Google
It's small, but I found strawberries and rhubarb on my recent visit, June 14. I also found honey for sale. A fun spot, with free parking in the street.

Love the farmers market! Several vendors to buy wares from with good food to eat while there. Nice play area and they always feature local music artists for entertainment. Anytime I have a chance I go for a fun and relaxing time.

Our first time here, and it was great! I was surprised at all the vegan friendly vendors. Everything we got was delicious!

I absolutely love the NE Minneapolis Farmers market. It is the only one I go to. It has everything you need: produce, baked goods, flowers, and lots of choices of ready to eat breakfast and lunch. There is always a food truck and a place to get a coffee. Vendors that aren't selling produce sell crafts, jewelry, soap, hot sauces, juices, and so much more. Vendors can change weekly so make sure to check the website if you're looking for a particular one. They host lots of fun events all year, so follow their Instagram to keep update. This is a great community market and definitely worth a Saturday visit.

Local small farmers and ranchers. Loved by the neighborhood. The fall bouquets look especially beautiful. Favorite to pick up picnic food for nearby Boom Island Park.

Came for the brat and corn feed. Both were tasty. There's veggie stalls and other vendors. I keep trying Empire Bakery's pastries, but am always disappointed. I tried their almond poppyseed muffin and found it so bland and dry.

Google
Nice local Farmers market with several vendors while still being small enough to see everything . Parking is a bit meh as it is across University Ave and on street but I have always been able to find a spot. Marked crosswalks on University are appreciated to impose crossing safety. I encourage visits to go and support small businesses!

Yelp
Great collection of product, food options, and craft goods to window shop and purchase from! I can also vouch that the coffee trailer that's here every week is also so good you should just skip making coffee at home before going. There's also a decent rotation of vendors between markets so there's always a variety of new and old when visiting. If you're on the hunt for something in specific I recommend coming early especially because a lot of the baked goods tend to sell out towards the end of the market hours. They also will throw events from time to time like live screen printing on shirts that you can watch and then purchase right then and there. Parking can get a bit hectic during peak hours since it's off a main road so be prepared to be an expert in patience when finding parking.

Yelp
This was my first visit to the Northeast Minneapolis Farmers Market which is located in the parking lot of St. Boniface Church. It was a chilly Spring Saturday when I visited, so not as crowded as I'd anticipate it would normally be on a Saturday around 11:45am. This is a laid back atmosphere with plenty of local vendors. I noticed baked goods, honey, vegetables, food vendors, and more. Pretty good variety. I also noticed that the list of vendors change as well. Although it was quite chilly (I should have brought my light winter jacket), it was nice to stroll the farmers market as it's one of my favorite things to do this time of year. I did notice on the sign while walking into the market dogs are not allowed, hours are 9am-1pm on Saturdays, and it's held rain or shine. Bonus, free street parking! I'm thinking I'll likely be back sometime later this summer.

Yelp
There is a farmer's market in NE Minneapolis every Saturday from 9 am-1 pm from mid-May to mid- October and it has so much to offer! Bouquets of flowers that are different each week, in-season fruits and vegetables, including uncommon options like Japanese eggplant and kohlrabi, small batch honey and maple syrup, jams and jerky, mushrooms, and tons of baked goods. There are also artists selling fishing lures, soaps, natural bug spray, woodworking, candles, jewelry and more. I love going in the morning and picking up breakfast there. For example, the vegan berry smoothie from Great Northern Microgreens I initially tried with some trepidation, but is now something I come back for (and I'm not the only one, because sometimes there is que of people waiting for smoothies). A croissant or quiche or muffin from one of the many bakeries is always a good option (and then I inevitably pick up dessert for later. A favorite treat of mine are the chocolate chip shortbread from Great Harvest Bread Co). Mogi Bagel has a huge following, and they are often sold out of most flavors by halfway through (see photo with a single bundle left at 11 am), so either pre-order your bagels for pick up, or get there early. The bagels are small, light and soft. They are easily compressible rather than being dense. The Cacio e Pepe flavor is pictured, and it was yummy lightly toasted with butter. Very flavorful. Speaking of yummy- Yummytizers has many great dips, but my favorite item are their veggie chips (not pictured because they had okra this week instead, but I was reassured the chips would be back next week). Delicious, colorful, and low-guilt! Most vendors give samples, so you can walk around the market trying bites and sips, then go back to get your favorites. There are also many vendors selling hot food, from spring rolls to pakora, to empanadas and breakfast sandwiches. No matter when you arrive, there will be something delicious to eat. Pro tip: There is a master gardener station, where you can ask for help identifying that random maybe-bush-maybe-tree growing in your yard, so take a photo beforehand. There are dining tables and chairs under a tent, so there is cover from rain and sun, as needed. And there is usually an activity that is kid-friendly (like a coloring station). There are no dogs allowed at this market, so leave your pets at home. Parking is possible either on the main street or on side streets and isn't that hard to find, as people are constantly coming and going. A great local event to check out when you have friends or family visiting!

