We went to Cherry Creek to buy Christmas gifts for our loved ones. We first stopped by the Jo Malone store at the second floor because it’s my friend’s favorite, and we bought her a candle. The manager who helped us there was nice. But while walking around, we passed by Nordstrom and saw the Jo Malone counter — and that’s where we met Gigi. Even though she noticed we were already holding a Jo Malone bag and told her we had already purchased upstairs, she still welcomed us warmly. She was incredibly kind, accommodating, and enthusiastic. Gigi went above and beyond! She showed us more products, shared amazing scent-layering techniques, and genuinely made the experience fun and personal. She is exactly the kind of sales associate we need more of, especially during this busy season. Her service was exceptional! We’ll definitely be coming back next week to get more scents — even though we already have enough — because she truly deserves the sale. Nordstrom, please give her a raise! Highly recommend stopping by and asking for Gigi!

Jamie in the men’s shoe department was attentive and kind. The gentleman in the men’s clothing department I didn’t catch his name was also polite and genuinely helpful. It seems Nordstrom has an amazing team in the men’s department. They are professional, knowledgeable about sizing, and very helpful in finding exactly what you’re looking for. This is my third time shopping here since moving to Denver, and I continue to love the customer service.

As a former Nordstrom employee my impression of any Nordstrom is viewed through that lens. And I must say the Cherry 🍒 Creek Nordstrom location is my favorite I’ve ever been to! The vibes are right. The sales are lit 🔥! The people are kind, smiling, and smart. I love coming here every time I come to the mall. There’s always something new and interesting. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Plus, the Sephora’s I’ve been to even the one in the Cherry Creek Mall where this Nordstrom is does not carry the NARS lipstick that I’m obsessed with…NARS “Don’t Stop” … Everyone always asks me what the brand and color is. Because it’s the only lipstick 💄 since 2022. So Sephora doesn’t carry this shade anymore. So I have to come to this Nordstrom and Cherry Creek Mall to find it in person. I’ve bought lots of make up here and even returned it easily. Nordstrom is very good about returns. The quality throughout the whole store and the make up is wonderful. Ulysses is the beautify ambassador La Mer and where’s divine Prada Eyewear and is very helpful. Mame is one of the staff members for Dior and she is AMAZING, gives excellent customer service and is beautiful inside and out. Alfred is the Store General Manager and he runs a good ship and keeps the culture of the place feeling like it’s a Cheers bar where everyone is welcome.

Today I had a very pleasant shopping experience at men’s department - Brad was extremely helpful, with showing me different options and helping me to pick appropriate sizing and styles that go well together. I ended up buying 2 men’s dress shirts, pants and men’s coat - and Brad made it so much easier. It was extremely busy at the store - but he managed to help multiple customers at the same time, while being very pleasant and polite. I will always look for Brad in the future, for help in men’s department.

8/14/25: AVOID this location at all costs. Had a terrible experience at this Nordstrom store. It’s kinda crazy bc I used to work at this exact store two years ago. Be aware of the girl who has curly hair who works Jeans with Beth. I came in looking for a Black Tie dress for my friends wedding next month. I find some options to try on. The store was understaffed I had to drag my dresses to the Jeans section to get a fitting room. I finally get a fitting room and tried on around 6-7 dresses. I find one I really love but wanted to see if there’s anything else. I left a dress on the door to let the sales associate know I’m coming back and to not clear my room. This protocol was always followed when someone was leaving. I come back 10-15 later and saw that my dress on the door was taken away and I asked the sales associate to let me back in thinking that all of my stuff would be in there. I walk in and everything is gone and she already started talking it back to the other department. I was extremely frustrated as the dress I wanted was the last size in stock and she already put it back. She goes and finds all my stuff and I tell her I need to run to the bathroom and to leave the fitting room open and leave the stuff in there. She told me she can’t let me leave my stuff in there or the door open while I use the bathroom. The only option was to put my stuff on hold. I do that and then come back ten minutes later and no one is on the floor. I had no choice but to steal the dress I wanted off the rack. I get a new fitting room by the actual dress section and no one came and cleared my stuff out. I ended up getting checked out by a sweet girl named Hannah in the dress and the girl in the jeans lost that sale. I spent quite a bit of money around $400 and almost walked out without anything. I’m not sure what that girls problem was in jeans or if she thought I was gonna steal something just bc I had no makeup on and a Amazon romper but goes to show never to judge a book by it’s cover. She had no idea I used to work with Beth in women’s clothing two years ago. After this experience I don’t think I want to purchase or shop for anything at this location again. The sales associates are rude and judgmental. The Park Meadows location is so much better. If I do have to purchase anything I’ll be there instead of this location

