Very cool part of the neighborhood with eclectic decor, a delicious menu, great drinks, and topnotch service. Accommodated six of us on a Saturday night without too much of a wait. Everyone left extremely satisfied. On my list for another visit!

Absolutely loved everything about this place. From the art on the walls, food/drink & the exceptionally clean bathrooms. Wait staff was terrific as well. Food was amazing. Party of 5. We shared the salmon tartare which had good texture & flavor that was accompanied by what appeared to be homemade chips to add a little saltiness (could use a few more chips). Smoked porchetta, social burger, smoked brisket & two servings of the baked reginette bolegnese were ordered. Everyone agreed all the dishes were delicious as we shared bites. The porchetta was better than any I've tried before. The bolognese (photo) was scarfed up quickly as those that ordered it felt it was phenomenal. I never had a chance to try the burger as my son devoured it. My favorite was the brisket sandwich with horseradish aioli. Wife ordered it but I totally could have ate my food plus all of hers as the horseradish kick blew my mind. Everything was lovely. Thank you!

Enjoyed a nice dinner on a recent evening - had the Crab Primavera Linguini, the Scallops & Pork loin for an appetizer, and the Caprice salad. The cocktails were good - the Ol Old Fashioned and a twist on the Lemon Drop.

The pasta at this Italian restaurant was absolutely delicious, and the staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly, checking in on us frequently. However, the dining area was incredibly crowded, making it difficult to hold a conversation with friends.

The food was great! I got the Classic Breakfast, and it was delicious! Service was great as well, staff was very friendly and attentive. Loved the atmosphere, and can't wait to go back.

We had 8pm reservations on a Wednesday before a show at 331 and we walked in around 730 expecting a wait but there were maybe a couple tables full. They sat us right next to the open window and it was a perfect summer night! We ordered the Pork Belly & Scallops, Cesar Salad, Duck Breast and Gnocchi. Everything was delicious and the amount was perfect for two people. We also enjoyed two cocktails each and dessert: the panna cotta. 🤤 The service was great and the ambiance was cozy with fun artwork on the walls. The menu was simple yet there were quite a few items I’d love to go back and try. They said the menu changes with the seasons and I’m already looking forward to the fall!

Stopped by for an early dinner, there was no wait, which was nice. Had the crab cake as a starter, and that was delicious. Our waitress was super helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. She had excellent timing - knew when to pop in for refills on drinks and waters and overall had a very positive attitude and vibe. We had the Burgers and fries for dinner, and they were amazing! The French Fries are addictive. The only bummer was the limited menu. Everything we had was great. We would have loved more food offerings. We will be back, we had an excellent experience.

Yelp
Found this place by accident after our planned dinner spot was closed. Wandered into a charming and classy dining space with a dark gothic Alice in wonderland vibe. Lots of art on the walls, black and blue and silver decor, and candlelight. Our server was busy tending bar but still had time to give us a detailed run down of the menu and all the specials. I got the social burger, which comes with deliciously crisp shoestring fries. The burger was just the right size and incredibly well seasoned. The soup of the day and brisket sandwich were also enjoyed by my companions. We got the seasonal cheesecake for dessert, which was turtle. Also very tasty. It started to get busy when we were getting ready to go so we had to wait a bit to get the bill but I didn't mind because I got to look at everything on the walls some more. Pretty convinced I found a magic portal to a delicious place last night when I walked in these doors.

Yelp
I really want to love this place. Great ambiance, location, and busy but never packed. My first experience was a takeout order during Covid to support local businesses. I don't like to review based on takeout so I left it be. It was nothing special and clearly previously frozen. Decided to stop in again but for brunch. They have a full bar but only list 3 drinks on the brunch menu. Mimosa, Irish coffee, and Bloody Mary. Their mimosas were a great pour and I didn't feel the need for more than one! We ordered the Crab Benedict and Eggs Florentine. Both had FANTASTIC flavor! Unfortunately, the poached eggs on the crab were practically hard boiled, and my Florentine was a soup. I had to drink the eggs. Not super pleasant. The flavor, as mentioned before, was yummy! Very buttery, with tangy roasted tomatoes. Service was good, and we didn't feel rushed. They have a host stand, but it wasn't super clear if you should seat yourself or not. I saw people doing both. Street parking but not too hard to find a spot. I will definitely give it one or two more tries and update my review. Need to go for dinner, and I'm curious to try their French toast!

