"Yes it’s a chain, but look it’s really good Italian food. Don’t believe us? Here’s your chance to give it a shot." - Courtney E. Smith

My family and I recently went to North Italia and it was an unforgettable experience! Everyone absolutely loved the food - every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything tasted authentic and fresh. The service was exceptional. Our waiter was incredibly nice, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. She provided great recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very chill and inviting. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal with friends. I ordered the margarita pizza and it was the best pizza I've had in a while. Everyone had a wonderful time and we left with happy stomachs and big smiles. I highly recommend North Italia to anyone looking for an authentic Italian dining experience. We'll definitely come back.

For my happy hour group this was a huge disappointment. This review is from August so the staff and management could have gotten better. I also want to say I love this restaurant and I usually have a great experience. This was my first time at this location. We arrived for happy hour and placed a drink order and ordered off the limited happy hour menu. It took a while for the staff to figure out who was going to serve the high top, one bar tender was leaving and the other that was arriving was prepping the station. As the bartender was walking past with her back pack she realized we hadn’t been served, this was about 20 minutes of sitting in the empty restaurant. She told the other guy to serve us and he came and took our order. (Mind you nobody came to take an order in this time frame, pour water nothing. We were talking so it was fine, we could tell a shift change was happening, we could also tell that the other servers were not helping tables that weren’t in their section.) gel brought us our drinks and took our order he never returned! Y’all we didn’t ever get the order after an hour. We didn’t want it at that point. It became a game to see if it would ever come out. A friend of the bartender came in and was served a drink and food within minutes. At that point we went to the host and told her we needed to get the check. We didn’t drink our drinks because we weren’t going to spend a dime. They brought the food out and we stated we didn’t want it, they offered to comp it and still let us have it, they also comped the drinks. I will not be back to this location, they expect the tips but lack in service. It’s a new build and very nice, but complete waste of money if you’re looking for customer service. Heck any service. Photos show how busy it was, and all we received of our order.

I went there with a group of friends for Christmas dinner. The restaurant had a pretty cool vibe, and our waiter was experienced. Our drinks arrived a little late, but I understand they were busy. I ordered the Squid Ink Tonnarelli, and my friend ordered lasagna. Everyone liked their dishes.

Google
Went in on Valentine’s Day! It was definitely packed but we had reservations and we were seen less than 5 minutes from our reserved time. Waitress was very attentive but they had ran out of a few items from the valentines menu. We still tried the carne seca, meatballs, spicy rigatoni vodka, bolognese and the tiramisu and everything and I mean everything was *chef kiss*

Google
North Italia is my absolute favorite restaurant in the Dallas area. I visit them once a week, either at their Plano or Dallas locations (the Galleria location is my personal favorite). I absolutely love all the food here. The servers are incredibly professional and attentive. I highly recommend the chef’s board, Italian farm, Italian meatballs, seared sea scallops, chicken Parmesan, squid ink tonnarelli, and bomboloni. You won’t regret it! Take my recommendation.

Google
Summarization of this 1st visit Please don't leave your customers waiting almost one hour after ordering an entree on a slow, not so busy day. Please, someone acknowledge me and ask if anything is needed. I placed an order and received 2 items of the order within 10 minutes. The main interested entree I longed to taste never came out. I waited for assistance around another 10 minutes in a not so busy place..very slow...may has been a reason I shouldn't have attempted to dine there😳 as I was ignored for almost an hour. However, I tipped the waiter, paid for my wine, and they offered to comp my meal and apologized..wow.

I had the Chicken Pesto which was very good. The portions are fine but do not expect leftovers. When I spend over $20 for pasta I would expect to have some leftovers.

Turning into a busy night, we left the Galleria and were able to procure a table at dinner time. I ordered the squid ink pasta, which is quite different from what I've had in the past. The main difference is there is a tomato sauce base instead of a black squid ink base sauce. I have to admit, I was skeptical of this substitution , but in the end it was quite spicy and I left impressed. The entire staff from the hostess to our waitress were polite and attentive. Overall it was a good experience.

Stacey C.

