"This Brooklyn store is among our very favorite toy shops, and for good reason: Just about everything, from the wooden toys, to the hand-sewn cloth dolls, to the musical instruments and craft kits (of which there are many), is intended to ignite a kid’s imagination. And in keeping with their small, sustainable vibe, they feature the work of many small, local Brooklyn designers."

Incredibly cool store and toys. I wanted something special and unique for my two nieces so stopped in randomly on my camping trip. (super cool area btw) I was sooo happy I did! Normally don't leave reviews but these folks are doing something different and special. Curated, cool, unique items made it hard on what to pick out for my nieces... they loved the gifts and asked where i "..found something like this!" 🤣 So cute.

Beautiful and thoughtful space, with a palpable nurturing energy. The products are wonderfully curated, and the customer service goes above and beyond. My godson is obsessed with his Dinkum Doll

I was excited to travel to this store from Honesdale as they came up on the jellycat locator online.. I got there on a Friday early afternoon when they said they were open online but when I got there they were closed and no one was inside. I then couldn’t find a phone number to try to call them. I stuck around for a short time but had to leave so I didn’t get to look inside at all unfortunately.

Norman & Jules strikes again! I ordered a gift online for my niece and overall just had a really positive experience. After a few other amazing experiences with this shop - I feel compelled to write a review. The selection is fantastic with beautiful, unique, and interesting items for kids and babies of all ages that you won't find at your average toy store. The customer service is awesome! I have been given very thoughtful gift recommendations like the one for my niece - they are always so sweet and happy to help! You can tell how genuinely passionate they are about what they do. My orders have always arrived quickly and been wrapped carefully and I just love supporting this awesome small business.

We love our local toy shop! We have been going here for years and always have a lovely, happy experience. During the pandemic, once it was safe for everyone to reopen the doors, we have taken our daughter for regular special trips to Norman and Jules to pick out one special gift, and they sure are special :) beautiful, thoughtful toys that stand the test of time!

Really disappointed with their store front. Much, much smaller than I expected which means far less options than what you see online. They have cool things on line but nothing too great in store. Even my 4 year old was dissatisfied. We had 1/2 a day before we left New York and choose to spend it eating in Brooklyn and taking our kids here instead of some really great other options and if I could do it again, I would have spent our time elsewhere. Nothing great to see here in person. Sorry to say because I love the online shop!

My wife and I are huge fans of the store. They have fun, engaging, and interesting toys that grab the attention of our six month old daughter. They carry really cute clothes, too! The staff and owners are super helpful and knowledgeable.
We even bring my in-laws when they are in town—they love it, too.
We look forward to trying the curbside pick up!
