Super creative and fun! I adored the vibe. Definitely try a sample first though. We adored the mango sticky rice combo. The mango was delightful and the sticky rice ice cream. It had yummy rice pudding toppings. It was surreal how amazing it was. I'm a huge thin mint girl scout cookie fan so I was excited to try the thin mint one. It was not my thing. The flavor was just odd to me. It was kind of tangy and bitter. The interior was super fun. I love love loved the little print machine for a dollar. Definitely a fun experience. 10/10 would recommend. Just make sure to taste flavors prior.

I love normal. One of my favorite Salt Lake City stops. Just lovely flavor profiles and creative execution. The composed cones and even just the ice cream alone are amazing. Staff is always kind and they’re ALWAYS busy. Go get something.

Google
It’s soft serve and the flavors are ok. On the night we came they ran out of vanilla so that didn’t leave us with many similar options. They had an olive oil flavor which was vanilla based but different enough that didn’t appeal to me. I would try something else next time I’m visiting

Google
I love normal ice cream! They always have a gluten free AND dairy free option for me. It’s hard to find that for soft serve ice cream! On top of that their flavors are so thoughtfully made. They’re eclectic and bold, showing that their ice cream is more than dessert— it’s a culinary adventure! Even better, they have a new menu each month which really keeps things interesting and something to look forward to. Marketing hits the mark every time with their promos and always makes my mouth water. All of their staff are so kind and professional too, bringing an atmosphere of chill, easygoing fun. They know how to pile on the toppings and make a masterpiece at the same time *chef’s kiss* I will forever love normal.

Google
Tasty soft serve! I got a chocolate one with brownie chunks and some hot fudge. I don't eat soft serve all that often but their cone was good and it was a solid tasty treat that didn't feel overly priced either. Not a ton of room to sit, but I like that they rotate flavors frequently! I got a sample of the goat cheese which was good too.

Google
A bit off the beaten path, but worth the walk! My son and I loved the treats we bought! I had the April showers and he had the lemon bar. Both were delicious! The chocolate shell on mine was better than any that I've had before. Highly highly recommend!

I have been wanting to try Normal Club for years and was in the area on a date with my husband so we stopped by. Finding a parking spot wasn't a problem. The workers were kind and patient as it was our first time. I want to try the cones next time but we got our ice cream in a cup this time. My husband got the Char-cute-rie, fig & goat cheese twist + blueberry jam + parmesan crispies + maldon sea salt. I tried a couple bites and loved it! So flavorful and unique. I embraced my love for chocolate and got a build your own. Chocolate milk ice cream + dipped in dark chocolate + brown butter ganache brownie bits. It was pure heaven! The flavor wasn't just a boring chocolate flavor but good quality and so tasty! I am already craving it again!

Incident date june 25th around 3:45 ish. Normal please check your employees and let them know that harassing customers outside of your business is completely unacceptable. Miss Ivy who works at normal felt the need to tell me that I couldn’t park in a spot that clearly had no “ no parking” signs. I was at first confused on why this stranger was knocking on my car window and touching my property but I just let it go. I frequent normal a lot and recognized this girl as an employees. After I came back outside, I was welcomed with a lovely note on my car. Completely unacceptable behavior.

Yelp
Even in a cold night you can grab some ice cream. Some neat flavors and enjoyed our trip in.

Yelp
Really good!! I love that they have interesting flavors that you can't typically find everywhere else. The inside is also very cute and vibey. The staff was nice as well. Definitely a spot I'll plan to take my visiting guests in the future!

Yelp
Funky little not so normal ice cream shop we discovered while out and about in Salt Lake City . Cool toppings and dips on soft serve in a cup or cone . Loved all the cool different toppings and dips . My friend had a peach on a cone which tasted so much like fresh peaches not artificial at all. I had the chocolate and vanilla milk twist in a cup with some coconut jam and shortbread crumbs . This was absolutely divine ! Creamy ice cream with this insane thick coconutty jammy sauce with yummy buttery shortbread. Combined it was such a cool flavor. All my faves ! Cool inside seating and a table outside . We enjoyed ours walking through the neighborhood streets ! Total unique find !

