The ice cream was delicious, but the customer service was awful! The girl who took my order was visibly irritated, rolling her eyes and giving me a death stare simply for asking for sprinkles. As someone who works in the service industry, I understand how tough the job can be—and I’m not quick to complain— but this interaction was beyond, totally unacceptable! Her attitude was unprofessional and left a terrible impression. Unfortunately, it was enough to make me not want to return, which is a shame considering how good the product is.

Quaint little cafe with plenty of outdoor seating. We came for dinner and food was average but the real shiner is the ice cream! Their ice cream is rich, creamy and absolutely delicious. Plenty of street parking in the neighborhood.

May 19, 2025 looking for a breakfast spot & found this one! It’s a gem! Great service. The omelets we got were superb, the hash browns delicious, good coffee. Everything is fresh even the pancakes are homemade as is the many choices of ice creams! Clean restaurant as well as clean restrooms! Highly recommend!

Me and my family stopped by there for ice cream. It was so delicious!!😋 I like their indoor and outdoor seating area. Also, customer service was great!! Definitely, come back for more ice cream 🍦

We had a terrific lunch at North Beach ! Our omelette was delicious and the Turkey club was just great. Service with a smile! We will definitely be back. Great job!

I’m visiting Ventnor for the first time, staying right around the corner, and found this place my first day. The food is so good that I keep coming back — so far I’ve had the turkey club, banana bread French toast, banana split, an ice cream cone, and now I’m back for oatmeal and fresh fruit. Great little place!

very nice owners place is very clean and the ice cream is unbelievably good Great breakfast place. Also, the dinners are very good. Everything is homemade.

John and Agnes really hit it out of the park with this place...the food and the ice cream are both amazing. Not to mention the incredible water ice flavors. The pricing is great and the staff is attentive.

We stumbled on this quaint cafe and creamery off the beach in Ventnor City! We went again with our son and his wife and toddler after that since we loved it so much! There is incredible variety on the menu y plus ice cream variety and cinnamon rolls. Plus they serve breakfast all day as well! The food was great and the service was amazing!! I had biscuits and gravy which were fantastic and my wife had an omelet with hash brown potatoes of which all were great too! This may be our favorite restaurant (along with Betty's Sea Shack) in the Atlantic City, Ventnor and Margate area! Top two for sure!! When we retire there in a couple years we plan on eating there once or twice a week!!!

Really great late night ice cream spot and breakfast the next morning. Reasonably priced for both ice cream and breakfast. The ice cream is very flavorful and creamy. Breakfast was pretty good. Basic eggs but perfectly cooked to be over easy. The toast is perfectly crunchy and soft. The bacon was fantastic. Thick cut but tender and great flavor. Smoky flavor without the usual sweetness bacon tends to have.

Fantastic breakfast here the day after thanksgiving. You will need a reservation as this place is busy. A warm small bustling cafe serving fantastic and creative food. Located right on the boardwalk. I definitely recommend.

Chilly end of May morning. Found a nice corner nook for a 5 person. Love to see a special twist in addition to the favorites. I got banana bread French toast. Nice caramelized crust. Good eating. The waffle also crust with the little nooks. My wife's bacon was crispy as requested. I'd like to see what the house made biscuits look like. Drop or flakey? 2nd visit. Will be back.

They served me dog food and refused a refund, the gravy was water and the biscuit soaked it all up so it was soggy, never order this it was so gross

This spot is amazing. It's 1 block from the boardwalk in Ventnor. I stopped here every morning for breakfast (egg sammie) and took it to the boardwalk to enjoy as I woke up. They have sandwiches, smoothies, teas, and ice cream. They also have a window to place walk up orders, mostly for ice cream. We were lucky to have a place across the street, so I'd walk over and then back pretty quickly. The staff is nice and quick. They have plenty of tables indoors and a few outdoors for diners. They also have a bench near the side order window, which looked convenient for families with kids and ice cream. This is a great cafe. I didn't try their ice cream. Must return!

we were visiting some friends in Atlantic City and they said that we had to go here and get a bite to eat. I must say everything was delicious. We had an omelette with cheese and mushrooms nice size portion with potatoes and their famous biscuits. We also had the pancakes, which were very good and a biscuit with anwhich was also very good. With Two eggs. cappuccino and coffee was good the waitress was very nice food was delivered very nicely a taste of their cherry ice cream so good can't wait to go back and get a dip of that. They have indoor outdoor seating. Prices are moderate

The French toast gets a thumbs down. "Made on our homemade brioche," the menu says. Well, that is a mistake. French toast should be dipped in egg and griddled. I don't see how using "homemade" bread (they are not a bakery) that is almost two inches thick improves on the formula. To the contrary, we found no evidence the toast had even come in contact with egg. I don't know. But the kid though it might just be toast, albeit thick, brown-bread toast. The turkey Reuben sandwich also falls short. The rye bread toast was totally dry. Google says the sauerkraut contributes to the moisture of the bread. But this rye never came in contact with any moisture, it was separated from the sauerkraut by the layer of turkey. Google also says it should have been griddled in butter. But no. Again, it was totally dry. So I ate the sandwich ingredients, the turkey and sauerkraut and cheese, and I left the dry rye bread behind. That is not a Reuben sandwich.