Have never felt more discriminated about how I look till today, was shopping with a friend and as we only spoke spanish most of the employees were staring and by the end of me purchasing an item a girl came up to me saying the item I had was purchased. She tried taking it away but saw the tag and noticed wrong item. Never felt so disappointed and will not be coming ever again.

Google
WORST EXPERIENCE I was trying to pay with my international card and it got declined but they STILL CHARGED ME 300USD, then I tried buying with a Chase card and it wouldn't go through, they had me buy a gift card and place the order through them as they didn't have the product in store. They made a mistake with the order which caused a delay I wasn't notified of, then there was another delay on top of that and I wasn't notified this time again, the product didn't arrive in time and all they said was that the delivery was outsourced so they couldn't do anything, the money is going back to a giftcard I can't use as I'm traveling out of the US, now i'm leaving the country with -600$, WORST PLACE EVER, Saks has MUCH BETTER customer service and better shipping times, won't be buying here again, I'm switching to Saks and Neiman

Google
Greg in tailoring is the reason I’ll keep driving 170+ miles to shop at Nordstrom. A couple of years ago he rushed a hem for me before an event, and today he once again went above and beyond, talking me through fits, involving me in the details, and even rushing my pants so I’d have them ready when I needed. His eye for detail is impeccable, and he always looks sharp himself. A true professional. Sandra in Sportswear was also amazing. She helped with returns, styling, and worked seamlessly with Greg to round out some versatile looks. Together they made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. As a former Nordstrom employee, it’s great to see the tradition of excellent customer service alive and well. Great clothes, great people, and service that makes the trip more than worth it.

Yelp
We always come to this Nordstrom for some reason for my make-up. I have used MAC forever (but I don't wear make up daily), and I needed makeup remover and a completely different type of cover up for my age. The gentleman at their counter was (as they always are) so kind. He got my remover. Then he suggested I try a completely different brand of coverage for what I was looking for. He took me over to their counter. They were so helpful. I loved the Bobbi Brown Tint. Left Nordstrom happier than I have ever been. BTW- it is also the best place for kids shoes!! Hands down.

Yelp
Mom Bought the La prairie gold cream and used it 3 days burnt her face. No apologies and was told not to shop there using Nordstrom card because they won't give her the Nordstrom notes incentive. They did not apologized when it was brought back to the store in Denver. I would like to seek $10000 restitution for the pain, damages to my skin and illness. She is 80yo woman. Yelp
!IF YOU ARE BLACK DO NOT BUY HERE! My sister is in town for work training. On 7/8 we took the opportunity to hang out and do some retail therapy. We proceeded to go into Nordstrom to browse the items in the store. My sister decided to take a look at some perfumes and test them out. At this point, we have been in the store for less than five minutes. I turned around and noticed that there was a man speaking into a walkie-talkie in an all black outfit with a black baseball cap on. From his placement and social cues, I could tell that he was speaking through his device (potentially to staff) about me and my sister. This man then proceeded to go up the escalator while still watching us like a hawk and speaking on his walkie-talkie. I knew right away we were being racially profiled by the all-white staff. This was especially alarming for me because I work in politics in the state of Colorado. Every day I am constantly dealing with racism and injustices against me and others. I would like to be able to go shopping without being perceived as a threat or thief. Time and time again I see this behavior happen all over Cherry Creek to Black shoppers. I plan to go to Nordstrom today and speak with their security team as well as store manager to seek some more clarity on this incident. I would implore every Black person who is trying to spend money at the Cherry Creek Mall to NOT give Nordstrom your hard earned money.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite Nordstrom as it's big and versatile. The first floor is shoes, make up, fragrance, accessories and men's clothing. Second floor is women and I like that they have their high end fashion in a specific area. The only reason I gave this a 4 star is because of how big it is, I rarely get assistance and struggle to find someone to help me check out. If you are looking for a last minute I recommend stopping here before checking out the other stores at the mall. Prices range but you can usually find something that is affordable. As this is located in the mall, I like that I can look for parking up front and not have to pay for parking (it is only an hour parking spot but if you have something in mind you can make the best out of that hour).