Yelp
Based on the high ratings and the fact that the place was packed when I went today clearly means this is going to be an unpopular opinion. So, to put it plainly, this ice cream just isn't very good in my opinion. The ordering process is quite simple, you choose a flavor, how you want it (ie cone or cup), choose an optional dip, and then choose from a list of 15 or so toppings (all of which cost .50 a piece). Among the list of toppings, many of them are quite experimental and un appetizing such as: "drizzle olive oil", olive oil cake, and sweet corn cake. As far as the flavors go, there are only 5 and the most "normal" flavors they have are chocolate and vanilla. There are then 3 dip choices. I got the chocolate milk flavor with almond dip and fruit pebbles on top. I love soft serve ice cream, but this ice cream just doesn't do it for me. The consistency is smooth, but it's the most buttery tasting ice cream I've ever had, and to "top it off" the chocolate milk flavor was almost bitter which didn't make for a great combo. It's also just very plain. Yes you can get toppings, but I wish there was something within the ice cream to break up the flavor a bit. I did however enjoy the almond dip, it's quite sweet and did offset the bitterness and butteriness of the ice cream a bit. I do think they would greatly benefit from having some "lighter" dip options to go with chocolate ice like a strawberry or something. I did like that they have some water that's out and available for free, and the inside of the store is very cute with their decorations and clean Overall, while of course didn't try more than what I ate, I'm not motivated after this first experience to come back and try more

Yelp
I've been eyeing Normal Ice Cream for a while now and we decided to try their 900 S location after dinner one night. The place was packed with people waiting for ice cream and eating their ice cream. The line to order wasn't long at all, so we ordered an or-re-oh half size cone and a prickly pear half size cone. We didn't wait long for our order to be ready. The cones were made beautifully and were really big for a half size. Our consensus was that the cones were just okay. My husband wasn't a fan of the prickly pear flavored sherbet and wished he had gone with the baklava cone or (if it wasn't sold out) the pistachio flavored ice cream. We'll give this place a try again at some point.

Yelp
Decided to try this place because the pictures looked good. When I went in, the flavors were different than the pictures posted. I should've known it was seasonal stuff. I was kinda iffy on the menu, but I gave the benefit of the doubt it would be good. I ordered the plum tastic, my fiancé ordered the Acai one. When we got it, I looked good, but weird. Tried it, and it was disgusting. The taste was sour, bitter, sweet all in one. Felt like a kid just mixed random stuff and gave it to us. If you're brave, try this place I guess. If not, choose a different Ice cream shop. Literally two bites and decided to throw it away.

Yelp
Nothing is normal about this ice cream but I presume they named it "Normal Ice Cream" ironically. My friends and I had just finished up dinner and were looking for a sweet treat. We searched from some places nearby and Normal Ice Cream was a clear winner. I used to live in Salt Lake City but I always forget about the cute charm that comes with the area, especially 9th and 9th. We drove by the whale and the shop itself gave the perfect Salt Lake City hipster vibe. This store was pretty small and we didn't have anywhere to sit, but man, it is a cute spot. They have all kinds of cute decor over by their seating area and it is probably even better in the summer when you can enjoy the ice cream outside. I have never seen such a complex, simple menu before. Yes, you read that right. They have have ice cream, and a few different ways to get the ice cream, but man, their choices are out of this world! They have lavender (yucky bathtub flavor), honey, brownie batter, lemon, salted vanilla bean, and so much more. You can opt for a cup or a cone and top it with some unique things. They also offer other ice cream choices like ice cream sandwiches, "chocos", ice cream cakes, and ice cream pints. They also have some merch on display and it all has cute designs! There was quite a few people working and they were great at tackling the line and getting everyone's orders out. I don't feel like my order took too long to get and it was exactly what I wanted. I got some kind of ice cream concoction that made every single one of my friends laugh at me. It was the brownie batter ice cream, with marshmallow fluff, fruity pebbles, and brown butter milk crumb. Everyone reading this can hate all they want. Yes, it tasted like the floor of a daycare and I loved every bite. It was unlike any other ice cream I have ever had before. I especially loved the fruity pebbles on the top--it complemented the ice cream perfectly! I really loved my visit at Normal Ice Cream and so did all of my friends. I would love to come back sometime this summer!

