Write a review while drinking a beer? Why not. I can set the glass down for 30 seconds at a time, I think.
Northern Pine has become my favorite brewery on the new Upper Decker, and has become in the top 3 among my favorite breweries overall.
Obviously, the beer is very, very good. The Saized and Confused is my go-to thus far, followed up by the Cracking Chaps Pale Ale. Like any SD brewery, they have IPAs, but killing your tongue with an onslaught of hops, like many SD breweries, isn't their objective.
The guys who work here are always helpful with the samples and guidance.
There is usually plenty of seating, either at the bar or on the adjacent tables at this far south end of the deck. There are 4 big TVs next the bar, usually running the current sportings.
I do have some opinions about the overall food court setup here, particularly about their treatment of disabled people who have service animals (those reviews aren't too difficult to find). My pup Ava, whose service involves finding french fries on the floor, is absolutely welcome on the Deck, just not in the food court below, which is fine.
Now I need to finish my Saison. I'll be back, and often!
