This is my second time here with my wife. The staff and service is better than average. Both times they were friendly and attentive. They were fairly knowledgeable about the menu, but if they didn't know, they offered to find out from the chef the restaurant is decorated nicely, but not overdone, considering they have corporate money. They were bought out by Cheesecake Factory, but they haven't ruined them yet. The ingredients seem to be a good quality a lot of which are imported from Italy. The first time we went, my wife ordered the bread with good olive oil, which I find odd to put on the menu "good olive oil", in a restaurant like this it better be good olive oil. I ordered the Cacio e Pepe Arancini. Both were decent although the Arancini was a bit heavy on the Pecorino Romano, Pecorino Romano is a salty cheese and as a result the Arancini was a bit salty. For a main entrée, my wife ordered the bolognese, which is listed as a house specialty, it was mediocre, not horrible, But not remarkable, especially for being a house specialty. I ordered the Naples White pizza, again, it had too much pecorino Romano on it, making it very salty and unbalanced in flavor. I asked the waitress if they had balsamic reduction, she went and checked with the kitchen and brought me out a small bowl of balsamic reduction, which I drizzled over the pizza to counter the saltiness of the cheese. Luckily, that worked, salvaging the pizza. Other than the imbalance of flavor the pizza was cooked properly in their pizza oven. On our second visit, my wife ordered the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, which she enjoyed much more than the bolognese. My daughter ordered the Margherita Pizza, upgraded with their Tie Dye option and also gluten free. She also enjoyed her meal. Overall, the restaurant provides a nice dining atmosphere with better than average service. The menu has a decent selection to choose from, although I honestly feel they need to work on balancing their flavors. The pricing I feel is a little high for what it is, but I guess that's to be expected in this economy of fake inflation and corporate greed.
I'm sure we will be back when it is convenient for us, don't see going out of the way to come here.
