Great service and excellent food. The Squid Ink Tonnarelli is superb, and our table also tried their new version of lasagna and liked it very much. We all enjoyed both market boards and a tie-dye Margherita pizza. Good selection of desserts too. And although we didn’t get it this time, the white truffle garlic bread is her. Came to this location after less than satisfactory service at Reston. Happy to see the service at Tysons location matches the food’s great quality.match

This restaurant has a bright and lively atmosphere, making it a great spot for friends, family gatherings, or casual meet-ups. The interior is modern and spacious, so it doesn’t feel cramped. While it can get a bit busy and noisy when crowded, the vibrant energy creates a fun and enjoyable dining experience. The food is well-balanced — not too salty, but full of flavor. The calamari was light and crispy without being greasy, pairing perfectly with the dipping sauces and making it an excellent appetizer (or even a great pairing with drinks). The seafood pasta had a fresh tomato-based sauce with a rich depth of flavor that was very satisfying. The pizza came with a thin, crispy crust, and the toppings blended beautifully with the melted cheese, making each bite delicious. The cocktails were refreshing and light, complementing the food perfectly. They weren’t overpowering but rather crisp and pleasant, adding to the overall experience. Overall, this place offers a bright and energetic vibe with tasty, well-prepared dishes. It’s perfect for having a fun time with friends. Just keep in mind that it might feel a bit loud if you’re looking for a quiet, intimate dinner.

North Italia has a modern, casual, and stylish vibe—definitely a different feel compared to the Reston location. The food was delicious across the board, and the service was excellent. We ordered the arugula and avocado salad to share, and the server thoughtfully split it into two plates for us, which made the experience even better. The combination of great food, attentive service, and a chic atmosphere made this visit a real pleasure.

Came here based on a lot of tik toks and reviews about this place. We did not enjoy most of all our food. The garlic bread with truffle ricotta was good and so was the classic board and the Caesar salad. Had to send back the calamari, was very chewy and overfried and tasted freezer burnt. We all ordered chicken parm and the sauce had WAY too much fennel in it. Never have I ever had fennel in my sauce anywhere and I’m Italian. The pasta with the cream sauce served with the chicken Parmesan was very good. Overall, I would not return. The Olive Garden would have been better. Would have went to trattoria in Clifton but they didn’t have any reservations. The server was extremely nice but took forever to refill drinks and any other basic requests.

We had an amazing dining experience at North Italia in Vienna. We started with a pizza as an appetizer—crispy, flavorful, and perfect to share. For my main dish, I asked for a modification that our wonderful server recommended: pappardelle Alfredo with short rib. It was absolutely delicious—honestly, the short rib might be the best meat I’ve ever had in a pasta dish. I had tried the lasagna on a previous visit and felt the portion was small, but this time the pasta was not only generous, it was the best I’ve had at North Italia. We also tried the squid ink pasta with seafood, which was rich and flavorful, and the chicken parmesan sandwich, which was hearty and well-seasoned. Another standout was the shrimp spaghetti—light, fresh, and full of flavor. To end the night, we had two desserts: the classic tiramisu and another with red berries and a jelly-like layer. Both were absolutely delicious! The ambiance was another highlight—the restaurant feels new, very clean, and has a modern yet cozy vibe that makes you want to stay longer. A huge thank you to our server, who was incredibly patient with all our preferences and modifications. She made excellent recommendations and even surprised us with a candle in the dessert for the birthday we were celebrating. Truly top-tier service. Can’t wait to come back!

North Italia at Tysons has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the area, and for good reason. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a stylish, warm, and inviting atmosphere. The modern yet rustic decor, the open kitchen concept, and the bustling energy of the dining area make it perfect for anything from a casual lunch to a special dinner outing. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the food and the service. Let’s start with the service: absolutely top-notch. From the hostess to the bar staff and servers, everyone is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. On my recent visit, our server not only made great recommendations, but also ensured our drinks were never empty and that every course arrived with perfect timing. You can tell the team here is well-trained and genuinely cares about your experience. They strike the perfect balance between being present and giving you space to enjoy your meal. Now, the food — simply outstanding. Every dish is crafted with care and packed with flavor. The appetizers are fresh and creative — the White Truffle Garlic Bread is dangerously addictive, and the Chef’s Board is a perfect start to share. For the main course, the Short Rib Radiatori is one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had, with melt-in-your-mouth meat and rich, balanced sauce. The pizzas have the perfect crust: slightly charred, chewy, and full of character. Everything is made from scratch, and you can absolutely taste the difference. Drinks deserve a special mention as well — the cocktail menu is refined and well thought out. Whether you’re into a strong Negroni, a refreshing sangria, or a creative seasonal special, you’ll find something to love. The wine selection is equally impressive, with both Italian classics and domestic options to pair with your meal. Parking is easy too — Tysons Galleria has ample space, and valet is an option if you're in a hurry or dressed for the occasion. North Italia isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a consistently great experience. The combination of ambiance, service, and cuisine puts it in the top tier of dining options in the Northern Virginia area. Whether you're visiting for a weekend date night, celebrating a birthday, or just grabbing a casual weekday bite, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend — make a reservation because it does get busy, and for good reason!

I rarely write bad reviews, but this experience left me no choice. I had one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life, and unfortunately, it happened during what was supposed to be a special night, our anniversary. When I made the reservation, I mentioned the occasion. Upon arrival, the hosting staff and their manager were professional and welcoming. They seated us promptly and handed us the menus. So far, so good. Then the issues started. Our server introduced herself and asked for our order immediately. We politely asked for a couple more minutes to review the menu. Shockingly, she returned almost right away and asked again. We told her we were still deciding. Moments later, she returned again, rushing us to order. Feeling pressured, we went ahead and placed our order. The food itself was actually delicious, but that’s where the positives ended. The service was appalling. Once our meals were served, we were essentially ignored. I waited 15 minutes for a simple drink refill, and only after another server noticed me looking around did I get any help, but not from our waiter. I also waited 30 minutes just to ask for napkins, parmesan cheese, and pepper flakes. When the server finally came, she brought the cheese and flakes, which she should have brought after serving the food; however, she forgot the napkins. I had to ask again. This kind of inattentive, careless service completely ruined the evening for me. Even when the server seemed to realize her mistake and brought us bread and olive oil, it was far too late, so that should’ve been served before the meal, not after. Our waitress mentioned to a nearby table that the restaurant validates parking tickets, information she did not share with us before we left. I left that restaurant furious, with a pounding headache and a bitter memory tied to what should’ve been a happy occasion. I would never recommend this place for any special event. It was a huge disappointment, and I truly regret choosing it for our celebration.
