"An XL plate at North Shore Plate Lunch consists of deliciously tender kalbi ribs or teriyaki beef, plus BBQ chicken, kalua pork, rice, and macaroni salad. That’s a deal and a half at just $18.99, and even better when paired with some takeout musubi. Aside from mini Hawaiian chain restaurants, it’s really the only option for legit Hawaiian food in the Corona area." - Sean Vukan, Eater Staff

This place is special and reminds me of the islands. It has that certain feel you only get from Hawaiian food spots and I am so glad it is here in SoCal. The food is Ono and first taste of the kalbi beef brought me back to my childhood. North shore shrimp plate better than Giovanis any day. All their food better than Ono Hawaii and clown culinary gangster Ai Pono. Authentic and local, cant go wrong and you won’t be disappointed. Try musubi and cucumber kimchi. Take home and enjoy da grindz!!!!

Great food! First time stopping by, but I'm definitely going to be back. Big portions, so you'll have leftovers to enjoy at home. I had the chicken katsu. Fresh, tasty & filling. The macaroni salad was on point.

My home away from home. My comfort food. I am so happy I found this hidden gem. I'm born and raised on the island of Oahu, and am currently living in Socal. So, from the moment you walk in the vibes you get feels like I'm back home in Hawaii, from the island music, to the locals working there sharing that Aloha Spirit they are so welcoming, and definitely the food! The food is so authentic to what Hawaii offers! Seriously gets better and better every time I go eat here. I'm also korean and the cucumber kimchi is bomb! Also, the poke is so good! Must have with your meal. Truly thank you North Shore Plate Lunch for doing what you sistas and bruhhdahs do! Mahalo for bringing me back to Hawaii even if its only for 30 mins or so while im there it truly fills my heart and belly!!! Aloha!

If you are missing the food and ambiance of Hawaii, come on over. The meal is as authentic as can be. Allow your taste buds to enjoy the island foods. I ordered the Chicken Katsu. Truly, my taste buds were having a party and enjoying every bite. Great price and big portions. Mahalo!

If you come early, BEWARE!!! Not sure how this place ended up in the top spot of Yelp but I couldn’t even eat the chewy, hard, and what looks to be over-stewed Kalbi that doesn’t seemed grilled like some of the other pictures. This is what I got for almost $20. As a former chef this kalbi looks to be leftovers from the other day, reheated and stewed instead of charbroiled like how it’s supposed to be. By trying to save money you served a customer bad food that ended up being tossed. The beef looks and tasted like hard tack beef jerky that was inedible. I would understand if the meat was not cooked well enough or overcooked as these issues can be mistakes but as a former chef I know there is no excuse to serve someone this beef with the worst parts hidden below the stack of meat. Something like this is not a mistake. As someone who worked in a tight kitchen, I can say this was deliberate as I came after opening and was most likely served reheated meat. Also notice how there is no burnt edges on the meat from the grill as the meat looks to be just taken out of a pot of liquid that was reheated to rejuvenate the tough meat which happens when you try to reheat something overcooked. The Katsu was ok. A warning for those who come early, you may get reheated leftovers. Absolutely no excuses for a place that charges almost $20 a meal!

I have driven by this place on numerous occasions always thinking I really need to try this place out. Well today was the day. The place is really small with an odd shaped parking lot. You have to pull in and drive to the back of the lot to park and enter. There's no easement so there's only one way to access the property and that's off Hamner. Decor is as if you were transported to the islands. Bright cheery and has that island vibe with multiple screens playing surfing videos. Menu is simple nothing overwhelming but you're going to have a tough choice in deciding what you want. Because everything looks great. Prices are super reasonable as well given the current price of things these days. I ordered the kalbi plate and my son got the chicken katsu plate. Ordered and waited for our food to come which took a little under 10 minutes as food are made to order. No sitting under a heat lamp here gang. Everything was super flavorful. The kalbi was cooked perfectly as it was juicy and the meat came off the small short ribs. Support small businesses and give this place a try. You will not regret it and prepare to have leftovers if you're not a big eater.

