The Very First Chick-fil-A Restaurant Closes at Greenbriar Mall in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"Proposals to redo North Point Mall into a work-live-play district are under discussion as part of a broader trend in Metro Atlanta to convert aging malls into mixed-use developments with housing, offices, retail, restaurants, and green space." - Beth McKibben

Great Review for North Point Mall Kids’ Play Area, Alpharetta, GA The kids’ play area at North Point Mall is a fantastic family gem! Located near Dillard’s, this clean, safe, and recently updated indoor playground is perfect for ages 2–8. With colorful slides, climbing structures, and soft flooring, my kids (4 and 6) were thrilled for over an hour. The enclosed design makes supervision easy, and its proximity to the food court is a bonus. Free and well-maintained, it’s a must-visit for families shopping at the mall!

I checked out the Delman Circus in the North Point mall parking lot and honestly, for $16, it was worth it. A lot of it is geared more toward kids, but there were a few solid acts that stood out like the motorcycle driving inside a metal ball, which was pretty cool. Some parts dragged a bit, but overall, it was a fun, low-key show for the price.

Lots of stores with a great variety of clothing, shoes and food. Clean, friendly people with plenty of parking. Upscale without upscale prices. It's kind of hidden depending on where GPS takes you. Looks like it's behind a hidden neighborhood. Across the way from Best Buy, you're in the area.

Update: I revisited this mall on a Wednesday, and unfortunately, about half of the stores and the food court were closed. The mall was almost empty—I only saw about five people during my visit. Previous Review: A pretty mall, smaller than the Mall of Georgia but still offers plenty of shopping options.

Google
Great mall. Busier than I expected but pleasantly surprised! Clair’s was awesome!! There’s an awesome store on the second floor that has HAND DRAWN, custom pictures of celebrities for great prices! Wonderfully talented!! And the artist is also a barber!! The mall is great!!

I was blown away by this mall. It reminded me much like the Las Vegas Mall. The inside was so clean, tidy, and the design of the sitting areas just blew me away. This mall is pet friendly also and so are many of the stores. We went into the LEGO store, Aerie, and Spencers and none had an issue with us walking around with our husky. I did not see stairs so moving top floor down and vice versa was tricky with the escalators. We picked up our dog but in the middle of the mall there is an elevator. I 100% would love to come back to this mall verses the local malls I have around me.

Haven't been here in about 10 years and like many of the Metro Atlanta malls there were a lot of empty stores. But, this mall Is being kept up. It was clean and well lit. I just went there to walk at 6:00 on a Thursday evening. It was relatively empty. The one thing I did notice is that there were a lot of places and things for children to do And good shopping kids. A few toy places, hobbies, Clothing, A children's train that goes around the mall and a big play area. Have I had small children in that area? It would be a good place to let them run around when the weather wasn't great.

Google
Wow, this place is pretty dead! A couple of nice stores staffed by really nice people (I felt bad for them). Look up your store(s) beforehand and check their hours. It was strange to see anchor stores closed so early on a Saturday evening. I also noticed quite a few interior shops with gates rolled down... are they closed or out of business? I've never had a bad shopping experience here. It's just limited & too far to travel often. On a positive note it is surrounded by lots of retail stores and restaurants.

Yelp
I've come here many times to shop, eat and go to the AMC Theaters. I actually am surprised at the variety of stores here. However, I'm also saddened at many of the closed off storefronts due to businesses leaving. Lots of parking is available all around the mall. A food court with spacious areas with lots of tables allows customers to find a place to eat without too much crowding, and there is a carousel nearby. It's easy to navigate this mall, and I like it because it has a nice layout that has only two levels that makes it easier for most people to remember where they are and not think, "Where am I" or "Where did I park my car?" North Point Mall was opened in 1993, and renovated in 2003. Since then, most of the mall has been maintained well.
google avatar

Meena C.

