We dined here in December 2025 for the experience. This experience is certainly unique. You’re dining on the 4th floor of the hotel, in a chalet. The chalet is temperature controlled to your comfort levels, and has a speaker with an iPad to control the music (or use the Nordic Village playlist). It’s friggin adorable. The meal consists of four delicious courses. We were treated to a smorgasbord, potato and leek soup, a large amount of mains, and dessert! There were no failures for what food we received. They accommodated our food restrictions with no issue. Fantastic service from Kim (our server), she answered questions and made suggestions about the cocktails and mocktails. She checked in at just the right time and had a great attitude throughout. Despite the below freezing temperatures outside. When parking for the Four Seasons for this experience, valet parking prices are significantly less. Highly suggest using them for parking. We will definitely return again for this experience in the future.

Our dinner at Nordic Village exceeded our expectations. For the price, I figured this would be a one time splurge as a gift to my wife. I was so blown away by the food, ambiance, and service, however, that I could be easily persuaded to make this an annual outing. Four Seasons is really on to something with this seasonal offering. We were there for dinner on Christmas and the food was phenomenal! Every single dish, every sauce, and every flavor was well thought out and exceptionally balanced. I loved that nearly every dish was a new experience for both of us. I could not pick out a favorite but the highlights were the first Smorgasbord , the Dopp I Gryta, the Mains and the Dessert. ;). Yes, everything was a highlight. The Duck Country Patè - outstanding Smoked whitefish - wow! Venison tartar - yum! Venison stew - OMG! And that cake!!! Not only was the food outstanding but there was plenty of it. I started getting full after just the smorgasbord but powered through to eat everything served. The ambiance was very cozy and well thought out. It definitely gets you in the holiday mood. This review would not be complete without a shout-out to our server, Maria. She was perfect. Somehow she always knew exactly when we needed another drink and when we were ready for the next course. We never felt like we were waiting and we never felt like we were rushed. She was so friendly without being overbearing. Again, she was perfect and we thank her (and the hostess, chefs, etc) for working on Christmas so we could have such a special experience.

What a special treat on Thanksgiving Day!!! We could not get reservations last year but sure did in 2025. The coziness and uniquebess of this experience was excellent. Food was plenty and very rich with amazing flavors. We were very happy to experience this. It was pricey but it was worth it, super unique and very well executed. We were glad it was a cold and snowy day. Huge thanks to the Chefs and Staff.

The Nordic Village was so fun! We came here for my birthday and it was definitely a very different and unique experience! We had a 4 course meal with some very delicious cocktails! The buildings were nice and warm, and service was excellent! If you’re not interested in investing in the experience or adventuring unique foods, you can always check out their Nordic Market during the day, or get a drink at the Lodge instead! Parking was a little confusing (we navigated the parking ramp of The Four Seasons), so give yourself some time before your reservation. Better yet, get there early for a cocktail at The Lodge! Let them know about parking so you can get a discount for the ramp.

We went for the Thanksgiving Dinner. The cabins were amazing, plenty of room for 6, cozy warm, TV and fun decorations . The food was disappointing. The chef tried too hard in creativity, simple and traditional would have fit the bill. Disappointing for the 4 Seasons.

Google
Nordic Village delivers excellent service and a cozy, immersive ambiance that truly makes you feel like you’re in another country enjoying a thoughtfully crafted Nordic meal. Many of the menu choices reinforce that identity beautifully. Unfortunately, the inclusion of foie gras is a glaring misstep. It is neither Nordic nor aligned with the sustainability and ethics that define modern Nordic cuisine, and its presence undercuts an otherwise intentional concept. Remove foie gras, and Nordic Village would be stronger, more authentic, and easier to wholeheartedly recommend.

Indulging in a lavish Nordic four-course meal at Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis served in your private cabin on a chilly day is an unparalleled dining experience right in the heart of the city! The food spread was incredible! They were also kind enough to accommodate my dietary restrictions and offered me substitute dishes. The service was top-notch. Each course was served at regular intervals, giving us enough time to soak in the ambiance. It is an expensive meal for 2! But it is worth it.

Yelp
I have never been to the Four Seasons hotel and I thought the Nordic Village would be a great way to check it out. Head in through the front doors and take the elevator up to the 4th floor. Grab some free hot apple cider and a donut hole and head out to the roof top shopping area. Tiny cabins await you with artisans ready to help you learn about their wonderful products. I bought some Kind Lips lip balm. I loved the mission to end bullying and spread kindness. Plus the lib balm felt great on my lips. Lots of cool things from candles to skin and hair products to choose from. Staff was very welcoming. Best in class atmosphere.

Yelp
This is my first 5-star rating in a long time, and that's because the Nordic Village at the Four Seasons over-delivered! What an epic, romantic and well-thought-out experience! Right from the moment we stepped out of the lift on the 4th floor, we were met with a festive atmosphere and were immediately offered a sparkling N/A drink. We waited about 3 minutes before our cabin was ready and were ushered onto the rooftop to the Bemidji cabin. Our hostess was kind enough to take beautiful pictures of us against the stunning downtown backdrop. The cabin's interior was breathtaking- simple yet cozy and elegant. We adjusted the music to something more appealing and cranked the heater way up! They provided fluffy blankets, too. The vibe overall is quite romantic, even if it's set up to accommodate four diners. They also have cabins that sit up to 8. You would need to reserve up to a month in advance. Dinner was a four-course meal, faultless and gorgeously served. We had delicious gluten-free crackers for starters and a fluffy dessert cookie for the s'mores. It's worth noting that all our drinks were on the house. I recommend the cider tea. Our waitress was lovely and attentive; she made our experience even more memorable. I cannot recommend the Nordic Village enough.

Yelp
This is a unique experience in dining but that is what you are paying for. Plain and simple the food is way overpriced. I lose faith in Yelp seeing 4-5 star reviews of something so underwhelming. Even the experience isn't really all that fantastic: sitting in a small cabin that is difficult to get in and out of, hard for the servers to serve properly, and difficult to maintain a good temperature. The ambiance was just a huge tv on the wall that had an assortment of bad music selections and took away from the old cabin feel. The first few courses were just bland fillers that cover up for a horrid selection of mains. The salmon is fishy (they even will tell you this), and the beef is just 'ok'. The wines were $20/glass or $70+ a bottle with most in the hundreds. We asked for the Mara wine list so we could find decent bottles that weren't triple marked up. One positive is the wines are properly chilled, which is something so many fail at in the area. I'm guessing they are benefitting from Mara's wine storage. On that note, if you are going to spend this much just go to Mara which is in the same building. You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Nordic Village at Four Seasons Minneapolis. Part of an extended 30th Anniversary celebration. Made reservations through their Tock app two weeks in advance. Had drinks downstairs at the bar first. The little ski cabins are set up on the pool deck. Everything was great except it drags on a little long with all the courses. Going again for Valentine's Day! PS it's Four Seasons so it's pricey.
