Nordic Ware Factory Store

Google
Very cool place! Right near the factory that makes the products. My favorite part of the store was the seasonal stuff and the discounted irregular items and closeouts

I love this store. Friendly staff, yummy samples of cinnamon and sugar lefsa, andthey carry anything baking related. Very reasonably price bakeware.

If you love baking with Bundt pans like I do, this is absolutely a dream destination. It's a small shop with a LOT of awesome stuff. I visited in mid-November, so they had autumn and Halloween things on mark-down and quite a few new winter pieces out. The folks who work here are the nicest people and they actually wanted to help me save money---how awesome is that?! I'd found a few pieces I wanted, and one of the ladies who worked there said, "I think we have those in the back," and took me to where they have the yellow tag seconds and clearance items. Here's a helpful hint for if you shop in this area: the uglier pans are apparently the ones for industrial use, meaning they are not pretty on the outside but the interior is triple-coated and will last a lot longer because they are designed for heavy use. Now, with all the goods in this section, you have to look carefully for scratches and dings, but I found things in good condition that were about $20 less than their 'pretty' counterparts across the room. The factory store doesn't sell goods online. They are all about the treasure hunt mentality. I certainly found some treasures!

What a fun place to look for baking supplies! The people working in the store were amazingly helpful and they ship your purchases home at a very reasonable cost. I just wish they had had a factory tour, that would’ve made the whole experience perfect.

The Nordic Ware Factory Store is a Bundt baker’s paradise! I love Nordic Ware pans and had one even before I moved to Minneapolis (where they're manufactured). They are really high quality pans and bundts are so fun to create awesome, decorative cakes with minimal decorating effort. It was a delight when my partner discovered the Nordic Ware Factory Store was only a 15 minute drive from us! It's a smaller store than you might imagine given the “Factory” in its name, but it's flush with Bundt pans and other baking and cooking supplies. And since it is a factory store, they sell irregulars here as well at a discount which is super nice if you're trying to find a nice Bundt on a budget! The layout of the store is great and the staff here are friendly. I definitely recommend checking out the Nordic Ware Factory Store—it’s a must if you love baking!

Finally got a chance to stop here. Pretty cool place with lots of different baking pans. Prices are very reasonable and staff were all very welcoming.

Google
I successfully found all the items I was looking for at a reasonable price. The staff provided valuable assistance during my search.

Just had the worst encounter with the most obnoxious person working at this store. Apparently, if you want to ask a question, they’re going to laugh in your face and make fun of you.

Yelp
A treasure trove of baking delights! Current and offer vintage pans.... The palm tree banana bread pan, the honey comb etc. there are seconds, and usually sales, books, classes, and specialized ingredients ( food dye / bakers Joy). The ladies who run this are knowledgeable and able to help you with most dilemmas. Be sure to sign up for the rewards program!

Yelp
Cute and cozy factory store selling the latest and seconds! Sometimes you want the new thing, other times the Christmas mold on sale in March will satisfy that shopping itch. They have a loyalty program; so if you get addicted, you're gonna need some help to get out

Yelp
I was visiting from out of state and this was on my bucket list. It's a nice small store. Well stocked with regular priced items and irregulars. I was told that the prices were cheaper than in the store because they were made next door. I checked some of the prices with other vendors and on Nordic Ware website. It wasn't cheaper so I asked the question. She said places like Amazon sells it cheaper but doesn't come with a guarantee. I don't think I need a guarantee for a something like this so I didn't buy anything when I can order it from home. But I found a cook Bundt cake ornament and a Nordic ware swedish dish towel as great souvenirs of my visit. I do recommend checking this place out because they may have things that aren't sold in all the stores. I do like the brand and the product is very well made.

Yelp
This is heaven for those that like to bake and definitely paradise for people who collect Bundt pans! Worth the trip as the prices are really much less even compared to their on-line store and definitely much less compared to William Sonoma or Amazon. They even have a clearance area! They even have baking gadgets I haven't seen before that are good for college kids, microwaveable English egg McMuffins anyone? Or cure pancake molds if you have the kitchen space. Worth the visit if you're in Minnesota! Oh they have free Bundt cake tasting too, if you're lucky enough during your visit!