Yelp
"Hidden Gem" and I only say that is because I have lived in this area of Northeast Minneapolis and never noticed it. We went on Valentines Day and the drinks and food were SO good. Even though it was busier because of the holiday our server was still very attentive and friendly. We ordered the beef carpaccio to start and then these may have been special dishes that night but we got the scallop puttanesca and the buccatini bolognese. Both entrees were extremely delicious. It was also snowing very hard that night and we sat right by the window it was so beautiful. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Northeast Social is a MUST for brunch! We needed a table for 5 (4 adults + 1 baby) for brunch on short notice and they went above & beyond to accommodate us. When we first walked in, we were delighted by the holiday decor. It feels reminiscent of the Hogwarts Great Hall at Christmas, and nothing can top that! (No ogres spotted). All the servers were helpful and fun. Beyond the good vibes, the food was phenomenal. The current brunch special is house made biscuits with sausage gravy, and it was so savory and flavorful without being overly heavy or salty. Others raved about the crab Benedict AND they custom made a traditional Benedict for our table, too. Phenomenal service and phenomenal experience! I can't wait to head back for dinner sometime soon.

Sara S.

Yelp
We couldn't get a reservation, so we sat at the bar. The main (male) bartender was quite rude, as others here have mentioned. The place is cute, but no one should have to put up with rude treatment. We got the baguette & sausage for appetizers, which were good. The burger was overcooked, but not terrible. Their desserts were unappealing to us, so we had dessert elsewhere. I used to love Eat Street Social, may it RIP. I won't return to this location.

Nicole N.

Yelp
This was the first time we tried Northeast Social and I can't say enough about how amazing everything was. Ambiance was stellar with some jazz music in the background, cool tin ceilings, eclectic artwork and comfy seating. Chase, the GM served us and he was prompt and helpful with the selections. Our apps and mains were spaced perfectly and drinks always refilled. On to the best part the food! It was delectable. The duck cooked to perfection, best duck ever, half a hen was scrumptious, crab linguine was picture perfect and packed with crab. The manicotti could feed two and my Italian father said the best he ever had. High praise indeed. I can't say enough good things we will definitely be back.

Yelp
This restaurant is a hidden treasure nestled a couple blocks off Broadway. The ambiance is curated to be an upscale cocktail and New American Cuisine establishment with friendly service. I was impressed by the knowledge the waiter had on the beer list and food options. I gave 4 stars because I ordered the Potato Cavatelli Cacio e Pepe and was not enthralled by the flavor (over peppery). Everything else was great!

Jay S.

Yelp
Perhaps I did not order the right type of food here but my first experience is merely okay in terms of food. The service is great and I had a very attentive and patient server. The location and space are also suitable for friendly conversations. Pretty much everything about the place is great. Just the food taste doesn't do it for me. This rating is in fact a 3.5 but I have chosen 3 because I do not think I can bring it up to a 4, unfortunately. The French baguette was good with butter but the bread itself was old and hard. I had an Ivorian friend with me who was a French cuisine connoisseur and she recognized the same issue. Then the gnocchi, which had flavor that I did not expect. It wasn't too creamy or rich, which was great. I think there might have been too much of the sun-dried tomatoes flavor but the sour taste from it was pretty strong. Maybe it is because sun-dried tomatoes are concentrated in terms of that flavor. The manicotti felt like it could be made in other more casual settings. The spinach basil cream felt a bit like artichoke dip, and the ricotta felt like it was not really prepared prior to putting them into the pasta. The bread was good despite not tasting fresh (kind of soggy). The rosemary honey panna cotta was amazing! Have a spoon of a bit of the panna cotta with the honey was truly a great experience. The flourless chocolate torte was great as well, especially since it was flourless it would tasted like it was missing something. But that was okay because the expectation was already there. I saw that some of their meat dishes are more popular, so if I decide to visit again, then I may give those a shot instead! But overall if people happen to be around the area, then I will still recommend them.