Yelp
Feel like this place has gone downhill. Went to the bathroom and it was disgusting and had 0 toilet paper. Rude customer service at order pickup and crazy prices on alterations. No one was clear on how alteration appts even work. Then was quoted $200 when I was told that alterations would be covered. When they tried to find the alterations gal to ask about the pricing she had "just gone to lunch" and they offered no assistance. Took my stuff and left

Yelp
A large department store and anchor store in the Cherry Creek Shopping Center. Nordstrom spans two floors, and they have their own escalators and elevators. They also have their own restaurant nearby, Bazille. There are three entrances/exits, including one on 1st Ave.

Yelp
Cologne Freak I have to get my cologne fix on a regular basis. Nordstrom is a staple for me. Last trip, I picked up a mega bottle of Hermes. I wish they had Aventus, too. They would be a lot cooler if they did. [Matthew McConaughey]

Yelp
Cute in the mall lots of outside parking that you must pay for or garage parking...connected to cherry creek mall, which is beautiful clean and well maintained. You feel safe in the mall & at Nordstrom's because it's an enjoyable experience! Yearly sale days are my favorite!

Yelp
After waiting patiently at one of the cosmetic counters for 10 minutes with no one offering to help or acknowledging my presence, I walked over to Charlotte Tilbury's and was enthusiastically greeted by Jordyn. Jordyn was fantastic and helped walk me through the steps of applying makeup. Jordyn is very knowledgeable and patient, and I am impressed with their skills, experience, and knowledge. I didn't feel pressured to purchase the products. Thank you, Jordyn, for your hard work! Keep up the excellent work!

Yelp
I bought 6 shirts from the men's department. After 2 washes including vinegar, and soaking them in baking soda for 4 hour , I can't get the smell of the cologne out that they sprayed on the shirts.why???

Yelp
FYI their return policy is not as great as they make it out to be. I always felt good shopping at Nordstrom because they claim to want to make their customers happy no matter what. I have NEVER returned a used item in my life, but after receiving terrible advice in the Cherry Creek shoe department to size up in Gucci loafers, I decided to take them back. Turns out "designer" items are not accepted for return. The salespeople treated me like I was trying to scam them. I have a Nordstrom card but I haven't used it since this incident and will probably never use it again. Since the salespeople work on commission, they have an incentive to convince you to buy things, even if they're the wrong size. "Oh you definitely want to size up in these because they run small, and we just happen to have that size in stock but not the smaller size!" I really wish I had just ordered a couple of pairs in different sizes from Gucci.com instead of trying to support my local department store.

Yelp
I love Nordstrom's because they always have great service and great products. In fact, I always imagine angels singing when I enter the store! I visited this Nordstrom when I was on vacation in Denver, right when that polar vortex hit. Cluelessly, I did not know it was the polar vortex, I just thought that was normal Denver winter weather, so I was desperate to find some really warm winter boots. Well, that and I really love the excuse to shop. I found a pair of Merrells on the sale rack that was actually my size! I was so happy I put them right on after I bought them and walked around the mall in them. Unfortunately it turned out that that model runs a little small and they were actually rather uncomfortable. I was worried that they might not let me return them because I had not taken the box when I bought them. Luckily everyone was super nice and helpful about it. Thank you!

