Google
I’ve been here many times over my 7 years living in Boston. Noor has delivered great food every single time. Their portion sizes are really generous and every single thing has been very delicious. The pictures are the chicken kebab, beef kebab, and the lule kebab. My favorite is the shawarma! The pickles they include are quite zesty and the garlic sauce is SO good! I’d highly recommend coming here!

We’ve been having Noor’s Trio and chicken Shawarma once in a while in the last two years and have never stopped loving it! It is super delicious with all combinations of rice/fries, their salads, and hummus/garlic sauce, and it’s literally our comfort food in Boston area. They don’t have a great spot for dining in, but delivery has been consistently good. The yogurt beverage, though not something I’ve found American taste to typically like it, is amazing. We had their rice pudding once which was tasty, but their Baklava has been on and off in terms of quality and freshness. Overall, Noor is the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in the States.

I ordered Noor Trio via Uber Eats. They sent me old and burnt kabab. So bad taste!

Falling in Love with Noor Mediterranean Grill: A Culinary Ode Oh, Noor Mediterranean Grill, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways, between the sea and the spree. In this cozy nook, where aromas pirouette, You’ve captured my heart—how could I forget? With a door that swings open to promise and spice, I’m greeted by warmth, like a hug that’s precise. The chatter of patrons, the clink of fine glass, Ah, it’s paradise found—no need for first-class. The shawarma, oh dear, it’s a love affair bold, Each tender slice whispers tales yet untold. With spices that tango and flavors that sway, I’m convinced it’s a magic carpet ride, they say. And then comes the hummus, my love, pure and true, A velvety dip that whispers, “I’m here just for you.” Paired with pita, warm from the oven’s embrace, Each bite is a sonnet, a savory grace. Let’s not forget salads, bright gems on the plate, With colors so vibrant, they dance and they sate. Crisp cucumbers and tomatoes, a burst of delight, Who knew greens could be such a culinary bite? But here’s the twist, my friends, let’s not be naive, Life’s not just about food, though we often believe. For in this little haven, while flavors entwine, We find joy in each other, like fine aged wine. So here’s to the laughter, the stories we share, To the moments of magic that linger in air. For the best things in life, by the littorals we find, Are not just the meals, but the love intertwined. So come, gather ‘round, let your hearts take a chance, At Noor Mediterranean, where flavors romance. And while the food dazzles, let’s raise a toast high: To the best things in life—good food, friends, and the sky.

Ordered a vegetarian love platter for myself -- but found some chicken. I don't eat meat -- and getting meat is unacceptable. Also, the Falafels were not well cooked -- and tasked raw batter. The food was ready for pick-up very quck but unfortunately the experience was below par.

Google
ill start with the shawarma being extremely underwhelming. east-coast metropolitan canada has spoiled me when it comes to a good shawarma: fluffy garlic sauce, meat that melts in your mouth, perfectly pickled pickles, a saj that’s dunked in the shawarma juice and flambéed on the grill. and this shawarma is not that. this is dry af and i don’t think there is good shawarma in boston. you should just do the 6 hour road trip to ottawa but alas! this review is actually not for the shawarma because then it would’ve been much lower than this score. this review is for the baklava. for $5, you get a huge square of baklava that is so perfectly crisp and chewy. overwhelming flavour profile of floralness in the syrup - much more than other baklavas ive had in the Boston area and i LOVE it. orange blossom/rosewater is so under emphasized in baklava nowadays and noor does it so right….. for $5 how can you even complain?!?!? this is value maxxing. id come again and again and again just for this baklava. thank you for your service noor mediterranean grill

Google
the food is mostly good, but everything I've ordered something for pick up, something is either missing or incorrect. the falafel is great, but the rice is overcooked.

Google
I must say the customer service was truly stupendous. The staff let me ( a simple low life track and field athlete) use the restroom! Truly inspiring to see that there are still good people around! Thank you.

Yelp
Such a good meal. The value in terms of quality and flavor and serving size is hard to match.

Yelp
It's good food thank you for good service test is deferent it's Middle East test but the price is to high Some people can't eat here cuz the price is high.

Yelp
I ordered lunch here via relish and got a chicken kabob wrap on saj bread. This might have been the messiest wrap I've ever eaten. The bread couldn't hold anything. Maybe it was because I asked for saj bread instead of pita bread, but I would not order that again. The ingredients were okay specifically the hummus. My chicken was burnt. Overall not too impressed, but I would give it another shot. Since this was an online delivery order, I can't speak to the ambiance or atmosphere of the actual restaurant.
google avatar

Zan D.

