Fine fragrances department at the Arcadia location is the best. Adinai at is an outstanding associate! She is a prime example of the Nordstrom customer service experience! She’s in tune with customer tastes and what you’re going to like before you know it, she made us a sample of Kilian Roses on Ice and the scent kept calling to us we soon went back and my son bought a bottle for me.

I ordered a pair of shoes through on-line customer service which came in the wrong size I took them back to the Santa Anita Nordstrom store. The customer service was "excellent." My shoe department representative assisted me immediately upon my access to the counter. She was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and through as she returned the previously purchased shoes, and then ordered a different shoe for me. I could not have asked for better service. She was just that good, particularly in today's world where good customer service is so rare. Thank you Nordstrom for staffing and training good people.

This review is specifically for sales associate Emily Z. whom I met at the Shiseido counter. She was very polite, confident, and engaged with me as an interested customer. She was patient and willing to answer all of my questions, and was not afraid to honestly admit when she wasn’t sure of the answer, but would be happy to follow-up. For example, I had asked if the tinted sunscreens contained both iron oxide and zinc oxide, and she followed up by searching the specific ingredients list for me. She kindly allowed me to browse in peace and remained ready to answer any further questions I had. She described to me the luxury line only when prompted, and I never felt pressured to make a selection. It was a great shopping experience, and I would be extremely grateful to have Emily Z. help me again in the future.

I bought a pair of Cloud shoes from Nordstrom in 2023, and less than two years later, holes have formed in the fabric. I went back expecting at least an exchange, especially since Nordstrom is known for its customer service and quality guarantee. Instead, they refused to do anything about it. The shoes clearly didn’t hold up under normal wear, and I’m really disappointed that Nordstrom wouldn’t stand behind the product. I expected better.

They block the women’s bathroom entrance on the downstairs with the cleaning cart. I saw the janitor lady walk out and was done with her shift. But she was rude and blocked the bathroom so no one could enter inside. Very rude. There’s also no soap! A lot of paper towels on the floor and so messy

I had a very disappointing experience at Nordstrom due to the unprofessional behavior of a manager named Lizeth. When I approached her with a concern about a defective item I purchased, she didn’t let me finish explaining before cutting me off. To make matters worse, she was eating dried mangoes while talking to me—mid-conversation, in front of customers. When I asked about it, she casually said a customer gave them to her. It felt like she wasn’t taking the situation seriously at all. This kind of behavior is not what I expect from Nordstrom. I left feeling unheard, disrespected, and frustrated. I hope the company addresses this kind of conduct so other customers don’t have the same experience.

Special shoutout to Celeste in the women's clothing department. After losing all of the weight I gained from pregnancy I wanted to get a pair of new jeans. Celeste helped me out and I was so impressed by her skills as a salesperson. I never felt pressured at all but she was so helpful in a way that I couldn't say no to her suggestions. I planned on only buying one pair of jeans but I walked out with three pairs - all of them which I genuinely loved. I told her that since I'm a new mom time is my most treasured currency right now so she offered to be my personal stylist so that next time I can come and she will have a few outfits selected in advance for me to try. Love it when I run into such excellent customer service. I have a certain level of expectation when I shop at Nordstrom's but Celeste went way above and beyond what I ever could have expected. Thank you Celeste and see ya very soon!

I visited Nordstrom Arcadia on Monday, June 30 to exchange a pair of Valentino heels I had purchased just a few days earlier. I wore them once and realized they were uncomfortable, and also noticed that part of the sole (the glued section) had already come loose. A male staff member was helpful and called over a woman--possibly the manager--for assistance. She told me I couldn't return or exchange the shoes because I had already worn them and they were no longer in original condition. She also mentioned the shoes were in perfect condition at the time of purchase, so the defect must have been caused by me. Her only solution was to glue the sole back on the spot, saying it wasn't a big deal. However, I paid $1,200 for these shoes--having them come apart after just one wear is not acceptable. Even if it's a small issue, it reflects poor quality and is disappointing. She also said they couldn't take the shoes back because Nordstrom wouldn't be able to resell them. But frankly, that shouldn't be the customer's responsibility. I declined the offer to fix them and went to the South Coast Plaza location instead, where the staff was much more professional and understanding--they exchanged the shoes for me without any issue. This experience at Arcadia was frustrating and disappointing. I hope the management there reconsiders how these situations are handled and treats high-end customers with more care and consistency. For anyone dealing with returns or exchanges, I would strongly recommend going to the South Coast Plaza location for a better experience.