Yelp
I've been to this Nordstrom on 4 separate occasions and this particular store lacks the phenomenal customer service Nordstrom is known for. I gave them two stars because they have an excellent stock. First, I've tried to call departments to do a stock check and place an order over the phone for pick up, knowing the sales team is commission based, but no one ever picks up the phone. This has happened in shoes, POV and TBD. Second, my fiancé and I were shipping at the men's care counter for some new cologne and Jack black skincare. Not a single person approached us for the 30 mins we were there. Third, I purchased a $150 pair of jeans online with my Nordies CC. Unfortunately, 3 months later my puppy got ahold of the jeans and tore the zipper portion of the fabric. I hadn't yet worn them and they had the tag attached. I also had my order number and again, purchased them on my Nordstrom card. I called ahead to customer service to double check whether they could be returned, which they said I could because I still had the tag attached. When I went to the order pick up/customer service counter yesterday to return them, they called the Manager in Charge for approval. No problem with that. However, the manager tried to pressure me to put the return on a store gift card. I asked that it be returned to my Nordies CC since I had multiple proofs of purchase including the attached tags. I also explained my call with customer service the day prior. The Manager said that returns are handled on a case my case basis and that I should always bring the item in to confirm whether something can be returned. She also said that customer service doesn't always have the correct information with respect to returns. How is that my problem exactly? If that's the case, customer service should have told me to bring the item in to see if it can be returned, not that all I needed was the attached tags. Ultimately the item was returned to my Nordstrom CC, but not without a hassle. I don't make it a point to return damaged items ever but this interaction made me think shopping at an expensive department store like Nordstrom is not worth it anymore.

Yelp
Bonus star because it does still carry some designer merchandise. Every time I walk into a Nordstrom I want to eat a bullet. Waaaaaay too much of their junky house brand. I'm not shopping for Nordstrom brand plastic sweaters for $70. Half the store is garbage like this made out of cheap materials (polyester... which is plastic). Stay AWAY from Treasure and Bond, clothing is NASTY and falls apart. I have sweaters from target that lasted twice as long for a fourth of the price. The brand is hurting big time. Walk over to Neimann and save yourself the frustration because they still carry quality brands. Hell, even the dying macys has more national brands. Edit: husband and I bought a tuxedo that needed alterations. Picked it up. Woman said "the tailor will be with you shortly!" Tailor was not called. Someone else came in after us and their sales associate got them a tailor straight away. Been waiting now for 25 minutes. Every time I interact with this store is just an exercise in how to not treat customers.

Yelp
I've never had any issues here. The staff is helpful but not pushy, so you can kind of browse in peace if you want or you can be guided if you want. Inventory cycles regularly so there's always a new selection of quality items. Oh and btw, the following are NOT justified reasons to leave a poor review: 1. You bought a bag there years ago and the strap snapped and you expect them to replace it or repair it. Guess what? It's called wear and tear, no matter how expensive anything is. It isn't Nordstrom's problem. Go buy a new bag or repair the one you have. 2. You "bought something expensive" and mysteriously "lost it" and any proof of purchase, yet are disappointed they don't just give you a "replacement." Your losing something is your fault, not Nordstroms. Besides, sounds like a scam to get free stuff--mad they didn't fall for it? 3. EVERYTHING is great except they couldn't find you by your phone number or email at the register. Guess what? Computer glitches don't care how much money you've spent, they still happen. Besides, you don't need to be looked up to make a purchase--you could just buy what you want and leave. 4. The staff didn't treat you like you're a VIP. As long as they were polite and reasonably helpful when asked, they did their job. It's a department store, not Buckingham Palace, and you're not the Queen. Did you go there to buy something or to get attention? The world isn't perfect. Not everything goes 100% the way you imagine it should. I'm sick of all these entitled people whining like children yet demanding to be taken seriously. Approach the issue the right way, and with some logic--you might find that you are less disappointed and maybe will get what you're asking for. If you really won't go back over something trivial, then by all means take your business wherever you think you will call all the shots--I guarantee you Nordstrom won't notice you stopped spending money there and they might even be glad your headache is Neiman Marcus' problem now. *off soap box*

