Great Pizza Spots For A Nice Dinner & Date Night

"These days, dining near Lenox mall would classify as an adventurous date outing with the constant traffic, congested crowds, and damn near all of the Zone 2 police precinct on patrol. But if you're up for the thrill, North Italia at the east entrance of the mall is a fantastic place for an upscale pizza date night. Sit on the open air patio for top-notch people watching and views of the Lenox valet line, where you can play the special ATL game known as, “Guess Who’s in That Bentley.” Start your dinner with an Aperol Spritz, then move to some wine and pizza—we really dig the cheese and pepper intensity of the Cacio e Pepe pie, but there are no wrong choices here. The only other choice to make is whether you want to upgrade your pizza with their dipping sauce, which is a housemade ricotta dip topped with a Calabrian chili paste.  We say pass on the sauce as it’s just okay and focus on the pies. Everything was wonderful. Our waitress, Julissa was so pleasant and friendly throughout the entire experience! My daughter and I shared the meatballs and the truffle bread...delicious! I had the pork milanese, and it was also very tasty. My daughter ordered the braised short marsala...it looked delicious to me, but it didn't suit her. I wasn't expecting them to comp that meal because my daughter and I had already discussed a back up entree if she didn't like it. They removed that item from our receipt without us even asking...the manager said he wanted us to order what we would enjoy! I am looking forward to coming back to this location in the future!

Very elegant. Loved the dress attire of the staff. The whole team provided us with great care. Food was supper delicious. Felt like a home environment. Also has plenty of perks. The Mall is right next door. Great parking and a scenery exhibit. I loved everything about it.

We had an exceptional dining experience! Janice B, our server, was absolutely amazing! She was sweet, empathetic, and went above and beyond. Even when a little incident occurred, she handled it with professionalism and care. The food was incredible, and the entire staff, including the manager who stopped by to say hello, were friendly and attentive. We're so impressed! Five stars isn't enough – we'd give it ten stars if we could! If you're looking for top-notch service and delicious food, look no further. Janice B truly made our evening unforgettable.

Very authentic Italian restaurant as other reviews suggest; the food was great and fresh. Various menu items were heavy in butter/oil - take that into account. Reservations are available via Open Table, i was able to prevent a 15 minute wait through a reservation.

The food was ok. I don’t think it was great but it had potential. Our server was amazing Bryce! Attentive, gave good recommendations, and checked on us often.

We stopped by on a Friday for lunch while running some errands in the Buckhead area. I like the interior decor and the staff was very accommodating and helpful with my occasionally loud 4 year old 🤣. We enjoyed every single dish especially the buffalo chicken pizza and the beef pasta dish we tried. Good spot to refuel after a day of shopping and running errands.

The service was top notch but the food was okay. Regarding the food ,Too many sauces to cover the original taste of the food. The calamari didn't have any taste at all. They were very greasy and the salsa sauce was all you could taste. And in my opinion to combine salsa with calamari doesn't go together . The borata wasn't a borata. The squid pasta was with too much tomato sauce so you could barely feel the taste of the shrimps inside of it. Regarding the prices, in my opinion, they're a bit expensive.

Google
We ordered takeout and got the lasagna bianca. For $23 the portion was EXTREMELY small and did not resemble lasagna whatsoever. Maybe it's different in person, but I would not recommended ordering carryout from here.

Yelp
4 of us stopped in on a Tuesday night after flying in to Atlanta. Service was quick and they did a great job accommodating a food allergy in our group. We got their garlic read appetizer. It was good but wouldn't order it again. I ordered the White Lotus cocktail - amazing. I also ordered the squid ink pasta. It's a little on the spicy side but not too bad. The meal was delicious but disappointed in the amount of shrimp in the dish- there were only 2. I would definitely dine here again if in the area.