Yelp
A while back I was in need of a replacement stovetop Nordic Ware Krumkake Iron. I decided to stop by the factory store not too far East of my home. Frankly, I'm glad I did. I wandered the crowded aisles where tables, shelves and walls were filled with what I found to be tempting items. To my surprise most if not all sold for full retail. I guess that I may have expected outlet pricing. But the overall quality made for a good value. While there, I encountered a group from out of town who had this place as one to visit on their trip. They all seemed to be enjoying themselves. In fact, on this day they and I were hardly the only customers. Many appeared fascinated with the near bewildering array of goods for sale. It may be a bit tricky to find as it is quite visible from busy Hi-way 7. Again, to repeat, this is not an outlet. Expect to pay full retail although selection could be said to represent relative bargains. I found this staffed by very helpful, cordial people who seem only to want to be of assistance. In the end, I walked out with not only the iron I came for but several other things that caught my eye. Oh well... I guess that's the way the Krumkake crumbles.

Yelp
Stopped here last week in the search for discounted Made in the U.S.A. muffin and cookie sheets, and left with both! Both were slightly irregular/scratched, but will made zero difference when baking items with them, so was very happy to get them both for about 50% of the retail price. Place was super busy, but line moved fast. Only damper on the experience was the older lady at the counter, who was initially cordial, but them seemed offended when I asked/verified if the products I bought were made in U.S.A.? She moodily responded, "yeah they're made a few hundred feet away." Not sure why she thought it was a stupid question (as a lot of the stuff in the store was labeled as "Made in China" and the products I bought had no country of origin label. Possibly she was shameful because she, (like a lot of American's) give no thought to where all the crap they purchase comes from, and was so reminded of such when I asked about where items were made..either way nasty person that shouldn't be working with the public.

Yelp
I grew up in Minneapolis but now live in California. I ALWAYS stop at the Nordic Ware Factory Outlet when I visit the Twin Cities. In fact, I bring a list of everything my friends want, and even call them from the store to let them know what's available. The last trip, my suitcase exceeded the 50 pound weight limit by about half a pound. When I told the airline agent that it was because of too much Nordic Ware, she lifted the handle of my suitcase slightly so the weight was at 50 pounds! "We can't charge you an excess baggage fee when you're supporting a Minnesota manufacturer," she said. Nordic Ware "blems" are almost undetectable (paint overspray, slight casting blemish), don't interfere with use, and are half price. I bought a 3-cup mini Bundt pan this last trip, and they gave me free printed recipes for scratch cakes that fit perfectly in it. (Just the size for 2-4 people.) Now all my friends want a 3-cup Bundt pan too....

Yelp
Not just Nordic Ware but lots of cooking, baking and kitchen stuff. Even my reluctant husband thought it was a fun place to shop. They have great prices. They even offer cooking classes! Nice little find in the Twin Cities.

Yelp
I live very close to the Nordic Ware Factory Outlet yet it had taken me nearly 4 years to stop in. Probably because it's located on a frontage road parallel to Hghwy 7 and it never seemed convenient enough. But I'm glad I finally did. Need a pastry board for Lefse? How about a bundt pan for every imaginable holiday? Dough scoopers? Stove top kitchen smoker? Spring form pans? Well, they have it all here. Don't confuse this place with any William Sonoma, Cooks, or Sur la Table--it's in no way exhaustive. It's also full of stuff I think one hardly needs (again 30 types of bundt pans), but it's fun to poke around. It also motivates you to bake, which could be a good or bad thing, but considering it's the holiday season, it's at least apropos. As far as the prices are concerned, I can't say I found any really good deals (but then again, I'm not really sure how much a spritzer, rosette maker, or bundt pan should cost), but they did have a selection of seconds. Nothing seemed pricey. Nordic Ware is local, and it's always fun to support local. And even though it's a little random, you should check it out.

Yelp
I may not be a kid anymore and don't spend every single dollar I have on toys/bubble gum cards....Okay, I am lying I probably spend 1/2 of my salary at Hub Hobby and increasing my probability my demise and divorce. But my 'other' fetish is buying kitchen gadgets and it is up there with my fondness with model airplanes. Why is that okay? Well, my wife doesn't have issue I spend time in the kitchen cooking than me spending my time in my man cave with my other 'worthless' toys. Nordic Ware has pretty much everything that most chefs would love to have. I love their variety of pans and gadgets, especially their closeout items. Although most closeouts for other stores are not worth it because most items nobody wants. It is not true in this case when I went to this store. It is located on the far left wall when you walked into the show room. There were plenty of non-stick pans as well as commercial pans to choose from. I could easily spend 2-3 hours looking at every single item here and spend my entire pay check for everything I wanted. If you love kitchen gadgets, this is a great place to go to explore on a lazy Saturday.