Yelp
Is it just me or do Nordstrom employees not work on commission anymore? I remember when you'd walk into Nordstrom and the employees would be eager (sometimes overly so) to help you find just what you're looking for. Not the case anymore. Most recently I went in the store on the hunt for leather leggings. Online they had literally 90 some options and in the store had about 5. I was only able to find two pairs I'd seen online on my own and when I asked 3 different employees at separate times for help locating the other pairs I was eyeing online, they were very unhelpful. Just generic answers and literally just pointing in the direction they think there might be a pair of leather leggings. Not the customer service I (and I think most people) expect at Nordstrom.

Yelp
Went in again tonight, same crappy service. Not a salesperson in sight. Don't they always brag about how you can come in and get a bra fitted? How can that happen when there's no one in the department?

Yelp
Nordstrom Chanel counter: I went yesterday as I had issues flying into Denver with my luggage. The lady behind the counter went over and above the call of duty! They didn't have what I was going to buy but when I explained just a little of my story she said let me help you! She gave me samples for all the products that would see me through until my luggage was with me again! Even mascara, lipstick and perfume on top of the other products! I was almost in tears at how kind she was! Erica Cisneros is her name! She certainly made me feel special and helped me so much in a difficult situation!

Yelp
Hoity toity and service with a side of attitude :-/ I like their products and promotions. However, I've been told by sales associates several times that they can't help me or they're too busy. Or they try to pass you off like an unwanted customer to someone else :-/ Last time this happened 5x and I eventually found a different department where someone would help me. I have the Nordstrom CC and have shopped there for 15+ years. Apparently it's time to take my business and money elsewhere!

Yelp
Gotta give a special shoutout to two lovely ladies for making my experience at Nordstrom today so fantastic. Brittany Pace, the Counter Manager at La Mer, was so incredibly helpful and informative. Then, someone helped me in the perfume section, I think her name was Heather Hix? Almost certain the last name was Hix. She was also incredible. Both of them were patient and kind, took their time with me, and made my shopping experience a great one!

Robin B.

Yelp
Do you love shopping?? I do and Nordstrom never disappoints. They always have helpful workers that tell me the clothes look good on me. I'm not sure if they really select items that flatter my body or if they are told to say everything looks nice- either way I always end up spending money and feeling good.

Allen H.

Yelp
Absolutely horrible experience. There was no one available to checkout in handbags. Some lady that was in the jewelry were very friendly and apologized, but I do not make it a habit of seeking out employees to checkout. Decided to just go to Coach and got my wife her anniversary present. Won't be back, not like I'd get any help.

Yelp
I just moved here from California and I used to shop at South Coast Plaza, and many other stores that have the best customer service I've been here two days and the first thing I wanna do is go to Nordstrom so I called .... And on the phone with a man who didn't even speak English.???? Why would they have somebody who doesn't speak English answering their phones? My question to him was, do you sell Spanx clothing or do you only sell Spanx intimate apparel? His answer was OK yes ???????? Wth kind of answer is that? So I said to him OK let's try this again do you sell Spanx clothing? OK tell me what you want he says. Now I'm laughing so hard and furious at the fact that Nordstrom would have somebody answering their phones like this So I said, can you please connect me to women's apparel department He then proceeded to ask me what department do you want? So to say the least, I will not be coming to this Nordstrom in Cherry Creek. If I cannot even call before I come all the way over there. I can't even get to the next step. I have to be stuck on the phone with somebody who does not speak one lick of English. 0 stars!!!

David B.