Yelp
Our friends picked our dinner spot and picked Northeast Social - a restaurant that I've always heard about but never actually been to. So I was pleased to finally get the chance to check it out. I had the Peach's Castle, which was lovely and peachy. We were with friends who are vegetarian, and it was nice that we could find appetizer options to share that everyone could eat. We got the market cheese, which is cheese, bread, some yummy like apricot preserves and some greens (yay veggies), and we got the mushroom bruschetta, which was pretty tasty. As a table, we ordered: the gnocchi, the scallops, the "arugula," which came with a thinly sliced peach on top... yum, and the chicken. My entree was the gnocchi. They TASTED great and I did clear my plate. But they were very dense and heavy, not light and pillowy like some gnocchi. The chicken was excellent. I would order that if we went back. And we split the panna cotta and the tiramisu for dessert, both of which were totally good. Our waiter (whose name I unfortunately forget) was great. Would definitely go back.

Yelp
I'm so happy that I was able to enjoy a date night here. It's been around 2 years since the last time I was here. It's still feels cozy and intimate which is why I loved coming the first place. Their decorations are very moody and have the place decorated for the Holidays. Our server was simply amazing and gave us great suggestions. We had the plate of cheese which came with 2 different types. My past year is not a cheese plate sort of guy and for him to say that he's glad he was able to try it because he would of missed out was awesome. I agree as well that both cheeses were very very tasty. I do wish their were more slices of bread as the cheese was pretty big and by the end you were left with just taking big bites which I don't mind since I'm a cheese lover. I tried the old fashioned and it was good! The main meal was steak and the vegetables were cooked perfectly and the steak as well. It had great seasoning and loved how crispy the potatoes were crispy on the outside and very fluffy in the inside. I also tried the rigatoni and that was such a warm dish because of the spices. Definitely a must try during this cold season. Now for the finally the rosemary panna cotta with warm honey was the star! I've never had a dessert quiet like that one it was incredibly creamy and you get a subtle taste of rosemary. I'm not ashamed to say that I did scrap off the rest of the honey and it was so worth it. I truly want to come back again for dessert! What a great experience this was!

Yelp
We had a reservation for later but snuck in early and they accommodated us at the bar and then even prepared a table later for us. Took a bit for staff to greet us at the door but otherwise service was amazing. I really felt they cared about giving us a nice experience and were so attentive, friendly and each had their own recommendations. Drinks - old fashioned and the potato one Both fantastic. I liked the one I chose (sweet potato and rum the most I think I had 4 oops) Food - beef capriccio was the stunner - amazing We also had the manicotti and the short rib. Both delicious and portions are so large! We could have shared one entree but I'm not complaining!! Desert was the Pana cotta - it's not super sweet. Texture is wonderful!!

Yelp
After being away from this destination for quite a while, due to the pandemic, I've returned this year - twice, to be exact. Each time was to be able to enjoy a little food and drink before walking down the sidewalk to Theater Latte Da to see a play. Both times, my companion and I have opted to sit at the bar; neither time did we have a reservation. Lucky for us there were open seats at the bar, allowing us to interact with their wonderful bartender (and now, for the life of me, I cannot recall his name). He's attentive without being overly so, and so informative, helpful and pleasant. And he makes very tasty cocktails! We've eaten the beef carpaccio (and enjoyed it immensely) as well as the braised octopus crudo (we ordered both times we've been here this year) - what an amazing dish! Also, we ordered their "flatbread of the day" once and it was wonderful, too. The staff we've encountered work well together, fluidly, effortlessly, very much like a well-oiled machine. And it shows on their faces and in their actions that they're enjoying what they're doing there, together. I look forward to returning again and again.

Sandi S.

Yelp
Very nice atmosphere and wonderfully friendly staff. We went for cocktails and appetizers and enjoyed everything.

Raquel L.

Yelp
Omgee!! You've got to try the stuffed French toast!! Amazing! It's the perfect blend of peaches and sweetness. Any time you're in the neighborhood drop in Joe is the bomb.com!