Yelp
We came here on a Thursday around 11:30am for the lunch menu for Buckhead Restaurant Week. When we entered the hostess was polite and provided all the menus and one specifically for restaurant week. The experience starting off was great. The server was attentive but not very knowledgeable about how restaurant week worked. Our appetizers arrived fairly quickly. We started with the cacio e pepe arancini which was excellent. So cheesy and gooey and delicious. The pesto aioli side condiment was really good too. The Sicilian meatballs were good and soft. The marinara the meatballs came in was great as well. The flavors were excellent. It took a while for our main entrees to arrive. Maybe 20-25 minutes or more and because this was lunch we were both hoping we could get back to the office in time by 1pm. After the server came by the table to refill our water, she asked if everything was fine as if she didn't understand that our entrees should have been in front of us at that point. After we brought that to her attention she went to the kitchen to check and behold our food was ready. The spicy rigatoni vodka pasta was delicious. It's oily so be careful if you're wearing light colored clothing. It's not spicy at all so for those people that don't like spice, there's barely any at all. The hot Italian Stromboli was good as well, but the rigatoni was definitely better. Even though the server had already asked us which menu we were ordering from and she understood that the meal would be $25/person (there were two of us so the check should be $50+tax) for the lunch restaurant week menu, she presented us with a $75 check as if it was correct and that didn't send off any red flags in her head. So I gave the check back to her and said this is restaurant week and we ordered from the restaurant week menu, why are you trying to charge us full price? She had to call over a manager or someone for help because even though restaurant week had been going on all week I guess they didn't know how to price it on the register machines. This whole ordeal was inconvenient and it made the server look like she didn't know what she was doing. All the food was great but the service became worse and worse as the experience went on.

Yelp
We showed up at North Italia around 5pm on a Saturday. The place was maybe two-thirds full, yet we were told there would be a 25 to 30 minute wait. The patio had only two tables occupied, and several booths inside were empty. I asked if the tables were reserved. The hostess assured me they were. Still, the place was not even close to full. Curious, I checked OpenTable while standing outside and found plenty of availability. I booked a 5:15pm reservation for three people, walked back in, and suddenly we had a table. We overheard the hostess chatting with someone I assume was the manager. Moments later, we were seated. She didn't look thrilled. Can't blame her. It's awkward getting caught in a lie. Even more frustrating, we watched other walk-ins get seated without reservations. And those "reserved" tables? Still empty when we left. The food was slightly better than average. The drinks were solid. Our server did a good job, even though he had to re-enter part of our order because it got lost the first time. The bathroom was another story. Napkins were scattered across the floor. A dirty mop sat in the corner. There was also a pile of napkins that someone clearly used to cover up vomit. Not exactly what you expect from a place with this kind of reputation. I had heard good things about North Italia. Unfortunately, this visit didn't live up to the hype and was more North of disappointing.

Yelp
Tasteless food , cheap ingredients. Ordered a Cesar salad and the lettuce was yellow , then ordered a pizza and was horrible tasteless cheese greasy and the pepperoni tasted horrible . I wouldn't recommend this place for Italian . Costco pizza is better than this .

Yelp
Came for brunch during Buckhead restaurant week $35 for 3 course lunch. The meatballs were really good, the spicy vodka pasta and the doughnuts. Although, we thought they would have different fillings they were all the same. The service was ok, looked for the waiter a few times and waited awhile for a mocktail. It was a cute restaurant with a chill ambiance ( this was during brunch/lunch) hours but there were gnats that seemed to come out of nowhere. I would go back to try dinner.

Yelp
Hungry for Italian and chose North Italia for it's convenient location and inviting atmosphere. We made the right choice and enjoyed a fantastic meal with excellent service. I had the Strozzapreti (first time) and it was fantastic, the chicken was tasty and the pasta was fresh.

Yelp
This place is great for cocktails and vibes. It's trendy and a fair choice for lunch or date night. I honestly prefer the non pasta dishes. They have much more flavor. The service is always spectacular!

Yelp
North Italia - Bold Flavors and Cozy Vibes Stopped in for dinner at North Italia, and it was mostly a hit! The garlic bread? Phenomenal. Perfectly crisp on the outside, buttery and flavorful on the inside. The eggplant parmesan appetizer was also fire--melty, hearty, and packed with flavor. There was another appetizer we tried (wish I caught the name) that was really good too--solid start all around. Now, the spicy broccoli... that thing came out swinging. Way too heavy-handed with the spice--felt like the whole spice cabinet did a trust fall into it. If you like heat, cool, but for me it was just over the top. The bolognese though? A total redemption arc. Rich, savory, comforting--ate the whole bowl and would order it again in a heartbeat. The atmosphere was warm and buzzing, and despite being busy, the service was efficient and attentive. The bill ran up a bit, but honestly, the flavors and portions made it worth it (mostly). Would definitely come back--just skipping the fire-breathing broccoli next time.