Yelp
I bought a pair of men's dress slacks that needed to be altered. The sales lady was great to work with and love the slacks. However, the store fitting rooms are a disgrace and disgusting. The carpet needs to be replaced or at the very least cleaned/vacuumed, light fixtures are broken, furniture is a failure, needles on the floor. Nordstrom spend some money and today your fitting rooms please!!!!

Yelp
Brittany at the La Mer counter is my go-to girl. She is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and regularly assists me in departments outside her own. Her customer service is A+... I would recommend her to anyone looking to revamp their skin & makeup routine!

Yelp
I've shopped at Nordstrom for 10+ years. It used to be my favorite and "go-to" store for everything. I used to live near the Pentagon Mall and Tysons Corner locations and never had any issues. However, at the cherry creek location I can never find a sales associate to help me! I've literally wandered from department to department looking for someone to open a dressing room and finally gotten so fed up that I just left the store. It's a common occurrence for me to stop in there and literally have to SEARCH for an employee (at least on the second floor womens clothing areas). It's so weird! Cherry Creek - hire more people, please!!!

Yelp
Mens selection is horrendous. My partner likes to buy shoes here. I would buy here to if they had anything Good for guys. Also the restaurant sucks.

Yelp
Rhiannon in the Tom Ford department is spectacular!!! Always willing to help. Her recommendations are on point 98% of the time. But best of all she laughs and that's nice in a store where everyone is so darn serious. I have been shopping exclusively with her for over 3 years now and I will continue to as well.

Yelp
I have bought literally over $10,000 worth of clothing through Nordstrom's, most at Cherry Creek Store. Stopped by Saturday and bought a Ted Baker shirt. The guy who helped me was great but when he went to look me up in the computer, nothing. Tried by phone # and email, nothing. I have had tons of Nordstrom stuff shipped to me and receipts emailed all the time. I said "how about looking me up by name?" Nope, our system doesn't allow this. Obscenely stupid in this day and age. It is no wonder department stores are folding everywhere, completely incompetent corporate IT and channel strategies. Hint Nordstrom's: walk down the mall hall to the Apple Store and see successful retailing. I'll still shop at Nordstrom's but check out is painfully antique. Oh, and the name "Nordy Points"? Just fire whomever came up with that 1970's era moniker.

Yelp
I received excellent service when I went into Nordstrom's to purchase a pair of boots I had been researching online. The store was extremely busy, but that didn't prevent the staff from supporting customers and keeping a cheery disposition. I also appreciated that I came in while wearing sports clothes after a bike ride and was still treated well. That's not always my experience; I don't want to dress up to go to the mall! :) Thanks Nordstrom's!

Yelp
I received OUTSTANDING customer service from Anna, who is the Chanel make-up representative at the Cherry Creek Mall Nordstrom store in Denver. What a gem she was. I had to return a lipstick which I had bought recently. The lipstick had deteriorated, and I was unable to use it. She was just wonderful about it, and I was able to get a new lipstick. When I get outstanding service, I tell them. I asked for her boss and relayed my experience to him. What was so delightful about this situation was another customer was nearby and overheard my conversation. She immediately chimed in and told him the same thing about Anna. This woman has been a customer for years in the Chanel department and always works with Anna exclusively because of the exceptional service that she receives from her. I concur. Keep up the great customer service, Anna!!!

Mallory G.

Yelp
Today I had the absolute worst customer service I have ever had. Nordstrom is suppose you be known for its customer service. But the MIC Makenna was rude and could care less about a customer. The workers all sat around the return and exchange section clueless and talked about my situation as of I wasn't there. I felt uncomfortable, embarrassed, and most definitely unwelcome. I left the store realizing why I never go to this location. Walking away feeling ignored and a joke is a terrible feeling. I hope you do not make all clients feel this way. A Condescending manager can really destroy a clients experience.

Yelp
DO NOT GO HERE!! They have had MULTIPLE cases (3 confirmed) or staff testing positive for COVID-19 and giving it to other employees! Who knows how many customers have been infected! They aren't requiring employees to wear masks off the floor and aren't requiring customers too either they are not doing any deep cleans or sanitation between customers or when the store is closed complete disregard for the health and safety of customers and employees who aren't even getting hazard pay. A disgrace!!! Unsafe to shop here!!!

