"This newer Totem Lake restaurant received some attention earlier this year for its takes on Egyptian dishes, including koshari (a street food dish that mixes pasta, rice, stewed tomatoes, and lentils), baladi bread, and other baked goods. It’s currently open for takeout and delivery via Grubhub." - Eater Staff

Ordered the beef and chicken kabob. They were juicy and delicious. Service was fantastic. The dough (yogurt drink) was very tangy! Ordered two of them. The hummus had bits of pomegranate seeds that just exploded in your mouth with flavor. I’ve never seen that before! Will definitely go again!!!

One of the best Persian sandwiches I have had in the US! The meat was so tender, the bread was the perfect mix of crispy and soft, and the dressing was delicious. We were a relatively large party and went without calling in advance but place is nice and roomy and they could easily sit us. Last but not least, the staff (Farideh) was absolutely phenomenal! Checking on us asap whenever we needed something and was exceptionally nice and caring. They didn’t even let us pay for teas and coffee and told us they are on the house this time :) Highly recommend going there for both the food and the friendly staff.

If you’re looking for some delicious chicken kabob, look no further! This place is the best place. I literally went here 3 times this past week. Can’t get tired of this place. They give you a heaping order of rice as well. AND if you want salad they have the option to do half salad and rice and it’s the same prices. Definitely a place worth checking out. 😋

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The staff seemed inattentive and unorganized, with very little sense of responsibility. I waited far too long for my order, only to find out it wasn’t even correct when I finally received it. The service was poor from start to finish—no communication, no apology, and no urgency to fix the mistake. Would not recommend unless major improvements are made.

I’ve been to almost every Persian restaurant on the Eastside and Seattle, the food at Noon Cafe is hands down the best Persian food! The owner Aslan is so kind and welcoming. Food is perfection, the chicken kabob is so tender and flavorful. Everything was delicious. We were treated with jalepino dolmehs (best I have ever had) and cookie for our little one at the end of the meal. Our daughter asked us when can we come back. ☺️

Barged into this gem of a restaurant tonight and had some amazing food! Customer service was beyond amazing- they recommended their Persian pizza (which I slightly customized myself) and it was amazing! Will be back soon.

Noon Cafe in Kirkland is an absolute gem! We ordered the chicken kebab and the bandari sandwich, along with some tea, and everything was phenomenal. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh and prepared with care. The chicken kebab was juicy and flavorful, while the bandari sandwich had just the right amount of spice and richness. The service was exceptional—top-notch in every way. The staff were so friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. It’s clear they take great pride in both their food and their hospitality. I will be coming back soon. Highly recommended!

Google
Nice, open setup and extremely friendly service! We had the chicken and ground beef kebabs with a salad instead of rice, due to the new year diet... Haha! The chicken kebabs were extremely moist and tender with great flavor. The Ground beef kebabs were so juicy also also had great flavor along with texture. The salad was simple, yet flavorful and I usually hate ranch, but they make their own ranch dressing in house! And it is yogurt based instead of all the crap they shove in their in the store bought stuff. The pictures don't do it justice, but I highly recommend this place. P.S. the tea was great as well!

Yelp
We ordered a few things to go. The food was absolutely amazing and very flavorful - very middle eastern in flavors. My daughter had the veal tongue sandwich, which was delicious! The kabobs were fresh and the meat was sooo tender and juicy. Though we got the food to go, the server was really friendly and even made us the fries while we were waiting for the kabobs - they gave us a fair warning that kabobs would take 20 mins. Overall, i highly rate this place! The food is very authentic - i look forward to coming back here.