Yelp
I'm dating myself by saying this, but I remember when this Mall was built! It's definitely seen better days, but some stores have remained constant. My kids love coming here to ride the train and carousel. I'll keep coming here whenever we're in town!
google avatar

Craig B.

Yelp
Been 18-24 months since I've been at North Point Mall. Sad, sad, sad to see. Looks like 1/3 of the sores are vacant, of those about 1/2 are no name stores. Basically empty on a Saturday afternoon. Hard to seeing know this was THE mall a few short years ago.
google avatar

Jaz M.

Yelp
I stopped by for some quick accessories from H&M. The mall didn't have much traffic so that made my Tuesday shopping a little easier. It was clean and store signs were visible. They have major department stores and the parking lot accommodates all guest. If you need some staple pieces or even just to grab a bite, stop by.
google avatar

Brett J.

Yelp
It's your typical mall... no surprises... another dying mall. The jcpenny location had no air going in it. It was broken... and the place was a scorcher! There was also zero help. The mall it's self if we'll laid out with lots of natural light and open areas... but as with all malls there seems to be an abundance of closed areas. There is a movie theatre attached here. There is a food court and other staples attached to get food if needed. The mall is in a good location and has good access to it... it is just another casualty of our day and age. Quite a few people in here as well... but it just has that "slowly dying" feel to it.

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful indoor mall. Good selection to stores but I do see many open areas. Need more people to visit to keep malls like this open and going
google avatar

Ivan B.

Yelp
Grew up near this mall, always lively and excellent seating! You'll find all the basic stores you'd find at a mall.
google avatar

Sharon C.

Yelp
Decent mall. Many empty stores but it's still a lively mall. It has all the major department stores and most importantly a boba shop, lol. There are two levels by to explore and a quiet dead end where you can rent furry animal motorized scooter. Restrooms were decently clean with no lines, and family private bathroom too. The food court was a decent size with a variety of choices.

Reggie Y.

Yelp
Walked in and all but one store on the second floor of that wing of the mall was closed. Turned around and left
google avatar

Julia C.

Yelp
I love this mall so much! It's just about the only real mall that I feel somewhat safe going to. They have a handful of great stores, but I do wish they had more chain stores instead of small businesses. I really like the light up trees because they add such a fun vibe to the mall. I also enjoy the large number of restaurants that are nearby. This is my go-to mall!
google avatar

Paula S.

Yelp
Used to go to this mall a lot, and drive about 30 miles. It was a great destination, plentiful Food Court and several nice shops. The area around this mall has changed a lot and it still has a many stores. However, it has lost the fun feeling of an active mall. We stopped first at the Food Court around 2 in the afternoon. Several of the food vendors had closed shop, and the few that were open had no business, so no fresh food. Very sad! I do hope that the mall does good business on week ends.
google avatar

Summer H.

Yelp
My God! What happened to North Point Mall? Are they going through a financial situation? This tree was perhaps the best thing in the entire mall. The stores that are left are very bare in selections and merchandise in general. Other stores merchandise looked extremely cheap in quality, like they paid no more than $1-$5 per item to resell to us for at least twice as much. This mall is not only disappointing it is depressing. I remember when this mall saw better days. Hopefully someone can/will breathe life back into it. Also, it could use some updating, it looks exactly the same as it did when I first visited in 1998. Alpharetta has so much going for it that it can't afford for the only mall in the area to be in decline.
google avatar

Tae Kyung Y.

Yelp
It's sad that I have to give this mall such a low review because this was literally the only mall I went to as a child and teenager. As a person who lived in Alpharetta and Johns Creek, this mall was the hotspot for young adolescents. Unfortunately, after the Avalon opened and that part of town got more developed, North Point went downhill afterwards. On my most recent visit, and it's been over a year since I came here, I was so shocked at how lame this mall became. Almost all the good stores closed down and even mediocre stores like A&F and Hollister closed down too. Apple is now at Avalon, Starbucks closed down and half the restaurants in the food court were also closed. I visited on Black Friday so it wasn't too dead, but it makes me wonder how dead this mall is on a non-holiday or a weekday. Half the mall just seemed like it was those local independent retail stores and it was really sad to see how bad this mall became! It feels a lot like Sugarloaf Mills now, but I feel like it is heading more and more towards Gwinnett Place Mall. I did see an article that this mall is being redeveloped and renovated, but until then... this place has got some work to do.
google avatar

Yih R.