Yelp
Food was great. Service was good. Restaurant was very crowded, it gets loud. The manager and staff made sure all tables were aware of the food delay and we all were satisfied. The table shared Burrata Di Stagione, calamari and meatballs. All were appetizing, the savory meatballs, in a creamy sauce, were the favorite. Burrata Di Stagione rich and rustic. Golden brown Calamari cooked well, was bland. A few of us had the Grilled Branzino, well prepared, with fresh vegetables. The Tuscan Half Chicken juicy, a hearty meal, perfectly prepared. The Pig 22 pizza cooked to order, was plenty big. All the delicious meat toppings, beware it is greasy. I have food allergies, they were very accommodating. The server knew the menu well, was able to go over my options easily. Overall, was a comfortable experience for a large group.

Yelp
I like to vet places before using them for team happy hours. I love North Italia, but I had never visited this location. I had really high hopes because I need a location close to the office. I decided to visit for lunch today. The restaurant wasn't full at all. Maybe 10mins after sitting down someone comes over. Not my waiter but a very nice lady. Appetizer was good. Entree i didn't like but they offered to bring something else. Only problem is the time it takes for anyone to come to the table. There's no way I could give more than 1 star. All of the waiters just walk around without speaking. No offer for refills and I literally had to look around in order to get someone's attention. If it was like this during the day with a near empty restaurant I can't imagine bringing a group of 20-30 people.

Gilbert S.

Yelp
North Italia was a great let down. Visited on 1/26 and from the beginning of my dining experience things just felt a little "odd." I can't really put my finger on it. Every encounter we had with our server just felt weird. It was very awkward service if that makes sense. I don't want to jump to conclusions but my guest and myself felt that we were not fully welcomed here. The strange part was how "hovery" the waiter was. In such a hurry to collect the bill , but didn't seem too worried about our dining experience. This definitely upset me and ruined the rest of my day. I started with the "Soup of the day" which was the sausage, potato and kale. The soup itself was oily and bland. I tried adding my own salt but it was a huge let down. If your soup is bland and not seasoned that gave me a bad feeling to order anything else. Heavy on the potatoes so that soup would benefit from salt. Possibly even a little cheese sprinkled on top. It was terrible, and for $10 I would absolutely never order it again or recommend to anyone. Next was the Prosciutto fig goat cheese pizza. I don't feel their is prepared with care. The pizza itself looked sad. Just sort of thrown together. Small little sprigs of arugula, a tiny ration of goat cheese. ( I would expect a goat cheese pizza to at the very least have a little bite of goat cheese on each slice.) the prosciutto and arugula literally just slipped right off of the pizza when you pulled off a slice. The pizza came out cold which made it even worse. The flavors were sort of there, but it could use a major improvement. The restaurant itself is beautiful, however it over promises and under delivers. I had higher expectations for this place but the only good thing I had from here was the soft drink. If you are looking for a good pizza I highly reccomend you skip this place and check out Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza Turtle Creek. Save yourself a bad experience and avoid this place

Yelp
This was my first time ever trying this franchise. Amazing service and the food taste was 10/10. The drinks were a bit on the sweeter side and the drink recipes could use a bit of tweaking. Appetizer was delicious, calamari was cooked very well, but i wished it included tentacles with the rings, but i LOVED the marinara with the calamari. The entrees were delicious, I ordered the strozzapreti and my friend ordered the lasagna. No complaints about my dish however the lasagna did seem a bit small for the price, even for a lunch portion. I would have thought it came with soup or salad but this restaurant doesn't do that I guess. I could taste the homemade recipe and the noodles were fresh. I wouldn't mind coming back here but with so many Italian restaurants in the area I wouldn't put it at my #1. I did not use the restrooms here so no comment on that.

Yelp
I'm a basic bolognese girly, and this hit the spot!!! The beef carpaccio tasted way better than I expected. I was pleasantly surprised!

Shiju Y.

Yelp
I had an amazing experience at North Italia! The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish being expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. From the fresh pasta to the perfectly cooked meats, everything was crafted with care and high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. It's clear that North Italia is dedicated to providing both excellent food and top-notch service. Highly recommend!

Michelle C.

