North East of the border Food Trucks

Perusing the food court this past weekend at Boston's Snowport Holiday Market, I figured I’d picked the safest bet with this colorful food truck. Staff were friendly and happy to modify my meal. The veggie burrito I ordered was innocuous enough; it just could have been more boldly flavored. The plain wheat tortilla in which it was wrapped was served uncooked—I think quickly throwing it on the grill or in a panini press would have gone far in terms of enhancing taste. Rice made up most of the contents, with very few kidney beans scattered throughout. I discovered a tiny dollop of guac at the burrito’s bottom, along with a smattering of pico de Gallo (the tastiest addition in there, but too minuscule to impact overall flavor). Ultimately, it was a bland dish consisting mostly of wheat tortilla and rice.

This truck came to my place of work recently and service was fast and friendly. I got a Barbacoa beef burrito and while the burrito was on the simple side, it was really large and the beef was tender and delicious. It needed hot sauce which was happily provided. I have nothing to complain about! Don't let the bad reviews scare you off, give it a try and make your own decisions.

Menu said the quesadilla came with sour cream and pico de gallo. Mine was missing both. When I asked, they said they ran out. If you run out of condiments that are on the menu, you need to either remove them from the menu or tell people when that order. Letting them order without warning them is theft. It's a scam. And it's not ok.

This company doesn’t even deserve one star. Their food truck came to my office park today in Wakefield… 4 of us from my office (myself included) went to get tacos and burritos. We were so excited! We got tacos, 2 burritos and a burrito bowl. Got our food and went back to our office ro devour it! Upon opening our items, we were immediately disappointed. I purchased the bowl-there was hardly anything to it, other than raw onions and pickled onions. Both of which were not mentioned in the description posted on the truck. After picking them all out, I took a bite. It was alright, but not great. I chose the Carne Asada as my protein. It didn’t look right nor did it taste right. The bowl was also missing most of what was offered. I was starving and after paying $14 for practically no food, I ate it. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I regret it now. 3 out of the 4 of us have been beyond sick to our stomachs since consuming the food we were served today. And I’m sure we aren’t the only ones. Steer clear of this place!!!! Yikes!!!!

Super sloppy and hard to handle. Quite basic as compared to what you might expect from a decent food hall and for the price. Staff offered hot sauce which was nice, but would have led to further deterioration of the tacos’ already wet-tissue-like integrity

The food at this place is so bad, we ordered fish tacos and burrito and both were disgusting. NEOTB is below-food truck level garbage that has no business being in a high end food hall like this, with the prices to match. I complained to Hugh Street Food Hall and they never even responded.