Google
Service and atmosphere: 5 stars Food: 2.5 stars My spam moco tasted okay. I didn’t like the overly sweet taste to my egg and spam. Perhaps it’s the furikake? My husband said his kalbi was very chewy. I agree with the previous reviewer about the texture of the meat being tough and appearing to have been reheated We rarely leave negative reviews on restaurants. We did receive great service and the restaurant was clean and airy on a hot day. The food left a lot to be desired

Google
The BEST Hawaiian food in SoCal🔥🔥🔥 The food is fresh and delicious, the drinks are cold and refreshing and the desserts are sweet but not too much! If you're in the mood for some Hawaiian cuisine THIS IS THE SPOT! you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Wow! This place is awesome! Definitely "BROKE DA MAUT" or broke the mouth as they say! There's not very much parking on the premises. A few spaces in front and a handful of spaces in the back. There's street parking with an hour limit. If you turn at the signal on the corner to go behind the restaurant, there's a second lot available for parking. The place is quaint but cute. Minimal decor, with some island photos to set the vibe. There's tables inside and covered tables outside. It's also very popular! I ordered promptly upon arrival. I couldn't decide between the kalua pork or the garlic shrimp. I was informed by selecting the large combo plate, I could get both! It was worth it to me because I wanted to try both entrees. Also comes with two scoops white rice and some Mac salad. I also ordered some spam musubi to take home and share with my oldest daughter. They also had their famous guava cake available so I had to get a slice of that as well. To round out my meal, I opted for a Hawaiian Sun Strawberry Lilikoi drink. Everything was "ono" or delicious! The garlic shrimp was so easy peel and flavorful--reminded me of being back on Oahu. The kalua pork was cooked perfectly and soooo good. Appreciated the sauces provided for the rice as well. The guava cake is amazing. The musubi was just as good as everything else! Mahalo nui loa, North Shore and aloha!

Yelp
First time trying this place due to a friend's recommendation. My family and I are always looking for authentic Hawaiian spots in the Mainland and North Shore Plate Lunch is definitely one we will add to the list. It's a small little place with a few parking spaces, but so worth it. I ordered the poke bowl with the ahi limu and the ahi was so flavorful that I wish they sold by the pound! My family also loved the dishes they got, the poke mix plate, kalua pork sliders, loco moco, and teri burger. Definitely will be coming back!

Yelp
We were craving something different for takeout other than Chipotle, Taco Bell, etc. I happened upon this establishment after searching and we ordered online- two Korean chicken plates with all mac ($4 upcharge each which I thought was pretty steep). The parking structure is very small. I'd imagine that it may be challenging to park your car if there are more than 5 parties at once. I didn't have an issue at the time I went and my order was ready when I walked in. I got home within 30 mins of picking up the food. I don't expect the chicken to be piping hot, but it wasn't even lukewarm. It was cold. Warmed up fine and my grandmother, who is typically very critical of food, really enjoyed her meal. I thought the food was okay, but I had higher expectations based on reviews. The chicken was decent, but the mac salad (that I paid $8 extra for combined) had an odd aftertaste IMO. If it was just me who ordered food, I probably would've rated 2 stars for the taste, temperature of the food, and upcharge. Given that my grandmother enjoyed her food, I'll rate 3. I seem to be in the minority for not caring for the food.

Yelp
The business has limited parking spaces in the rear, can also park in the church parking lot next door . Outdoor and indoor dining options are available, with no waitstaff; order at the counter, and friendly staff will bring your order. The guava cake is amazing, but it's seasonal, so get it while you can! The poke nachos were a delicious daily special; hopefully, they'll offer it more often. The beef stew was tasty, with large portions suitable for sharing. My husband and I shared the X-Large plate, featuring kalbi, kalua pork, BBQ chicken, rice, and mac salad; the kalbi was okay, but the kalua pork and chicken had impressive smoke flavors.

Yelp
First time trying this place. I got the Mochiko chicken special. It comes with 2 scoops of rice, 1 scoop of mac salad, and the Mochiko chicken. This was 5/5! The rice was perfect and fluffy. The Mac salad was delicious and creamy. The chicken was so good! It was tender and juicy. The breading was not too thick and it was seasoned well. It did have a kick of sweetness, which I personally could do without but when I paired it with some siracha, it brought a spicy/sweet flavor which I liked. They really packed this plate because this fed me and my husband and we still had a few chicken pieces leftover. Totally recommend! Can't wait to try their other items!