Yelp
I actually don't really care for Italian food and I never crave it, but my friends loves it, so I decided to try North Italia for the first time, and it was overall, a pretty good experience. I'd recommend North Italia for a nice meal out, especially if you're outside of the mall and looking for a little upscale casual spot. Food: I tried the Zucca Chips based on recommendations from both my friend and the server. They were crispy and enjoyable, but it was a bit overhyped for my taste. They're great for fans of fried, crunchy snacks. For my entrée, I had the seasonal vegetable salad with added salmon and no goat cheese. The salad was fresh, and the dressing was on point. The fregola was a different flavor for me - not my favorite part, but I still enjoyed the overall dish. I did sneak a bite of my friend's pesto pasta, which was delicious, but noticeably heavy on the dairy, so keep that in mind if you're lactose-sensitive like me because my stomach did hurt right after. Service: Our waitress was very outgoing and friendly. I liked how she started with a conversation about food allergies and restrictions, which was thoughtful and helpful. I've recently become lactose intolerant, and she immediately suggested dishes without dairy or ones where dairy could be removed. Though it was a bit busy and we didn't see her much, my friend and I had a good conversation to fill the gaps, so it didn't detract from our time. Ambiance: The setting is sleek and dimly lit with a casual but mature vibe, making it a nice, convenient spot right outside the mall.

Christine G.

Yelp
We did not have the best time at this restaurant. The service was very slow and not very attentive. The food was also not that great. However, it definitely was a vibe especially for a work party or a night out. Not sure if I would go back.

Amber S.

Yelp
North Italia is one of my fav Italian chains! Consistently good (food and service). Though we frequent the Plano location more than I'd like to admit, we decided to give this location a try, and I'm glad we did! Everything from the atmosphere (beautiful decor) to the service and food was excellent. I would recommend North Italia as a whole and this location, too! For starters, we had the calamari, and wow, so yum! It was the perfect amount of crispy. The sauce that was paired with it added a nice tang, too. Our entrees consisted of chicken parmesan, spicy rigatoni (my absolute favorite!), cheese pizza, and short rib. The only complaint we had is that the short rib should be served differently--rather than in pasta, maybe with mashed potatoes and a vegetable or something else. The pasta and short rib don't make for the best combo.

Marie O.

Yelp
I'm visiting the area and glad I stopped in for a quick bite to eat. The ambiance is bright and airy. Upbeat music is playing. The bar staff are very attentive and have their favorites to suggest. I wanted something light so I am enjoying the beef carpaccio. Most menu items are at about $24.

Yiqun L.

Yelp
The ambiance was great and the interior was very modern and stylish. Food was OK, not "great" but definitely worth what you're paying for. Plenty of seats so usually you don't have to wait very long to be seated, which was important to me. Great location in the mall.

Robert H.

Yelp
Food (3.9) Service (3.6). Ambiance (4,1). Surprisingly good food considering it's located at a shopping mall! Easy parking and access is from outside the mall. I had the salmon with a side of pasta, which was very tasty. My friend had the penne which was also very good. . They have a nice selection of tap beers at the very nicely appointed bar. The service was what you expect at a mall based restaurant, not professional but pleasant. Only a minor drink error which was happily fixed. The ambiance is bright and clean. Nicer than any of the popular food chains. I would return if I had a hankering for an Italian meal and in walking distance.

Yelp
We made a reservation for our birthdays during an early time slot on Saturday. They even called to confirm who's birthdays they were so they could celebrate. We were running a little late and they were extremely accommodating. Once seated, the server was very kind but also overwhelmed and working too many tables. We ordered appetizers and were told meatballs were unavailable because they were out....at 5 pm. They told us they'd comp another item if we wanted to order while they attempted to make more meatballs. This was kind but set the tone for the rest of the evening. The food was absolutely amazing. The chicken parm, the pesto, the garlic bread, etc. None of what we ordered failed our pallets. We were a little disappointed they up charged us an extra amount just to have some extra sauce with the chicken parm. Another large downside was that it took us well over 2 hours at the restaurant. Overall, not a great birthday experience. They didn't even acknowledge our birthdays. The food was stellar, the service was lacking. I'd have this again- just to-go and on a weekday.

Amrita J.