I visited the beauty department for a Chinese new year event with Yensa Beauty. It was set up very nicely and the staff was very accommodating. I appreciated how organized the event was with the seating arrangement and demo that a Nordstrom beauty artist did for the guests. After the presentation I experienced a shade matching with the Nordstrom staff and it was a fun time. It was very easy to ask questions and understand the quality of the products with the expertise they had to offer. Also the goodie bag was an excellent perk!

Came here for the beauty trend event today and it was such a good event! They had food, drinks and lots of samples. Loved all the products that I tried today. I also got a make over and a mini facial. I really like the westman atelier make up and the 111skin face masks, definitely recommend it. My face is glowing :) can't wait for next year!

The products and the customer service at Nordstrom is 5 stars. If you want to avoid being in a crowded restaurant, I suggest going to their Cafe on the second floor. Recently, I went with my daughter and her husband to Nordstrom. She said she wanted to go to the Ebar which is on the first floor. It brought back great memories when she ordered an Italian Soda with cream and topped with whipped cream. She proceeded to tell her husband that it was something that she ordered ever since she was a little kid. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because of my experience with alterations at this Nordstrom location. I love that they offer free alterations. I believe that the amount of free alterations is dependent upon your Nordy Club status? Then again, I remember my parents receiving free alterations whenever they purchased clothing at Nordstrom, but that was before the Nordy Club. This was my first time to have this location hem my jeans. I brought in 7 pairs of jeans that needed to be hemmed. There were 2 brands of jeans. I was told by Bodie to just wear one pair of each brand. She used chalk to mark the locations of where the jeans needed to be hemmed. I didn't bother trying on the jeans at Nordstrom after they were altered. When I got home, I was highly disappointed that 5 of the 7 jeans were too long. I called their alterations department and asked Oscar (Alerations Manager) if they could please expedite the timeframe, since I will be going out of the country in about two weeks. He was very accommodating and said he'd be able to expedite the pick up date. I informed Susie that this was my second attempt in having my jeans altered. She told me she could get Bodie, and I asked her if she could please help me because I did not want to come back again. Susie was very nice and patient. She used pins to mark the locations for the hems. Based upon how meticulous Susie was, I have a feeling that I will be very happy with my jeans. Susie is a 5 star employee.

I usually don't leave reviews, but my interaction with a sales associate named Gloria in Women's Clothing on the second floor was concerning enough to warrant feedback. I was standing in her register line while it was open. She turned toward me, clearly waiting for me to ask a question, and I inquired if I could make a return with her. She had only one customer ahead of me, while other registers had longer lines. She rudely replied, "You can go to any available register." I noted that the other lines were longer, and she mentioned she "might be taking a while"--however, the attitude she conveyed made it clear she was gatekeeping her register and was unwilling to assist me. As I walked away, she shouted across the floor, "I'M HELPING A CUSTOMER." Gloria's volume was so loud that other associates and customers heard her and appeared alarmed. The tone was performative and unprofessional, and the entire incident was both bizarre and disproportionate. Her inappropriate behavior was unsettling and completely unaligned with the level of service I have come to expect from Nordstrom. Another associate, who had a considerably longer line and was clearly managing a heavier workload, was much more helpful. She apologized without requiring an explanation, as Gloria's conduct was loud enough to be heard throughout the area. I later returned, calmly asked for Gloria's name, and left. I said nothing else--because nothing else needed to be said. Just flagging this for management. A little grace goes a long way, and I hope someone addresses it.

I prefer this Nordstrom to the one that's a little closer to my house. I can almost always find what I'm looking for and the store is clean and organized. The employees are always pleasant, but sometimes it feels like they're intentionally avoiding eye contact. I don't usually need assistance beyond the cashier, but on those rare occasions when I do, it's rough. What I would like to bring attention to is their Curbside Pickup. They have something like 16 stalls dedicated to curbside pickup and recently it seems at least 12 spots are taken by cars NOT there for that service. Alexander, the employee who brought out my order today, was very quick, polite, and friendly.

One thing that Nordstrom has and no other department store in Los Angeles can compete is their customer service. My wool of my Ugg slippers after a few months ripped and bare leather was exposed. I wasn't sure if this was a defective shoe but tried my luck. I returned to the store and they graciously exchanged them no questions asked. The only condition is to have a valid receipt. Bravo Nordstrom: I will come back for sure!!