Yelp
Tried the beef shawarma wrap and was really impressed. It was really large and could easily have been 1.5 to 2 meals. The beef shawarma was really tasty. The wrap was a little dry. Great spot for lunch. Or a quick meal.
google avatar

Brandon B.

Yelp
Stopped by for a falafel. Immediately the gentleman working was very friendly and patient. Within five minutes I received my food. Definitely a different experience than other middle eastern restaurants where you watch them prepare the wraps. No matter, the falafel itself was delicious and large. Overall I would say it's above average, and they weren't stingy with the falafel nor toppings. A review however cannot just be about food. The seating was limited due to takeout containers everywhere and a vacuum tucked away. It did not take away from the experience, but, it should be noted when looking at the overall dining experience.

Yelp
Great food and service. Everything is delicious! Great hidden gem. Everything is worth trying, too!

Yelp
Very prompt delivery! The falafels were light and delicious! Could not believe how much neat we had with out lamb Shawarma!! And the pickles really set the perfect tone.

Yelp
This spot has great value for its price! The dinner plates ($12-19) have enough food to be split into two meals. For the dinner plates, you choose between rice or fries. You choose a side of hummus, garlic sauce, tahini, or baba dip. We tried the beef shawerma plate ($14.99) and upgraded the salad for fattoush for an extra $1. We also got the lule kebab plate ($15.49). I thought the fries and rice were okay but not particularly mind-blowing. The fries lacked a bit of seasoning. The meats were seasoned very well but I found the shawarma to be a little dry. I highly recommend getting the garlic sauce because it went well with everything. This place is a solid choice for Mediterranean food.

Conrad S.

Yelp
Very good wraps at cheap prices and fast service always. Easily the best "fast food" I've had in Boston.

Yelp
STILL remains a fave for my UberEats deliveries. So happy to say that the consistency and quality are still HIGH, and I will continue to crave and order from here. The Fattoush Salad and the Veggie Lovers Wrap are my go to things. Always get them and love them!!! The Noor Works is my BFs fave!!! So yummy and fresh. Pretty healthy too ... so I don't have to feel guilty after ordering and eating. Love that it doesn't break the bank. Never changeeeee!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Top tier shawarmas. No matter what you order, this restaurant will make sure to take good care of you.

Yelp
We had a luncheon at work and they ordered food from Noor. I was impressed with the quality and taste. Best Lebanese food I have had here in Mass. Will definitely try it again.

Nate H.

Yelp
Great place! I like their kebab & shawarma plates (you get a lot of food!), as well as their wraps. The baba ghanoush is really tasty. Very friendly and quick service. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Had a great delivery experience from Noor the other day. These days it's hard for me to be able to go out and dine in so I really appreciate restaurants like Noor really getting the delivery set up so efficiently. Everything was well packaged and they had the food ready way before original estimate. The falafel wrap and chicken shawarma wrap were both really excellent. I think they really cooked the falafel and the rotisserie chicken so well it's becoming one my favorite places. I've tried quite a few similar restaurants in the area and I think Noor comes out on top in terms of quality and the value. I'm very happy this place is nearby and look forward to try their other offerings next time. Highly recommended if you enjoy some tasty falafel or shawarma like I do.

Yelp
Authentic Middle Eastern/Mediterranean place just outside of Davis Square. They truly have the best baba ganoush (eggplant dip) that I've had, which says a lot coming from a Middle Eastern family. Other notable items include their sarma (grape leaves), falafel, and shawarma plates/wraps. They also offer trays of protein, rice, and salad ideal for catering a get-together with family or friends.

B F.

Yelp
Great middle eastern food delivery and would order from them again. Haven't been to location.
google avatar

Michelle B.

Yelp
Don't go here- the food was not good. I ordered the fattoush salad with chicken shawarma and it tasted like they just dumped some shreds of extra dry rotisserie chicken on my salad. The dressing tasted like it was all oil and there was way too much of it. The grape leaves tasted like they had ketchup in it. I would not recommend going here

Yelp
With Falafel Place (my go-to for shawarma) temporarily closed for renovations, I opted for delivery from Noor. I was not disappointed! The chicken shawarma platter was generous - great chicken, pickled vegetables, good rice - and I was able to make two delicious meals out of it. The garlic sauce is a must-have with it. It's light and garlicky and would probably go well on everything you could possibly put it on. I decided to supplement this with one order of kibbeh. It was a tiny little parcel of delicious flavors. The ground beef and spices were terrific, and I could eat one of them every day for the rest of my life. I will still be ordering from Falafel Place, but I'm glad that Noor is part of the rotation now.

Yelp
Chicken Schwarma Dinner solid everytime. Delicious juicy chicken, fresh crunchy salad, tasty rice and smooth hummus. Fast delivery. Love this place
google avatar

Ellie L.

