Elevated casual cocktail bar with a creative and seasonal cocktail list. Stopped by around 7PM on a Friday, just before it got super-crowded. There was limited seating indoors (just two tables plus the bar and some couches), but the small terrace seats overlooking the square were a nice touch—especially if you’re visiting on a warmer evening. The bar itself was stylish enough for a proper cocktail night, but also relaxed enough to feel cozy and unpretentious. As for the drinks, they seemed to do frequent rotations to keep things fresh (Some of the hyped-up favorites from the past were no longer available). Of the three we tried, the Fairmount Flip was our favorite. As described, it was a full-bodied, creamily cocktail reminiscent of the classic Montreal egg & cheese bagel sandwich. An impeccable mix of sweet, salty, and creamy that somehow just worked. The other two cocktails we tried leaned more generic. Overall, it was the kind of place that elevated our casual night out without ever trying too hard. Definitely a place I’d return to after dinner for a nightcap or even just to grab a seat on the terrace and unwind.

Nook at Bow Market is a great spot for cocktails. It's in Somerville and has a cool, cozy vibe. The bartenders make amazing drinks with new and classic flavors. The place feels friendly and is perfect for hanging out with friends or a casual date. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and want to try some cocktails.

Google
Absolute perfection. Drinks are reasonable, unique, and delicious. The vibes are immaculate and pulls off the 70s mid-century kitchen aura perfectly. The bartenders are so friendly and knowledgeable. Big bonus: you can take the drinks down to Bow Market open air area. Great addition to the community!

A group of 4 of us visited Bow Market on a Saturday afternoon and wanted some drinks. We first got a round of drinks whilst at the patio seating in the middle of the market. You order through a link provided by a QR code and they will deliver the drinks to your table. Afterwards, we wanted a second round of drinks and visited the actual bar. It's a huge space with both indoor and outdoor seating. I do not recall now which of the drinks we got but we got a variety of cocktails with different flavor profiles and all of them were super great. I would definitely go back!

Google
A hidden gem and a cocktail enthusiasts paradise! One look at the not so thin menu of cocktails should tell you that they take mixology seriously. There is one (or a few) that will pander to every taste, mood, feel or sense! And if you feel like something regular or exotic, just ask! While chatting with Alec about the dearth of Yellow Chartreuse and how I was hankering to make a Death Flip at home, he offered to make a slightly altered version of it which blew my mind! Oh yes, have to mention how amazing and knowledgeable Alec was!

Nook is that place that you absolutely LOVE, and want to share, but then...you'd have to share💁🏻‍♀️ Cozy atmosphere, fab bartenders, and the tunes are always *just right* For Sumer they're doing a "Road Trip" and every drink has a been a delight. I reccomend the Gamera Rises!, No Sleep, Toni + Candace and the Blackstone Brickle

Google
Nice spot with good music cool vibes and kind staff. I like how they clearly mark the NA beverages, name them as if they’re alc bevs, and serve them to look like alc bevs so you don’t feel left out. More places should do this!!

One of my favorite cocktails I’ve had in Boston! Really innovative flavors that are so well done

Yelp
I can't believe I've never been to Bow Market before but I will definitely be back! So many hidden gems. Stores, cocktail lounges, restaurants, etc. It's also lit up very nicely at night. So fun! I'd imagine it's poppin in the summer/on a warm night. I just went to Nook (located upstairs once you're in Bow Market) and it's such a vibe! They've got an extensive drink menu, a couch area to lounge on, high tables and bar seating, cool interior design, and dim lighting. I mean the ambiance is there. Highly recommend the fruity drink! I forget the exact name but the bartender suggested it to me, and it was from the "West" menu page.

Yelp
Cozy, unique cocktail bar. Drinks are categorized by regions. While this spot is small and intimate, it is filled with creativity and kindness. Servers welcome you with a smile. Bar is well curated and drinks are complex and well balanced. High end ingredients in everything. They do offer beer and wine. Last visit I ordered Havana moon and the Showgirl. Small selection of bar bites also categorized/inspired by regions. The pickled okra is yummy.

Yelp
Lovely little cozy nook ;) on the second floor of Bow Market (side note you're able to bring your cocktails downstairs to the open patio area if you prefer!) with all the ambience! Cozy little water vapor fire place, on point mid century decor and a rotating cocktail menu to boot. The first time I came here I felt that the cocktails weren't anything to be blown away by but now, a year later with the autumn menu in full swing I take it back! It is a small space so it's definitely more difficult to have a larger group (more than 4), but fantastic for smaller groups. They have a small bites menu as well but you're also welcome to grab food from the multitude of food vendors at Bow. Friendly and tentative service!

Yelp
The ambience in this joint is low-key, perfect for a pre-dinner cocktail. They have a few snack options. We ordered the chips and salsa, and were surprised by how good it ended up being. For our drinks we order a variety of cocktails, and they all turned out perfect. Not too sweet, and high quality. Highlights from our drinks include the Tony+Candace, and the Arizona tea, but everything was amazing. Servers were kind, service was quick. You can find it in Bow Market on the second floor. Bow Market has great evening vibes and an outdoor patio you can bring your drink out to. Note that this will not be the cheapest drinks in Union Square, but definitely worth it. Highly recommend this little "nook"! After note-- we ordered more drinks and they accidently printing our order twice, and they gave us the extras with no charge! Thumbs up from us!

