Aisha Ibrahim and Brendan McGill Get National Recognition | Eater Seattle

"For National Hispanic Heritage Month I saw that Nordstrom is featuring pastry chef Paola Velez’s pecan-plantain sticky buns across all of the department store’s restaurants, and will also offer a Pastelitos she created for the partnership — a savory, sky-high puff pastry filled with roasted nectarines and a punchy sofrito beef filling — available September 15 to October 15." - Harry Cheadle

Jamie in the men’s shoe department was attentive and kind. The gentleman in the men’s clothing department I didn’t catch his name was also polite and genuinely helpful. It seems Nordstrom has an amazing team in the men’s department. They are professional, knowledgeable about sizing, and very helpful in finding exactly what you’re looking for. This is my third time shopping here since moving to Denver, and I continue to love the customer service.

As a former Nordstrom employee my impression of any Nordstrom is viewed through that lens. And I must say the Cherry 🍒 Creek Nordstrom location is my favorite I’ve ever been to! The vibes are right. The sales are lit 🔥! The people are kind, smiling, and smart. I love coming here every time I come to the mall. There’s always something new and interesting. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Plus, the Sephora’s I’ve been to even the one in the Cherry Creek Mall where this Nordstrom is does not carry the NARS lipstick that I’m obsessed with…NARS “Don’t Stop” … Everyone always asks me what the brand and color is. Because it’s the only lipstick 💄 since 2022. So Sephora doesn’t carry this shade anymore. So I have to come to this Nordstrom and Cherry Creek Mall to find it in person. I’ve bought lots of make up here and even returned it easily. Nordstrom is very good about returns. The quality throughout the whole store and the make up is wonderful. Ulysses is the beautify ambassador La Mer and where’s divine Prada Eyewear and is very helpful. Mame is one of the staff members for Dior and she is AMAZING, gives excellent customer service and is beautiful inside and out. Alfred is the Store General Manager and he runs a good ship and keeps the culture of the place feeling like it’s a Cheers bar where everyone is welcome.

8/14/25: AVOID this location at all costs. Had a terrible experience at this Nordstrom store. It’s kinda crazy bc I used to work at this exact store two years ago. Be aware of the girl who has curly hair who works Jeans with Beth. I came in looking for a Black Tie dress for my friends wedding next month. I find some options to try on. The store was understaffed I had to drag my dresses to the Jeans section to get a fitting room. I finally get a fitting room and tried on around 6-7 dresses. I find one I really love but wanted to see if there’s anything else. I left a dress on the door to let the sales associate know I’m coming back and to not clear my room. This protocol was always followed when someone was leaving. I come back 10-15 later and saw that my dress on the door was taken away and I asked the sales associate to let me back in thinking that all of my stuff would be in there. I walk in and everything is gone and she already started talking it back to the other department. I was extremely frustrated as the dress I wanted was the last size in stock and she already put it back. She goes and finds all my stuff and I tell her I need to run to the bathroom and to leave the fitting room open and leave the stuff in there. She told me she can’t let me leave my stuff in there or the door open while I use the bathroom. The only option was to put my stuff on hold. I do that and then come back ten minutes later and no one is on the floor. I had no choice but to steal the dress I wanted off the rack. I get a new fitting room by the actual dress section and no one came and cleared my stuff out. I ended up getting checked out by a sweet girl named Hannah in the dress and the girl in the jeans lost that sale. I spent quite a bit of money around $400 and almost walked out without anything. I’m not sure what that girls problem was in jeans or if she thought I was gonna steal something just bc I had no makeup on and a Amazon romper but goes to show never to judge a book by it’s cover. She had no idea I used to work with Beth in women’s clothing two years ago. After this experience I don’t think I want to purchase or shop for anything at this location again. The sales associates are rude and judgmental. The Park Meadows location is so much better. If I do have to purchase anything I’ll be there instead of this location

Greg in tailoring is the reason I’ll keep driving 170+ miles to shop at Nordstrom. A couple of years ago he rushed a hem for me before an event, and today he once again went above and beyond, talking me through fits, involving me in the details, and even rushing my pants so I’d have them ready when I needed. His eye for detail is impeccable, and he always looks sharp himself. A true professional. Sandra in Sportswear was also amazing. She helped with returns, styling, and worked seamlessly with Greg to round out some versatile looks. Together they made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. As a former Nordstrom employee, it’s great to see the tradition of excellent customer service alive and well. Great clothes, great people, and service that makes the trip more than worth it.

I've been in here a few times but Sher went above and beyond and even fit the sneakers ln my foot. She was the epitome of excellent service. Please commend her; very personable.

Billy was the best server we've had. We're vegetarian and we had the Salisbury steak, tomatoe soup and veggie eggrolls. Everything tasted like it was made from scratch. The cocktails were well-crafted. My spouse is picky about his drinks and he was gobsmacked! This is one place we'll return to every time we're in Las Vegas.

Amazing service from everyone we interacted with. A pair of men’s dress shoes was not in stock, they ordered it for me and it was quickly shipped to my desired location (home or any one of their stores). Also, had great help pulling items for me to try on in the women’s department.

Reals garbage sometimes. In a day and age of AI this is like farmland. Misses schedules and times of public transport so often. Stops listed and recommended should have choices - when there’s more than 1 - ie passing the station and making you wait at the next stop in the rain. These are obvious. Now I know the route. When I didn’t waiting in the rain or the bus shelter in Denver on Beay and 13th is a drug stop. No decent person should be waiting there for 2 minutes let alone 23 mins - bit oh! I could have waited at the station at the last stop where there is a roof, security and normal commuters. Now I have to use this as a guideline and find my own route. Sadly. It’s the only o e so….