Yelp
I got the privilege of checking N. Italia out for their soft opening. It was such a good experience, service was great, and I really appreciated that considering how busy they were and how many other parties were also there that day. Food: -Appetizer: Started with the Crispy eggplant parmesan appetizer and it was delicious. Crispy, flavorful and tasty - Main Dish I opted for a pasta for my entree, and got the Strozzapreti, because I love mushrooms and spinach and the Parmesan cream sauce sounded amazing too. Well let me say....it did not disappoint! It was just the right amount of creaminess to the sauce, flavorful with the pine nuts and seasoning. - For dessert: went for the Tiramisu, which was presented in a little bowl and was not overly sweet or coffee tasting. I enjoyed it. Drinks: I can't remember what mine was called! But it was good, and refreshing. Ambience: I love the way that when you step in it almost transforms you to another place, and not the side of the Galleria Mall lol. It is beautiful decorated with plants and greenery and has a nice patio to sit on. I loved how from where we were seated, you could literally look into the kitchen and see the chefs hard at work. It gave me fancy restaurant vibes. Go check them out! They're now open for business!!

Bianca D.

Yelp
Service was fantastic! I got the squid ink pasta and so yum! Definitely tomato-ey and has a kick if you're into that. The chicken pesto was also so yum. Star of the show was definitely the ricotta bread started. SO good!

Jenna N.

Yelp
I love going to this place! The food and drinks are always so good! We tried some new things this time. The charcuterie board which was very good, the beef carpaccio, I don't eat it that often but I think the one here was absolutely delish, the shrimp scampi which you can never go wrong with if you're a garlic lover. And the pasta which was nice and creamy and not too heavy. The desserts were also yummy, we got the butter cake with ice cream and the tiramisu which was also good. Eric was the best and made sure we enjoyed our food and experience!

Cecil F.

Yelp
One of favorite restaurants in the city I have a really good experience with there service and great food

Sydney W.

Yelp
Server was not notified of us being sat in his section but he made up for it after he realized. Food was delicious! Restaurant was well lit and very clean!

Rachelle T.

Yelp
Came for Restaurant Week brunch on a Saturday morning. We came pretty early, so it was quiet and not busy at all. We were seated at the booth and our waitress was very attentive and helpful with her menu recommendations. Starters - Smoked Prosciutto Frittatine and Cacio e Pepe Arancini Entrees - Breakfast Carbonara Pasta and Bolognese Dessert - Coffee Gelato and Blood Orange Sorbet We liked everything that we ordered! I think the food is a little on the salty side, but I'm a bit sensitive to salt and my husband said everything was fine for him. The portions are pretty big and generous so we had to pack up our food to-go for later. Our favorite was the Frittatine appetizer (basically deep fried mac & cheese) and I really loved how refreshing the sorbet was after a heavy brunch.

Nihilaa K.

Yelp
Spicy rigatoni vodka was good and was able to customize my pasta with half squash and half pasta which is nice . The bread is great and the fried zucchini was okay . Rest of the pastas were meh . Good service and ambiance and might go back for that .

Santangelo G.

Yelp
Nice Restaurant! Great Meatballs! Quick Bite. Ive been to every North Italia in Houston so we had to stop here and check in. came here with my girlfriend for lunch and it was not a bad idea! In comparison to the Houston Locations , this one did well with the food. Service was sort of slow and lacked attentiveness. I asked for sweet tea and never received it! I forgot all about it too! Lol My gf enjoyed her cocktail . The atmosphere is clean and active with conversation. Great place to get together with family or friends! Overall. I had a good time. Thank You ,North Italia Dallas -Santangelo Balli Gonzales

Justin M.

Yelp
This chic and modern Italian Restaurant had some classic dishes with a fresh twist to them. The interior is spacious and fresh feeling that really ties into the fine dining experience. I had the Squid Ink Pasta and it was a decent dish. The staff here where top notch and very attentive.

Nicole D.

Yelp
We stopped inside of NI - Galleria while in town for a conference and it did not disappoint! Originally I had soup on the brain which the waiter informed me they have an amazing butternut squash variation and honestly, it's probably one of my favorite soups, but the decadent smell of garlic and marinara put me over and had us place an order for meatballs first, followed by a split of the Caprese sandwich and the pasta for the day. Everything was absolutely divine, flavorful, and came out piping hot, which I absolutely love. The environment and the decor for the restaurant is very trendy and clean, which is of the most importance but also it looks like it has a really great vibe for happy hour. We had excellent service at this location and I would definitely be back!

Kyle M.

