Noreen - Review - Marylebone - London - The Infatuation

"It’s hard to read Noreen’s menu and not picture yourself eating slow-cooked short rib hummus and sipping an Arabic Coffee Martini on the scatter cushion-sponsored terrace at this Marylebone spot. Middle Eastern dishes aside, there’s also an exciting cocktail menu from Mr Lyan. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Sinéad Cranna

We had a fantastic dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. What truly made the evening stand out was the exceptional service we received from James. He was friendly, professional, and attentive. James made great recommendations and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal.

Noreen was nothing short of amazing! Every dish was full of flavour and generous in size. Please order the cardamom bun it’s beautifully soft and paired perfectly with date butter! The lamb shoulder was tender and made us feel like we had a home cooked meal. Thank you to Hassan who very kindly asked the chef to prepare the kunafa truffle for us even though it was not available for the day! Cannot wait to visit again!

This restaurant has the potential to be a great spot, especially given the quality of the food, which was genuinely tasty and served in generous portions. The atmosphere was pleasant, though a bit dark inside. Unfortunately, the service significantly detracted from the overall experience. Despite having a large number of staff on the floor, the service felt disorganized and impersonal. We had to ask for water three times before it was brought to the table, and even then, glasses were only provided after an additional request. We were offered the dessert menu, but it never arrived. Similarly, we had to request the bill twice, and when we asked to have the service charge removed, it was taken off without any acknowledgment or inquiry — which felt unusual and somewhat unprofessional. While the food was the highlight, the cocktails were underwhelming and lacked depth of flavor. Overall, this place feels more geared toward tourists than locals. With improved service and attention to detail, it could truly shine.

Noreen has a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable as soon as you step inside. The space is thoughtfully designed, blending elegance with a cosy, welcoming vibe. The walls are adorned with carefully chosen artwork, including standout pieces by Arab artists, adding warmth and personality. The food is absolutely fantastic—some of the best Middle Eastern cuisine in London—fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented, with every dish made with real care and creativity. The staff are kind and attentive, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that stays with you, makes you crave the food, and keeps you coming back again and again.

The food here was truly impressive—so much creativity in the dishes and unique flavours. Everything we tried was delicious, and the presentation was beautifully done. The service made the experience even better. Hasan and Jad were really warm, friendly, and attentive. They explained the dishes clearly, and when I was curious about a specific flavour in the dessert, they even brought out the exec chef to chat with me, which was a lovely touch. The overall quality, from the food to the atmosphere and decor, was excellent. The space is beautiful and relaxing, and I’m really looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu.

Excellent food and cozy atmosphere. Service a bit slow despite being half-empty early lunchtime. Lost a star on value for money as dishes are quite small but very pricey!

One of the newest and best restaurants in St Christopher’s Place. Many of the dishes are small but everything we tried was delicious. The Mandi stood out as the best dish.

Noreen is a new restaurant that offers a creative mix of Lebanese and Gulf cuisine. The vibe is warm and welcoming, and the service was really great. Food review: The portions are on the smaller side, but the flavors were impressive. Hummus – classic and smooth Labna Khadra – fresh with a nice mint flavor Batata Harrah – spicy and delicious Kibbeh – stuffed with mushrooms, didn’t like it Fattoush – fresh and crunchy Mandi – the best dish of the night, full of flavor and perfectly cooked Chicken Tawook – tender and well-seasoned Tenderloin Steak – nicely cooked, but had a slightly sour taste Final words: A lovely spot for something new and flavorful. Great service, tasty dishes, but keep in mind the portions are small. Worth trying, especially for the Mandi