Yelp
Great drinks, cute seating. They switch up their menu every so often too. You can also take your drinks outside in bow market too when the weather is nice. Order at the counter.

Yelp
Located upstairs in Bow Market, Nook is a great little cocktail bar with really cozy decor/ambiance and a diverse menu of drinks. Service was pretty quick and the server came around occasionally throughout the night to ensure we were satisfied which was a nice experience. The seating situation isn't particularly plentiful, but we were lucky enough to snag a table as some folks were leaving in the corner of one of the booths. The drink variety they had was very nice and reasonably priced - I would gladly get anything they have listed the next time I'm in the area. If you're in the mood for some post dinner drinks, Nook is definitely a strong contender near Union Square. Looking forward to returning one day in the future when I'm in the area again!

Yelp
When we went in, no one offered to seat us and when we eventually sat down because a table left, no one approached us for 15 minutes or helped us clear the table. The drinks looked nice, and they were busy, but the service made us feel unwelcome so we left before ordering anything

Yelp
Nook is tucked away in Bow Market and the amount of times Ive missed it makes me feel ashamed. But I'm glad my coworker recommended them. Nook has very thoughtful and unique cocktails (Ricotta infused gin?! Where have you seen that?) The flavors in each cocktail are subtle but they come through gently and makes you really think about what you just drank. The space is cozy and very intimate. The lighting is moody and romantic. I love the semi mid-modern decor. The bar tenders are super friendly but also give you space if you sit at the bar.

Yelp
The menu here is incredible, the space is adorable. The service is very friendly but a little confusing whether you order first then sit, sit and then order, a rhythm that allows for a lot of catching up. I'll definitely be back, hugely appreciate all of the details and offerings.

Yelp
Fabulous ambiance, so cozy and chic. Always love grabbing a drink here. Their aesthetic direction is chef's kiss but for my taste their drinks can get a little too experimental. Super fun spot to meet with friends!

Yelp
Ordered drinks to our table outside - waiter stated one drink was Fairmount Flip when we ordered a Permanent Vacation. He went to check and then brought back the same drink which was correct but was mistakenly given the wrong name. Also ordered a Showgirl and wasn't sure if it was correct. Checked pictures and it seemed to match the Nene. Bartender says the Nene is "more pink" and the garnishes in the picture on the menu is just to "make it pretty" (even though they had mint in another drink in my party) and that they served it in a different glass for outside serving even though someone in my party had a martini glass. Overpriced for this kind of service and only ok specialty cocktails

Yelp
Great ambiance. Everyone liked their drinks. I got the Arizona tea and it was delicious, didn't taste like alcohol at all. The chips and salsa were so good it was a mango salsa and the chips were perfectly salty. I would recommend.

Yelp
What a find! Hadn't heard of this place before but was in the area for dinner at Celeste. Had arrived early (to find parking of course) so with some time to kill searched for cocktails nearby and found the cute and cozy Nook at Bow Market. The drinks were inspired! Wow what creativity and even artistry in each glass. My wife and I had a pair of cocktails each and we couldn't believe the depth of flavor. From cream cheese vodka evoking Montreal bagels in the Fairmount Flip to a confluence of flavors straight out of the Twins Peaks Red Room in the Gordon Cole, the entire experience was a delightful journey. With matching service from the kind and helpful bartenders, a most outstanding visit was had! I would put Nook right up there with the best cocktail bars in the Boston area (eg Baldwin Bar and Farmacia) and look forward to coming again soon. The team iterates on their menu often and I hear you can be a guinea pig to test drive potential new offerings on Monday nights!

Yelp
This cozy new cocktail bar off of the Bow Market balcony features a very creative drink menu and a few snack options from various of their Bow Market neighbors. Really like all of the drinks there that I've tried so far. The Plantasia was a vacation in a glass.

Yelp
Great cocktails, lovely ambiance. A little pricey, but worth it! I wouldn't bring a big group here but it is great for catching up with a friend or two. Nice and quiet.

Yelp
Great cocktails on a rotating menu, reasonable prices, and very cozy ambiance! Always a delight to come here with my boyfriend

Sara S.

Yelp
Creative and very delicious cocktails, chill staff, good ambiance. Cocktails are pricey but they also have a lot of components which you can tell a bunch of staff time went into, and you can also tell that the staff spends a bunch of effort researching the drinks, so I think the pricing is pretty much fair. If you're familiar with Backbar in the middle of Union Square, like a 7 minute walk from this place, the cocktails are of similar quality, often better I'd suspect, and the place is a lot less crowded and easier to have a conversation in. I think I'll be going here to scratch that itch again later. Check them out next time you're thirsty near Bow Market!

Brittany M.

Yelp
Nook is one of the cutest little cocktail bars in Somerville! The ambiance is really cute, set in a 70s style living room with a bright colored bar and comfortable couches. I ordered the Plantasia and it was a pleasantly milky tiki drink that was very spirit heavy - this drink got me a little too tipsy in the day time around my in-laws, but overall was a great value! Definitely will be back for more cocktails.

Yelp
I don't drink, but the bartender Alec fashioned me an amazing mocktail based on my own tastes, with coconut, sesame, and pineapple...it was amazing! I've never had a better mocktail in my entire life. Thank you Alec!!!