Yelp
So sad to see so many stores closed up, A&F is gone, Hollister is gone. I really want malls go do well. It is a place for us to hang out and build memories. I hope more stores, more competitive discounts are in the house and more people shop for this holiday season

Jaden L.

Yelp
This mall is extremely the opposite of the bad reviews. This mall has a large food court with a carousel and lots of shops such as a lego store. It has A&F. The mall actually is much better than Gwinnett Place Mall, and Sugarloaf Mills. This Mall has very good service with lots of entrances and exits.

Yelp
North Point Mall was wonderful years ago but now it's gone downhill. At least 50% of storefronts are closed and many stores have moved out to newer shopping centers. There are a few stores remaining like Bath & Body Works, H&M, Victoria's Secret, Sephora and Build-A-Bear Workshop. The other stores are not name brand so I'm not sure of the names. Many of the food court restaurants have closed as well. Unfortunate.

Yelp
North Point is probably my favorite mall in "Atlanta". There's nothing that makes it stand out amongst the other malls, but for some reason, I always manage to find something I like at this mall compared to the others. It's also less crowded compared to Lenox, Perimeter, Mall of Georgia, Cumberland, etc. North Point Mall has 4 department stores: Macy's, JCPenny, Dillard's, and Von Maur. There was previously a Sears, but it closed down. A few of my favorite stores are Pac Sun, Forever 21, H&M, American Eagle, and Hollister. North Point also has a really nice movie theater here: AMC Dine-In North Point Mall 12. Another reason I favor this mall is for their food court. They have a Five Guys, Chick-fil-A, Charley's Philly Steaks, Sarku Japan, Mandarin Express, etc. I'm usually stuck contemplating what I want to eat whenever I do decide to eat here while shopping. Overall, I like this mall. It's a little ways away, so it may not be of interest to anyone who isn't near. But again, there's things that this mall has that you may not see at other malls. Sometimes the same stores have different merchandise. Good luck.
google avatar

Mel W.

Yelp
I was somewhat disappointed in the lack of stores that this mall had. I mean they had an American Girl Store and Cafe" which is really a cool concept for those traveling with their child, niece, sister etc however I was hoping for some additional clothing boutiques for women, some place other than the big chain department stores, gap, express etc. The mall is pretty large but essentially had the same basic stores that most malls have, I don't even recall seeing a MAC cosmetics store. I was hoping for hardcore shopping but left with one blouse. Lenox Square Mall had more options
google avatar

Ming H.

Yelp
As far as a mall goes, North Point Mall is pretty classy. The interior is very clean, bright, and appears well-kept. The location is great in terms of other shopping, stores, groceries, and restaurants. North Point Mall has a total of 124 stores (based on their website). Here's the breakdown of the stores: Accessories (3) Children's Clothing (6) Department Stores (4) Electronics & Entertainment (8) Food (18) Health & Beauty (9) Home & Housewares (4) Jewelry & Watches (11) Men's Clothing (12) Shoes (7) Specialty (29) Sports & Fitness (1) Women's Clothing (23) The mall is also great (or terrible if you're trying to shop as a parent) for kids as they have a play area, pretend animals you can ride, a train, and a carousel in the food court. Parking is readily available, and they do also have a parking garage. In terms of their sales, I find they seem to be pricier than other malls. Overall, would come back and shop.
google avatar

Jacqueline D.