Yelp
Amazing food but super slow service! I would have given it a five stars if we were not starving patiently for our order. I would not dine in again but probably go grocery shopping and place an online order! We ordered the Chicken Pizza, a great dough base, perfectly created pizza with delicious juicy chicken , mushroom and other ingredients on a tomato sauce base! The Soltani chicken was mix of juicy chicken kabab & the softest beef kabab i have ever had! it comes with rice, grilled tomatoes and lots of basil leaves. its like a whole basil plant without the roots. friendly staff, hopefully they hire more or find a way to speed up their kitchen! this restaurant is new & very neat! with plenty of parking options

Yelp
We came here specifically for the veal tongue sandwich and it was very good! More than adequate volume on top of a well made and seasoned pulled tongue nestled inside a fresh baguette soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. We tried two different pizzas on a return visit but we were not as impressed. Cafe was not crowded in the early evening and service was attentive. Plenty of tables and chairs for a comfortable dining environment. Go for the sandwiches.

Yelp
Overall, food was fine, but the service was a little weird. I came in for lunch and we were told to choose a table to sit at. The person working the front was on their phone and didn't bring us any menus. We found menus scattered on other tables so we looked through those. We had to wave him down to order since we wanted to do the lunch special that was advertised on the chalk board inside, but not on the menus inside. The lunch specials advertised a drink being included, but the server didn't tell us what drinks we could get. We got up and had to ask them what we were allowed to take from the cooler. Our food took quite a bit of time, even though we were the only two people there. When we were ready to go, the person at the front was still on their phone, so we walked up to pay. The lunch special was a good price, but I wouldn't come back for other meals since the "full" prices for the items on the menu was surprisingly high for what we got.

Yelp
Service - 2/5. The server/front cashier is nice, but it took more than 30 minutes to get food. Some people left because of the long wait. My boyfriend even said he would never come back here ever again, but his opinion changed after eating their food. This can be possibly resolved by hiring more people in the kitchen. Ambiance -3/5. It's a casual dining place. I'd give a better rating if they kept a place a bit cleaner. Our tables, chairs, and floor had grease stains and I almost slipped even though I was wearing tennis shoes. Food - 4/5. Chicken and koobideh were savory and cooked to the perfection. Price - 3.5/5. It's a bit over priced, but these over priced food became a norm now. The bill for 2 kebab (chicken & kubideh) plates came out to be $82 (after tax and tip) for lunch. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch here and would come back here again. We might call in to place our orders before we head out there though.

Yelp
New ownership! Food is amazing. Can't wait to see more changes coming. No place like noon cafe in Kirkland.

Mahak M.

Yelp
Super cute cafe in Kirkland with some dishes I've never tried before! I have constant dreams about their breakfast tray!

Anahita P.

Yelp
For a reasonably priced Persian breakfast with good quality food, this is the ideal spot. We had a unique experience at the place, and the owner, Arsalan, is a wonderful person.

Yelp
I had a late afternoon sennin-so shiatsu session in Kirkland and was looking for something substantial for a late lunch/early dinner (4/23/23). Using my trusty Yelp app, I decided to seek out Noon Cafe located in Kirkland's Totem Lake area. I enjoy Persian cuisine, so I looked forward to seeing their spin with starters, sandwiches, and pizza. Noon Cafe was easy to locate using surface streets and proximate to I-405. Convenient and spacious shared parking lot at Totem Square, I found a spot right out front. First impression upon entering was clean, orderly, sleek with ample indoor seating. Their menu had a selection of nibbles like chips & cheese or fries, soups, salads, and a burger but you can tell their forte are with their pizza and sandwich selections. I veered from the Mortadella that originally caught my eye and wasn't as adventurous to try Zaboon (veal tongue) or Maghz (brain) separately or as a combo. I ended up ordering the Bandari sandwich to go ($15.90). This is served warm with sliced fried beef sausages, fried onions, parsley, pickles, and their special spicy sauce. I opted for that, but one can request cheese and/or mushrooms for an additional charge. After a brief wait, I was handed a fairly hefty takeout box from the friendly counter person. Omg, the tantalizing scents that was wafting from that box driving home to Shoreline! Once I arrived home and opened the box, I was amazed at the expertly wrapped, huge sandwich. Easily one sandwich could feed two or three people. It traveled well, unwrapped it, and dug in with that first bite. My Yelp tag line mentions dazzling flavors and wow did Noon Cafe deliver! All the contents held together and melded well. Fantastic! I shared this with The Homie and he too deemed the Bandari as tasty. I brought the leftovers the next day to work and surprisingly tasted even better. That combination of ingredients and what comprises their special spicy sauce really makes this unique, delicious find. Always satisfying to visit a spot for the first time and end up with an amazing, memorable experience. Noon Cafe - a worthy detour for delicious food with a Persian spin.

