Downtown Italian Restaurant North Italia Is Now Open - Eater Austin

"The second location of Drake-approved Italian restaurant North Italia opens in downtown Austin today. Located at 500 West 2nd Street, the chain from Fox Restaurant Concepts is right next to sister restaurant Flower Child along the up-and-coming 2nd Street culinary corridor. The menus are fairly similar, featuring pizza, pasta, and other Italian dishes in a contemporary setting. Both locations of North boast of ample patio space, and the downtown location also has a notable mural by local artist Roshi K covering one wall. North is particularly known for its happy hour, which features a bottle of wine and a pizza or chef’s board for $20. The downtown location also features six hours of brunch on the weekends (something the Domain location does not offer), from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m." - Erin Russell

Google
Every North Italia I’ve visited, I’ve loved, and this location is no different. This location is in walking distance of the library and a few other places. I enjoyed everything I ordered, and tried the asparagus for the first time (which is also good). I prefer north Italia over the super “fancy” Italian places I’ve had. I’ve had their calamari, different pastas and pizza, everything spot on. The service is also really good too and each staff member is great!

Google
Celebrated my friend’s birthday here and it’s a good experience. We just walk-in without reservation and got seated immediately. The food was good. Calamari and the shrimp scampi are good as well as the chicken pesto🤌🏼✨ Although we didn’t like the pizza that we got i think it’s just too salty tbh. But overall, good dinner and happy tummy💖

Google
Amazing place... Outstanding food and service. Thank you Andy R. For accommodating our party...we had some food allergies and he made sure we could substitute and make our experience exceptional. Would highly recommend for any event. Price is great for the amazing food.

Google
This place is for sure one of my favourite places in the city! I’ve been there a few times and every single dish is worth trying. I personally recommend the pesto pasta and the lasagna. And their desserts are also amazing!!

Google
North Italia downtown- great time and delicious food. Anytime there’s risotto, I have to get it, so I did. So tasty. Thanks to Brittany for the great recommendations; you’re right the bruschetta was delicious.

Google
It was busy and lively when we dined here. The food was really good. We were able to share everything. My favorite part was their dessert.

Google
6.5/10. Good Italian food, decent service, was craving red wine and pasta and it did the trick.

Yelp
We decided to eat here prior to our concert. The restaurant itself is very nice and has a few seats outdoors in case you want to deal with the heat. We ordered the Prosciutto Bruschetta and Cacio E Pepe Arincini.. both were delicious! The service was excellent and I couldn't be happier with my friend suggesting this restaurant.

Yelp
Just went in for a simple salad and the meatball appetizer. Both were great as usual. The server gave me some ciabatta bread, which went well with both items. For dessert, I had the cookies & cream gelato, which was a nice little finishing touch. I had iced tea with my lite meal and everything was excellent. Service was great too.

Yelp
This was a solid 4 . It was a rainy day in Austin when I decided to visit this location. I had made a reservation, but likely didn't need one as it was pretty empty when I arrived. The host took awhile to greet me as she was on the phone, so I was understanding. Once seated, I was greeted by my waitress (Edith). She was really helpful, walked me through the menu and the day's specials. For dinner, I started with the grilled bread and olive oil. Wasn't quite what I was expecting. I thought it would be bread that you dip into olive oil; but rather it was drizzled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It was tasty, but again, not quite what I thought it would be. For my main, I ordered the Chicken Pesto. Mmmm!!! SO good! I'm a big fan of pesto and this dish definitely delivered. Overall, I enjoyed my dinner. The music was nice, it did start to pick up after a while. My waitress was terrific, checked on me often! If I lived in Austin, I could see myself making this a regular Italian spot!

Yelp
Amazing food, beverages and service. I cannot recommend the spicy rigatoni vodka pasta and white truffle bread more, so good! This restaurant location offers a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. I have been several times and have success getting seated quickly as a walk-in. They also feature great happy hour deals. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Actually, I pulled my phone out at North Italia to take some photos for my review only to discover my week old phone screen cracked over the camera. The crowd was lively but not noisy. The staff was pleasant and attentive. I ordered the braised short rib, and it was excellent. Would definitely eat this again, but I want to try so much more on this menu. Many of the items we saw delivered to neighboring tables made us wish we'd gotten other items, too. I still made a good choice. My wife had a Caesar salad that was too much to eat. That's the good. The bad is that after her leftovers were boxed up to take home, she left it on the table. We didn't realize it till we were home an hour away. The better is that 2 days later, I drove there to get her another salad. She was so happy. The phone is repaired, so pics will accompany the next review whenever we come back!!

