We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant! The tandoori chicken was absolutely outstanding — juicy, full-flavored, and cooked to perfection. The spices hit just right, and every bite was delicious. What really stood out was the customer service: the staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely wanted to make sure we had a great meal. From the warm welcome to the helpful recommendations and prompt service, we felt truly taken care of. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving great Indian food and great hospitality — can’t wait to come back!

For over three years, I have been coming to Noorjahan, and every time I feel like I am the hungriest man alive. The food is phenomenal and the taste is the best Indian food I have ever had at any Indian restaurant. I used to come with my roomate almost once a week, and now i make sure to have this restaurant in my navigation for any bigger get togethers with friends. Shout out to Salma, she is an amazing waitress and very personable. I am sad to be moving away from Michigan, but any time I come back to the state I will make sure to visit this store.

We were in the mood for some butter chicken and didn’t wanna make the drive to our go to spot on the other side of town. New Little India at 23 & Van Dyke. Noorjahan is the second place we’ve tried on this side of town. Food was delivered hot. Everything we ordered was present & accounted for. Two orders of butter chicken, one mild, one medium. The kick was noticeable in the medium. Chicken was tender, sauce was good. The rice was fresh & warm. Naan. We snagged a regular garlic naan & a cheese naan. Both were good. I’m noticing a big difference flavor wise from my go to place & these Eastside Indian restaurants. Depth of flavor? Where is it? I hate to take a star a way, but I’m to the point where I can heat up a store bought butter chicken sauce, add my own chicken & serve it over basmati rice I make at home and if I put it in a to go container, it could pass as restaurant quality these days. The Naan, average. Little garlic, little oil. A few specks of fresh herbs & Im supposed to be ok with paying 12 plus dollars for a two orders of Naan? I’m paying 50$ dollars for butter chicken & naan for two and it’s average at best. Take some time with that butter chicken man, develop those flavors. The Naan, it’s not an after thought….. it’s the co star of this dish. Treat it as such. Still searching for the my go to spot on the Eastside.

20 out of 10 experience no exaggeration From the moment we walked in the energy was warm and welcoming. The waitress was so kind attentive and genuinely sweet. She made us feel like family and even surprised us with a free soup 🥣 and let me tell you that soup was absolutely delicious As a vegan I was blown away by the flavor and variety of options. Every dish I had was seasoned to perfection and so satisfying 😋. My family couldn’t stop raving about the shrimp 🍤 they loved it And the portions? Huge 🍛 We left with bags of leftovers. Definitely worth every penny and then some If you’re looking for amazing Indian food a cozy vibe and top tier service Noorjahan Indian Grill is the spot. I’ll definitely be back again and again ❤️

Fantastic food. Ordered online, picked up quickly and easily. Big portions. There are lots of options for spice level on dishes. Take them seriously! I didn’t and my “hot” dish was definitely spicy. But delicious!! Next time I order, I’ll be ordering a bit lower level.

Went here on my lunch break. Love the interior design. Friendly staff. Mahi and Rahman was the best. Food was chef’s kiss. I got the chicken curry, veggie samosa, chicken pakora, garlic naan, and a mango lassi. Of course I couldn’t finish it all. Portions was very nice. Every thing taste so good.

So so happy to have such a good Indian restaurant nearby. We have ordered pick up and delivery before. This is our first time dining in. Every time the food is delicious. We always want to try more than we can fit in our bellies as it’s all yummy. The atmosphere is friendly, pleasant and welcoming. Comfortable booth seating. Feels private even though it’s a very open environment. Today we had Starter: chicken pakora and veg samosa served with delicious 3 spice side Fish curry and lamb saag (spinach) medium spice which comes with rice but we were greedy for garlic naan too Saffron rice pudding for dessert (sooo good!!) Normally I’d get a lassi to offset any spice (and it’s also tasty!!) Note: Make sure you know your spice tolerance. They offer mild, medium and spicy. We go for mild to Medium. And that’s with me thinking I’ve had good experience from the UK and Asia! (Great to hear the chefs enjoying trad music in the kitchen. Added to the authenticity feel of the cooking ;) and always lovely to hear someone enjoying themselves! )