Leilani M.

Yelp
What a slice of the islands! A friend introduced me to this new gem and so pleased to finally visit. Had to try the kalua pork! The medium plate came with two scoops of rice and one scoop of Mac salad. The kalua pork was so juicy and flavorful with that hint of smokiness. Mac salad was also flavor packed goodness not just piled on with mayo a perfect balance. Be sure to ask for some hot sauce if you're seeking some spice. Enjoyed my meal so much! Definitely wanna come back and try their guava cake! They were out that day but just another excuse to return for seconds. Going strong for two years located right off the 15 fwy in Norco. At the corner of Third and Hammner. Nice attention grabbers with their banners blowing gently in the wind. Bright and inviting curb appeal. Catering menu also available! Closed on Monday's. If you're missing home this is a place to visit. Nice patio seating area in front or plenty of indoor seating. Parking located behind the building. Enter through the right side exit thru the left. Staff take good care of their guests serving delicious food that broke da mouth. Wonderful to see the locals supporting this business! Will return soon for more delicious Hawaiian home cooking.

Yelp
The amount of times I've come here since finding out about it is unreal. I have literally perfected my order. It literally hits EVERY-TIME. I'm the type of person that likes getting the same thing once I find something I like. However, the quality of the Poke is so good & fresh. The best I've had & that's saying alot. It's so flavorful. It's perfectly seasoned & you can tell they take time with their preparation. The Shouyu sauce is my fav but I tried the Spicy Garlic & it was really good. The service is great! It's mostly packed on the weekends so during the week it's nice to sit down & enjoy a delicious meal. Love this place!

Yelp
Oh, this little hidden gem! If you're in the surrounding Corona area and craving some amazing Hawaiian food, this is your spot! From whatever Hawaiian craving you're having, they have it here!! Some of my favorites here: Garlic Shrimp plate: loaded with giant shrimp and 2 scoops of rice and a scoop of Mac salad, they use EZ peel shrimp so it's not too hard to peel off! Such great garlic flavor as well!! Chunks of cut up garlic, so if you're a garlic fan this one is for you!! Poke Bowl: you can actually have your poke done in 3 different ways! Nacho, bowl or salad, the choice is yours! They of course have an amazing mixed plate that you can't go wrong with that have all your meats in a platter with the good old fixings on the side! Parking is a little tricky or it can be, but I haven't had any issues whenever I get there. Not huge, semi small but enough so hopefully you'll get a spot! Workers: always so nice with a smile on their faces EVERYTIME and always giving great suggestions! Vibes inside: you feel like your "home" eating a piece of Hawaii as it should be giving you that vibe to begin with!

Cassidy B.

Yelp
No service to write home about, as it is self serve. The staff were friendly though! The vibes are immaculate with the music they play and the Christmas tree. FOOD WAS FANTASTIC. Portion sizes were MASSIVE and food was fresh. .99¢ fountain drinks on Thursday. Kalua pig was the star of the show. My fiancé got the medium bbq chicken plate. WOW. It came with 4 perfectly charred chicken thighs!

Joel S.

Yelp
Came today and had a group of friends come try out Northshore Plate Lunch. I ordered the weekend special which was Duane's beef stew. It was actually pretty good! Comfort and hearty and it was alot, I only half of it! Shouts out also to Maile that took our orders and served us. She did a great job! The place got really busy and she handled it well!

Genise S.

Yelp
I was craving poke nachos and this place hit the spot. Poke was good, but it had a tad bit too much sauce for my liking. The guava cake was delicious! There is limited parking and its behind the restaurant. Staff were very friendly. Love the Hawaiian music they had on the playlist!

Anna H.

Yelp
Omg. Finally a place for poke that isn't that 'choose your toppings.' This is a taste of what real Hawaiian poke tastes like, no frills, just good quality fish and flavors. The cucumber kimchi has a little bite to it, lettuce was super fresh and I loved the spicy mayo flavor on the poke. For a drink and poke bowl with a side of kimchi, it was 20.00. Staff are friendly and huge portions. The other Hawaiian food looked good too. The music was a *little* loud but the place is clean and I felt welcomed. Parking is in the back, the place is a little unassuming from the outside, but all hidden gems are!

Cathy D.