Yelp
How cute is the icecream sign outside! And this place is caller Normal, I love it. Staff is extremely friendly. But omg! The ice cream! I got the ube flavor. There's just everything to love about it and more. The flavor? Brilliant! The texture? Brilliant! The creaminess? Brilliant! The smoothness? Brilliant! The magic in your mouth? Well yessss!!! Try it out and be a fan for life! I'm not even much of an ice cream person but I'd go here a million times! They have different flavors that they change seasonally. You can get a cone or a cup. And even the joint is so adorable to sit inside or outside to enjoy that delicious cream! I loved every bite of it and would just have loved to try more flavors. You can also customize it. I just took one flavor plain and that was so just the most delicious!
google avatar

Michiko M.

Yelp
Really small spot but very cute. They only had two people working so you might have to wait a little. The cone was good but it does get messy so I would try the one with a cup and cone!
google avatar

Yelp
Love the idea of a monthly menu, knew we had to check it out. Small, open and bright shop. Not overwhelming in options like other places. Served quickly and efficiently. Got two types of their "norm core" ice cream cakes and were really happy with them! Unique take on ice cream cake, the ice cream is in the middle with brownie and icing surrounding the ice cream. Perfect cake to ice cream ratio, and it was the perfect size. Definitely try the cake over the plain ice cream!
google avatar

Melissa J.

Yelp
The store was super clean and cute! I ordered the Salted Vanilla Bean with fudge sauce in a cone. The ice cream was a bit too salty for me, but it might be an acquired taste for some. It wasn't the most aesthetically pleasing. The server was kind and the service was quick. The prices were affordable, too!

Yelp
Begun as an Ice Cream truck by Alexa Norlin fans of Normal now get their fix at 169 E 900 Street, the #instagram friendly shop offering a rotating array of flavors that may see Sweet Corn Soft Serve one day followed by Chai or Pumpkin Spice the next. Using a sleepy circle for its logo, nothing about the shop befitting its name, it is after a few tastes that guests are invited to compose their own Cone or select from composed concoctions including Cookie Sandwiches, Parfaits or Floats. Not exactly the sort of place for smiling service, a lone employee on Sunday afternoon obviously bored, it was after a spoon of Sweet Corn that "Ice Cream For Breakfast" was created, Norlin's history as a Pastry Chef evident in pure flavors to whom the addition of crispy Croissants and buttery Sauce lent the unmistakable flavor of Blueberry Pancakes.

Yelp
The ice cream is phenomenal with options to customize your toppings. They have vegan and gluten free options without losing flavor. (I am not vegan or gf so I'd definitely notice). The half size was still plenty and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Phylicia M.

Yelp
This by far the best ice cream I've ever had! Not too sweet, great texture, fluffy, just amazingly well done. This is based on the ube, coconut, and vanilla. Also appreciated the great service!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I LOVE Normal Ice Cream! It is SO good. Despite the name, this ice cream is definitely not "normal"-- it is extremely creative. Every month, they come out with new and limited-edition flavors, rotating as the seasons change. The one staple that is a repeat month after month is Salted Vanilla Bean, which is THE holy grail of vanilla soft serve ice cream. It is soooo creamy and perfectly balanced in flavor. I also love to get their composed cones, which are creatively done sundaes that feature their fun flavored soft serves with interesting toppings. They are so fun and yummy. Their menu also features drinks like affogatos, coffee concoctions, and more. The people who work here are nice but so busy. Sometimes, during the rushes, I feel so bad for them, but they keep such a good attitude about things. Also, no matter how busy, they still let us sample the various flavors, ask questions, and create the composed cones with precision and consistency. They also sell things in pints and as ice cream cakes in the freezer in the store. I highly recommend checking those out too, because they are also creative flavors. The decor is so cute, both from the outside and inside. I love how young and hip it feels, and it really embodies a Salt Lake City "culture." There is also some seating, both inside and outside. This place is so good that my boyfriend and I come at least biweekly, sometimes weekly. We always crave it, and never get sick of it because they're always coming out with new flavors.