Yelp
Great service and great pasta! This place is nice and the food was excellent. We both tried the house special bolognese. Portion size was decent but we didn't have any leftovers! I was a little disappointed with their dessert options but it was not a deal breaker.

Yelp
We stopped by North Italia for dinner. I sipped on a Veni Vidi Vici while I waited for my food. I love Japanese whisky plus this drink was bright and refreshing like a classic whisky sour. Our food was delicious! I had the Tuscan kale salad with chicken. The kale was clearly massaged till tender and the charred grapes and crisp apples added a unique variety of textures. I also grabbed a sample of my fiancé's chicken pesto pasta. I just love basil and roasted pine nuts. Overall a great dining experience. I can't remember our waitress' name but she was a sweetheart. This location is so beautiful and I can't wait to come back.

Yelp
We came here for a quick dinner with no reservation. We were seated pretty quickly and our waiter was with us within 3 min of being seated. Our waiter informed us that they were in the midst of a menu change and made sure to highlight the new dishes walking us through each one. The food here is absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked very well and we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of seasoning present. The gnocchi was a bit rich for my taste, but was cooked well nonetheless. The place itself it pretty cute and very large with plenty of seating options both indoors and out.
google avatar

Vivian M.

Yelp
We were seated quickly, our waiter was friendly and fast. But unfortunately the salads we ordered were disgusting. I finished maybe a few bites of mine and I still paid full price. The pasta was decent. The place is beautiful inside and outside. Highly recommend not getting a salad.

Yelp
North Italia never seems to disappoint. The food is consistent at every location I've been to this time I have a squid ink pasta. This was a recommendation of the waiter, who is super friendly.

Yelp
I came here for happy hour which is Monday through Thursday 3pm-6pm, I wanted to try the Bottle and Board deal which is Pizza or charcuterie board and a bottle of wine for roughly $38 which is a great deal! The way it is listed is kind of misleading because it is written as if you get all 3 in the bundle. I loved the pizza Margherita, (also ordered the Chefs board and a bottle of red wine!) The pizza was fresh and delicious. I wish the chefs board bread would have came out fresh and had crackers instead of thick bread. The cheeses weren't good either. The service was very attentive and timely! The ambiance is the real winner here, it was decorated gorgeously. I would say beware of the parking downtown. Parking is hard to find and the valet is sketchy and not run by North Italia. I ended up parking in the street.

Yelp
TRUFFLE GARLIC BREAD -- order and you won't be disappointed! Dinner was great too but we really come here for that appetizer if we're being honest. Nice location in downtown Austin and we were able to get in without a reservation.

Yelp
I was visiting a friend in Austin and he recommended this spot as he frequents with his colleagues pretty often. I was worried because Italian food is usually a bit heavy for me, but I'm so glad we stopped by! We arrived around noon on a Friday. It was super hot out so luckily they had indoor seating. It was pretty busy inside but we were seated fairly quickly. We were greeted right away and was set up with drinks. We ordered the kale salad, calamari, and two pasta dishes. The salad was DELICIOUS. it was so fresh, tasty, and refreshing. Perfect for lunch. The calamari was perfectly crisp, a great pairing with our salads. As for the pasta, YUMM. It was a decent sized portion and was so tasty! There wasn't too much short rib, but that's okay. The taste of both pasta dishes and hit the spot, and all of our dishes paired well together. The food came out so fast, and our wonderful server made the experience that much better. Id love to return when I visit Austin again!

Yelp
This has got to be my all time fav restaurant. First time having it was a few years back while visiting Austin. And now back again for good vibes and amazing food. Also, our server Brianna was super friendly and made us feel so welcome. Loved her recommendations and good energy!

Yelp
Fresh and tasty dishes but the food took a really long time to get to our table!!! I don't think it was our server's fault - he was attentive and friendly. Their kitchen must have been backed up. We were seated at 130pm and didn't get to eat until 230pm. We were starving by that time. Fun mural inside the restaurant! Love the vibe in this restaurant - I really enjoy their outdoor area. Good spot for people watching and enjoying this gorgeous fall weather!