Yelp
I think most of the malls are all the same. What I did notice about this mall was there was a merry go round inside. I also noticed lots of family's walking the mall as well. Based on my visit I would say this is a nice place to bring the family to hang out. I did not shop here I basically came here to go to the food court. The food court was good. They had lots of food choices. If I am ever in the area I will come back to shop and look around.

Yelp
North Point mall is so much fun ! It has everything ! Make sure to check it out !!!!
google avatar

Lilly C.

Yelp
I remember when they were building this mall and everyone that lived in Roswell wondered "who are they going to get to work out in Alpharetta." Back then Alpharetta was farm land. Look at it now. If you see trees out here it's because some company bulldozed all the "natural" trees and then put some "decorative" tree up for ambiance. The mall is sorta your typical generic cluster shopping lump. They have all your chain brands such as Macy's, Dillards, Sephora, H&M, JC Penny and of course Starbucks. It's packed on the weekends so parking can be a challenge. Although I always park by Penny's and there are always spaces there so you might want to give that a try...

Yelp
I've only been to North Point Mall a few times while living in Atlanta but usually it's only when it's convenient - whether that means I'm in the area already (which is rare), made plans to watch a movie at the theater (also rare) or the location with the only available Apple Store appointment. The North Point Mall used to be big and bustling until the Avalon completed construction down the street. I remember being pretty impressed with the crowds at North Point and the selection of stores and restaurants. The crowd is still there but noticeably smaller. The restaurants don't seem quite as impressive and a lot of the nicer shops in the mall have moved to the Avalon. I recently came here to return something to American Eagle (I know... I'm not a high schooler anymore, why am I still shopping here) and found this to be the closest store location to my lunch plans. The store was a little busy with some teens holding up the line. There may not be the crowds to be used to be and some of my favorite stores are no longer inside, but at least that means parking is easier and lines are shorter!
google avatar

Gina K.

Yelp
Used to be my go to place for all shopping. Now so Many shops have closed I feel the need to call before I go to make sure the shop is still there!
google avatar

Jacob H.

Yelp
This mall was insane being that it was the first two story mall I had been to. It had quite a few stores in it and I believe I went to it multiple times just to walk around. I also think that security was alerted a few times because I would just walk into stores and back out. I do not steal and wouldn't put my life in jeopardy and steal.
google avatar

Brittany S.

Yelp
This used to be mine and my children's favorite place to go. Now the Merry go round is shut down and so is the kids play area. All the good food places closed except for Chik Fil A. Half the stores are closed down, and it's just a sad shell of the place that used to exist there. If you need a mall make the drive to Buford or the city. This one no longer has anything good to offer.
google avatar

Frank B.

Yelp
Don't go here. Security sucks - shops are run down - parking lots not safe - management doesn't care. This place is a dump and the security guards are a total joke - I feel sorry for the businesses that pay money to be in this mall. It's awful.
google avatar

Liz U.

Yelp
If I could give this place a negative review- it would owe me a star for coming here! The bathrooms were atrocious. Out of 10 bathroom stalls in the women's restroom, 4 were out of order, 2 had locks that didn't lock and the one I ended up using had a broken toilet paper dispenser that was laying on the ground next to the toilet. The restroom was very poorly lit and garbage cans were over flowing. Not sure if that's considered a health violation since this restroom is within the food court- but shame on you North Point Mall.
google avatar

Jing L.

Yelp
Just recently moved to the Alpharetta area so I have been coming here a bit more. Has a reasonable number of stores that people typically shop at. To list some: JCPenney, Macy's, 2 sephoras (one inside JCPenney and one stand alone store), J Crew, Banana, Ann Taylor, H&M, etc. Many options for food nearby like CPK, Cheesecake Factory, as well as a decent sized food court. There is also an AMC for those of you that are up for shopping + movie. Nothing fascinating but I can get my usual shopping done here. Otherwise, I head to Lenox Square when I need to purchase some designer goods.
google avatar

Mitchell D.