Yelp
I went to North Italia for a birthday and picked it out based off my experiences at their Austin 2nd street location. I'm happy to say that this location lived up to my previous experience by offering up good food, drinks, and service. I ordered an old favorite, the braised short rib lumache (~$24) along with a cocktail from their menu: the Vent Vidi Vici (Japanese whiskey and limoncello ~$15). Everything came out perfectly. Since we were there for a birthday they also gave us a free desert so we split a salted caramel budino (~$11 normally). Pretty tasty but likely a bit more than I would spend for a desert that size. Overall, it was a great spot for a special occasion. The mall valet parking (~$8) is located just outside in case close parking is a concern as well and makes it easier than a normal trip to the mall.

Em J.

Yelp
Had a wonderful time at North Italia at Galleria. It is the best location. Joy helped us, and she is not only friendly, she knew the menu so well - she made wonderful recommendations. The restaurant is so beautiful, clean, bright - I love the ambiance, but it could get a bit loud. For appetizer, we had the wild shrimp scampi; it was served with toasted bread. The main entrees were squid ink pasta and the pig pizza with bomba sauce. For dessert, we shared the butter cake. Every dish was so lovely. You can't go wrong coming here, and the drink selection was awesome too.

Kyle D.

Yelp
First time trying this and it doesn't have a chain persona. Amazing drinks, Old Fashion X2, the garlic bread was too die for. Wife and daughter split the chicken pesto, great flavor and not greasy. Son got the chicken parm and it was all seasoned perfectly. Chicken was still crispy throughout the meal. I got the short rib dish and it had excellent flavor and oh so tender. Keep it up.

Jordan J.

Yelp
North Italia in the galleria is a hidden gem. It's very nice inside, but also not too packed because it's fairly new. I'd say get here before it gets popular. I've been for both brunch (twice) and lunch (once). It's been great all three times. The food is very well prepared and tastes great. The service is also good, with the staff being friendly. Any Italian lover, would like this restaurant.

Aaron M.

Yelp
Awesome and attentive service, got seated almost instantly! Food was spectacular for the price and comes in decent portions. A little dark and the restrooms are nice, basically what you'd expect from a nicer restaurant like this.

Michele M.

Yelp
Absolutely yummy! It's elevated Italian food! We enjoyed our meal and even my drink I ordered! It was so incredible I asked our waitress to let the bartender know just how much we enjoyed it! A very cute spot and I highly recommend visiting!! Definitely try the truffle bread - our fave!

Michael M.

Yelp
The truffle garlic bread with ricotta is the thing to come back for! Beautiful and comfortable setting.

Levy C.

Yelp
We went to this recently open in the galleria this week for our Anniversary. We had previously seen this restaurant in the lower McKinney avenue when we went to the Henry. So we just at the opportunity to visit them in this north Dallas. We really liked it for a few reasons below. 1. The food was "very good. I had the chicken parmigiana which was crispy fried with cheese and wonderful tomato sauce just the way I like it. My wife had the pasta with bolognese that she really enjoyed. We had the meatballs appetizer and we split the Caesar salad that was delicious. 2. We had the best waiter (DJ) very attentive but not overbearing. Once he found out that we were celebrating our anniversary he took special pride in trying to make the experience even better. We were treated with red velvet cake with ice cream. 3. The ambiance is very nice and would have been even better if the restaurant was at least half full. The night we were there it was "slow". But it is a new restaurant and we were there on a Thursday night. 4. This is a Texas size restaurant with a two sided outdoor patio. 5. We will go back and sit outside and enjoy their pizza on our next visit.

Cal K.

Yelp
first, we came here to dine before our formal dance. Whenever we got our waiter was super nice, but the manager was very disrespectful to our group. The manager said that none of our IDs looked similar, even though we are all from college and are from different states and cities. She would not ask another manager or someone else to review our IDs. But before our group left I walked up to the bartender and asked for him to look at my ID and said that he believed it was a real ID. Used to love the place but after getting treated very disrespectful from the manager I will never spend money here again.

Sonyah S.