Yelp
This is a review I truly regret having to write. The food the last several times at this location has been less than satisfactory. It took multiple failures for me to give them this rating. I will address the most current failure that occurred this past Friday evening. First off, we had made this reservation a couple of months out because we were going to a show afterwards. Via our OpenTable reservation, we had requested a booth. When we got there, we were escorted to a tiny two top table squished between two 4 top tables on the back wall. There was barely any room to squeeze in and out without bumping the neighboring table, and I am a small person. I let the hostess know that we had requested a booth with our reservation, which was made a couple of months ago, and she just said "sorry". Okay, whatever. We started with an order of meatballs. They literally came out cold, and without any marinara. We have been ordering these for years and I've never seen them sauceless like this. We did not mention the temperature of the meatballs to the server, but asked if we could please have a side of the marinara, since there was virtually no marinara as listed on the menu and experienced for many years. He said sure, but there would be an up charge. What??! At this point we did not even mention the temperature of the meatballs, hoping that the hot marinara would help, but no, it was barely lukewarm. Next came the entrées. The salmon, which had been ordered, medium, was well done, burned on both sides, and dry as a bone. The broccolini that came with it was in huge stalks instead of single or double thin spears, and was too tough to cut, even with a knife. The other entrée was also a burned, overdone, dry, tough piece of short rib. This is another entrée that we have been ordering for years. A favorite. This was not an isolated incident. I waited at least three or four visits with bad experiences to adjust my star rating from 5 to 2. We are very sad to say that we will not be eating at this North location anymore.

Yelp
Got the Beef Tenderloin Marsala and it was really good. Tenderloin was juicy, risotto was creamy and flavorful, crispy and nutty brussel sprouts.

David S.

Yelp
Worst experience ever. Order Salomon and Brandon after 45 min they told us they didn't have it. The manager didn't care. I would never ever come back to this chain restaurant again. I don't recommend it at all.

Yelp
After getting through a little confusion about the wait time (sitting inside or outside). Everything else went as smooth as expected. We had a large party of people so there was a little wait while they prepared our table. Our waiter was incredible and he really worked hard keeping everyone taken care of, glasses full and all request were satisfied. I wish I remembered his name because I'd love to give him a shout out because he really was AMAZING. Everything that we ordered was absolutely amazing and this is the kind of quality restaurant that I enjoy visiting. The found was cooked to perfection, even the ones that made special request were surprised at the amount of detail that was given to every request. They have a great menu to choose from and I have no doubt that everything will be cooked to perfection, just as every entrée that we ordered. The restaurant was nicely arranged with great space and decorated very nicely. We ordered: Calamari - cooked very nicely and the side pickled vegetable arrangement was tasty too. White Truffle Garlic Bread was absolutely delightful (crunchy, buttery, cheesy, with great seasoning), our party could not get enough of this and we kept ordering more. Sicilian Margarita was very refreshing Squid Ink Tonnarelli was amazing fresh and extremely delicious with calamari and shrimp. Bolognese was okay - nothing exciting about it Roasted Salmon with added shrimp with a cream sauce. It was cooked perfectly and was amazing tasting dish and visually tantalizing This was an amazing experience with wait staff, drinks, entree's and ambiance... definitely looking forward to returning and having some more great Italian food.

Yelp
This is a nice spot to get lunch or dinner! I really enjoyed my squid ink pasta (although it was a little salty). I really liked the meatballs for apps! The ambiance is very nice here so definitely good for dates, night out with the girls or big groups!

Yelp
North Italia on 2nd St. downtown Austin is a fantastic spot for Italian cuisine. The pizza selections are a standout, and I highly recommend trying one during your visit. The overall dining experience, coupled with the inviting ambiance, positions North Italia as a go-to destination. If you're in the mood for delicious food and a great atmosphere, this spot won't disappoint! I rated North Italia on 2nd St. downtown Austin 4 stars, and while it's a fantastic spot for delicious Italian food, I want to be honest - it didn't quite secure the top spot as my favorite Italian place in Austin. Nonetheless, the pizza selections and overall dining experience make it a solid choice for those craving authentic Italian flavors.

Yelp
This was our second time to the restaurant. The food and service was again wonderful. I'm not sure if it was cooler outside than it was inside. The heat made it almost unbearable. In stead of staying longer and having a second drink, we decided to leave. The wait staff had sweat dripping off their faces. When I ask about the air, I was told they can't change the air to be cooler? I hope they change the policy.....Summer is coming!