Yelp
Security here has a serious power problem. I was here a month ago and had just bought a new car so I parked way out in the parking lot so that I could do a few things to the car as I waited on my family to finish shopping. I was way out in the middle of the parking lot next to a landscape island and was parked parallel to it so that I could see the front of the store and get some shade. I had over 100 parking spots in front of me and the other parked cars. The security officer pulls up and is like what are you doing (I'm in a brand new Tesla with temporary plates) l said I'm waiting on my family to get done shopping. She then yells at me to park in the lines. I couldn't believe that I'm in the middle of nowhere, in the shade, working on my new car, and she felt the need to come and harass me. Never coming back to this mall with the idiots working in security.
google avatar

Karo R.

Yelp
Reasonably sized mall! I like!!! We were over this way checking out the area while taking care of business and decided to swing by the mall. I tell you this, I got my 10,000 steps on my fitbit for the day while browsing thru this place. This mall houses a few of my favorite stores and the massage chairs located near the "As seen on TV store " is truly an added bonus. Lol I didn't see anything fascinating about this mall, but I enjoyed it, at 1 pm there was barely a soul in site. Peaceful shopping!!! It has a very decent sized food court that offers all of the same food options as most Malls. I wouldn't travel out of Cobb County to come here, but if I'm in the area I will definitely stop thru.
google avatar

Sharita B.

Yelp
I actually like this mall, for it's convenient location and the fact that it offers a variety of stores that I like, a cool size and modern food court! I also love that there is a big carousel located in the food court for the little ones. I have been to this mall a few times and still haven't had the pleasure of making it all the way through but since it isn't far and offers a lot of what I like. I will!
google avatar

Daniel B.

Yelp
Unless you live in Alpharetta or the surrounding area, there's really not much that separates North Point Mall from the other major malls in Atlanta (Lenox, Perimeter, etc.). It's pretty much the North Fulton suburbs' go-to mall, complete with plenty of big-box stores, chain restaurants (CPK, Cheesecake Factory), and strip malls surrounding. North Point is easily accessible from 400 (exit 9, Haynes Bridge Rd.). Unless there's a particular store you're interested in going to that the other malls don't have, the drive probably isn't worth it. Speaking of stores the other malls don't have, Von Maur, a family owned and operated department store, opened at North Point in November 2011. Von Maur opened in the former Belk space. It's a nice and well-decorated department store worth checking out. North Point opened in 1993 and after almost 20 years it's still in pretty good condition. Architecture isn't too stunning, but the mall space is clean and naturally well-lit thanks to vaulted glass ceilings. The food court is unique in that it has a classier and more sophisticated feel to it. Each of the eateries were designed to look the same. The centerpiece of North Point is probably the giant animal carousel located inside the food court. It's absolutely huge and you can't miss it. The carousel is artfully detailed and ornate -- not some run-of-mill children's carousel. The kids, of course, love it. One annoying thing about the mall are the sinks in the restrooms. They have those handles you have to keep pressed down so water keeps coming out. It's time for them to upgrade to sensored faucets. North Point is two stories high and has a giant parking deck with plenty of spaces even on the busiest of days.

Yelp
WHERE'S MY CHRISTMAS! The one time that I really enjoy visiting the mall is during the Christmas holiday season for the express purpose of seeing all of the beautiful decorations. Well, that little tradition has abruptly ended because when we visited the mall yesterday, there were no decorations in the corridors. What! They erroneously assume that everyone will be visiting the center court area where they have created a Winter Wonderland for the kiddies and the almighty dollar. Look around Honey because those kids aren't spending money, their parents are and they want a bit of Christmas love as well. I am so disappointed because I like seeing holiday decorations throughout the mall and Christmas cheer spread everywhere!! I think that every store, regardless of what they sell should make an effort to spread a little holiday cheer and create a warm and inviting ambiance for their customers. They should seriously take notes from Macy's and Crate and Barrel because those stores never disappoint when it comes to holiday décor. Unfortunately, I now have another reason not to visit North Point Mall. Bah Humbug!
google avatar

Mel E.