Yelp
I worked in a housewares store for a few years and knew the quality of Nordic Ware products. When I came to Minneapolis for a visit, I felt a little silly, but confessed that I really wanted to visit the Nordic Ware factory store. I visited with family en masse, and found great bargains on a large range of products, including barely-scratched factory discards. The sales ladies were knowledgable and helpful. Everyone ended up finding something that inspired her to bake, and my local relatives were surprised to learn that such a great store was so nearby. If you like to cook, bake, or need a gift for someone who does, it's a great little place.

Yelp
it easy to see the sign for this place but harder to actually find a way in to the little frontage road it is on. I did make it though and really hoped to find better steals and deals there....than I did. The staff is really friendly and nice and the best thing I found out was that sometimes they host cooking classes for reasonable prices. I quickly signed me and a friend up and it was a wonderful evening. We made homemade guac and salsa---and some pork loin---I really enjoyed the class and it was all ladies....no freakin' couples which I am sick to death of when I try to go and have a ladies night out....these newlyweds haven't been married long enough to appreciate a night out alone yet...You can save a couple dollars on nordic ware here but nothing that makes you want to buy the store out because they still aren't giving it away...

Deb V.

Yelp
The class was inexpensive but if you are looking for a "real" cooking class, this one was not it. The person teaching wasn't a chef/cook, but someone that raised veggies for a living and was what I would call a "country cook" by personal experience. She incorporated some packaged food items into her recipes. Also, the recipes were not what I would serve... so the class was a bit of a disappointment. That being said, I did learn about the cookware that she used and a nice discount was offered for purchases that night.

Yelp
Cookware/bakeware store that is well lit and staffed by friendly helpful people. While the layout could be more logical the fact is that the items for sale are top notch and at very great prices. Be sure to check out some of the smaller items in the corners and near the entry door as there are some great finds, and may work well if you need some stocking stuffers. There are some excellent buys such as the silicone baking mat (similar to Silpat) for about half of what I have seen in other stores. If you have recently moved and need to stock a kitchen this place is a MUST visit! The store also hosts cooking classes, but I can not review that aspect, as I have not attended any of their classes yet.

Yelp
Although there are many a day when I find myself reheating leftover frozen pizzas for dinner, I like to think of myself as a closet cooking/baking freak! So I was pretty excited when my mom brought me here...I have received a few pretty cool gifts from here before, and couldn't wait to make a stop. If you need cooking or baking gadgets, pans, or obscure pastry dishes, this is the place! Not a comprehensive kitchen store, as Amanda S. said, but it has some stuff that would be hard to find elsewhere. Personally, I am a huge fan of Bundt cakes, and their selection of funky shaped Bundt pans had me itching to bake some sassy cakes! I ended purchasing a Bundt pan in the shape of a castle (my second castle cake pan...I will soon be baking whole villages worth of cakes!) Also, I really liked the interesting kitchen trinkets they have here. I bought a container where you can make a boiled onion or steamed broccoli in just 5 minutes in the microwave. Also, they have cool clay disks that make sure your brown sugar never goes hard! Although this place is pretty out of the way, if your kitchen needs some spontaneity or you just want some random bakeware, come to this place!

Yelp
Closeout bakeware and cookware, sometimes at deeply discounted prices. Springform, bundt, sheet - basically any sort of cake pan you need. They have a closeout section in the back and occasional sales as well. It's not as comprehensive as a regular kitchen store, but has a big selection of their brand's different products. Really great for bakers - I got a lovely springform pan for much less than average retail. additionally, friendly mom-like staff and, when I was visiting, cake samples.

Yelp
Ordered a cake pan which came in a timely manner for a bunt cake pan that is in the shape of conversation hearts. It is sturdy. It is supposed to be non stick or reasonably so, however, because of the design I still suggest using butter and sugar to coat to get the mold out in one piece. Reasonably priced.