Yelp
Benny was great helping me pick out sweaters and shirts to go with the pair of pants I picked out. A maroon jean, perfect for fall. I paired it with a navy ted baker sweater he pulled off the rack.

Yelp
Customer and employee safety not adhered to. Otherwise, this was my life. Wake up to the voices.

Yelp
Robin in the women's department is fantastic. Helped find me all the right business wear I was looking for and promptly got alterations involved to help on the items that needed minor tweaking. She gave 100% effort in all that she did.

Yelp
Love great clothes? Hate awful service? Here is your guide.. Usually when I visit this Nordstrom... it starts with a... Disaster. Regardless of the day of the week it takes 10+ min to hunt down a willing sales person in Men's Clothing. Why does pickup take forever? So.... if you are looking to purchase great clothes at a respectable price... here is the map.. Men's shoes- On Point Men's clothing- Awful Tailor Services- On Point Pickup- Awful Other Departments- unknown So.. do I love the clothes I get and love the ease of the overall experience? Yes! Do I love the time they take with you when you find the sales person? Yes! Do I love the quality of the clothes? Yes! Also! The Nordstrom Rewards Program is pretty great. So... Will we be back? Absolutely! Hope that helps! More reviews coming soon Follow me I'm passionate about exceptional customer service

Yelp
I was disappointed by the customer service and the staff, as they didn't accept my refund request even though the product (Shoes)was never worn before.

Yelp
I have always had a phenomenal customer service experience at Nordstrom's across the US, but this location is heavily lacking at that. I was looking for a steel gua-sha throughout the mall and a lovely Sephora employee had pointed me to Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom for another option as they had none in stock. After walking through the cosmetics department at about 5pm, I was asked by an older woman with blonde hair at the Clarins counter and a younger man with long dark hair and large hoop earrings if I needed help finding anything. After explaining what I was looking for they both got wide eyed like they were surprised a younger man knew what he was talking about. She immediately pointed me to a Clarins version of what I was looking for and started firstly with the price being $60, again in an extremely condescending tone like she thought I couldn't afford it. After letting her do her elevator pitch of the product, I realized she had absolutely no idea what she was talking about and continued with the smart, rude tone towards me. I was dressed in business casual clothing and holding multiple shopping bags from other stores, so I have no idea why she was acting in such a way towards me. I'm aware that they are commission based but I cannot comprehend how someone of this lady's nature would be able to survive in such a role. I will take my business to Neiman Marcus, Sephora, or Blue Mercury from now on as I refuse to be treated in this manner by such a "high end" store. Your customer service needs to match your prices! I would expect this from Walmart not Nordstrom!

Yelp
Nordstrom is where it's at! Let me tell you, after wandering around the mall looking for a few specific items, we finally decided to check out Nordstrom and hit the jackpot! We had a great experience at the jewelry counter. The lady helping us was very friendly and attentive. She gave recommendations from different brands and for that I was so grateful because the selection is severely limited when you are just looking in one case (and when you're as picky as I am about dainty jewelry ONLY). At other jewelry stores we felt pressured to look at one specific collection and didn't feel free to look around (probably because they didn't want to lose the sale/have us leave the store). Will return here in the future to do more shopping because they have a great selection of clothes and shoes as well.

Yelp
I despise shopping, and even more, I loathe going to the mall. But parking garages are really fun on a motorcycle, and you always get rock star parking so I figured what the hell....I'll visit Jessica at Nordstrom and say hi. I got there early and perused the shoes while Jessica was on her way. There was a pair of deep red pumps that were adorable and ON SALE! Then I found a pair of ugly Merrill trail running shoes that I wanted to try out for all my dog walking. Then there was this pair of.... well you get the point. Jessica arrived and I pointed at the two pair of shoes I decided to try on. She came out with them, plus some others that were similar in style. I ended up buying the trail shoes she recommended instead of the ones I picked out originally - she has great taste and a really good idea of what is comfortable, etc. Go to Nordstrom and ask for Jessica!