Yelp
I always love going to this farmers market in the summer. The vendors are always so kind and there's so many varieties of items that you can get. I really enjoy getting all of my fresh fruits and vegetables and poultry as I'm able to. Parking options are all metered street parking or paid lots/ramps. I'm not sure if you're supposed to be allowed to use the restrooms in the mill city. However, there are restrooms available inside that building.

Yelp
The Northeast Farmers Marker is by far my favorite farmers market in the city! I love how community centered it is and it never feels overwhelmingly crowded. I typically go a few times a month and it's become such a ritual for me. I highly recommend going a little earlier when they open, grabbing a coffee and moseying around the different stands. I love that they support local businesses and always have such yummy food and treats available. I really enjoy when they have live music or even a dj. It's really such a treat to spend a Saturday morning here. The produce is always super fresh and the flowers are beautiful. If you're looking for a market that isn't congested and has an intimate feel, look no further. I love going to their corn & brat feed and their annual fall festival. Check them out!

Yelp
Update in the midst of new COVID-19 protocol: I really appreciate that the NE Farmers Market is taking safety very seriously. It's more essential than ever to be able to buy products from local farmers in vendors, and thankfully in an open-air setting! Here are some updates they made for their last Winter Market (4/19) that I hope will remain for the new season starting May 16th: - They list all of the participating vendors on their site ahead of time, and how to pre-order and pre-pay for each one - You must make an appointment to arrive. Simply submit the request on their site and they'll confirm via email. You can add the confirmation right to your calendar. - The first hour of the market is dedicated to high risk population. - They limit the amount of people in the market per appointment time, and check you in when entering. I pre-ordered a whole box full of meats from Johnson Family Pastures. They raise quality chicken, pork, grassfed beef and lamb from pasture-raised, heritage-breed livestock. Right now the pork and beef is in season, so I got tons of ribs, chops, ground meat, sausages, etc. I'm good to go! I also got some maple syrup from them. I preordered from Groveland Confections to satisfy my sweet tooth, and I couldn't help but buy some sauerkraut from Kiss My Cabbage in passing (though it's highly recommended to pre-order/pay). Essential essential essential!

Yelp
Oh~ what a COOL Farmer's Market!. This is a pop-up Farmer's Market held at the parking lot of St. Boniface Catholic Church. I visited today, on a lovely Autumn Saturday to celebrate their 1st Annual Fall Festival! For the celebration they offered Brand Farms hot apple cider, pumpkin carving/painting, trick-or-treating, music, dancing and delicious soups and stews! I got to enjoy a delicious ham and cheese crepe and wonderful coffee. There was a variety of vendors: fruits, veggies, flowers, home goods, pet supplies, specialty foods, and baked goods just to name a few. What a lovely way to spend a beautiful Saturday afternoon! LOVE!

Yelp
I absolutely love this farmer's market! It is kid and dog friendly and there is a wide array of vendors: fruits, veggies, home goods, pet supplies, specialty foods, baked goods, etc. And there are always a handful of food trucks and pop up shops that offer juice, donuts, coffee, and so on. I like the size and set-up because it's fairly small so it's well organized and not overwhelming. I would definitely recommend checking it out! Favorite offerings: Sssdude-nutz, Root to Rise Kitchen, Reverie Food Truck

Yelp
The NE Farmers Market is nailing it (for produce AND eats). I think I was expecting a cousin to the Kingfield Market. which, though wonderful for prepared food, is fairly small and not my favorite market for actual produce. However, instead I discovered tons of local vegetation, live music, bakeries and fantastic food trucks and stands (Anchor, Moral Omnivore, Natedogs and Gnocchi Me were there on Saturday). Older reviews have mentioned it's small size, but It's pretty hefty now! Other than the poor musician whose guitar was muffled by the generators (even with a microphone), I loved what I saw, what I bought, what I ate and the fact that the whole place was brimming with happy people on a sunny morning.

Yelp
Overall, the Nordeast Farmer's Market is a nice neighborhood option, but not a market worth going out of your way for. While it's not a large market, it does have a fairly wide selection of offerings. You'll typically find a handful of vendors slinging local produce, some vendors with prepared foods, some with knick-knacky offerings, a food truck or two and generally some live music to help soak in the surroundings. Not a bad option for those calling this part of Nordeast home.