Yelp
We went there for dinner on a Friday night. The restaurant was busy, but we easily found a table for our group. We ordered two sandwiches and the Persian pizza. It took about 15 min for the pizza to be ready, the sandwiches came out faster. The food was good overall, and my friends said that they tasted close to what you find in Iran, especially the pizza. Overall we enjoyed our experience.

Sarah K.

Yelp
Low quality food, over priced, uninteresting ambience, limited service, and disappointing overall. I was excited that they have added kabob to the menu, and ordered their bakhtiary kabob, which was supposed to be a skewer of chicken kabob and a skewer of chenjeh according to the menu. However, it ended up being a single skewer of half chicken and half chenjeh! Very small portion of kabob and mostly rice! For $36 it was very underwhelming, especially compared to other cafes in the area offering the same kind of food. If I knew it's a single skewer, I wouldn't have ordered this dish. The menu was deceiving for sure. I tried their pizza too, but the crust was sweet and dry, and the toppings were very heavy. For the same price, I've had much higher quality pizza with incredibly better ingredients elsewhere! Not to mention their yogurt drink had an unexpectedly fizzy taste, which was not described on the lable. It was unclear if it is self service or not. There was a server, but she only took the order and didn't bring utensils, plates or cups. They didn't even use compostable cups! All plastic! The ambiences was not interesting either, no artwork, no decoration. All in all, I don't plan to go back and don't recommend this place.

Yelp
This place serves Iranian Street Food. Traditional sandwiches. Iranian pizza which is very different from traditional Italian or American pizza. And also kabobs, and a very traditional Iranian breakfast. We ordered the kabob plate and it was great. I ordered the mortadella sandwich and my husband ordered a hot sandwich (don't remember name) and they were VERY filling! We could only eat half our sandwiches! My sandwich was unique and had potato chips in it! So good. We also ordered a side of fries! Does not compare to anything you can get thru a drive thru. Def order. I recommend this place and hope others who are not familiar will give it a try! I hope this little cafe does well and stays in business.

Golnaz K.

Yelp
Great service manager personally helped us and brought complimentary items. Food tasted great. Pretty, modern, clean space.

Yelp
What a great find. A true gem. I love Persian food and try to go to one when in east side. I had not seen noon cafe before - turns out it opened just a few months ago. So I decided to try. Great decision on my part. Could not decide on what to get, so ordered the platter, which had chicken, filet and ground beef/lamb kabab with saffron rice. Each bite was more delicious than the last. I finished it off with tea and home made baklava. What a meal.

Ali A.

Yelp
This is a place at Seattle if you want to have a good quality time for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Ashkan did a great job with opening this fabulous place.

Shirin E.

Yelp
I am not sure what has changed with this place but our latest experience with Noon Cafe was so poor that I felt I should post a new review. We had the veal tongue sandwich as usual but it turned out to be the most disgusting experience. This was not the same sandwich experience we had at Noon Cafe many times before. It was undercooked chewy meat and really off putting. The portions were much smaller than before and the bread was soggy. We also had the Bandari sandwich as before and it was slightly better but again neither of them tasted or looked like the sandwiches we had at Noon before. We had multiple mishaps with orders not getting processed correctly before (missing the mushroom and cheese add-ons or not ready at all at pick up time but at least they tasted much better, had larger portions and wrapped better. This unfortunately is no longer the case. I'm not sure what brought about this drastic change in taste and quality but based on this experience, I no longer recommend this as a favorite spot. This is incredibly sad as I was genuinely a fan of this place when they first opened.

Maryam A.

Yelp
I love the environment, kebabs , persian drink (dough) And all the sandwiches. Yaaaaaam

Mona P.