Yelp
I dined here on Valentines Day and was a little embarrassed to have talked this place up to my date. Is this "upscale casual" restaurant trend just a gimmick to provide average service and average food at ghastly prices? The tenderloin entree, served with fingerling potatoes and broccolini, was disappointing. Underdone and flavorless potatoes, underdone broccolini, all accompanying a not-so-tender cut of steak. Eh. The braised short rib came out looking rather unappealing, plated more as a stew with whatever sauces and juices were sloppily scooped on. Tasty cocktails and a panna cotta ordered out of main course dissatisfaction were the highlights. For the prices I don't think I'll return.

Lori N.

Yelp
This is located very close to where my daughter lives. We went for wine and appis. We got a flat bread that was so delicious. Sat outside super cute. But most definite will go back for dinner inside sometime.

Eris D.

Yelp
I like the vibe and the food. The people are nice. Nothing bad happened. Good aperol spritz.

Erin P.

Yelp
We discovered this little gem of a place because the wait at Young Joni was crazy, and wow. From the homemade sausage appetizer to the entrees to the cocktails and finally to the so-good-I-got-a-little-emotional Rosemary Panna Cotta we had for dessert, everything was delicious. Add that to the enthusiastic and friendly service and I think I have my new fav place in the neighborhood. Now I just wish we lived here.

Mical S.

Yelp
Food was good. Service is terrible. Amy, the waitress was quite rude and unhelpful to my coworkers and I.

Noelle T.

Yelp
The Toothpivk Review: Plating 10, 9, 9 really pretty Food 6, 7.5, 8 didn't like the risotto, linguini was not good Service 8, 9, 9 attentive, suggestive Overall 8.5, 8, 8.5 always room for improvement  Would you return? Yes! We much enjoyed the cheese plate, though I had mixed emotions about the onion marmalade. Loved the baguette and garlic butter. The hand made lemonade was the best I've ever had. Of the main course the Bolognese was the best. Ibwould order that again!

Mandy B.

Yelp
The octopus crudo was delish and the service was excellent. Whatever you do, get the baguette off the appetizer menu- the butter it comes with is out of this world.

Savannah K.

Yelp
My husband and I went to Northeast Social for dinner one night and had a great experience. The food was great and the service was even better. I really enjoyed their space as well. We got the Bolognese and the Prime Manhattan Strip - both super delicious and well cooked! We'll be returning for sure! Thankful that this gem is walking distance from our home

Yelp
Two words: Beef carpaccio. Ok a few more words: cheese plate and pork chop too. Northeast Social has some incredible food on their menu and I want it all the dang time. Their beef carpaccio comes in a small and large size, and their "small" is served like a 2ft plate. Each slice of (raw) beef is sliced so thin, making it melt-in-your-mouth good. It's simply dressed with cracked black pepper, lemon, olive oil, microgreens, and served with baguette slices... bless the beef gods; it's heavenly. Their cheese plate is lovely too. Their pork chop though... we can't stop talking about it. It really set the bar for all chops o' pork going forward. It was thick, meaty, a juicy, and had incredible grilled flavor. I also loved my market fist. I forget what kind it was, but it was new to me and very meaty yet delicate. The space is gorgeous too. I love the high ornate ceilings, beautiful bar, and cool local art. The only (slight) downsides were: my fish was raw in the middle, though the server said it should be cooked medium, so they simply re-fired it real quick. We were there were more cocktails that had bitter or less sweet profiles, but they also have a full bar!

Ann L.

Yelp
We were in town on business, staying in a nearby suburb, and wanted to avoid chains. Yelp to the rescue yet again! We were so glad to find such a good option only about a 20 minute drive away from our hotel. The name is a little tricky to see in the restaurant window, but Google maps will get you there. We parked in a lot adjacent to the building which we were told was OK midweek as there were no events in the hall that shares the building with Northeast Social. There did seem to be plenty of street parking, but it was a little icy and we had a rental car, so the lot was a nice option. The menu changes seasonally, and they still had the winter menu going mid March which was fine with us! The cocktail menu had a lot of fun options. I went with the Urban Paradise which was excellent. For my entree I had the seared duck breast which was tender and so flavorful! The portion was very generous and the beet risotto and roasted squash were wonderful accompaniments. I was pretty full, but couldn't resist the rosemary honey panna cotta. Our server said this never leaves the menu, and I can see why. It was creamy, delicious and rosemary and honey actually pair extremely well. This is an excellent option if you are up for a bit of a flavor adventure. The atmosphere was great. I loved the tin ceilings and retro decor. This seems like a neighborhood place, but we didn't feel at all out of place as visitors. Everyone was friendly, knew the menu well, and we had a great, relaxing dinner after a long day of meetings.