Yelp
Great seasoned Italian food. I love the bread the salad and the pizza. The service is great the light is perfect and they have a bar area which would serve as a great 1st date location food came out promptly . Open kitchen concept. Dunwoody area.

Yelp
4.2/5 Service: Came for a group outing and had a good time. We were seated quickly upon arrival and our waiter greeted us shortly after. Our waiters (one was training) were very attentive and even tried their best to accommodate my friend whose meal didn't come out right. Food: We got the white truffle garlic bread and the cacio e Pepe arancini. I honestly expected more flavor from the truffle garlic bread, it was just okay. But the arancini was really good, i would order it again. Everyone's meal came out fairly quick, pictured is the chicken parm that comes with pasta. It was very tasty and a large portion size, I was happy to have some leftovers. Ambiance: a great place for a date, bday dinner, or just to stop by alone or with friends. A fair amount of seating and it's by the mall so there's more than enough parking. Although, i saw the Perimeter is charging to park in certain areas now.

Yelp
Realllyyyyy wanted to like this place because the pictures of the food looked nice and the ambiance was good. However, I did not enjoy my experience here. Sat at the bar for happy hour (happy hour is bar only) and it took us AGES to get our food. We came at 515pm, our food was not even out by the end of happy hour. On top of that, the bartender and other waitresses kept coming over to repeatedly ask us what we've ordered. By the third time, it felt like they were asking to be insensitive. At one point, the waitress avoided eye contact with us because we had been waiting for at least forty five minutes. Everyone around us who had ordered similar had been served so I was confused. When the food finally did come, it was lukewarm as if it had been sitting there for as long as we had been waiting. The meatballs were under seasoned and bland. The pizza was decent but does NOT reheat nicely so don't even bother taking to go. Overall, mid service and food quality.

Yelp
Came in here on a Thursday night and there wasn't many people there at all. We decided to sit at the bar. The place is cute and intimate but not too fancy as it is connected to Lenox mall. I ordered the red sangria and my best friend ordered a glass of wine. We started off with a bread appetizer and also the burrata appetizer and both were delicious. The balsamic glaze on the bread service is perfectly sweet and tart. The burrata has very unique flavors with the poached pear and pistachio crumble but honestly anything with burrata is delicious to me. For our entrees, I ordered the spicy rigatoni vodka pasta and my friend ordered the bolognese. My pasta was delicious with the perfect amount of spice and very flavorful. It was a bit salty but I like salt so I wasn't mad at it. We also ordered espresso martinis with baileys for dessert which was a nice sweet treat. We also ordered the seasonal butter cake which had a pumpkin theme but we didn't really enjoy it so they ended up removing it from our bill. Overall it was a great experience and the bartenders were very friendly and were knowledgeable about the menu. I'd definitely return!

Yelp
I love Italian food and I feel like North Italia has pretty great Italian food!!! Parking can be difficult to find as it shares the parking lot with Lenox Square. There is also an intimate atmosphere inside the restaurant and the service is good! I always get the Chicken Pesto and it is superb. I love pesto sauce and this place does a great job at making sure that the pesto sauce is not too overpowering in the pasta. The portion is also massive so I get to go home with leftovers a lot of times. I have also tried their White Truffle Garlic Bread and it was amazing! Every time I took a bite, it left me wanting more. I have been to North Italia in their other locations and it never seems to miss. I think that this is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a solid Italian spot.