Today January 25 th I was came to Nostram to try on cosmetic~ is been a long time no came back to CHANEL, I only remember the CHANEL sale Amy (Taiwanese) is very professional and nice. The Chinese New Years is coming soon, is the time to buy CHANEL. And, my focus is on foundation No. 1 de CHANEL today~ I remember Nostram has mini container can use; they said: 「try it before you buy」 So, I grab two containers to try ( I hope is fine ) and then I walk in the CHANEL booth, they come service and asked can I help you? ( a Mexican lady dress Chinese new years red long dress clothes ) I asked: I wanna try the foundation ( also show her the container) she looks it and said that's ok. They don't have the No.1 de foundation yet; So, I started look it the other line LES BEIGE CHANEL colors I wanna try~ first I try on my hand few colors and then decide to put some in the container. After a while the Mexican lady.. (I am not sure?) came to grab my tissue and touch the tester container ask: it's that yours? I said yes while I still try on the other color. She said that's enough, you don't put on that much to try, no one do like you, they only put one drop on conditioner~ I said: earlier I didn't saw the B30 so I wanna try on hand. She said: I don't care, I never saw the people like you. I: maybe I don't take this one tester, I leave here. She said: I don't wanna it, you already touched it, is dirty. From now on, I already feels very uncomfortable, I mean I know has raised this kind thing~ but, CHANEL? Even in Beverly hill store on Rodeo Dr won't talk like this! Does one drop can be finished on all faces? Specially the tester bottles is with the pumping tiny head. Honestly I am only put half in the mini container. I am not that greedy! Then she started throw away my tissue and wipe cleaning w cleanser the table ( I haven't finished yet ) and also told me they are playing... she move to another mirror table, also keep cleaning wipe my kids sitting table which is where they sit. Very clear is kit us out the CHANEL booth showing not welcome us by her actions. And also keep no stop complaining... front of me. then we just left with shock & unpleasant experience. While I am standing in around Diors booth thinking which brand I should try, this lady come out and stare on us in that far distance? I feels mentally ill something? Then after I went try Estée Lauder (6:30 maybe) I hear they has one foundation is very good too (Re-Nutriv line) The dye hair yellow brown colors sales is very willing and helping, after I try on two colors from her suggestions, I asked for simple tester container; she do it for me with no piss. I am appreciate! I mean this line foundation is one time double price than CHANEL, but she give same volume as I put on in my container in CHANEL. Honestly I been used CHANEL when I was very young~ for now just a treat in Chinese New Year, like a loyalty. All the brand has good products is so competitive here.. customer can buy online too you know? how come this lady is kit the customer out of booth? Ok~ Like she said.. I don't care, I don't care who you are, who's no dress the CHANEL uniform and came help me; Thanks but no thanks. At end, your service is very bad! I never see this kind sales people like you! Even you work in Norstram, you shame the Norstram quality. Good luck with your business. Here is the picture I took when I got home, right side is Estée Lauder tester from sales. Some simple is come out on the lid because is more watery texture than LES BEIGE CHANEL.

Was on vacation and my daughter and I wanted to get our brows done. So my daughter booked us an appointment at the Anastasia counter where they do brows. The department store was getting a new make over so it was under construction. My daughter and I go to the Anastasia counter and was greeted by a lovely lady named Sofia. Who worked at the Anastasia counter. My daughter and I were very pleased by the service and professionalism of Sofia M. If you ever are in the area go see Sofia M. at the Anastasia counter she does amazing work with the eye brow service she did for us. Below is a picture of my eye brows. This was taken on the 2nd day. Thank you again Sofia M. for your great customer service and the amazing job you did. I will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

They have a large selection of luxury items, Louis Vuitton shoes, high end makeup, bags, and clothing. You can park and walk right in. They are redoing the perfume area it seems. The workers are engaging and happy to assist you with a purchase. I recommend signing up for their credit card to get points and rewards on purchases. Clean, organized, bright, and easy to see and find whatever you may be looking for! Pricier items here fersure.

While I was shopping in the shoe section, I overheard a staff member speaking rudely with some elderly customers having a hard time communicating their needs. Although the staff helping me out was nice, seeing the way that staff member spoke to them was unacceptable. The customer's first language obviously wasn't english and tried asking for a new pair of shoes in the back instead of the one on display. Instead of explaining nicely that it was still a new pair, she spoke to them in a very condescending way and it was hard to see her talk down on them because of the language barrier.