Yelp
Noon Cafe is a fantastic casual restaurant serving delicious Persian food. I always love coming here because the staff is super friendly, and the place is impeccably clean. Highly recommend!

Tasha T.

Yelp
It is a neat modern-cozy place that was recently opened. There are a lot of parking lots nearby so it's not going to be a problem. I specifically wanted to try their Persian breakfast that I saw pictures of and it didn't disappoint me, I really recommend the place as an alternative to regular breakfast places. As for the service it wasn't noisy, I think that's the best compliment for the place

dr m.

Yelp
Arrived on a Monday for lunch with 3 friends, wasn't busy so we were seated right away. Absolutely fresh and delicious food, nice people!! just be sure to factor in extra time for them to make everything, think there are only 2 people working the entire operation. We had the chicken and beef kebabs, were wowed by big portions, lots of saffron rice and delicious stewed tomatoes. Kind of a delicatessen vibe, we even asked them to turn the music up (Persian classical) which they did, so we could enjoy it too.

Nari N.

Yelp
This 5 review is based on the sandwiches only. The Kebabs are mediocre, the pizza is good but not amazing and I have yet to try their breakfast. Sandwiches are amazing though! Try the pot roast and add mushroom+ cheese and you can thank me later! So fresh and flavorful. Also large portions so plenty to share! I love all the sandwiches I've tried but if I had to choose my top favorites, it would be cheese cocktail, pot roast (see above tip), veal tongue (I know... but TRY it before you judge), and bandari (it's!)

Mark T.

Yelp
It was me and my little brother's first time Persian food! But before I get to the food the guy in the front greeted us with a warm welcome and gave us some great recommendations and the break down on the Persian tray! Exceptional service, no long wait and the food was delicious and definitely gonna retur

Olive R.

Yelp
Came in around 10 am and ordered a Persian breakfast plate. It was delicious, the one I ordered was naturally vegetarian. It had labneh and a smooth like cheese. Will come again! Shout out to the waiter for taking the time to explain the dishes to me since I can't read Persian.

Inessa S.

Yelp
Sandwich was so delicious The worst part was a RUSSIAN rude rap in the PERSIAN restaurant. Didn't like that at all!!

Thomas Z.

Yelp
Ordered Persian plate, Persian pizza, and lamb head breakfast bowl. Interesting and good presentation. Taste wise it was good but for it to be 5 stars it'll have to come from someone with an acquired taste for Persian food. Pizza was not as good as I expected (it definitely looks very good). Definitely recommend the Persian platter to visitors.

Anousha M.

Yelp
This place was way too expensive for what it offers and it is very unclear on what to expect. You order at the counter, there is water and plastic forks and knives and there is someone who comes and goes and you wonder if you should get your food or will they bring it for you. You don't get to have a number to go back to the counter and fetch your food. Overall a very confusing experience. The kabob was good but extremely expensive. The price is something i would go to a decent restaurant with great ambiance. This was not what i would pay premium price. Breakfast was ok. The waiter situation and not knowing what to expect was annoying specially that they can get busy. Their drinks weren't good. Wait time if they are busy can be frustrating. Overall, will only go there if I'm starving.

somiyeh m.

Yelp
Great food but dirty dishes! Also there was an old guy who had the black gloves on and was serving food, taking the dishes out and I'm sure was preparing the food with same gloves, because his gloves were oily! Hoping to improve these little things cause I really like the restaurant and their food! Thank you .

Abi M.

Yelp
Amo Rahmat made the best night in Seattle for my family and I with the best quality and quantity of the Kebab. I wish the best for you guys

Anna B.

Yelp
the food now is very inconsistent, depending on who's making it. sometimes ok, other times borderline not edible. last time my sandwich was soaking in so much oil it soaked through the bread and the wrapper. the older gentleman made it. disgusting, and waste of $20+. i also saw a cockroach running around inside which completely ruined my appetite. makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and food preparation areas. the place is dirty, the food keeps getting worse, and the price keeps going up. makes me sad, the food was fantastic when it first opened. i'm not sure i'll ever come back unfortunately.

