A Sunday tradition at Northside Town Center with live music and plenty of parking. Isthmus regularly recommends it; the City lists it as a SNAP-friendly market with Double Dollars to stretch produce budgets.

Love seeing the seasonal options roll though. I do recommend: the Feed Kitchen booth (for single pastry options and directly buying from them), Yellow Dog (for their produce selection), the spanish food booth (praise be to their steak taco!), and in the fall, the apple truck booth that has both standard options, and their latest experiment. Most vendors can take electronic payment, but prefer cash to cut down on processing fees

So chill. Lovely to do on a Sunday when it's not rainy. The food cart lines are long but totally worth it to get those good. Good good things

Small but mighty. They select a great mix of vendors with jam lady, fresh organic veggies and fruits, no hormone local meats, organic eggs, flowers, hot food vendors, fresh baked breads.

This is a great farmers mkt. It has plenty of parking, a good variety of vendors. Including food vendors.

This is a great farmers market! Dogs allowed if on leash. The chicken green chili tamales are the best!

I love going to the market every Sunday and usually go early. Take just so much cash in one pocket, keys in the other my own market bag and wear my mask. Everyone selling are so polite and helpful and shoppers on the whole complying with the rules. Everything so fresh.

Yelp
We enjoyed a lovely Sunday morning at the Northside Farmers Market. This farmers market is located in the parking lot in front of Willy Street Co-op. It's a really large space and has plenty of parking all around it. They had everything you could hope for; micro greens, baked goods, produce, meat, personal care items, live music and more! Several booths were offering samples to try before purchasing. We enjoyed trying cheese curds and baked goods from various stands. The live music was a really nice touch. People were dancing and singing as they were browsing the different booths. It was a lovely morning and we got to take plenty of delicious produce home with us. We will be back!

Yelp
Wonderful small farmers market with....actual farmers! Eggs, lamb, cheese, beef and pork all local. Alot of whatever is seasonal and not alot of everything else. A few truly authentic food stands and more friendly folks than you could chat with. I love its intimate size and knowing that I now have 'a guy' for nearly anything local and organic.

Yelp
Sometimes Saturdays are too busy to get to a Farmer's Market. So this Sunday market is great! There is a nice number of local farmers and there are different types of products brought in. A center tent with coffee and information. Several chairs for gathering. A musical act. This little gathering is worth going to!

Yelp
This market has turned into my favorite in town. We live in the neighborhood and witnessed the organizers constantly creating and attracting new things over the past several years. Every Sunday you can find meats, fish, fresh eggs (the big market downtown is ALWAYS out of eggs), sausages, vegetables, canned goods, spices, plants, soaps, cheese, bakery (even gluten free)... The list goes on. In addition to the edibles, they have an info booth with all kinds of community info, free coffee, live music, food carts, and even a master gardener to help you grow a green thumb. It's a mini neighborhood festival every Sunday morning! It's also a dog friendly market.

Yelp
This isn't the Dane County Farmers Market. This is a lot smaller, the length of a small block inside a shopping center. There's a decent variety of items to choose from--lots of fruits and vegetables, honey, maple syrup, meat, milk, baked goods. The quality of the food is just as good as the big farmers market, and it is a lot less crowded. Although there's usually something going on, such as a cook-off or some musicians, I'd go here just to get some food for dinner, whereas I'd go to the downtown market as a bit 1-2 hour outing.

Yelp
I love summertime in Madison because you can find a farmer's market just about any day of the week. This Sunday market really delivers. You can munch kettle corn or crab rangoons while you check out the bounty. It's smaller and more compact than the downtown market--and that's just my speed. Unlike many, I am not a fan of hot spicy cheese bread, so I don't miss it at all at these other farmer's markets. The tamales sold here are SO much more delicious.

Yelp
If you want to get in, get your produce and get out, and you live on the North or East side of town, check it out. They have pretty much everything you missed at the Downtown market the day before (except for Spicy Cheese Bread- haven't seen much bakery stuff there), but without the crowds and paid parking. The vendors are great. Some sort of prepared food is usually offered, and sometimes there is music and cooking or canning demonstrations.

Yelp
This is definitely smaller than the farmer's market downtown, but that isn't a bad thing, personally I've grown to hate the sluggish crowds down on the square. This is a nice smaller market, prices seemed like they cheaper than what you find downtown too. Plenty of parking of course, since it's in a parking lot.