Lunch time, 12:45. This is for the Nordstrom Cafe, which has always been decent. Today was just terrible. First the lady had to ring in my order 3x but she was nice. Went to the restrooms, first was a converted men's room that looked and smelled like a gas station. Other toilet smelled better but the place was dirty and had lots of trash. Service was nonexistent. I ordered a salad and iced tea, which was on my table when I got back from the restroom. No one ever greeted me and I had to find someome to bring me sweetener. The salad was good till I hit moldy lettuce. I ran out of dressing and had to find someone to bring more, which he did promptly. The salad should've been on a plate since I had to put it in my bowl but I can let that pass. Iced tea was $4.75 and do you think I was ever offered a refill? I would ask someone but I haven't seen a server in at least 15 min and am surrounded by dirty tables. On the plus side, when I DID call someone over, they were courteous and prompt. The restaurant was half empty, and I saw 3 different servers. Bottom line: this place is less than a diner. I NEVER expect Nordstrom to be like this. What a disappointment.

This mall needs to improve. It's very inconvenient that after spending thousands of dollars, they still charge for gift wrapping. This is why I always go to Fashion Island in Newport Beach or South Coast Plaza, where the customer service is always exceptional

Men's department is the least helpful (the men). I came in the have the tag taken off from my boyfriend's shirt because the person that was assisting him yesterday, Forgot to take the sensor off my boyfriend ended up purchasing in men's shoes due to the lack of help in the men's suits department. The men will stare at you and not even offer to help unless they think they're making commission off of you. Thankfully today a nice young lady assisted me. I didn't get her name, but she wore glasses and had long hair. it was already an inconvenience having to drive all the way back to get the sensor taken off and she was very helpful if I could give this location zero stars, I would but she's the reason for the one star!

I used to like the customer service here but I noticed in the last couple of months it's been getting worse. Usually they let you go to any register to return your items. Lately I've been told to go to the department it's in. Even when I go upstairs to the women's clothing section, I'm told to go to a different register because either that one is closed or they'll be a while and the another one should be open. I don't think the cashiers want to deal with returns at all. Your best bet is to go to the order pick up section (used to be labeled customer service) upstairs and return all at once.

December 2023 - The journey started with an online purchase of a ring from Nordstrom Rack. We were told fine jewelry can only be returned at a Nordstrom. Note this was not mentioned in the return receipt at all. We then traveled to the nearest Nordstrom (20+ minutes away). After speaking with two employees, we were guided to the jewelry section where we were met with a judgmental employee who helped us process the return. We saw them giving us a skeptical look up and down as if they were deciding whether the ring was real. I understand verifying legitimacy, however, there are more tactful ways to do so without making customers feel isolated and uncomfortable. They proceeded to explain to us what an opal was (mind you we didn't ask) and told us is it was supposed to look like that. Again, we didn't ask. Received an email with a survey asking me of my return experience. After filling it out, I received the most generic response of how they are "able to follow up with our employee and provide additional training". Thanks for the generic response. Will not be purchasing overpriced jewelry from you again.

The staff at this Nordstrom is all friendly and welcoming Simon is the show department is awesome definitely showed me all loafers possible I walked out with Loubs.. I then asked for Valentino heels which were out of stock and right away he took my info and sent me the link for purchase ... Valencia in the make up department is the sweetest she showed me different brands and wasn't pushy with making m purchase anything I didn't like.. she brought out plenty of samples from different brands. Wonderful experience every time I come here.

I came here to look for a new suit, simple and in vogue or fashionable but affordable. Nothing here to my liking. I saw one with my size, Navy blue, but the problem was, it was "Ted Baker" and costed $800+ and I'll probably only wear it on a special occasion. NO! So I went to the shirts and for a simple dress shirt was $167+. What's with the expensive stuff, does it come with Bluetooth and Wifi??WiFi??? No wonder Department stores are losing customers coz of the pricey sales. I just needed to update my wardrobe coz most of my clothes don't fit me past this pandemic. It's Yelps fault for my gaining weight, lol! So I skipped all that and bought myself a "mocha banana" Anyway, if you miss your hometown, go to the shoe department. They're all there fitting!