Yelp
I've had this place saved for a while but I've been skeptical since it was in Norco. But we finally decided to give it a try! The store itself was pretty small and had a small parking lot. But it was very clean and had AC. The menu itself was also pretty small. I was mainly drawn to the restaurant for their hawaiian style poke. We ordered the spicy mayo ahi nachos and shoyu ahi on the side. I loved the texture of their wonton chips! They were so thing but also very airy. their poke also tasted very fresh. I shared with my boyfriend and we were actually really full. Also the price was really good! All of that for $25. We also last minute decided to get their Lilikoi cake. At first we were hesitant because it was $9 but it was so good. The cake itself was very moist and the lilikoi topping was so nice and not too sweet. I'm excited to try their other cakes! :)

Yelp
I discovered this place about two weeks ago and have already visited three times--it's truly a hidden gem in the Norco/Corona/Jurupa Valley area! This charming little spot might look unassuming from the outside, but it's full of character inside. On my first visit, I ordered the Katsu Chicken Plate after they ran out of Saimin. The staff was incredibly friendly and didn't charge me extra, which was a nice touch. The food arrived quickly, and the Katsu Chicken was outstanding--the breading was perfectly crispy, and the meat was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. A few days later, I returned around noon and managed to snag the last parking spot--the place was buzzing! I ordered the Loaded Spam, and to my surprise, it was ready almost immediately after I paid. I took it to the office, and it was fantastic. The combination of seaweed, rice, egg, and spam was perfectly balanced and incredibly satisfying. A week later, I came back for their Loco Moco. With high expectations, I was thrilled to find it met them all. The hamburger patty, fried egg, and Mac salad were all excellent, but the standout was the gravy. It was so rich and flavorful that I would have been happy with just the gravy over rice. I highly recommend this place, but be sure to arrive early to secure a parking spot!

Jordan S.

Yelp
for real though this place is fire! I'm going to have to come every time I'm in the area. Shrimp plate was better than most I've had in Hawaii! Great customer service as well!!

Alyssa C.

Yelp
As the ancient Hawaiians once said.. Cheehooo! but don't quote me on that. North Shore Plate Lunch is a pleasant surprise in IE. Their (not that) spicy garlic poke brought me back to how relaxed I felt in Oahu. Nice cuts of fish and lovely flavor. Their loco moco was delicious but wanted more patty than gravy covered rice. Also.. their playlist is loud and full of Hawaiian bangerz.. it drowned out my intrusive thoughts for my time there haha. Their mochiko chicken, spam musubi, and limu or shoyu poke are next on my hit list!

val a.

Yelp
I've been craving Hawaiian for a while now, but had never found a great place near me. I'm a bit of a food snob, Being that I've traveled quite a bit to Hawai'i and know when Hawaiian food is ONO. This place is AHHHHMazing!!! I had the kalua and the Kalbi dinner. It made me feel as if I were back on the islands . It's was perfectly deliciously seasoned, charbroiled and the portions were a very good amount. Since I'm in it, to win it... I also got the coconut cake, which was just as equally delicious. I consumed my food as if someone was trying to yank it from my hands, so I didn't take a picture of the food, but I have included what my food tray looked like after I demolished it . lol I highly recommend this place. My husband picked up the food for us and he said the employees were very nice as well. Hope their business thrives ! What a gem of a place

Siao Z.

Yelp
They only have one staff in the front as cashier and "server" ish. If you dine in, they will bring you the food but it is in a togo box. I'm okay with that. They seem kind of low staffed. I went on a Saturday around 6-6:30 pm (towards closing time, they close at 7pm). It took the staff awhile before she could even get to us, about 5 minute waiting to put in an order. She is super friendly though. Then after ordering, it took about another 20 minutes before we even got our food. This is the only place nearby that would serve loco moco at a decent price though. Big plate. Everything was rice beneath the loco moco gravy and egg. Love the loco moco and would come back for that. Mac salad that comes with it is also good. Dislike resulting in docking one star: Observation: I understand they make the order as it is ordered, but I see other people coming in after me for togo order and they got the food before mines. Not docking off a star because I will give them the benefit of doubt where its a phone togo orders. 1) The Kalbi was way too sweet. The meat is nice, have some fat, but some of them is just fat. The meat itself without the sauce I think would be good. 2) Too hot inside. To dine in, it was super hot and it feels stuffy especially summer time. I had to sit near the AC in the corner in order for me to cool down a bit and enjoy the food. One side of the restaurant (ordering side) does not have the fan on so that was stuffy, the other side (in the picture) have the fan on and feels a bit better, just not enough to beat the heat.