Yelp
I got the "We Love Junk Food": salted vanilla bean soft serve, Normal butter (cookie butter), Oreos, and potato chips! Ofc I subbed chocolate milk soft serve for the vanilla haha. Tbh didn't like the potato chips as much as I thought I would and I left craving a brownie.... But overall flavors were super yum and super creative!! Not pictured is an order of Camping in January: graham cracker and chocolate milk swirl soft serve with marshmallow fluff and graham crackers all dipped in chocolate. My husband's only feedback was that it "wasn't cold enough". Overall, we liked the ice cream. The flavors and combinations were very creative and you definitely could not get something like this anywhere else. The location is great, located next to a lot of other small businesses. Inside is super cute, love the decorations, lots of merch to buy. I also love the fact that the menu changes every month or something like that? Week maybe? Makes me want to go often to try everything.

Marta E.

Yelp
Our ice cream was just okay, but we plan to go back and try something different. I got vanilla with black sesame and my husband got ube and matcha. I didn't really think that they wouldn't dip the cone if I got it in a cup so I would get the cone next time.

Yelp
Normal has my heart! First time reviewer of this location, long time fan. It's my go-to spot for a pick me up, which is what landed me here on Saturday after a long day. I'm a soft serve lover and have always loved the unique flavors and composed cones that Normal creates. I saw a video on their Instagram the other day about their new Campfire composed cone and I immediately headed here. It had chocolate and vanilla soft serve, chocolate shell syrup, graham cracker bits, and a marshmallow topping. They change up their menu and flavor options every single month and they announce their new items in an e-newsletter and on Instagram. They have some of the most unique flavors I've seen in SLC, and they have vegan options as well. Their buttered popcorn flavor is one of my favorites! They don't just do composed cones and soft serve, either. They also have choco tacos, ice cream cakes, ice cream bars, ice cream sandwiches, and ice cream pints as well. I've gotten their pints and ice cream sandwiches several times at Harmon's as well. They have a cute little interior that's usually pretty filled up - I think there's maybe around 6-8 tables inside? It's a small shop, but cute with some fun and funky photo ops.

Apoorva B.

Yelp
If you are in a mood for a softie, this is the best place ever. You can make your own softie and add your choice of topping. We ordered chocolate icecream with Oreo dust and cocoa pebbles. The texture of the icecream was so thick and creamy. While the orea dust is extremely sweet, cocoa pebbles is subtle and amazing. This is a small shop and has a friendly service.
google avatar

Yelp
Solid dessert! Fun rotating flavors, cute little shop. The staff there was super nice and let us sample the soft serve flavors. They have 2 sizes, a half and full which was nice. I got the half size of a s'mores one - chocolate and graham cracker swirl with ganache and marshmallows. I was a big fan! I will keep tabs on their Instagram to see future fun flavors and will be back

Yelp

Yelp
Step into a world of extraordinary flavors at Normal Ice Cream. From unconventional combos to locally sourced milk, their ice cream is a true delight. We couldn't resist trying the soft serve cone with salted vanilla bean and fudgesicle dipped in dulce, and topped with oat strudel. It was a delicious struggle to finish the half-size portion after just having eaten lunch. We can't imagine how big the regular cone is! Plus, the place is super cute! And totally instagram worthy! Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind ice cream experience. See eathereutah on the gram for more reviews!

Yelp
Great soft serve ice cream, always something new, fun spot to take out-of-towners, good vibes, great location.

Yelp
Normal is one of my favorite ice cream dreams in Salt Lake City. Great for parents and kids alike. Has a lot of flavors, sorbets so fresh with blackberries! Vegan/gluten free Makes it nice & easy for me!

Louise R.

Yelp
The smell of this ice cream parlor is extremely off putting, it smells like a restroom. Additionally, the ice cream selection is way too small and the ice cream is just not good.
google avatar

Channing M.

Yelp
Obsessed is an understatement. The menu changes regularly and you can come in and grab all the flavorful pints that your mind can imagine or already created ice cream bars and sandwiches. They have a grab and pay freezer which is great if you don't want to wait in line You should wait in line however, because the compost cones are out of this world. This female owned company not to mention locally owned partners with other small businesses run by local foodies, comes up with some of the most incredible flavors. The baklavaziza features baklava from aziza Cafe with Greek Frozen yogurt soft serve. It's something that tastes like a dream. London fog with Earl Gray soft serve and cotton candy that's flavored with bergamot is wild. If you like ice cream this is the place for you. They also have vegan and dairy-free options for those who don't play well with the regular dairy ice cream.
google avatar

Yelp
Interesting place! Far from normal ;) I really enjoy the ice-cream here! The flavors in store are very unique and usually pretty tasteful. The ice cream does have a salty/sour taste but it usually compliments pretty well so I can't complain. I frequently get the ice-cream sandwiches from harmons so it's always a treat to get to go in store! It's darling but super tiny, I'm sure many patrons would appreciate a location change just for more space. Service is good and I've honestly never had an issue but that they forgot my husbands cone! Oops!
google avatar

Sarah H.