Yelp
This is an Italian spot inside of the mall area. So you are going to be parking in the mall parking lot (free) but just be aware of the crowd. This has an indoor and outdoor area. The outdoor area is facing the mall parking lot so don't expect major fires but if it's nice out it would be good to people watch. The staff was very friendly and super cool. My waitress (Essence) offered to explain anything on the menu and gave me her suggestions as well. The bar is a nice sized bar with plenty of space. Has a few TVs as well but don't expect it to be a sport bar. They have music playing in the background so it's a nice vibe. Calamari fritti - really good and cooked to a good crisp! The marinara was good, but the other sauce I wasn't really sure what it was but I mixed that with the marinara and it came out great. White truffle garlic bread - Now the bread was solid as well. It had really great presentation. Cheese everywhere, a nice garlic flavor, cooked crispy but not too crispy where it cuts your mouth. It was really good as well and I would definitely come back for this. Bolognese - I'll see this one, it said it's their house special on the menu but I feel like a lot of people would say that. But no, this was definitely something to come back for! I finished the bowl and I still want more even though I don't need to eat anymore LOL. It came with some Palm and some red pepper flakes but I don't use the red pepper because it was already perfectly spiced and seasoned to perfection. I did dump the entire cup of Parmesan cheese though LOL. But this one here, this one was an absolute winter. The meat sauce was super flavorful, noodles were okay, well cooked and tender. Everything about this was right! The sauce was hittin. Spicy rigatoni vodka - this was good, if you like a sweet tang in a pasta dish. I added the red pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese, and the flakes gave it a hell of a kick to the sweetness. There are pieces of meat in the dish and they were pretty savory (even though I wish it had more lol). But it was a pretty good dish. So overall, I see no flaws in this place. If they have a good happy hour they're going to see me a lot more often LOL

Yelp
We walked here, so I don't know what the parking was like. The food here looked better than any of it tasted. We had to send multiple things back because everything was so salty or so smoky that we simply could not eat it at all. The girl then charged us for something that we sent back by accident Ayven so rather than take it off our check we got charge twice. They did not do very good job keeping our drinks filled or asking if we want to refills. Nor did they even offer us any desserts. Which is probably fine because because the food was just not good here at all. Huge disappointment. The ambience was nice though it was bright and everything looked very pretty. So for that I think is great for the atmosphere for everything else. Unfortunate that it was what it was.

Yelp
Found this restaurant on Yelp! To my surprise it was at the mall. I enjoyed sitting outside having dinner. The complementary bread was fresh and nutty. But that garlic truffle bread was earth shaking. Goodness! If you have an opportunity to try this place. Service took a while but ultimately it was worth it.

Yelp
This restaurant deserves 5 stars because everything I have had has met or exceeded my expectations. The servers are friendly and efficient. The bartenders and kitchen are consistent. I've been here a few times now and find myself craving it. The white lotus is refreshing, but if you're looking to jazz up your time, try the espresso martini. They make a really great one. Don't forget to have some bread, if you're drinking. I recommend the grilled bread with good olive oil for a light option, but the white truffle bread is also great. The white truffle bread is fluffy with a very light crisp. The grilled bread is crispier and less cheesy. For dinner, I've tried the spicy rigatoni (delicious x10!) and 2 pizzas. The Spicy Meatball pizza is really good, as well as The Pig. The Pig Pizza has a lot of meat, so I prefer the meatball one. Both are great and I hope to try a different one soon! Make sure you put North Italia in your rotation. It makes a great semi-romantic dinner spot. The patio can be really gorgeous and pleasant.

Yelp
The chicken pesto had a good flavor and it was pretty filling. Our waitress was very nice and friendly.

Yelp
The food was great and the service was amazing. I've been to the North Italia in Colorado and remember really liking it so when I saw there was a location in Buckhead I immediately knew where I was going for dinner. The Spicy Rigatoni Vodka was awesome. Such a great dish! It's somewhat simple but the taste really packs a punch. The server was amazing, very nice and attentive and was a great overall experience.