Yelp
This was our first time eating here and got the BBQ meal for 2 delivered. Getting BBQ delivery is not ideal so expectations should be lowered a little bit. With that in mind we thought this was average overall. There were some bright spots - the brisket was my favorite meat with great flavor, and pulled pork just behind that. The ribs were really tough, not sure if this is a product of delivery or if they are always like this. The BBQ sauce was fantastic though so that made up for some lost ground on textures and flavors on the meat. As for the sides the collard greens were by far and away the best in my opinion with a perfect amount of heat (other than heavily buttered texas toast, I mean come on). The beans didn't carry much flavor and the brussel sprouts were quite stiff and didn't have much flavor unless you grabbed a piece of the bacon mixed in. Overall there was definitely plenty of food for 2 people and I loved having all the different items. That said I think the quality could be a little higher for a $50 meal, but am willing to give this another shot when we are allowed to dine in and see if that changes my mind.

John P.

Yelp
Great food and people. As always!!! Been eating here since they opened. Exceptional food and service.

Taya B.

Yelp
Wonderful service and possibly the best burger I have ever had. They have amazing artisan cocktails as well. I'm only sad I didn't find this place sooner.

Connie D.

Yelp
Wow! I am so impressed with this place! Although the space is pretty small, it was very cozy and the service was on point! We had a reservation at 6:30pm on a Friday-the table was ready was ready when we arrived and we were seated right away! Within a few seconds, our water glasses were filled and we began to explore the menu. Our server came by shortly to ask if we had any questions on the drinks, someone from my party did and he was able to answer her questions and provide recommendations that fit her tastes. I ordered the Social Greenie- it was perfect and very refreshing! For dinner, I had the seared duck breast. It came with charred kale, endives, and apricots. Everything paired so well together! The duck breast was juicy and flavorful and not dry, as duck can sometimes get. The kale/endives complimented the apricots beautifully! Although this place is a bit spendy, it was well worth what I paid. I will definitely come back to try the other dishes!

Matt B.

Yelp
Solid date night spot! I've never had beef caprice before, but it was pretty good appetizer! Very thin sliced raw meet with good seasoning on it! My meal was great! Meat was well cooked, mash potatoes were perfect (not enough though, wanted more!), and the broccoli was actually a little spicy which was cool. My girlfriend got the chicken and the meat looked like it was falling off the bone it was so tender! The bite i tried was delicious! She got to the middle of it though at one part and there was a little blood still and looked uncooked fully, but was still great! Overall, little pricy $$$ all in for 2 meals, app, and 2 drinks, but the place was really nice and food very good! 9.6/10!

Tedd M.

Yelp
Decland made our visit as great as the food. His service and knowledge of the menu, drinks and pairings were all on spot! We will definitely return, soon, and suggest everyone to follow. One of the best beef carpaccio in town!

Julie B.

Yelp
Cheeseburger + old fashioned = delish! Good service. One little complaint- it's a little loud.

Song H.

Yelp
I forgot to make reservations. One hour before dinner scrambling to get a table on a Friday night at prime time 7pm. We got in right away. The place was not very busy at all. Hoped it was not a bad sign. The small plates were pretty big. We ordered mussels, French baguette and sausage and they were all well proportioned. For entrees, we had pork shank, duck breast, ribeye and fettuccine. Everything was good. Not OMG this is the best thing I ever had good, but definitely a solid meal. Service was great!

Krysta U.