Yelp
First, a turn-off is dirty bar glasses, asking for another glass, then looking at all the glasses, and obviously, they need hot water and a cleaning agent. After wiping down my dishes, the entrée comes. I paid extra for the pasta, but why? Why is it stuck together and chewy? Aren't you supposed to use salt and olive oil . The shrimp was great, but it's rare for me to give a low review. Can't be Italian restaurant without cooking the pasta right. The bartender was excellent .

Diane R.

Yelp
Went for dinner, took over 5 minutes to have a bartender to even say hi. Ordered dinner, one came out completely wrong. 2 people said they would fix it. It never happened. Don't waste your time or moment!

Delina K.

Yelp
Food and service was AMAZING! The servers were very detailed, checked on us a respectful amount of times and helped me find/customize a pasta dish to make it vegan. I ended up having a zucchini pasta with mushroom red sauce. The fingerling potatoes were also very flavorful. If I'm ever back in Dallas I will definitely come back to eat here!

Kevin L.

Yelp
Sat at the bar, took forever to place my order. Food came, no silverware for 10 minutes. Good bolognese. Ordered Tirimasu but, after waiting more than 30 minutes, cancelled the order. Get more help or train your staff to be more responsive. The food and atmosphere won't survive on its own!

Krystal H.

Yelp
We also had Salmon entree and kid's spaghetti and meatballs not pictured but excellent! Don't sleep on North Italia because the flavors definitely make your mouth happy!

Kim C.

Yelp
Enjoyed an amazing lunch highly recommend the chicken Parmesan, they were short staffed on this Sunday afternoon and so the wait took about 15min. Austin the executive chef came by our table and waited on us. He is a great guy very professional and personable. He has some new menu items coming soon a pear dish and pear desert which he gave us to try "Delish". plus a really cute pumpkin display out by their shaded patio cute tables too! Enjoy Nirth Italia here at the Galleria! Austin Brown is the head chef!

christina j.

Yelp
For lunch, the prices were very HIGH!! No entree is under $22. And the portions were small. I ordered the chicken parmesan and it was very very salty! And they served it with some dry butter noodles - how plain! Also, we had to ask for Parmesan cheese and when the waiter finally brought it out, it was a small container like 2 T. for a table of 8! Ridiculous! ***update, Mgr told me to come by HH for discounted food!!! Low blow...it's not about the price, if the food & service is good! Why would I want to pay any amount for not so good food & service????

Michaela M.

Yelp
Had a blast on Sunday during there preview days! Everything my mom and I ate was fantastic. The place itself is beautiful. For appetizer for the burrata with pancetta and jam. I wish there was more pancetta but the cheese and jam combo was bomb. Then I got the squid ink pasta and it was delish! I liked the calamari the most. Then I was jealous cause my mom got the short rib pasta and to me that was the best. Finally got one of my favorite desserts which is tiramisu and they did it perfectly!

K F.

Yelp
Wow!!!! We needed Morth italia at the galleria area. Amazing!!! We started with great red wine by the glass, beef carpaccio, bread, olive oil, and balsamic dip, and already thought we were in gastronomic heaven. Then came the brazino! Do not miss this fish. It is fabulous and crusty with lemon butter, capers, grilled Brussel Sprouts, and more.... Then, to send us over the top with delight, came the dark chocolate, chocolate chip ice cream, and the vanilla bean ice cream. What more could we ask? Our server Tniyah (pronounced Tan-eye-ya) was super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, attentive, and fabulous! And Edu, from Venezuela, was super kind and friendly and wrapped our bread and olive oil to go. The hostesses were so kind and friendly when we arrived. Our booth was spacious and super comfy. We were thrilled with our visit!

Debbie W.

Yelp
Everything was okay. Told us they did not have the banana coffee cake but we saw it being served to other tables around us throughout the meal.

Kylah K.

Yelp
Have always loved the Legacy West location, so was really excited to see this location open closer to home! I visited last night for the first time, and had a great experience! Dimitri was our server, very soft spoken but still attentive and nice! The drinks were great, and we LOVED the Arancini balls as for appetizer. Entree portions were okay, and the donuts were a great dessert. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated and dimly lit. Little pricey, but good date night vibes for sure. I actually enjoyed it so much that I ordered again tonight through DoorDash -- another round of the Arancini, Spicy Rigatoni, and a Caesar Salad. Imagine my surprise to find out my dasher actually stole my $80 order! Buyers beware!! Never had this happen before, but I encourage management to keep an eye out for more occurrences. Might want to remove yourself from the platform if the issue prevails. Hopefully I'll be the only one!