Yelp
I was visiting my sister in Atlanta. We decided to come here for dinner on a Thursday night. It was fairly crowded, and there was plenty of outdoor seating. Our waitress (I forgot her name) was great! The customer service was excellent. Now onto the food, we ordered: Bread with olive oil- we ordered this as an appetizer. It was $8 for 4 pieces of bread, swimming in a plate of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. This is very overpriced, IMO. On the menu it said it was made with "good olive oil," which I couldn't taste because there was so much balsamic vinegar mixed in. Personally, I felt the description of this dish should include balsamic vinegar, since that's most of what I tasted. Did not enjoy this, very overpriced, would not order again. 2/10 A glass of Montepulciano D'Abruzzo- good red wine, enjoyed. 8/10 Lumache with fennel sausage and cream sauce- this was a weekly special dish. Overall, it was fine, but not the best pasta I've ever had. 6.5/10. Dark chocolate budino- me and my sister originally wanted to order their seasonal pumpkin praline cake for dessert, but unfortunately they were out of it, which was disappointing. Instead we decided on the budino, which was a dark chocolate pudding with amarena cherries, chocolate crunchies, and a pine nut cookie. It was good. 7/10. My sister ordered the pork Milanese, which she said was dry, and for almost $30 and no side included, we thought was overpriced. Overall, nothing I ate was bad, but nothing wowed me either, and for the quality and portions it was overpriced. Coming from the Northeast, where there is a plethora of good Italian food, it definitely didn't compare. The best part of the meal was the service. I don't think I would come back, unfortunately.

Yelp
This restaurant has been on my happy hour list for almost a year. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. We started with a glass of white wine and unfortunately, it took an hour after that to get the pizza and meatballs that we ordered. Ten times we were asked what we ordered, leading us to believe our order was never put in. An hour later, and 30 minutes after the end of happy hour, we finally got our food and it was decent. The food was not cold and under seasoned. The restaurant had a nice ambiance but being ignored by the wait staff/ only being addressed when being asked "what did you order again" contributed to a less than ideal experience.

Yelp
This was my first time at North Italia. I went for my birthday dinner. There were 8 of us total in our entire party. We made a reservation (highly recommended.) I have heard good things about this place so I decided to finally check it out. The restaurant is located right next to Lenox Mall, so there is plenty of parking. You can valet or self-park. I just self-parked, because why pay for parking when you don't need too? Our table got the bread and calamari to share. I am not a big fan of calamari, but the people in our party that did like it, they said it was pretty good. The bread was good as well, but nothing too special. For my main dish, I got the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka (SRV.) My fiancé got the chicken pesto. We also shared a side of the spicy broccolini. The SRV was so so so SO good. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the Italian sausage in there was so flavorful. The whole dish was an 11/10 for me. This was some of the best SRV I have ever had. I was upset I had no more to take home, because I devoured the whole thing so fast. Highly recommend getting the spicy rigatoni vodka! I tried the chicken pesto dish and it was good, but I am not the biggest fan of pesto. My fiancé loved it though. The spicy broccolini we got packed quite a punch, so be prepared for that. All of our food was really good! One thing that I was disappointed with was the fact that they were out of a few things. We wanted to try the arancini but the server said they didn't have that anymore. He also suggested a bottle to us, but come to find out, they were out of that as well. A little frustrating to see that the restaurant was just out of a few things. If you are out of something, train your server to not have them recommend it to anyone. We ended up getting another bottle of red. Overall, I would still come back to North Italia. The food is all very good and the service was very good (for the most part.)

Yelp
I had eaten at a North Italia in another city so decided to give this a try for a business dinner. Be aware it is rather noisy and this particular evening had families with crying children. The food and service made up for it. We started with zuppa chips that had the best sauce on the side. I ordered grilled branzino that was delicious and plated beautifully. My colleagues ordered pasta. Parking is a little challenging because restaurant is part of Lenox Square mall. Decor is understated.

Yelp
Great food. Unique menu. Excellent service. Easy parking. Relaxed atmosphere. It is a must try restaurant if you are looking for a great experience

Yelp
On this lovely spring evening I had the pleasure of sitting on the patio sipping the new Italian spritz, how I always want my spritz to taste moving forward, and a delicious chicken pesto pizza. (I added the house made ricotta to it!) the real star of the show was my server Bryce! Friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, everything you could want in a server.if I find myself by Lenox square in the future I would come back to north italia and ask for him!
google avatar

Trey H.