Yelp
we've ordered delivery from Noor several times. Food is generally yummy and it is certainly plentiful - enough so to provide lunch the next day. However, be warned that if you order towards the end of the evening, the tabbouleh (couscous salad) will consist mostly in lemon juice and onion - whatever is left at the bottom of bin, I guess. Delivery speed is average (~60 mins). I didn't care for their dolma, but that may be just me!
google avatar

Dil S.

Yelp
Boom! Added to the rotation. Chicken shawarma wrap on saj bread with garlic sauce was nice. Baba dip and tabbouli with pita bread packed with flavor. Kibbee balls and sarma were good as well.
google avatar

Stella K.

Yelp
This is for delivery: Noor is our go-to place for good Mediterranean food. Usually going with the mixed plates; good portions and nicely done. Limited menu. Will order from there again!
google avatar

Nathan P.

Yelp
The Noor Trio with greek salad, garlic hummus, pita and fries is super tasty. The folks who work there are super friendly and they know my voice by name over the phone.
google avatar

Andrei B.

Yelp
Fine. Kind of dry. A bit tasteless. In my wife's words: it's not spectacular but it got the job done.

Amit D.

Yelp
Great food, reasonable prices, and friendly service. Will certainly go back. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Abeer R.

Yelp
It's an all time favorite. Delicious, fresh and high quality. Never failed us. The garlic sauce is so good!

Any W.

Yelp
I think I actually gasped when I opened my salad. It was small yes but oh well it was more about the chicken meat. It all looked like dark meat. And very thin sliced. I just never have seen anything like that before. The pita wasn't very good either. Some seasoning on the salad was very flavorful ( yummy) though.
google avatar

Yelp
I came down the hill for lunch a few weeks ago, after a friend had suggested Noor. It was perfectly fine for lunch, but honestly, nothing impressive. Their menu is pretty large, and does offer many vegetarian options. I went with the falafel gyro, which I felt was a little overpriced considering that it was just a sandwich with no sides or drink, etc. It was very good, but a bit underwhelming. As far as a quick lunch goes, this place is good enough. Would I go out of my way to eat here? Probably not.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
This place is so good - adding to the rotation!!! The shawarma was so tasty - filled with marinated meat, fresh veggies, and delicious sauces. We also got the chicken shawarma platter - the salad was surprisingly good with gorgeous pickled vegetables. The spices and herbs used - including nutmeg - were excellent. The French fries were also welcome side. We were both pleasantly surprised as we couldn't tell if this would just be a meh take-out joint or super tasty - it's super tasty! Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Natalie R.

Yelp
I got "The Works" beef with the special homemade Saj bread. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Really big portion. Yum.

Jinous E.

Yelp
We've had multiple take outs from them. So far I have tried: Chicken breast plate Beef kabob Dariush salad Baba ganoush Hummus Fries Everything has been consistently good except for me personally the beef kabob was too dry and didn't taste right and the fries are just your average fries. Otherwise I like all of their food. Definitely get the garlic sauce on the side for dipping.
google avatar

Dave G.

Yelp
Noor has quickly become our go-to for quick and delicious takeout dinner. I'm a huge fan of the chicken shawarma and my wife is in love with the beef kebabs. Only downsides are that the sarma are a little sweet which was unexpected and the falafel are a bit dry but extremely tasty. 5/5 will continue to shovel works wraps into my face for the foreseeable future!
google avatar

Rana S.

Yelp
I ordered delivery from Noor for the first time and I'm impressed! The food is AMAZING! We got the chicken skewers with rice, hummus, taboule and fattoush. Everything was sooo good. Very good quality, everything was fresh especially the Taboule salad which in most places isn't this fresh. We'll be ordering from this place in future for sure!
google avatar

Benjamin W.

Yelp
I feel like it's hard to go wrong with falafel sandwiches and beef shawarma with french fries. And yet, somehow another sandwich was good. The falafel was bitter and goopy, and the beef was tough and chewy.
google avatar

Michaela L.

Yelp
First time ordering from Noor. Great experience. Food was delicious and fresh. We got delivery and it came right on time / a little early. Food was still nice and warm. We will be ordering again SOON!
google avatar

Christine F.

Yelp
I got the chicken shawarma wrap with both hummus and garlic sauce, as well as lettuce and tomatoes. Delicious! This was such a big wrap for such a good price. I only could eat half!
google avatar

Elizabeth T.

Yelp
My favorite Mediterranean spot around! Always recommend this place to friends that eat chicken or meat because they do it right.
google avatar

VietCitron T.

Yelp
Got a beef Shawarma and eggplant dip take out. Very tasty, great portion, and quick service!