Yelp
I was introduced to this farmers market when I volunteered to help out at the Free Arts MN booth with the Yelp Elite Squad! It's located in a church parking lot and there are plenty of free street parking nearby. This is one of the smaller farmers markets I've been to but it still has a good variety of locally grown produce. There are also stands and food trucks that sell drinks and baked goods as well to enjoy while walking around, as well as live music to accompany your shopping. It was a fun market to go to but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here as there are other markets closer to my house.

Yelp
Northeast Farmer's Market is like the little engine that could. It may be quaint, but the vendors try so hard to bring us Nordeasters quality goods! Some booths have great selection of in-season vegetables, others seem to be having a great time selling their small collection. Either way, it's an excellent place to spend the morning. They have coffee and delicious baked goods for the morning crowd and varying food trucks for the lunch crowd. I had Trinh for the first time here, and thought their banh mi was delicious! I'll save specifics for another review though... This little community cares about giving the patrons a great experience. Last Saturday there was an interactive survey. The idea was to grab a dot and tell them what would bring you back, what you would buy more of, and how far you travelled to get there. Really great concept, and wonderful to know that they care enough to get feedback.

Yelp
One of the best farmer's markets I've ever traipsed, haggled and dined at ever. The site is in a church parking lot on University so it's centrally located for the neighborhood and not too big that you'd have to walk 10min back to a vendor that had the best cucumbers. It's the perfect size... several farm vendors as well as many stands for fresh eats, local artists and a few bakeries with loaves of bread and treats. Sometimes there are food trucks. Today, I had the pleasure of experiencing Moral Omnivore! Lucky day. There was also a portable dog wash. This market is simply the coolest. The vendors here are friendly and often offer samples without even first making eye contact. Way to upsell! With live music, activities, delicious eats and smiling faces in ever direction it is sure to be a pleaser for a pre-brunch date, family outing or a solo adventure.

Yelp
Rainy day, but that didn't dampen the spirits of the people. This is a small farmers market, but it makes up for it in heart. The people at each of the booths were friendly and engaging. The produce was fresh and so tantalizing. Food on offer is various and everyone in our group loved what they tried. There were two sauces I liked so much I could see myself trying to find things to put them on. I will let you try for yourself and guess. I even got to try a new fruit/ vegetable I had never had. The schizandra berry ( in English) or Wuhan Wei Zi ( in Chinese). Bitter little bugger. It is often used in tea apparently. I brought some home to my hubby he loved it. Me I think I will try the tea. I also got the chance to do some facepainting for some of the local Littles. That was a challenge as I am not great with a brush, but they seemed happy. This place on a busy day must feel like the heart of the community. Even with the rain I saw neighbors greeting each other, while weaving in and out of the many stalls. Yes that was a good day. Thanks Yelp for getting me there.

Yelp
Smaller farmer's market but great produce. In and out in 10 minutes which is normally good but nice to linger...wish there was a bit more here.

Yelp
Oh yes - Do this, go here! So pleased with my local Farmers Market. I love the vendors that are available / I have purchased chutney, a Scrappy Green bag, Bee Brews (Ahhmazing soda syrup), many many veggies, a massage and popsicles. The market is truly a treat and a delight to my Saturdays. You will not be disappointed with a visit here!

Yelp
NE Farmers Market is a superb community farmers market offering fresh fruits and vegetables from local farmers. The produce is high quality and very affordable (only $3 for a tray of cucumbers?!) There are also vendors who sell bread, honey, soap, massage, jewelry, pottery, etc. There are great breakfast/brunch options to eat at the market. Delicious food such as the Moral Omnivore food truck, Gnocchi Me food stand and Molly's fresh spring rolls, which are made right in front of you. NE market has unique neighborhood feel. They accept EBT and credit cards if you run out of cash. Definitely worth starting your Saturday here!

Yelp
Awesome farmers market. Check it out on University every Saturday!

Terry S.

Yelp
What a great community market!!! Very kid friendly (they have a children's activity tent), dog friendly and community friendly (each week a different nonprofit is featured and EBT/food stamp cards are accepted). Plus a GREAT variety of vendors and artists, free music and tables to sit and chat with your friends and neighbors. They have most everything you need without the crowds and terrible parking of the Minneapolis Market and the high prices of the Mill City Market.

Yelp
Great place to pick up organic food and homemade treats! Usually has good live music (folk, bluegrass). A fun, nordeast summer hangout.