Had lunch there the other day, but before I sat down to wait for my food, I went to the restroom, did my thing and saw that there was no soap in the restroom, I then went out to ask one of the young men bussboy and informed him that there is no soap for me to wash my hands and I will wait while he gets some, he then tells me that he will inform maintenance as that is not his job to put soap in the restroom, I asked how long that will take, he replied that he did not know, it depends!!!! huh? what? I told him, well I am about to eat, what am I supposed to do? and he just shrugged his shoulders and said he will let maintenance know.....I then decided to ask for the manager, a very nice lady and she went ahead and handed me a bottle of soap to use until they replenish the soap dispenser.........my point here is, really?????? I had to wait not knowing how long it will take for the soap to arrive whilst my food was getting cold and if I did not ask for the manager who knows, this is a restaurant and the boy should have acted right away, instead he went on doing what he was doing, instead of helping me right away...........................x

Nordstrom's is not one of my favorite stores but if you are a fashion addict like myself... you have to go.. especially to see which brands are being promoted over others. Every now and then I will find something of great value and I can work it into my every day wardrobe like discovering this great shacket by the brand Thread & Supply. Thread & Supply has been a rather unknown brand to me until I discovered this shacket. When I got home I looked up Thread & Supply and found out what I had been missing. They have ALL KINDS of shackets in some really cool color combos and plaid patterns that for me it was like living my continuing fantasy of being on the set of Yellowstone Of course.. the handbags took my attention right away and I had to examine every single one on the display floor. The ladies who worked there were all probably wondering why I was taking pictures of the bags ? Well... you never know... I may buy one of these bags .. and soon

My friend highly recommended the NuFace Advanced Facial Toning Device and purposely just went to Nordstrom's cosmetics department to purchase the device. The device costs $395. The device is in a box and it includes an aqua gel and a 5oz silk moisturizer. As soon as I got home, I was very excited and was about to open the box. But before I opened the box, I checked the bottom of the box and noticed the silk moisturizer had already expired on 3/9/2024. Today is 4/1/2025. I am just shocked that Nordstrom would sell things that had already expired. I just mainly went there to purchase this one item. Very very shocked and disappointed even though the sales lady was very nice. I wish I had checked the bottom of the box before the purchase.

I visited Nordstrom with a personal stylist, not knowing that these services existed for free :o Beth had a large selection of pieces picked out for me when I had visited, and my only regret was not knowing the price point or my own sizing too well. Throughout the session, Beth and a gentleman worked with me to build a new style, and I was planning to walk away with a new suit, though I couldn't because of time constraints (my size wasn't readily available). The most outstanding part of their service was how well they could navigate awkward situations that may otherwise result in a negative experience. Extra COVID weight? Clothes not fitting? Too long? Too short? Those aren't the best vocabulary to use, and they didn't use any of that language. The language that they used was extremely respectful and classy; I wish I remembered some of them! 10/10, will be returning for my future fashion needs.

I walked into the beauty department looking for foundations with my daughter. I was at the Estee Lauder booth for 10 minutes while all of the representatives were talking amongst themselves. Looking at us and not offering to help. Nasty looks and all because I wasnt wearing any makeup or I didnt look like I was there to shop on a Saturday night. The supervisor walks in and they all start scattering and being nice. I walked out. I have never experienced this at Nordstrom before. Disappointed.

I sent the specific details in an email to 'Nordstrom customer service' and no response. Unfortunately, I felt it's necessary to let other customers know to be aware of the lack of service and possible unprofessional behavior they may receive.

Friendly service, easy returns and order pickup. Love ordering online and doing free gift wrapping and then being able to pick it up and go! Have done this several times for birthdays. They have a nice beauty and designer bag selection. I always need to take a look. I always recycle my makeup and skin care empties here too! Love that they have it but I feel like not many people know of that service!

While this location has become something of a default because of the recent closures of the stores in Riverside and Montclair I've always enjoyed shopping here. The parking lot is never really chaotic or overly crowded, and there's a great selection of shops close by in the mall. The men's department retracted slightly during this Covid-19 period but I expect to see more stock in the future. The shoe selection for men and women is extensive and great to browse and buy gifts at. We've found the employees to be friendly and helpful over the years, and I like the layout here. No café but that's alright.

It is 12 days till Christmas and not one area in Nordstrom selling Christmas decorations or kitchen things like at the Topanga mall...I think this store has lost its way...too high prices like 300 dollar lounge sets and no affordable Pajamas around 80 dollars. I think a bowl of soup is 12 dollars and a soda or ice tea at the Cafe is under 5 dollars...Even can of soda at the coffee bar is 3.50...It used to be much less expensive in 2019...I must have bought an entire wardrobe here in the last 15 years...That us okay.. the rich young people are their focus now...good luck with that...