Yelp
I love normal ice cream!!! You can pick to do a curated flavor or just the ice scream with toppings (or no toppings). You order at the counter and then come pick it up. There's a few tables in the back but when it's nice out, you can hang out in the front too. Delicious ice cream and unique flavors!
google avatar

Isaac R.

Yelp
You know an ice cream spot is good, so you have to make a line to get there. I know nobody likes to wait for so long, but it is worth it.
google avatar

Jackie B.

Yelp
Lovely, fun, creative, great staff, ice cream was very good, interesting swag. I just wish they had plan 'ole chocolate and vanilla twist in soft serve. I feel like they would have done it so well! (And truly good soft serve is hard to find) it also has coconut whip cream for the GF option special treat
google avatar

Jeff C.

Yelp
Delightful and creative ice cream joint in the Maven District with an eclectic and seasonal mix of offerings. My "April Showers" choice was a blueberry sorbet soft serve with chocolate crinkles and sprinkles and topped with cotton candy. Very, very rich and the ice cream super smooth. I sampled the coconut and it tasted like it was scooped right out of the nut itself instead of an artificial taste. Service was very helpful and pleasant, and props for a very nice merchandise section for all you fans out there. Give it a shot!
google avatar

Filiku M.

Yelp
5 stars for flavor of ice cream I got with the toppings Good af Idk if I'd go there again cuz it's a lil far from me and I don't be eating ice cream like that K bye
google avatar

Sam O.

Yelp
This place is too basic and trendy. There are not a lot of flavors which I guess makes it "normal" and it was super expensive for my basic vanilla cone. The flavor was lacking as well. Maybe it's healthy? Maybe it's cool? Not my kind of dessert but it was very busy and the 4 seats were all taken.

Sarah S.

Yelp
Such amazing soft serve wow. Was visiting Salt Lake and stumbled upon this place close to where we were staying. I will have dreams about this.

Crysta B.

Yelp
Rudest human being at this establishment... I had my very small service dog with me and I had her on her leash on the floor she yelled " UMM if you're going to have her in the store can you atleast hold her?" I was with my relatives from out of town so I didn't want to argue with her on her rudeness and laws of service animals. What is up with the attitude when I come here?... everyone in the store got silent and looked at us.
google avatar

Doug M.

Yelp
Bumping to 5 stars! Since my initial review I've come to further appreciate the creativity and overall excellence Normal offers, from their branding, social media consistency, monthly new flavors and composed cones, support of the community, fun loyalty program, and more. I regularly bring out-of-town friends to Normal, and that's one of my heuristics for a "five-star" place. The creativity in elevating the lowliest form of ice cream to something gourmet is deserving of recognition. I love this place!
google avatar

Haylee A.

Yelp
ok for the longest time, i hyped normal as best ice cream in utah but honestly the ice cream itself is pretty mid. i do love their innovation and unique flavor combos though- (salted maple & blueberry butter ganache- yes please) butttt rockwell wins for best overall ice cream. sorry.
google avatar

Eden N.

Yelp
This place is so fun! I'm a sucker for soft-serve ice cream and unique flavors, and Normal fits the bill! They have an ever-changing rotation of classic and eclectic flavors as well as some fabulous toppings. We love bringing people here. The interior is pretty small but very inviting nonetheless. This is a fun place to get ice cream with friends, especially in the warmer months.
google avatar

Debbie O.

Yelp
Delicious ice cream and unique seasonal flavors that you truly cannot find anywhere. There's nothing normal about normal in my opinion. It's rather extraordinary simply put. The quality of ingredients also make it absolutely worth while. The hot chocolate, mint, corn, horchata flavors were all superb. I finally got to try their matcha soft serve recently and wow! Always worth a visit.
google avatar

Winnie L.

