room temperature.
I will go back again to check out some of the other dishes.