Yelp
I've been to North Italia before in Houston but I decided to meet up with a friend for lunch here on a Wednesday. We walked in and there was a huge lack of servers but a ton of tables open. We were told we would have to wait 15 minutes so we stood outside. A couple minutes later, we were told they had a high-top available if we were interested and of course we were. My favorite part of North Italia is their iced tea. Oh my word. My brother has even started to bulk buy from their vendor. I ordered the White Truffle Garlic Bread for us and it was incredible as always. The reason this place doesn't earn 5 stars is because the wait staff was pushy since our waitress had a lot of tables, the hostess was kind of clueless, and the tables were DIRTY. Also my ricotta cavatelli was subpar -- the flavor profile was super fishy and the sauce left nothing to be desired. I will never get that again. Overall, I think there's a staffing issue and I most likely won't be back to this location especially for lunch.
google avatar

Brian W.

Yelp
North Italia, your food is great, but HOW LONG does it take for you to get a drink order out?? I mean, it was more than TWENTY MINUTES to get drinks. I thought our food was going to come first - not what you want for a relaxing evening. Seriously, isn't this YOUR BUSINESS - I.e., don't you do this every day? Why does it take so long? Came to North Italia before an event downtown. We had an hour on a Wednesday at 6:00 pm. Plenty of time, right? From above you can guess not. Drink rant is above. For food we shared a shrimp scampi and a white pizza. Great. But it's really hard to enjoy your meal when angry and now anxious about having to move it. Not enjoyable.

Yelp
After a day of walking around Austin and sight-seeing with mom, we stopped in to replenish our energy. Boy, did we pick the right spot. Upon entering, we were greeted by, not one, not two, but three different employees. After our server welcomed us to the area, briefly chatted about our day, and then explained the specials, we decided upon the chicken Parmesan and a Caesar salad. Pretty sure the chicken parm was the best I've ever had. The chicken was thin, juicy, and crispy. The crushed tomatoes were incredibly flavorful. The salad was cold, crisp, and fresh. Wonderful spot to try!
google avatar

Paul S.

Yelp
pretty solid. giving it 4 out of 5 for now because our quick brunch choices didn't get into some of their more interesting choices, and a bit pricey.
google avatar

Jaime-Lee B.

Yelp
Dined here with my friend while visiting her on vacation. Place was very lovely inside. Very warm lighting and a full-view kitchen and prep area. For drinks I had "my go-to" Aperol Spritz (which they call an New Italian Spritzer) and my friend had the Sicilian Margarita both were really good. We had the grilled bread with olive oil that sounded bland but it was far from basic. The amazing olive oil paired with a drizzling of balsamic vinaigrette was simple and superb. Next we shared the gem lettuce Caesar that our amazing server provided on separate plates. It's the little things! I had the spicy rigatoni vodka (pictured) was so spicy but the type you cannot to inhale (which I ate the entire bowl). My friend had the bolognese which lacked a little flavor but noodles were Al dente and there was no lack of meat. Overall a really great place with amazing ambience.

Yelp
I just love restaurants where you can peek into the working kitchen. Come into North Italia and check out a spotless kitchen and super clean dining room. Open and modern decor with pleasant music. Wonderful food bar that runs a good part of the entire restaurant. Outdoor seating also available. We were pleasantly greeted and quickly seated for a late afternoon lunch. The lunch menu and dinner menu very slightly, but there are so many options. It's still hard to choose. Our server walkus through the specials, the menu, and helped us make some decisions for a wonderful meal. We started our meal with the barrata that came with a delicious side of butternut squash, apple and nuts and arugula for a phenomenal appetizer! The eggplant Parmesan appetizer is a perfect portion for one and will offer a little heat from a spicy perspective if that's your calling. Wanting to try so many things on the menu, we were pleased to find out that half portions of the main dishes are available, which is great from both a portion control and food waste perspective. Our meals were awesome! The spicy sausage pasta ( medium heat), the bolognese, and the beet salad super fresh with feta, cucumber, avocado, etc. We ended up getting our desserts to go, because we wanted to have our meal go on, but we need to save some goodies for later! This is a must stop when you're in downtown Austin for a wonderful dining experience.

Yelp
I was seated quickly on a Saturday around 2pm. Tables are close together bench along the wall was comfortable. It took a while, 7-10 mins for someone to come over the first time (had to call them over when they walked by for another table). The starter, fired eggplant left a bit lacking due to the seeds being pretty prominent and oddly flavored. The sauce was good though. The Salmon pasta was also hit-and-miss. The salmon was delicious - nicely flavored and cooked beautifully (juicy inside and nicely seared outside). The vegetables on top were good, yet wilted; but the pasta was much too salty. The tiramisu was interesting! It seemed to be mostly whipped filling with very few ladyfingers visible. It had so much chocolate powder on the top that it could make you cough if you inhale while taking a bite. The chocolate balls on top made for an interesting/confusing mix of texture for this dish. Overall, an average [3] rating seems appropriate for the food, cost, and service.