Dee M.

Yelp
I got a margherita pizza to go on a weekend from Noon. It was fresh and the sauce was just right. Will try other Persian dishes in future.

Jack K.

Yelp
New place in town, delicious, super clean, and cosy decoration. Highly recommended and so happy to find here. My favorite is veal tongue ,burger and roast beef pizza.

Joupi J.

Yelp
This place is very clean, modern and unique. They are very friendly and fast at their service. The quality of food is amazing. I recommend Noon Cafe

Nur M.

Yelp
Amo Rahmat the head chef at Noon cafe makes the best Haleem in the world!! its a must go place over and over! Their food is amazing!

Navid P.

Yelp
Brand new restaurant with great atmosphere and very cool owner. I just tried their veal tongue sandwich and it was delicious. Can't wait to go back again.

Nima P.

Yelp
Just opened. Seattle needed one of these! Persian style fast food, pizza and sandwiches. Very nice place and delicious food!

Dela G.

Yelp
This place is a heaven for people who have been away from Iran/Middle east for a while and craving for traditional Sandewichiiii ! You can have best traditional Iranian sandwich's here from Kotlet to Tongue, or Persian Pizza that is similar to deep dish style. Yummy

Shirin M.

Yelp
Best chicken kebob on the west coast. Amazing Persian food. Great service. Very friendly. Loved it.

Emma P.

Yelp
- Food: medium portions, low quality, not flavorful (disrespectful to call this Persian food) - service: we ordered at the counter and had to tip before we ate, they never brought water to the table - environment: clean, decent decorations and lighting

Rachel C.

Yelp
Scrumptious Persian food! We shared bean soup and the veal tongue sandwich. They offer large portions with authentic flavors. A lovely ambiance for a great meal. Will definitely come back!

Shahin S.

Yelp
Delicious, really big, made to order, really fresh ingredients, very friendly staff! If you're around definitely try them out. Pizza and Burger were outstanding, Highly Recommended.

LCJH H.

Yelp
This place is expensive and weirdly low maintenance. The food was good but sort of sparse, prices were high, and they don't have ice. They also serve water in these tiny plastic cups and you have to refill it yourself but no one tells you so you are sitting there waiting for table service and it basically only happens when you order and when your food is served. My meal wasn't bad it just wasn't $32 good. I ordered one of the kebab dishes and it was two kebabs on a piece of flatbread with a roasted tomato, grilled onion, and some basil. I also had a cucumber and tomato salad. It was fine but I wouldn't go back.

Ali R.

Yelp
I love this place. It is so hard to find good Persian sandwiches outside of LA, and of course Iran. The ones in LA are hit and miss. The sandwich's here are great! Noon cafe has going into my weekly lunch rotation.

Mina M.

Yelp
this is the second time in Noon cafe in two days of my trip in Seattle. the food and service are excellent and the quality is great. God bless you Amo rahmat

Negin K.

Yelp
Overall, I am so satisfied. The food tasted exactly as it should, and the customer service was nice. The environment was calm and relaxing.

Alicia H.

Yelp
they don't deliver which is one thing yet they would not take an order over the phone with my credit card either.

Richard W.

Yelp
Just ate the Beef Burger for lunch. Excellent!! This new Persian fast food restaurant is a place I will definitely return to.

Siamak A.

Yelp
This is a beautiful and quiet place with delicious food and wonderful services,so I can highly recommend it enough

J D.

Yelp
Awesome beef sandwich. Say no more. This alone is worth the visit. Place is chill and casual.

P Y.

Yelp
Liked our sandwiches, their Bandari is good and recommend it if you're not sure what to have

Elham N.

Yelp
I'm head over heels for this place! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making me feel right at home. The staff is super polite and attentive, adding to the overall charm. Now, let's talk about the food--it's truly awesome! The "bandari" dish was an absolute delight, and the "brain" and "tongue" sandwiches were tasty and well-balanced. If you're in the mood for a fantastic dining experience, this place is definitely worth a visit!