Yelp
My wife & I discovered this Hawaiian food place a few months ago via Yelp, and we can't stop going here for food. It's truly authentic Hawaiian food. I've ordered one of their BBQ plates each and every time we've gone here. My wife has consistently kept ordering the Ahi Tuna Poke Nachos each time. For the BBQ plate, my favorite protein is the BBQ Chicken. It's super flavorful, moist, and perfectly charred. My second favorite protein option would be the Kalbi short ribs. They are also really good overall. My meat choice that I wasn't a fan of was the kalua pork. I think it wasn't flavorful enough and I wasn't a fan of Kalua pork even when I've tried it at other restaurants when we visited Hawaii last year. The Ahi Tuna Poke nachos are truly authentic. In fact, we both think it's comparable or even better than some of the poke we had in Oahu! Overall, we have recommended this restaurant to everyone that lives in the IE or have come to visit us at our home in Ontario since it's not that far of a drive for us to head down here.

Elba G.

Yelp
This is such an excellent addition to the Inland Empire poke scene. Super authentic, friendly and very VERY CLEAN! This place is SO CLEAN. I walked in and was blown away at how spotless the place is. I literally thought it was brand new but this family restaurant is just so loved and cared for. The staff is extremely friendly and eager to see you. Recommendations are provided if you need some. Everyone is smiling and having such a good time. You can tell that they work very hard to maintain such a positive environment. The food does take a little bit to make (15mins or so) and I am very okay with this because it is FRESH. The poke obviously will come out quicker but all the grilled dishes are SOOOO fresh. The meat they use is amazing grade and the chicken is so juicy. I loved every bit of food that was purchased. The tuna used in the poke was delicious and very flavorful. Everything was seasoned perfectly and did not overpower the fish. Love to see that this place is thriving. Parking is limited but well worth it!

Natalie L.

Yelp
It was pretty average, the girl who rang us up didn't seem super knowledgeable when I was asking her questions. Brought out things like Katsu with no sauce, had to go ask for it.

Mindy T.

Yelp
Coming back from Hawaii, we were craving some fresh ahi poke. It was so difficult to find a Hawaiian style ahi poke but I stumbled upon this place and knew we had to try it. It was delicious! So fresh and tasted like poke in Hawaii. The main complaint is the portion. I thought it would fill the container but it was about half. We also tried their plate lunch. Big fan of their Mac salad, pork, and chicken, but not so much their beef/galbi ribs. It was too fatty. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu.

Super G.

Yelp
The food was amazing! Everything had flavor! Way better than Ono! The lady at the register was really helpful and nice. The place is a nice, a little cafe. Parking in back.

Britnee P.

Yelp
Found a little hole in the wall for authentic Hawaiian food. We got the large plate with kalbi, kahlua pork and double mac. Chicken katsu plate with double mac and side of fried rice. All their food is a bit on the saltier side, so adding extra sauces makes it over the top salty. Overall the quality and portions were very good. The service is quick and the restaurant was clean.

Stephanie F.

Yelp
Finally came around to trying this place after so long! Although parking and their location can be somewhat inconvenient, this spot has a great ambiance and a very large and clean interior! The service was extremely helpful, and I ended up opting to try two different poke styles, shrimp plate, and musubi. I found that the shrimp plate was pretty good and the spicy garlic ahi was excellent! The shoyu ahi for some reason tasted less fresh than the garlic ahi but it may have been due to it being evening when I had went. Although the food from Hawai'i can't be beat, this is a great spot for it being located in the IE! We also got the coconut cake which was delicious, light, and not too sweet.

Tiffany L.

Yelp
The korean fried chicken plate was so good ! The portions were hugeeee and the quality was top notch. Little parking in thr lot itself so i would suggest parking in the lot over. The chicken was so flavorful and juicy. Service was super nice and plenty of seating inside

Francis D.