Yelp
This place was pretty tasty. We came for lunch and they had their brunch menu out. Their half pound burger was amazing. Would definitely recommend if you're here. My husband got the biscuits and gravy and those were very good as well. Both were very filling dishes. The service was ok. We had reservations yet they wouldn't let us sit further from the door to accommodate for a party that walked in right in front of us that the guy said they would be back shortly. Not very good customer service for parties that have pre made reservations with you. Also, the food took a while to come out even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. Overall, I would come back. Hopefully they change their customer service attitude though otherwise I probably won't be a regular customer

Amy T.

Yelp
The food was incredible! The atmosphere was wonderful, service was excellent and my cocktail was awesome too. The ambience was very warm and welcoming. We will be back for sure!

Roco K.

Yelp
The special cocktail was very good, and the octopus, steak were amazing. Chase, our server was very pleasant and professional. Thank you!

Uyen N.

Yelp
Hmmm... My girlfriend and I came here for brunch. Our reservations were for 11am but we got here a little earlier. No biggie. I ordered a Mimosa and my girlfriend ordered a Bloody Mary. Welp, they were out of Bloody Mary mix. At 10:30?! We wanted to share a savory and sweet dish; Biscuits and Gravy and the French Toast. Welp, they didn't have French Toast. Literally, our server was... "I just got here..." ‍ I've been so excited to have brunch here but, WHOA, huge disappointment.

Perry S.

Yelp
We arrived on Sunday, just as Theater Latte Da was getting out at the Ritz down the street. The cozy space filled rather quickly, yet the waitstaff was attentive and helpful in discussing the specials. This is the second "Social" restaurant in Minneapolis (the other is on "Eat Street." The menu is diverse and pleasantly adventurous for a local restaurant. Everyone in your party should find something to order. We started with the butter lettuce salad, which included 2 plump anchovies. The fish wasn't oily or too salty, and added a nice note to the garlic dressing. Next, the beef carpaccio, nicely presented with easy to remove slices of raw beef covered with cracked pepper and olive oil. There could have been a few more slices of baguette, but still recommended. The seared tuna was beautifully platted and delicious. There was a spicy bite to the coating, but otherwise perfectly done. The burgers were thick and juicy, and quite flavorful. The melted cheddar cheese added another flavor layer without cutting into the taste of the meat. Cut the burger in half so it's easier to manage. The only request our party had was TURN DOWN THE MUSIC!!!!!!!!!

Trish S.

Yelp
The food here is pretty good. I was generally happy with my Omelette du Jour, which was filled with spinach, mushrooms and a cheese blend that included ricotta. The potatoes were crispy, too. My husband's half-pound beef burger looked juicy (messy) from my seat, though the fries were utterly forgettable. That said, the music is too loud (on a Saturday morning) to hold a conversation. The service was slow and we heard the server complain a number of times that there were no reservations and she wanted to leave (it was about two hours after opening). Her attitude and the deafening jazz spoiled what could have been a nice brunch. The seating area has poor flow and moving people in/out was like trying to get out of a stadium seat. Don't hold the door, we're not coming back.

Shrewst ..

Yelp
Had their signature burger that came with string potatoes. Perfectly done to request of Medium well. Ordered a craft beer to wash it down. I joked to my friend that this joint had old hipster vibe as I scouted the neighborhood and entered the premises. Not off the mark.

Stacey L.

Yelp
On our most recent visit to Minneapolis we wanted to hit a brunch spot close to Dangerous Man so we could grab a seat and not have to stand ankles to elbows for the duration. We chose Northeast Social and I walked into a semi-goth paradise. Dark wood, faux-tin ceiling, and spooky art. Aesthetically, I was in love. I opted for the french toast and bacon. The bacon was thick, crispy, and a perfect counterpoint to the sweet french toast. I was grateful that real maple syrup was served with the french toast because while the flavor was good, it was quite dry. It either needed to be a little less stale or spend a little more time soaking. Northeast Social does some have lovely outdoor seating for brunch, but take note that it will quickly become engulfed in sunshine - the hostess was kind enough to give us that tip when we requested shade for my pale complexion. My dining companions enjoyed their meals and the bite of breakfast potatoes I tried from my friend's plate was delicious. The restaurant was surprisingly not busy on a Sunday morning so if you're looking at place without a wait you can start there! We used Yelp Reservations to ensure a table and got in within half an hour of starting to look for a restaurant on the app.