Yelp
Solid Italian a step above the norm. The pasta tastes freshly made, not dried, which is a non-negotiable anytime we pay to eat pasta outside of home. Common sense, but not as common as one would assume. If I had not any exposure to even better authentic Italian food, I would give 5 stars, however I have :) One thing I love about this restaurant is that the menu descriptions reflect exactly what you see on your plate, and the flavors you will taste. I've enjoyed everything I order each time we return. Great people watching from the bar and patio as well!

Yelp
I went for lunch a couple days ago, and enjoyed the seasonal vegetable salad with chicken. It was fresh and delicious and the dressing was delectable! I highly recommend if you're looking for a healthy option.

Yelp
The food was good, not the best italian i've had but it was pretty good. The garlic bread was the best food we had. I had the eggplant parm, which was ehh, 5/10. The people I was with had the mushroom pizza (7/10) and some sort of pasta with meat, i believe a white sauce lasagna. I'm vegetarian so i didnt try the meat but the pasta was alright (6.5/10). The restaurant is pretty. We sat outside and it was nice. Our server was also super nice. I'd come back. :)

Yelp
My first experience was during Buckhead restaurant week. Located in Lenox Mall, so parking was a lil challenge. The ambiance was nice, good vibes, helpful staff. I can't recall our server's name but he was ok. There were a couple of hiccups but we rolled with them and they were resolved. I ordered a pesto pasta dish that has zero flavor even with all the sauce. I was disappointed so I ordered one of the price fixe desserts and again I was disappointed. My friends were a mix on their meals with hits and misses. Honestly only 2 things I really enjoyed were the grilled bread with the sweetest and best balsamic vinegar ever and the tiramisu...

Yelp
One of - or probably the BEST Italian food you'll find in Atlanta/Metro Atlanta! If you go here, you HAVE to try the truffle garlic bread (this is coming from someone who always hated truffle). The spicy Rigotoni Pasta is my FAVORITE pasta they serve! It has the perfect amount of spice, creaminess, and meat mixed with some of the freshest pasta you'll find at a restaurant! I don't think you'll be disappointed with any dish you order here; rather it's an appetizer, dessert, or your meal! I feel like North Italia has some of the best service you'll receive at an Atlanta/Metro Atlanta restaurant! We had Bryce as our waiter and he was phenomenal. Very attentive, fun, and knowledgeable of the menu! He brought great energy as he was serving us! Overall, the restaurant is very clean! I enjoy how they have a semi open kitchen (open as in you can see through their glass windows) when the chefs are cooking! You can see first hand the fresh pasta they are using for their dishes. They are very precise with what they serve and how they serve you at North Italia! I've NEVER had to wait long (or even at all) when I come which means they are also very efficient with their work! PARKING: This location is attached to the Lennox Mall/right next to the Apple Store. There are plenty of parking spaces, however, it can get really crowded during peak days & hours! overall, 10/10 recommend North Italia

Monika S.

Yelp
Honestly, not worth the money. The Margherita pizza is spicy (and not good)?? The pasta is decent. The cheesy bread isn't good. The hazelnut torte which I was excited about was burnt. It's subpar food - I wouldn't ever go back, but it's not terrible.

Yelp
Service was really bad. We waited more than an hour for the food.,waitress was very rude after we complained about the food. The manager didn't listen to us and was very short with us. Not recommend

Yelp
This is my second time at North Italia within two weeks (I had never been prior) We had the Garlic truffle bread, and it was good! I stuck with the non- truffle pieces towards the bottom. The cold garlic butter would be better served on the side. The men also had the shrimp scampi and they tore it up and said the flavoring of the sauce was great! I had the ragu meatball pasta and it was very good. I don't like cheese, so got it without and it was very tasty. My fiancée tried the Spicy vodka pasta and it was also delicious! The flavors were great and it did exactly what it is meant to do! My parents both got the chicken Parmesan and have compliments to chicken multiple times. They said the Alfredo did lack in some flavor but overall very good. Bryce our server was very friendly (so happened to have him both times) and full of great recommendation's. He deserves all 5 stars! For dessert we had the bombolini's and Butter pecan ice cream. Both were super tasty and very fresh. The Bombilini's definitely took home the highest award, its sweet- lemon & strawberry sauce served warmed was just what we needed to end the night!