Yelp
I saw rose place when I was driving so I decided to try it out. Coming in, there place was clean and welcoming. We ordered the XL plate and the Musubi. The XL player has 3 proteins: beef, kahlua pork, and chicken services with rice and macaroni salad. The portion size was good. For 18 dollars you could surely share between 2-3 people. Taste wise it was ok, nothing groundbreaking but more or less comparable to similar Hawaiian places. it's able to satisfy your craving. I needed to put a some sauce to add a little more flavor to the proteins. A good place to try out of you are in the area.

Cynthia L.

Yelp
Food is so delicious! Ordered the garlic shrimp, kalua pork sliders, and a large plate with chicken and kalbi beef. Everything was great. Give it a try!

Linda K.

Yelp
First-time diners. Not disappointed. Parking is manageable. Great service. Absolutely delicious on every level!

Aaron B.

Yelp
The restaurant is a converted house but it has the feel of being in Hawaii. The staff was friendly and the food delicious. We are already talking about our next visit.

Michelle I.

Yelp
This is a long overdue review from February this year. This is a chill and casual place to dine with true Hawaiian spirit. The folks who work here are actually from Hawaii, which was cool (because I've been to other Hawaiian food establishments but no one's from Hawaii). They were all friendly and helpful. The food is soooo onolicious! They don't skimp on their plate lunches. We tried their Kalbi, bbq chicken, garlic shrimp, and teriyaki beef mixed plates. The flavors were on point. The rice was cooked perfectly. Mac salad had the right pasta and mayo ratio. I wished they had veggie or tossed salad option or at least shredded cabbage under the meat for some fresh crunch and fiber. Will be back for more! I wished I took pics of the other foods. My family was hungry, so they scarfed down the food fast! Lol Tip: Parking lot is very small and tight. If you have a large or long vehicle, I suggest side street parking.

Yelp
I randomly came cross North Shore Plate Lunch on Yelp and it is definitely a hidden gem! I have been looking for authentic Hawaiian food/plate lunch ever since coming back from Oahu and let me tell you, this place definitely fulfilled my cravings!!! Their poke is amazing and has that "buttery" texture just like the islands. I ordered the garlic shrimp and chicken katsu plate both of which were delicious. We ordered all 4 flavors of poke with chips on the side and I literally felt like I was eating poke at Foodland lol. I can't believe this place exists in Norco - you really feel like you're in Hawaii when you enter the restaurant!! The staff are super friendly and provided quality service - highly recommend!

Abraham K.

Yelp
Authentic Hawaiian food. Fresh ingredients and inside of the restaurant was super clean.

Kayla T.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I have been trying out new food spots out in the IE since I just moved out here from LA and wow this place is amazing not only is the food delicious but the customer service was good! The workers were very friendly and nice. This place made me feel very comfortable! Thank you!

Rhina M.

Yelp
The food was amazing! Kalbi was not too sweet. Everything was all flavor and cooked to perfection. The cake was so good that we enjoyed it after our meal. The service was great! The ambiance was awesome. We felt like we were in the island. We will definitely come back soon! I do wish that they would consider being more eco friendly. Styrofoam containers are just not appealing and unsafe.

Floyd R.

Yelp
I just tried this place for the first time. One word delicious a must try. Food was fresh, hot, and YUMMY I will be back for more..... I can't wait to try the Loco moco

A A.

Yelp
This was such a nice surprise to find in this area. The food was Delicious and amazing service!

Ian M.

Yelp
Fantastic Hawaiian Plate Lunch spot in Norco, CA. The servings are huge but they have scaleable sizes and plates to match just about any appetite. Everything is cooked to order, so although it takes 10-15 minutes for your food to be delivered, it's absolutely worth it! The interior decor is a collection of televisions showing videos of surfers and large waves along with some signage and a miniature Hale'iwa North Shore sign just like the original that greets you as you arrive on Oahu's North Shore. Today's lunch was a plate of Kalbi Short Ribs and BBQ Chicken served with Mac salad and white rice Delicious!

