"Noosh brings Georgetown a two-part menu filled with Persian favorites on one side and Mediterranean staples on the other. Noosh quietly opened this month with takeout to start, and sit-down service entered the fold on Friday, November 19. Noosh is the more refined counterpart to 280 Eatery, its fast-casual sister next door. At Noosh, chef Tarek Diab showcases his Persian background with marinated meat and seafood kabobs served over saffron basmati rice, stews like fesenjoon and ghormeh sabzi, and Persian ice cream for dessert. On the Mediterranean front, dishes include chicken tagine, falafel, lamb and curry, and lamb shank stewed in saffron. Appetizers include spanakopita, hummus, Greek lentil soup, and tabbouleh. Noosh aims to respect and celebrate both cuisines by serving comforting dishes. The restaurant plans to open for lunch and dinner on specific days and accepts reservations by phone and online." - Tierney Plumb

Noosh was a totally pleasant surprise! Serving a mix of Persian and Mediterranean staples, the menu has something for meat lovers and vegetarians alike. We ended up getting takeout kabob and a few appetizers. The staff were incredibly friendly when we showed up and everything was perfectly packed for our walk home.

Enjoyed a cozy lunch here on a cold day. The Persian tea is delicious. We loved the Kashk O B eggplant appetizer, chicken shwarma sandwich with fries, and ginger chicken curry with artichokes and carrots served with saffron rice. Our sever Santos was so gracious, welcoming, and helpful. I would definitely return.

Food was ok, needed salt and pepper (not many Persian flavors). Be careful. They overcharged us by $2.00 on every entree. On the menu it says $14.95 and $16.95 on our bill it said $16.95 and $18.95....shame on them...we will not return...2 stars was kind!

Great food, friendly service, and reasonably priced. I think the mixed reviews must be because there’s so little of them but I highly recommend!!