Yelp
This place is magic! I typically come in later in the evening #NightOwl and the staff are always still amazingly kind, upbeat, and just lovely. But I HAVE to make special mention of my FAVORITE server, KEVIN : He's beyond amazing in his technique, menu knowledge /making suggestions, and timing. But, his MEMORY for past patrons is unbelievable! (It's been 6 1/2 months since my last visit, and he remembered what I ordered AND my drink AND asked about my sons!! #Crazy) If you're lucky enough to get one of his tables, you'll be taken care of, for sure!! Anyway, last night was my usual ice-cold Limoncello-gin martini (divine!) and the Spicy Vodka Rigatoni (to die for! No leftovers!) My date ordered the Bolognese, which is NoRTH ITALIA's house speciality, and it was delicious. Then, out came a Blackberry (cheesecake?) (Two drinks in by that time...I wasn't paying much attention ) and OMG!! I only THOUGHT I was too full for dessert!! But I have a special weakness for blackberry desserts - my father, who has been gone 6 years now, used to pick them out back and make jars and jars of homemade Blackberry Preserves (with seeds! Must. Have. Seeds!!), so this was a beautiful, sweet ending to an absolutely wonderful evening at one of the most unpretentious upscale restaurants with spot-on service and delectable food! I look forward to my next visit! Grazie, NoRTH ITALIA!

Yelp
For my first North Italia visit, I went with the basics and ordered the Margherita pizza. The pizza was large but the perfect size for my appetite. The Neapolitan-style crust was baked perfectly. It was on the thinner side yet still sturdy enough to allow the slices to be picked up. The sauce was rich and robust with a hint of sweetness. It balanced well with the slices of mozzarella cheese. The basil and drizzle of olive oil added two more layers of deliciousness to the overall flavor profile. The service was great and I liked the intimate and upscale ambiance and decor. I hope I can return soon to explore more of the menu.

Yelp
Everything about my visit was amazing. I have been wanting to try them since they opened but could never find the time. After a day of shopping i know i needed dinner so i made the time this day. Since i was dining by myself I sat at the bar for dinner. I enjoyed a perfectly crafted lemon drop made with tequila, the kale salad, and the squid ink tonnarelli. Each dish was a hit! I was pleased with my food and service. I can't wait to return!

Yelp
The restaurant made accommodations for our luggage and they were really nice about taking care of us. The service was good. The food was OK. I didn't really think it was such a big deal, but it wasn't terrible. I definitely will return because of the service and ambience is great.

Yelp
I love stopping by North Italia for lunch or dinner after a day of shopping at Lenox. It's a convenient location with patio seating. Our server was so kind and attentive making suggestions for food options. My friend and I chose to both go with the roasted salmon, medium well blackened and it was so delicious I considered going right back for more.

Yelp
This is by far my favorite restaurant in Georgia. Every time I walk in, I get a loving "whoosh" of smiles and greetings from the Host stand. I am always acknowledged and truly made to feel like i'm welcome there! it's just a lovely / warm experience overall. The food is delicious, to say the least! The cocktail menu varies within the seasons, but they're all a great compliment to the meals. The entire ambiance of North Italia reminds me of the cozy, loving feeling of being in your mom's kitchen, waiting for your meals to come out so you can eat together. (Spoiler alert: The kitchen is an open kitchen that you get to view through glass. super cool)

Yelp
Tried North for the first time in Austin and absolutely loved their pastas so I was so excited to see they had Atlanta locations! Consistently one of my favorite places to get vodka sauce pasta (spicy rigatoni) and the shrimp scampi is so juicy and buttery.

