A very big shopping mall with 2 wings. There are a lot of shops for eating, snacks, shopping and entertainment. You can spend quite a fair bit of time here since the mall is quite big. And you can also lose your way too since the area is quite huge. The mall can be quite crowded too since it is also popular with the residents around the area.

Large suburban mall with a good variety of retail and F&B options. Try spotting this tribute to Singapore icons at L2 near Nee Soon Central Community Centre.

Northpoint City in Yishun is one of the largest suburban malls in northern Singapore, located just across from Yishun MRT station, making it highly accessible. The moment you exit the MRT, you’re greeted by the mall’s bright facade and a vibrant atmosphere filled with shoppers. It features a wide range of retail outlets, restaurants, cafes, and lifestyle services, making it a one-stop destination for everything from groceries to casual dining and fashion. There are popular international brands like McDonald’s, Starbucks, Uniqlo, and several Japanese restaurants that add to the culinary variety. You’ll also find supermarkets like Cold Storage and FairPrice, plus fitness centres and even a library within the complex. For families, there are kids’ activity zones and ample seating areas throughout the mall. That said, the mall layout can be slightly confusing, especially for first-time visitors. Despite the size and range of shops, the crowd levels during peak hours can be overwhelming. Navigation inside the mall becomes challenging due to the complex layout and lack of clearly visible signboards. Some areas, especially access paths from the MRT or between sections of the mall, aren’t intuitive, and there aren’t enough directory boards to help guide people efficiently. As a suggestion, the mall could significantly improve its user experience by installing more detailed and visible information boards or digital directories, particularly near entry points and busy junctions inside. This would be especially helpful for newcomers or tourists trying to find their way or locate specific stores. Improving crowd flow management in high-traffic zones would also enhance the shopping experience. Overall, Northpoint City is a bustling and resourceful mall with an impressive mix of tenants, but it would benefit greatly from more user-friendly signage and layout guidance to accommodate its high foot traffic.

I ordered Grilled fish with fresh green Pepper for 17.80, waited around 15min, and while I liked this cause it’s not so spicy , I didn’t enjoy the soup it is I feel less salt was added; it could be improved by putting more salt and decrease the waiting time.