My server was very accommodating and nice ,very attentive.Which makes this place worth visiting mostly .My waffle had okay taste and was a bit undercooked,may I suggest cooking it in grease after it gets off the waffle maker?The fries reminded me of the fries in the high school cafeteria BUT were pretty tasty .All and all this place is a fun experience 3.5 in my book .

Absolutely delicious lunch at North Beach!! My omelette was yummy and the turkey club was great. Service was exceptional ! We will definitely be back! Great job!

We loved this breakfast place so much...we went twice in three days! Both days we got to eat outside and had a wonderful experience. My husband had a hot green tea both days to drink. The first day I had a plain bagel with egg and bacon. The bagel was amazing! I could eat them everyday. My husband had eggs with lox and fresh fruit. Everything was so fresh and tasty! The second time I had an everything bagel with eggs and Canadian bacon, and my husband had a plain bagel with cream cheese...again bagel perfection!

I can only speak to the ice cream sandwiches at North Beach Cafe but I will say, they don't disappoint! Pictured is their carrot cake ice cream sandwich. The outside of the "sandwich" are pieces of carrot cake and the inside of the ice cream sandwich includes vanilla ice cream. They also offer brownie and cookie sandwiches for those that aren't carrot cake lovers. Their ice cream sandwiches do sell out and are contingent upon availability, so I definitely recommend you call ahead if you're interested in trying one of their ice cream sandwiches. The associates at North Beach Cafe are really sweet (no pun intended) in their willingness to check the back of the house if the front of the house freezer is empty! One thing to keep in mind is parking. During the somer months it can be tricky to find parking in Ventnor (hopefully you're a good parallel parker ). North beach cafe offers food as well if you're looking for a very lax atmosphere. It's located near neighboring restaurants and the boardwalk if you're looking for a date night, ice cream, and walk in the beach!

It's good but WAY OVERPRICED! I ordered at gelato with water ice and I ordered a small. The small was like 5.75 I've gone to other places in the area and you get a bigger portion you know for a small it was like a small Dixie cup compared to other places I just think it's is good but I think it's way overpriced for what you get. Service was good.

Stopped for breakfast with cousin Steve, he told me this was a great breakfast hang out of his. We ordered banana blueberry pancakes, and waffles and shared them both, along with a side of home-fries. Both the waffles and pancakes with good, my favorite was the pancakes, made with a load of bananas and blueberries they were really moist and flavorful. I only forked a couple of home fries which were ok, the only small snag to me was the coffee, I like a stronger brew, not really my cup of tea, lol. Try the place out, the people that work there are really nice...

If you are in the North Beach section of Ventnor be sure to make a stop to try the delicious breakfast being served up at this establishment. I had a short stack of their home made blueberry pancakes that were so delectable and bursting with blueberries, I couldn't stop til they were ALL gone! There were others who ordered the omelette choices and these were generously served with delectable sides. I believe they serve dinner as well. I liked being able to sit out doors and had a very pleasant time checking out all the great local scene happening up in the North Beach area. Ventnor has done a wonderful job of creating so many wonderful draws to attract visitors to this lovely seaside resort town! It's great to find new places to eat! This one, you should add to your list!

This place deserves more reviews and recognition!! Has lovely outdoor seating and service is very professional and friendly. They make amazing ice cream sandwiches in house and their food is delicious.

Very good breakfast!!! Good service. The HOMEMADE Biscuits are a real star of the breakfast. The prices are reasonable. Definitely, this is the place to get a very good breakfast at good prices. Beats any other place down in this area by a long shot. We're going to try their dinners next! Good Job North Beach Cafe!

Stopped in last evening for a quick dinner and was very impressed. No line, no waiting and we picked where we wanted to sit outside. We had the Lemon Chicken and it was delicious. It came with a salad, bread, and vegetables. Our server was wonderful and very attentive. I've had great breakfasts there before but their dinners are equally as good. I will definitely be back - soon!

We love the ice cream here. But we wish the young people serving would wear masks! it would make us more likely for a return visit, including a trip to try their breakfasts!