On our way home from Las Vegas we got hungry as we were nearing Norco. I noticed North Shore Plate Lunch was nearby and we stopped to try it. I ordered the XL lunch which included 3 meats. Kalbi was tender and full of flavor. I liked the sauce on top which added a bit of sweetness. This was my favorite meat. Kalua pork was very tender and full of flavor. A bit more Hawaiian sea salt than I would prefer. Went well with the mild and moist white rice. Bbq chicken was full of smoky flavor with a very nice char. Tender and juicy. Hawaiian Sun drinks are available here and I tried a strawberry lilikoi. Loved the sweet fruity flavor. For dessert I tried the red cake which I think was passion fruit cake. Top layer was like passion fruit flavored jelly. Underneath was some whipped cream and passion fruit flavored cake. Lots of sweetness and passion fruit flavor. A bit too sweet for me. Soda water from the soda machine was very refreshing. Staff was very friendly and checked on us when they could. North Shore Plate Lunch is a great place to get some tasty Hawaiian food if you are near Norco.

Yelp
Da bes plate lunch. Their menu takes you back to the island. Great island grinds! The only item I haven't had would be the burger. Anyway the Mac salad, spot on! I'm planning a couple events and will have to talk to them about catering. They do that and also. Very good...... Chee hoooooo And of course DONT forget the dessert !! A hui hou

Yelp
My new obsession is North Shore! I've had it two weekends in a row and it does not disappoint. We had friends over so we made sure to order plenty of food. The wait for pick up was really long - but they were busy on a Saturday at 1. The food was amazing. You would never think to order a salad when there's all this greatness on the menu but their dressing is homemade and so tasty. The BBQ chicken is so juicy. The star of the order was the poke nachos! The wonton chips are AMAZING! By far by favorite plate of poke nachos I've had. The poke is like butter and is so smooth. Anything you order is bound to be delicious.

Yelp
Before I developed a sesame allergy, my go to was Korean Fried chicken so to my surprise, the mochiko chicken hit the spot! Definitely a place to check out if you're missing the islands! Oh and try the guava cake, you won't be disappointed

Yelp
Probably the closest thing to eating an authentic plate lunch in HI. The ambiance even feels like you're in the islands. I usually don't order poké unless i'm in the islands but this time I ordered the poké and the fish was good quality and soft, not chewy. Portions were big, so come hungry! Been wanting to go here for a while, so glad i finally did. Will be coming back for sure when i need a Hawaiian food fix.

Yelp
Great Hawaiian food served by great people! Everything is super authentic, probably my favorite Hawaiian food in like a 30 mile radius. Highly recommend the poki nachos!

Yelp
super excited to have found this place!! great food with reasonable prices and generous portions. the mochiko chicken was good, but personally i didn't love the mochiko flour scent. we also tried the garlic shrimp plate, which was my favorite of the two. definitely recommend if you're looking for solid hawaiian food in the area!

Yelp
Let me tell you something...I've had so many different Hawaiian places from OC to the Inland Empire and this place has them all beat. Yes, it really is that good. It's located in an awkward-ish spot with very limited parking, but I have no issue with that because I've always ordered to-go. The inside has plenty of seatings though, and it's very well maintained and clean! Service is fast and the staff is great. You always see people coming in to line up for their food and the staff treats everyone with a lot of patience and kindness. The loco moco is to die for!!! I order this at every Hawaiian place I go to and it's what makes or break the place for me because it's my favorite dish. Most places give you a thin layer of gravy but not here; the rice is drenched in gravy and I just can't get enough! Flavors are on point, meat patties not dried whatsoever and the mac salad is creamy and delicious. The poke nachos is also a must; fish is fresh, not fishy at all, wonton chips are thin and crispy, and the sauces drizzle on top (they have several options) is sooooo umami. I crave this place on a weekly basis. Lol 10/10

Yelp
If you want an authentic island experience you have to try this place! I've lived in Jurupa Valley for over 8 years now and I didn't realize such a gem was right in my backyard of Norco. Their musubi is always the perfect grab and go item since they often have it ready to go. But you absolutely have to try the plates. I've done the Teri beef and bbq chicken so far and both slap! This is hands down my go to Hawaiian spot.

Yelp
Just blown away by this place. The large plate with chicken and short rib may be the best thing I've ever eaten under $20. Very good quality, rich flavor, made FRESH. Also very considerate customer service. My 2nd time here there was a bit of a discrepancy in my order and they were very generous in making it right. I appreciate that kinda stuff. See you again soon north shore!