Thomas P.

Yelp
First, the parking is atrocious. I will not return for this reason. Better to go to the Legacy West location. Second, the service is not up to speed. They try, but have obviously not been well trained. Last, the food is not up to the North Italia standard. I will stick to other locations. I predict that this location will not survive long

P J.

Yelp
The long-awaited opening of the newest North Italia has finally arrived at the Galleria! We were seated on the patio to our chagrin, but our misplaced and premature disappointment was soon replaced with thankfulness and joy. The front patio is long, so you can either sit near the bar for more of a fun social scene or sit at the other end for a peaceful open-air conversation. We started with cocktails. I chose the Veni, Vidi, Vici, my favorite, a smooth blend of iwai japanese whisky, montenegro amaro, limoncello, orange and fresh lemon. My sister went with our server Skye's suggestion of the New Italian Spritz, opting for something lighter and less sweet, with aperol, citrus smash and prosecco. Our friends chose the Julietta, also a prosecco, but with ginger & vanilla infused tito's vodka, italian elderflower and lime. And the fourth person, a gin lover, was very happy with his Negroni Rosa, which consisted of Hendrick's gin, starlino rosé, italicus, bitter bianco, with grapefruit essence. We would all order the same drinks again. But I might have to try the Pomegranate Mule at happy hour. We always start our meal with one of the seasonal Chef boards. The Classico, with prosciutto di parma, speck, pecorino stagionato, crescenza, house giardiniera, castelvetrano olive, marcona almond, fig mostarda, grilled bread is my favorite., and my friends started off with that. We can't imagine starting a meal at North Italia, without one of their fabulous cocktails and a Chef's board! The kitchen was nice to split the Seasonal Vegetable Salad, to share with my sister. It was absolutely wonderful, with butternut squash, brussels sprouts, thinly sliced cauliflower, kale, radiochio, delightfully tiny pecorino romano cheese cubes, whimsical fregola (tiny round balls of pasta), pistachios and dates, all tossed in a mild white balsamic vinaigrette. My sister's branzino was epic! Not only was it beautifully plated, but she appreciated the generous toppings of capers over the subtle lemon butter sauce. My Bistecca Marsala was a pair of nicely grilled medium rare, as requested, bistrosteak medallions, with a smoky black truffle and mushroom risotto, halved roasted brussel sprouts and a sprinkling of grana padano. Our friends couldn't praise their choices enough! One chose the braised short rib with lumache snail shaped pasta, with a sauce of parmesan fonduta, topped with fresh horseradish, wilted arugula and herb breadcrumb. My mouth was watering! The other thankfully decided on the Ricotta Cavatelli, jumbo lump crab, tiger shrimp, peperoncino, mint, lemon olive oil over small, hallow pasta resembling puka shells. Morgan, the GM, suggested the Dark Chocolate Torta. We loved the addition of the amarena cherries, the vanilla mascarpone, and the bits of almond in the flour. What a wonderful way to end a meal! Great food shared with family and friends. It was a night we didn't want to end!

Yelp
New North Italia location at the Galleria Mall. Great service. Delicious food. Nice atmosphere. Also has an outdoor patio with a view. I would recommend it.

Yelp
I know that this is a new restaurant location but the service and food was not up to par. The waitress wA really rude. The only thing that was okay was the pizza. 6 of us ordered pasta and it was not good. Very dry and a scoop of short rib. We let the manager know and she proceeded to bring out more meat and "pasta" sauce. HORRIBLE

Yelp
My husband and I came in for a later dinner after making a reservation at the wrong location ( we were in town on business) They were still going to accommodate us no problem. We just decided to sit at the bar! I can't remember the bartenders name who served us, but she looked like the actress Marisa Tomei and she was fantastic!! She friendly, gave good recommendations on food and had a great presence about her. The meatballs were delicious as well as the pizza!!! Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
The service was good. Ambiance awesome but they have an open kitchen where you can see clearly food being prepared. It blew me away when I saw the food being tasted before it was packaged for to go orders. The actually taste your food before it goes out. I won't be back. I don't know if this is normal but I'm not with it.