Yelp
I stop by Nordstrom for the two s's: shoes and skincare. While I always stop to drool over the high end shoe offerings, their "normal" priced stuff can be a bit hit or miss. Maybe my taste in shoes runs a bit conservative though? Not like loafer or support shoes conservative, just not trippy-bright-pink-leopard-print Danskos if you know what I mean. The funny thing about Clinique is they are also in Macy's, but I tend to head to Nordstrom out of sheer convenience. I've noticed over the years their counter service has improved. Back in the day, you could walk up to the counter and stand there for ages (even after hunting around all the cosmetics counters) before someone would appear to help you. Actually, their service may be too efficient now...last month I stopped in to buy some sunscreen and got added to some kind of special gifts list. Twice within three days someone called me to get a pre-charge set up, and they ended up charging me twice. Sigh. I'm sure it will get settled this week, but perhaps they need a better list management system. Otherwise, I dig.

Yelp
Love Nordstrom and the women's section. Always have great luck here and found some premium denim on the clearance rack for under $50. Super cute shoes, excellent cosmetics and handbags as well. Favorite place to shop!

Yelp
I went to Nordstrom Cherry Creek to do some shopping for a wedding I am attending, I was hoping to pull together a whole outfit but left in tears instead. I'm not the type of person to wear designer clothing, I carry a wallet and not a fancy purse, but I do have money which the petite, brunette, white saleswoman who was following me through the store clearly didn't know. I was walking around for a bit, found a dress I liked and continued looking while holding the dress and a few other pieces. There was another woman (wearing head to toe designer clothing with the brands plastered on her person) walking around the area I was looking in, picking up things to try on which were promptly taken to a dressing room by said saleswoman, and yet the saleswoman, never approached me to ask if I needed anything, nor if I needed a dressing room. At one point I said to her, standing maybe 5 feet away, "Hi, can you help me" and didn't finish my sentence before she walked away, I thought she didn't hear me and continued shopping. Finally I was ready to try on the pieces I picked out (I was getting hot at this point as I was carrying an arm full of clothing), the other shopper was still near me, when the saleswoman approached her (again) and asked if she needed anything, the woman turned to the saleswoman and said (pointing to me) "I don't, but you may want to help that woman over there"...the saleswoman looked at me, looked me up and down, AND WALKED AWAY. The other shopper looked at me and said "I tried". At this point it was glaringly obvious to the both of us what was happening- profiling because of my casual clothing, without the labels, and I'm white, I can't imagine what I would have experienced if I was a person of color. That saleswoman is despicable and cruel. I put all the clothing back on the racks (because I am a good human) and walked out in tears. It has been a few months, and I have sat on it, but I couldn't anymore and decided to leave a review. I will never shop at Nordstrom again. I also need to note that before I became successful (I hate saying I'm rich, because I'm modest, but eff it, I am rich now) I was a broke (poor) college student who worked at another Nordstrom's Ebar. A lot must have changed in the 16 years since I worked there because Nordstrom was always very particular about how we treated guests.

Yelp
Egyptian cotton. Ummmmmmm. Niceeeee stuff, huh? Ya wanna lot of it? You can buy a commodities contract on it for the future delivery of 50,000 lbs of it for around 83 cents a pound. That's what manufacturers pay. So when you go to Nordstrom's and pay around $100 for a 500 count flat sheet, just imagine the profit involved . . . That said, I love the customer service at Nordstom's. I recently needed some special order shoes and Ed in the men's shoe dept at the Cherry Creek store (who's been selling shoes at Nordstrom's for 17 years, he tells me!) performed some selling miracles and got me what I needed at a moment's notice. So that's 5 stars for customer service and 1 star for price to value ratio = a solid 3 stars and a recommendation to see them when you need someone to do something special for you about a consumer dept store product!