Michelle W.

Yelp
At the last minute I needed a reservation for a table of 5. Northeast Social was available on a Saturday night! The place is small and cozy. We were attended to promptly. Our drinks were delicious. The menu was limited with delicious choices. We all ordered pasta dishes which were nicely portioned and beautifully plated. Although a couple dishes needed a little salt, that was easy to fix. The atmosphere was nice and everyone enjoyed their meal. We were out the door with plenty of time to spare. I would definitely recommend!

B P.

Yelp
I am heartbroken and I am writing this review, for constructive criticism rather than complain. Regular here and haven't been disappointed. Surprised to have two disappointing dishes in one meal. Mussels didn't taste fresh, shouldn't be served. And then comes the lamb, lamb chops and leg of lamb grilled chunks. Leg of lamb is tough and needs to be marinated in order to be tenderized or slow roast. It was tough and dry, hardly edible, couldn't cut it, and or chew it. It's a shame.. Hopefully the chef was just a sub, and he can learn from my review..

Yelp
I visited a couple weeks ago on a Thursday night. I totally forgot to make reservations, so we ended up being seated at the bar (which we're fine with). I didn't realize reservations were necessary, so definitely keep that in mind if you try this place out. There were a few wines & beers on happy hour, so we each had a glass of wine. I'm not a huge wine buff, so I won't try to comment on that. I ordered the burger with fondue from the happy hour menu with mixed greens on the side. The mixed greens portion was huge; I loved it! The burger was fantastic, but I personally could have done without the fondue cheese (I'm not a big cheese fan despite my Midwestern roots). My boyfriend ordered the market fish and absolutely loved it. We had a Groupon to use that does not apply to happy hour items, so beware of them if you buy the Groupon! Our waiter was really nice though and adjusted our order so we could still use the Groupon. Overall, this is a very cute neighborhood spot that would be great for your next date night.

Yelp
Great cozy breakfast spot in Northeast Minneapolis!! Eggs Benedict with ham was delicious!!! The hollandaise sauce was awesome and the eggs were poached to perfection. The ham was juicy and tasty!! Came here for Sunday brunch and it wasn't crazy busy. Service was attentive and great.

Yelp
Overall not terrible but we won't be rushing back anytime soon. Service was pretty good. Food not so good; Mediocre mussels, I would not have served the ones they served us. Cocktails overpriced. Salad tasty but too small for price, it's lettuce come on! Gnocchi was decent but nothing to write home about. The other two items not worth mentioning.

Yelp
Cute novelty bar and restaurant with good burgers. The wait staff was super knowledgeable and had a lot of special dishes to select from. The dishes were priced well. Located in the suburbs of Minneapolis by Dead Man Brewery. I recommend the mussels and cheese platter as a great way to start your appetizers. The mussels had shallots, garlic, jalapeños, cilantro, mixed ginger BBQ miso sauce. Dish was super yummy with a lot gourmet flavors and spices. The Malbec was rich and full body taste. I recommend this location for a quick after work gathering. The half pound burger was cooked just right with crispy fries. A lot of food to hit the right spots. It was cooked a little bit too long but was super fresh.

Yelp
Ate here for a belated Valentines Celebration. The Ambiance was perfect for it. The restaurant was decorated with lush Christmas decorations... ate here in February so not sure if that was done on purpose or they just didn't feel like taking them down, but I didn't mind it! We ordered Scallops for appetizers which was amazing, we got the last order of the night luckily! For dinner I ordered the Butternut Squash Gnocchi and my husband ordered the Pork Chops. Both also very tasty and I would highly recommend ordering! The photos speak for themselves, so trust me when I say they taste as good as they look.

Yelp
Had two delightful meals at Northeast Social while staying at an Airbnb in the neighborhood. The beef carpaccio and gnocchi were standouts, along with the great service and delicious cocktails.

Yelp
Had a wonderful time here tonight. Delightful drinks by Javy! Really good food. Nice small bar/restaurant atmosphere. We sat at the bar and had warm olives, Potato Gnocchi and thinly sliced steak platter. So much food for two, but so delicious! And didn't break the bank either.