Yelp
Such a great spot close to the riverside. Service was good. Inside it was pretty quiet, good ambiance. Food was excellent! I'm so surprised this place didn't have closer to 5-stars. Arugula salad was light hand fresh. The soup of the day was sausage, kale and cream--kind of like zupa toscana from OG but way better. The pizzas were delicious! Had the prosciutto pizza and big. Spent about $80 for 2 sodas, 2 pizzas (larger than a dinner plate, so not personal but not big enough to share.), a salad, and a soup. I'd recommend if you're looking for something convenient and tasty! They take reservations, so that's how we got in
google avatar

Isabella G.

Yelp
Sauces were indeed fresh, although lacked a bit of salt for my taste, service was super friendly and vibe was chill and dishes served quickly being a Tuesday afternoon right before happy hour time
google avatar

Mariela O.

Yelp
Loved this place! Everything was delicious, we wanted to try something different that wasn't bbq while in Austin as we had been having it everyday. We had no reservations but the wait wasn't bad, we waited about 10 min to be seated. Our food was so good, the salads were beyond drooling** the Tuscan kale salad was fresh and very tasteful we also ordered the Bolognese and the Strozzapreti The desert was delicious too. Our waiter was friendly and cool! The whole vibe in the restaurant was great and it's in the middle of downtown so there's other places to check out once you're done dinning.
google avatar

Emily K.

Yelp
A solid go-to. We love the big patio and being able to get a drink while we wait for a table if we have to, from cocktails and reasonable wine prices for me to beer on tap for my husband. Something for everyone on the menu from basic pizza to fancier short rib pasta to veggie noodle options (which are done very well and never over cooked). I love that they split the dishes in the kitchen if you inform them you are sharing when ordering. The Tuscan kale salad is one of my favorite dishes and the pizza is not really fancy but well done, chewy crust, fresh toppings and flavorful sauce. I wouldn't order to go from here. I don't know whether they ignore the orders until the last minute or don't have a good system to handle them but we have had multiple instances of waiting forever for food, it not being ready or them not telling us it's ready then picking up partial orders or gross room temperature pizza. Stick to dining in.
google avatar

Raquel O.

Yelp
Had a lunch date with a friend and got seated eight away. It was not busy at all and it was around 3:30pm. Our server came by right away and took our drink orders. We ordered the Ginger Blossom margarita and it was so refreshing and good! Slight cucumbery and slight sweetness to it. For appetizers ordered the truffle garlic bread and like always so delish! As my main entree I got the chicken pesto and I know I've had it before and today was just a slight bit too salty but good overall. Service was great, food was good, always a good place for pasta day.
google avatar

Yelp
I had a great birthday dinner here! The service and ambiance were amazing. Our server Briana was so accommodating and kind. We loved our food and drinks and will definitely be back. Thank you for my dessert on the house!

Yelp
This is my new favorite Italian restaurant when I'm in Austin....the food and service was amazing! Great relaxing atmosphere
google avatar

Thomas G.

Yelp
Food was excellent! Service was spot on. I ordered the chicken parm which was excellent. The breading in the chicken was nice and crispy! I hate it when restaurants bring me saggy breading. So well done. Also, the garlic bread was pretty darn good. Ambiance was ver relaxing and chill. Parking is not bad either. You can either valet, or just park in the parking garage attached. The elevator let's you out inside the lobby.

Yelp
Girls night super cute! the waiter was super nice and was really patient with all of our questions. We all ate alllll of our food
google avatar

Yelp
Parking is a little challenging since it's downtown but the flip side is-it's downtown! We're had dinners here a couple of times and always enjoy it so we tried it for brunch. Our server Ethan was great and the food was really good, you have to try the banana bread coffee cake!!! Incredible! While it was a solid visit there was nothing that stands out to make us come back. There are so many awesome places on the area. Still would recommend you to try it and make you own decision.