Yelp
Love this place. The best option located directly in the mall (or attached to it) if you're looking for less of a big chain type environment. - next to the Apple Store theres plenty of parking options. Def has the highest end feel of any of the options in/at the mall. Great atmosphere. Food is always good and it generally comes out quickly. Pros: -Never really had bad food here. Some of the sides can feel a bit lazy but they're still good. Just basic and not always fresh (this was the case in our last visit-main was great but the side was clearly not fresh or even warm. It was just a bitter pasta with parm on it as well which is underwhelming to begin with so it should at least be fresh) -Easy if you get a reservation -Lots of parking close by if just stopping in for a meal + close to the valet if that's your thing -I've never had a bad cocktail when we are drinking. They are all good and made quickly -Great atmosphere -When not busy (say a random week night - we were last there on a Monday evening and had a reservation but did not need one) they are fast and you don't necessarily need a reservation. -They have a great patio. It is covered but it's still a good one - especially when it's raining or extremely sunny in the hot summer months. They also have high tops that are right on the edge of there patio but not quite there if you want to be outside but still want the AC. (also if you want or ned a little more light) Cons: -Can be very busy especially Friday-Sunday. I would recommend getting a reservation. -While the food is good and constant in my experience, it isn't wow. Like it's a great restaurant when compared with it's counterparts, Cheesecake Factory and CPK (I can't speck to True Food Kitchen as I have never been there) -Can be very loud -The indoor dining room is really dark all day and night. It feels like they need more lighting as it's no longer a new spot and their clientele is likely to include older people who may have a hard time with that (or if you are like me, and just don't like feeling like you are eating in the dark...) - Not the biggest menu ever. -Staff can be a bit dismissive because they are generally a busy spot. Especially once you tell them you aren't ordering any drinks...Every time we have gone and planned to have a sober night, they service hasn't been as attentive as the visits when we have order drinks. -If seated at a high top the tables are small, and the space is tight. So if you have a bag that you don't want on the floor, you have to have it in the table eating up space. There are no piece or bag hooks (so if you have shopping bags good luck) It gets added stars for simply being Berger and more interesting/prettier than the other options located at Lenox.

Yelp
Stopped in for a salad and a pie while staying at the Whitley...easy walking distance. The simple salad contained cold, crisp greens, lots of pine nuts and Gorgonzola and a variety of tomatoes...red, yellow and purple! The margarita pizza had a thin crust, crispy along the edge and soft in the middle...but firm enough to support the sweet sauce and ample cheese. The dining room was busy but not noisy and my waitress was attentive throughout my visit!

Yelp
Tried this restaurant twice. Both times service was poor and incredibly slow at the bar. Both times I needed to ask for clean wine glasses. First time, food was great. Second time was disappointing. I asked for soup and bartender replied they were out. 15 minutes later she served soup to a customer seated after meals . I ordered the same dish as before and it tasted like a completely different dish second time (worse). It's a crap shoot for food and a guarantee for bad service.

Yelp
A great spot for delicious italian food! When I'm craving Italian for lunch, this is my go to. Chic and pretty location. The patio is my favorite for views of Buckhead and to see the lively atmosphere. I always enjoy my meals here. And the drinks are also amazing. Can't go wrong!

Yelp
I've dined here many times and never thought of ordering their pizza. Wow - the spicy meatball pie is amazing.

Yelp
I work in Neiman Marcus , so I placed a carry out order on a rainy day. The order was delivered via DoorDash. Unfortunately, the person answering the phone, possibly the hostess was clueless about DoorDash, but was still able to facilitate making sure that the address was properly added, so that it came on time. I chose a pasta dish with brisket! it was absolutely amazing! I will definitely have that again. Upon receiving my order, I realize that they forgot my lemonade. When I called and associated ran it down to the store before I could even think about being thirsty. Great customer service! Day I will dine in the restaurant, but this is probably the first carryout experience. I've had in a very long time!!

Yelp
First time eating here at the Atlanta location, but my first time eating here overall was last month at the Miami-Brickell location. This place is good for lunch and I had the arugula and avocado salad and asked the waitress to add some grilled chicken. This was one of the better salads I've had and I will certainly be making this at home!

Yelp
So after the 40 minute fail at the other restaurant, wandered over here. Immediately greeted enthusiastically and shown to a prime people watching table. Staff was impressive -- knew their menu and able to make some recommendations based on my description of what I wanted to eat. And prompt. So bonus points! Ordered the Zucca chips - fried zucchini - which I loved since my childhood living in Greece. Chef's special pizza was a hit and sweet - and did it ever deliver! You bet!! So great atmosphere, great service and great food. Definitely worked my way to my heart via my stomach on this Valentine's Day!