Yelp
This is a great mall. It's very clean and well lit. Parking is not usually awful, yet this mall is almost always crowded. They're always adding new stores, which is both a good thing and a bad thing depending on how you look at it. It's nice to have new things, but a lot of my favorite stores are either disappearing or down sizing.
google avatar

Lindy F.

Yelp
"Nobody knows this mall better than I do." -- Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009) I enjoy this mall quite a bit. I find it is super easy to park, especially near stores you might be wanting to visit. There is an app for your phone you can use that shows you the map of the mall, which helps you to be strategic, especially around the holidays. There is a ton of entrances, which also helps. NPM all has quite a few stores that make is desirable - LEGO, H&M, Coach, Disney, and Sephora. The space is large and open - also very bright and cheery. I enjoy shopping, but only when I have a purpose. NPM makes this easy. Plus, they have a nice big Starbucks in the middle of the mall, and they make great coffee drinks well. I'm easily here several times a year and it just doesn't seem so far out of the way that I dread coming here... plus in October they are opening the newest fancy AMC Theatres, which means I will probably spend more time up here this fall. Bring it on.
google avatar

Tim S.

Yelp
Personally I love this mall. The toy stores, the department stores, the shoe stores and the merry-go-round make for a good shopping experience. The food court has some fantastic options from Chinese and Five Guys to Chick Fil-A and Pizza. The mall is clean, the seasonal decorations are great and there is a cool Christmas and Easter Bunny set up in the center of the mall. Malls are dying in the US and malls like this one are exactly what we're looking for in a shopping experience.
google avatar

Coty S.

Yelp
Yep, it is another one of the many many malls in the suburbs of Atlanta. The mall filled up to the point where stores just opened and strip malls were created around to move more stores into the area. Thank goodness there is a parking garage to hide you from the elements. At North Point Mall, you will find some odd department stores, like Von Maur--- a strange Midwest department stores that no one has ever heard of except your grandma. However, to counteract that North Pointe also has a large H&M stores as well as other younger specialty stores. They also have an elusive Sur la Table store, a cookware store that also offers really awesome cooking classes and free coffee. Definitely a mall with a good mix of stores and essentials for all ages. Don't miss the reflexology guy pandering all types of massages from an open kiosk. Sorry buddy, but it would cause me stress to get my feet rubbed in front of everyone.
google avatar

Nesia M.

Yelp
I didn't come here to get my shopping on. I visited this mall for the kiddos. There is a play area (preferably for kids under 6) and a train that they can ride. Now the train was $5 which to me was a little pricey for such a short adventure. But hey I'm just the nanny and was using the parents money.
google avatar

Jon P.

Yelp
It's a good mall. Has most of your basic stores. I do miss the Mac store as it moved to the Avalon. There is an area for the kids to play on the Von Maur side of the mall. You have the big AMC theater too. If you are hungry, Cheesecake is a good place to stop by. Its not inside the mall but next to the parking garage. Overall you will see some people hang out during the weekends. I think you see the most people during the holiday season. They do have a carousel inside the mall, located on the 2nd floor where the food court is. Food selection is okay. I'm sure if you visit enough times, you will get sick and tired of the same foods. The mall is fairly on the clean side. You do see the cleaning staff going around the mall so thats always good. If you asked whats the next best option? well you have the Avalon and perimeter mall and you do have the sub stores outside the mall like Dicks sportings, old navy, target, right across the mall.

Yelp
This place was horrible. Zero high end stores/department stores. Terribly depressing. Slow service. Just over all not what I was looking for. Yes its clean and tons of parking but crappy stores.
google avatar

Alyssa H.

Yelp
Great mall, just seems like it is fading away! Really wish places would come back to the mall! Garage, has left, and that is really sad for me. Really hope north point will succeed!
google avatar

Andrea M.