Yelp
Pro-tip: The half-size ($3) is plenty in my opinion, but if you're going with someone and want the same flavors, you should get the normal size and ask for an empty cup and then just split it since a normal is $4 and two halves would be $6. Specific combinations are available as a swirl. The truck and the store have different flavors!! Be sure to check the right location when you're looking at the menu online. Highlights: I absolutely love flavored soft serve and this place nailed it. I also love the option to "dip" your ice cream without getting a cone - they just pour it on. Also, you can get dark chocolate or dark chocolate crunch which has rice krispies in it. I had the cranberry and cream cheese swirl, milk tea on its own and pumpkin spice dipped with dark chocolate crunch. I would go back in a heartbeat and recommend this place to everyone! Lowlights: It starts to rack up if you want both a cone, dippings and toppings. It would be neat if they had another machine to offer more flavors. Also the truck location only had cereal flavors. I'm not sure if that was just this month's thing, but I never find that as fun as other flavor profiles so I left immediately and went to the store location.

Johanna B.

Yelp
One of the best ice cream places in Utah. They have monthly flavors so be sure to check it out online beforehand so you are prepared. They always have unique flavor combinations and the service is friendly and fast. They have a cute instagramable interior as well.
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
Nothing Normal about this place, they are different, trendy and most importantly so delicious!!! Found it by trying to park near Chip Cookie and if you blinked you would miss this place! We tried 4 different items and an interesting candy bar with sourdough. Can't wait to come back and try some other flavors.
google avatar

Kelsey B.

Yelp
What a fun, unique spot. And such a great value. I loved every flavor I tried, especially the mint and chocolate swirl. There were plenty of gf toppings too.
google avatar

Yelp
Normal, an ice cream place that is everything but. Want a cone? Nah unless you want "trash berry". Want to sit down? Good luck unless you're ok sitting down to a group of people who won't shut up about their rude sex acts inside, loudly, and when you ask them to please refrain from such depravity they gotta raise an attitude and call you a "TERF", I'm just trying to get ice cream, not cause hate crimes... The ice cream is always out of stock in any of the good flavors, the staff couldn't care less about having any semblance of customer service. I have yet to walk in and be able to order anything without it either not being able to be made, or has to have all this extra, unnecessary stuff either apart of the ice cream itself I.e. why can't I have just a regular cone of ice cream it has to be like "trash berry GF V" it's like... I want vanilla ice cream cone and you're out and also your kiosk lady is super rude, I go in to cool off from a hot day in the summer and all I get is heated up by the honestly palpable inauthenticity and crappy attitudes of the employees. I come here simply to make my wife happy. do better and go to Nielsons frozen custard over Normal. If they could consistently have "normal" flavors I would be happy.
google avatar

Nancy W.

Yelp
The shop was smelled and it was hot. They were out of both chocolate and vanilla ice cream so we went for one of their frozen sorbets we tried two different flavors and both lack taste. Also our order was forgotten by staff and that made our wait longer.

Yelp
Stopped by here in the afternoon in the middle of the week. There were 4 adults and 4 kids in our party. The inside of this spot is so cute and the service was wonderful. The toppings are so cute and so unique! What a great idea to find a way to stick toppings onto the outside of the dipped ice cream cone. Unfortunately, no one enjoyed the actual ice cream (soft serve?). The salted vanilla was really quite sour (and not purposely sour - almost like the cream went bad). The chocolate was bland and sour; if your eyes were closed you might not be able to tell it was chocolate. We ate the toppings, which were terrific, but then threw the ice cream away.

Yelp
Obsessed doesn't even cover it. Their sweet corn ice cream is the stuff dreams are made of. Sweet and savory, ridiculously good!

Yelp
I'm always on the looking for new ice cream spots, so when my boss recommended it, Normal Ice Cream went right on my must-try spots. What you'll find here is not your standard ice cream. Unique soft serve flavors like sourdough and lychee offer a different twist (no pun intended) on a classic summer treat. Choose one of Normal's flavor combinations or create your own combo of soft serve and toppings. The ice cream was solid, though I wish there was a chocolate flavor (dark chocolate maybe?) of some kind in soft serve form. The presentation of the custard on my cone wasn't pretty, but tasted fine. Currently, Normal is not letting anyone eat ice cream inside the store, and there is only one picnic table outside, so seating is very limited. Parking is also limited--the few street parking spots were taken for the other stores on the street, and we snagged the very last spot in the back lot.