Yelp
Legit place love this franchise Food is always high quality this location did not disappoint even tho it was a super busy Saturday night and there was a F1 event in Austin. Got a walk in seat in about 40 minutes and served in about 30 minutes. Many people we're having issues but it was super busy so it was expected This location has an amazing outdoor seating and would have been nice to have been there earlier and just have some drinks but we were already starving and took a seat wherever it came first (inside). One tip: get the 10$ valet parking and avoid the hassle. It's definitely worth it
google avatar

Yelp
A great Italian restaurant that did not disappoint me. We had a party of 12, so we were able to sample a variety of dishes they offer. I love their crispy calamari with arugula which made the fried calamari not as greasy. The special board with vegan or prosciutto, olive and vegetable are refreshing. The white truffle garlic was cheesy and delicious. The fungi and Pig pizza were ordered. The crust was authentic Italian style. Everything was great! Their wine list price was reasonable, about double the market rate. The modern dining room decor is hip and fits the young and modern vibe I feel about the town. Major dotcom companies are nearby. I am surprised it is a chain restaurant in many states. It is worth your effort to check out their menu.

Pamela G.

Yelp
Fantastic meal, best fresh made pasta and homemade sauce. I had the meatball ragu and it was incredible.

Felicia P.

Yelp
Do not go here if you're hungry! After 50 min, we still had not received our order so we left. It took about 15 min before even getting our drinks when we got there, so maybe don't go if you're thirsty either. If zero stars were an option, I would've chosen it.

Harinder K.

Yelp
Amazing food - ordered through DoorDash so this review is not about the restaurant each item was delicious. Only complaint was that the eggplant was bitter and thickly sliced - otherwise, cooked just right. The burrata and tomatoes were flavorful, with delicious panzenella. The rigatoni was seasoned perfectly, with pork sausage. The torte was heavenly and the cherries added the right oomph factor. Highly recommend the food!

Xandra d.

Yelp
I have never written a complaint before, but this restaurant just pushed me over the edge. The waiter who helped us was extremely disrespectful, and the attitude and treatment I received was honestly baffling. Not only did we wait over 45 minutes for a bowl of soup and three appetizers that NEVER CAME--but we were hardly checked on. After finally asking how much longer it would be, we were met with, "it's only been 30 minutes. I checked." I was back-talked and spoken down to. Me and my family will never come to this restaurant again. Such a let down. P.S. The restaurant was close to empty

Yelp
Overpriced mediocrity. Husband was so skeptical when I suggested we eat here... But I was craving Italian, and it was the only place close to home that was open after 10pm. Shoulda listened. Pros: -Open later -Nice ambiance on the patio -Proximity to hotels, if you're staying downtown (there were a lot of tourists dining here) -Our server was nice Cons: -Virtually no nearby street parking, adding a $12 garage fee to an already overpriced meal -Most of staff aloof and distracted (including multiple hosts/greeters who let us stand around several minutes while literally avoiding our eye contact). -Food totally meh. Anolini (stuffed pasta) was served almost cold, and its "burrata" filling was mealy. It did not taste like fresh pasta, more like frozen. "Grilled" asparagus had no char (except on the lemon), more like steamed asparagus, yellowing, and completely unseasoned other than Parmesan and a lemon wedge. Margherita pizza was pretty good. -Price: $86 for two dishes, one side, and one glass of their cheapest wine. Will not return.

Yelp
Terrible customer service! Ive been to north italia many times and sometimes order for take out. When you let the host know that you're there to pick up, they redirect you to the end of the bar where the bartender eventually hands you your food which they keep behind the bar. The bartenders usually ignore you for a while as they serve customers that will be tipping and get to you later. Today there was a line of people either waiting to pay for their pick up order or just wanting to pick up their food they already paid for. I asked the bartender for my food that was sitting right in front of me behind the bar and she directed me to the end of the bar, telling me that she'll send someone over. No one came. I asked a waitress that was walking by and she gave me a rude cAn yOu wAit?! As if we weren't already waiting for a long time. It seems as if they only care about customers that they know they'll be getting tips from. If I've already paid for my to go order, where I've specified a pick up time, and it's ready sitting right in front of me I shouldn't have to wait to receive it. I want my food while it's hot and I want to be in and out of the restaurant. That's not how to go orders should be handled!

Yelp
I hold a deep affection for this gem of a restaurant. Its cozy ambiance and outstanding cuisine make it a standout. However, its charm is slightly overshadowed by the cramped seating arrangement, which feels a bit too constrictive for the price point. A slight adjustment--either a reduction in pricing or a more spacious seating layout--would enhance the dining experience, allowing for more private conversations without the intrusion of neighboring chatter. Despite this minor critique, my love for this establishment remains undiminished, and it certainly won't deter me from returning. Yes yelp, the service is good.

Yelp
The staff were so kind and very attentive! The food was incredible. We loved the margarita pizza and vodka pasta. The donuts for dessert were a great choice too. 10/10 for sure and we can't wait to come back!!