Yelp
Great Armenian/Mediterranean fresh food - tastes like my Grandma's kebabs! If you're looking for a nice middle eastern place for take out during this pandemic time...you've found the restaurant. Arsen has twice delivered individually packaged meals for our hard-working staff at the Armenian Nursing & Rehab Center. And what a treat it has been! The beef and chicken kebab taste like Grandma's, at church bazaar or picnic! So very flavorful as was the rice pilaf, pickles, fabulous hummus and crisp salad. He has a very consistent product (which is reasonably priced) is very professional and kind. All of this is so appreciated during this tough time on our hard working staff. Thank you Arsen - I look forward to visiting you at the restaurant someday...soon!

Yelp
Coronavirus era review. The food from Noor was a big boost to my psyche -- a nice warm dinner platter, enough for two meals, making a self isolation a lot less depressing! They have a good social distancing set up -- they only allow person in at a time to pickup the takeout order; they place the order on a table in front of the counter so there's distance between the cashier/staff and the customer. Wish this place all the best during crazy times!

Nancy K.

Yelp
The service was great. The staff were really friendly and my food came up quick. I got the chicken wrap. While the ingredients were all fresh and the wrap was substantial in size, there was an odd out-of-place flavor. Like cinnamon or a very mild curry. Something that didn't square with a middle eastern flavor profile. I don't think I'd return. I'd be afraid of that flavor showing up again and overpowering the whole meal.
google avatar

Ameen D.

Yelp
I've been living in Boston for almost 4 years and unfortunately I've been disappointed by most of the Mediterranean restaurants I've been to. I have tried many of them. I ate at Noor Mediterranean yesterday and was absolutely blown away the food. I ordered the Noor trio with rice, hummus and tabouli and I ordered the chicken kabob dinner with rice, fatoush salad and garlic sauce. I also ordered a side of the beef shawarma meat. Everything was cooked fresh and you can tell they used good cuts of meat. Anyone that doesn't give this place 5 stars has no idea what they are talking about when it comes to Mediterranean food. I'm only in Boston for few more months but will be back as much as I can.
google avatar

Mel O.

Yelp
An ex introduced me to Noor years ago and I can't thank them enough. I recently placed a quarantine dinner order for delivery, and within 5 minutes I got a call from the owner that they were out of kibbe but would give me something else, no charge. I got tabbouli instead, and the food was delicious as always. Noor ALWAYS delivers earlier than the expected window, and their garlic sauce is always incredible. Thank you for your food and for your service!

Dillon W.

Yelp
Some of the best shawarma and other Middle Eastern dishes that I've had on this side of the Atlantic. My orders are always correct and speedy. I absolutely recommend!
google avatar

Q I.

Yelp
Food very tasty, but really too much oil. Even the tabouli is oily. It's supposed to be fresh, they put a ton of oil into it. The wrap is the same, the oil dripped out. I finally had to throw it away, which is a shame.

David M.

Yelp
Don't forget the kibbee balls and sarma!! Definitely shoot for the tabbouli too. You get good food for a good value all while supporting a small, local business! Nice to have some good Armenian-centric food nearby :)

Julie S.

Yelp
We ordered dinner plates for delivery, and the flavors are incredible. The meats were tender and juicy. The sides were all great. Will definitely order again!
google avatar

Annemarie G.

Yelp
I'm sorry this has taken so long but... Noor ( and Arsen and his team) catered my son's graduation party in May. We had 80 people in our backyard under tents. It was incredible. Just perfect. As he promised, Arsen took care of everything - I had no worries - and the food was fantastic. We had parents from all over the U.S., Central and South America and Europe ( pressure was on, let me tell you) and Arsen truly outdid himself. Beef kebab that melted in your mouth. Chicken kebab moist as could be. Losh that an Armenian Grandma would be proud to call her own. The Sarma was amazing too. Delicious from start to finish. And, did I mention, all in keeping with a few allergies we have in the house. Thank you, Arsen, for helping us throw an awesome party and for last night's smaller one as well.

Yelp
Ridiculously good Mediterranean food While visiting Tufts our family of four recently ate at Noor. We were gobsmacked that Mediterranean food of this quality could be had at a dive in Somerville. The beef shawarma, mixed veggie plate, and falafel were all some of the best we've ever had - including (admittedly much fancier) places that charge twice the price. The business seemed to be mostly takeout with around 6 tables for two. The guy behind the counter was sweet as could be though the atmosphere was definitely low end. That said, I have a saying that I apply to restaurants and businesses in general - "By their bathrooms you shall know them". And the care Noor puts into its food and service was reflected in its spotless restroom.
