I am torn while writing this review. Staff was very nice but ultimately our breakfast was a total failure. 2 hour meal! Granted it was parents weekend at UofO so things were busy. Although there were open tables. We were told on the phone prior to arriving there was no wait for a table. Upon arrival 12 minutes later (at roughly 10:30) we were told there was no availability and they would seat us when a table opened. (Several tables were open with no one at them for 45 minutes.) It took 36 minutes for us to be seated, 7 minutes to even be addressed (we had to flag someone down), and we waited 50 minutes for food! My wife and daughter went across the street to get toast, ate, came back, and food still did not arrive. My Chilaquiles was a nice portion and tasted good, both my wife and daughter ordered the Avocado Toast which resembled an appetizer. It looked like it had a spoonful of avocado on toast points, the spring greens, as seen on their website, was actually parsley! I gave 2 stars for friendliness of the staff and the manager was nice and took both Avocado dishes off our bill. Final Thoughts: the kitchen seemed understaffed, the reservation system appeared to be a challenge. DO NOT walk in! Make a reservation or Do not go! Bar is for 21 and over ONLY!

Stop what you’re doing right now. I’m serious. This is a donut emergency. North Fork in Eugene serves complimentary cinnamon sugar donuts with a strawberry coulis at brunch. And if you don’t try them before they realize they can charge $8,000 for these things, you are out of your donut loving mind. First of all, our waitress was an absolute angel. She offered to bring us more donuts. I watched her deliver them to other tables and saw pure joy spread across people’s faces. The first bite, the steam, the little eyebrow lift of happiness, the slow chew that says, “Oh my gosh, what is this magic?” You could feel the love from across the restaurant. Here’s what we ordered: • Brunch burger (medium) • Kids breakfast with two extra eggs (over medium) • Shrimp and grits To drink, just a vanilla latte. Huge, fragrant, beautiful, and delicious. The kids breakfast was perfect. It comes with one egg, but I got extra for sharing, which was unnecessary because the portion was spot on for my five year old. She demolished the eggs but couldn’t finish the potatoes, bacon, or toast. The brunch burger was good. My husband wanted a little more salt and there wasn’t any on the table, but the fries were crispy and everything hit the spot. The shrimp and grits with sausage? Spicy, creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious. Perfect if you’re hungry or want to share. 10/10 recommend North Fork for brunch. The donuts alone are worth the trip. To the person who made the donuts and had the idea to make them complimentary…I’m naked under these clothes. *exaggerated wink*

We went because we had purchased their gift card from Costco and took our daughter who we were visiting. Really cool area, a bit out of the way though. We made a reservation and no wait for it when we arrived. Great beer on tap (one of our favs is Barley Brown IPA and rarely can find it). Our server was awesome and we took his recommendations on all the food and he was spot on. Had the seared salmon, seared chicken and steak sandwich. We were able to watch college football and they were great about switching tvs to different stations for us. We will definitely be back next time we visit her!

Aggressively mid food. I got the $9 chicken add on the salad and it was a grand sum of 91 grams of chicken. Fried pickles are fine I guess but clearly they don’t have a mastery of sauce. This is just a “modern” overpriced red robin honestly. I’m genuinely not sure the food is better than Red Robin either. Do not go here.

For a restaurant recently bought by a “Restaurant Group,” this place has gone downhill quick. North Fork has always been a great dining establishment with nice staff and a great cocktail menu. It’s clear the new owners plan to cut corners anywhere they can. Their fried items were different than other places and had great flavor. Now it’s just frozen bags of fries, Frickles, and breakfast potatoes. The Benedict was supposed to come with their rosemary focaccia. Instead, the ham/egg sat on top of a non-toasted half of an English muffin. They clearly don’t let their waitstaff know of the changes ahead of time either. How do you even consider serving that? It seems that every time I’ve been there this year, more and more frozen items get substituted in but that price stays the same. If you’re looking to have a great cocktail, this is the place! And the staff is really great! Food? You can take your chance.

My partner and I decided to come here for the first time as I've lived here for 11 years and I've been meaning to try it since I've heard amazing things about it. Well, I guess I should've tried it years ago because what we had tonight wasn't the best by any means. We got sat pretty quickly at a center table but then was served warm tap water with no ice and no lemon. Our server, Azalea, was pleasant and asked us about drinks and let us know we had about 2 minutes left of happy hour. I said that's fine but it was our first time there. We ordered 2 cocktails and a small plate of truffle fries for an appetizer. (Now those were great) My partner asked what the "specials consisted of" and she was knowledgeable about them and the prices. I had wanted the surf and turf and ordered it medium rare like I always do, and since NOTHING else came with it, I ordered a side of mashed potatoes. My partner ordered the special pasta of the night and added chicken ( She wasn't told that it was going to be a blackened chicken). When the food came, I had asked for steak sauce of any sort and was informed that they do not carry any in-house....I'm sorry...what?!? Ok, I will make due. I cut open my steak, and it's RARE, but at this moment, waiting almost 30 minutes after our appetizer, I was hungry and not going to wait any longer for my food to sit. The potatoes were bland, but the 5 shrimp that they put on the plate with some green sauce on it was okay. Everything had a smokey taste to it like it was sitting in a grill overnight. Oh and if you're looking for somewhere quiet to actually hear and talk to your friends or family...not the place. The music was loud.

To whoever at corporate thought changing the menu was a good idea, you boofed it. The new menu is a disaster. All the things that made this place special are gone. The breading for the frickles? Gone. The fried chicken that used that same perfect batter? Gone. The steak sandwich? Now it’s a pile of chopped, overcooked, chewy meat. You even axed the jalapeño ranch and that incredible house-made hot sauce.no more scratch kitchen. What used to be a reliable local favorite, the spot we’d brag about and bring friends from out of town to, is now just... depressing. I didn’t care if the food took an extra ten minutes before; it was worth every second. This time, we left legitimately bummed out, realizing we probably won’t be back. To be clear: this isn’t on the waitstaff, bar, or kitchen crew. They were great, as always. This disaster sits squarely on corporate’s shoulders. You took something great and made it bland, generic, and forgettable.

We made a reservation for thanksgiving day for our family that is coming together from several towns. Our reservation was taken and confirmed. The next day a manager called and stated that they had over booked and did not have room for us and they are canceling our reservation. He told us we would have to find somewhere else to have dinner. Saying you are sorry is good, but what are we supposed to do? He did not offer us any options. How does a computer allow you to over book when I was told while making the reservation that it was confirmed? Super unhappy and confused how this happens. This is poor customer service.
