Yelp
13 dollars for a cup of instant ramen? Pretty steep admittedly. However, portion sizes are VERY generous, as they should be considering the price point.
Garlic noodles with fried chicken is pretty yummy; the fried chicken is very crispy on the outside while juicy on the inside and there's enough chicken to cover half the bowl. The noodles themselves were also quite filling and the garlic and butter was infused nicely; no additional sauces necessary. It's a very heavy meal though, and I personally had a hard time finishing it though, but it tasted good; good for left overs!
I also tried the beef noodle soup; portions were actually pretty massive for it. The flavor of the soup was good and the meat quality was also solid, but the noodles (I choose rice noodles) must've been poor quality. Even before I started my meal, I noticed that my noodles were very soggy and not even half way through, they had absorbed all the soup. I probably will not be ordering rice noodles from here again considering that I ended up tossing half of it away because the noodles were so soggy. If you get this item, I recommend getting a different noodle.
UPDATE 10/7/22: I tried their pad thai thinking it'd be as good as imm Thai's (sister restaurant), but it did not hit the mark. The pad thai was too sour (not sweet enough) and the noodles were fried; for a stir fry dish, it did not seem stir fried. Portion size wise though, there is a lot of food. Will not be getting the pad thai from here again; it was pretty disappointing.
The Thai tea here is also pretty good; so far, I've only claimed it as a Yelp check in offer (do it for a free Thai tea!) but they fill the cup to the brim with ice? Which is kind of baffling; normal price is 5 dollars, so if this were the case with a paid item, I would not be willing to fork over the money for a cup of ice.
Interior wise, it's super cute; the place is decorated with instant noodle packs and it's a nice place for groups. However, beware of flies. I dined in, and throughout the meal, I had to keep swatting away flies, which made for an annoying eating experience. I understand that it's a part of it's open storefront though, but something should be done about the flies.
Overall, I still would come back to try their original items (they have a lot of interesting items and for the portion size I would be willing to keep trying). However, I wouldn't necessarily recommend getting custom noodles, just because you can probably buy it yourself for a lot cheaper and customize it yourself on your own time.
Give the place a try; it has good potential!