Yelp
Eh. This mall is a okay. I'd have to say that having G by Guess does give it some edge since this store is few and far in between. There's also a very huge American Girl store here... The only other stores I enjoy visiting are H&M, Macy's, Express, Starbucks--lol. There's the typical AE, BR, Aeropostale, Charlotte Russe, Loft, Hollister, A&F, & Apple stores. My rule of thumb: to be considered a good mall in general depends on the number of high end (ish)/large department stores. I almost forgot that there is a Von Maur here. So in terms of my rule, this mall is right there barely meeting the average mark. Even without Von Maur (still unsure what type of dept this is...), there's still Macy's that most people frequent. The food court is uniquely located upstairs. There's a also a Cheesecake Factory right there within the mall vicinity. :)

Bryan S.

Yelp
As a guy, North Point is probably the most dull place to go to. You mostly just see competitive clothing company's raising and lowering prices. Heck, Perimeter malls top parking lot is more interesting than the amount of clothing companies there are in North Point combined. Unless if you're trying to go and buy some designer clothes or fancy cologne from Macy's, just stick to Ross and TJ-Maxx that's across the street from them.

Diedre R.

Yelp
I hardly ever go to this mall. I average 1-2 visits per year. It doesn't help that the mall is over 30 miles from my home, and that I have to go though a 50 cent toll booth to make and return from the trip. I don't think there's one store here, that isn't in several other malls over the metropolitan area. Wait, I take that back, they have the an American Girl store. If you're not familiar with American Girl, please disregard, as that means, you have no pre-teen girls in your life. I am a fan of the Pottery Barn stores, but the staffing at this mall never takes a moment to greet me or ask me if I need to any assistance, so I normally leave without purchasing anything. The parking lot of this mall gives an idea, that this is a super large mall. It isn't, its average in size. There is no longer a Bloomingdale's at this location, and honestly, I'm don't recall their being one, but whatever they had here before is now a Von Maur store. I never leave this mall feeling like I'm the demographics of the shopper they cater to, but they have one of the only Yankee Candles stores that its easy for me to get to, so they get my monthly candle budget if nothing else. 59 of 100

Yelp
Overall it's a great mall if you live in or near Alpharetta. I work about 3 miles down the road here, so I find myself at times aimlessly walking around to avoid traffic. It's not much different than Perimeter Mall which is also right off 400. Decent food court, ample parking and good department stores. Weekday afternoons are the best time to visit.

Yelp
I grew up going to North Point Mall, from when I would ride the carousel in the food court as a little kid to going dress shopping for special occasions as an adult. Unfortunately for the mall, with the establishment of Avalon and other shopping centers, as well as the rise of e-commerce, the mall seems to be declining. I recently visited and the quiet emptiness of the mall was a bit depressing. The food court has good selections (Sbarro is my go-to) and there's an Auntie Anne's with heavenly pretzels on the first floor. There are some good anchor stores, such as Macy's, Sears, Dillards, and Von Maur. There is also the Peachtree Express Train that takes kids around the mall and a play area for children. While North Point Mall has a good amount to offer, I fear it won't be around in 10-20 years.

Yelp
Good mix of high & mid price shops. CHECK YOU for the $7 shop!!! Larger food court than most malls. Love the children play area at the movie end of the mall, the riding stuffed animals & the train that they can ride. Need another anchor store on the Sears end of the mall. They even have a seasonal carnival in the parking lot during the summer. They should have an outdoors Christmas Market like in Germany for Christnas. And, a book festival with booths of authors for autographs to drive more traffic through the mall.

Yelp
The Northpoint Mall has most major department stores, Macy's, Dillard's, Von Maur, and Penny's and a good variety of specialty shops in the mall and nearby out properties. The carousel is a favorite with my young grandchildren and located on the second floor behind a floor-to-ceiling window in the food court. The food court offers good foods in a wide variety and we enjoy eating there especially with the grandchildren! Parking is close by and the parking lots patrolled even though the general location of the mall is as safe as safe can be in America.
