Northville Sports Den

Bar tender was outstanding!! Sadly, I waited 30 minutes for 17 dollar nachos that were tiny. I have NEVER received a smaller nacho for 17 points. Very disappointing!!!

Great place to visit. We eat well, good beer, great service. If you like sports, you should visit this restaurant.

I've come here a few times, and I've always enjoyed it. It was especially good this last time I came. The food was amazing as always, the atmosphere was very enjoyable, and the service was amazing. Kendall was very pleasant, and Olivia, who I learned was training for her first time that very night, was extremely sweet and helpful. I hope to see more of them in the future when I come back.

Tori was awesome! She was super friendly, made sure we had everything we needed, and really made our time at The Den a great experience. You can tell she cares about her guests. I thought the food was just okay, but enjoyed the environment and service so would probably come back.

Overall bad experience. Came here for lunch with my friends on a hot day, and service was ridiculously slow. Literally waited an hour for small sliders. Pretzel bites came out relatively quick, and weren't bad. After I asked for the sliders our waitress suggested the kids burgers as they were the same thing but cheaper. Not only did they take extremely long to come out on a non busy day, but they weren’t even the sliders. Just buns and meat. Nothing that was on the sliders was on my small burgers. They were also dry and flavorless. Our waitress also mixed up our waters when she took them to refill. The only way we knew was because my friend chewed on his straw and I realized she mixed ours up. How hard is it to just grab new straws or bring new waters to the table? If you somehow want to come here, just stick with appetizers and watch a game.

3.5 Stars if I could do half stars. Food was definitely better than expected overall, but it was hit or miss for the party. Some meals gave me the expected 3/5 star food experience, but the Ruben and the Chicken sandwich definitely hit above its class. Burgers were meh, and wraps were meh, so I can’t justify a higher google rating than 3 stars unfortunately. Food also came out slow, however, and a few minor serving inconveniences like no silverware and not enough water for the table. Overall I’d come here again happily as a backup. The happy hour deals are pretty good and it goes until 7PM which is a nice plus for late workers.

I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant, and I can't speak highly enough about my experience. Our waitress, Morgan, was absolutely amazing – friendly, personable, and attentive. It felt like we were hanging out with an old friend. The food was incredible, and the atmosphere made everything even better. I even asked Morgan to create a custom drink that wasn't on the menu, and she nailed it! It was perfect and exactly what I was hoping for. My friend Kait and I had an unforgettable time, and we’ll definitely be returning every weekend. Thanks again, Morgan, for making our visit so special! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and top-notch service!

The great service and food have made this a regular spot for me and friends Monday night. The drinks are great and the environment is welcoming!!! Kendall, Abby, Alana and all staff have been the best around!!!

I booked the banquet room for a surprise milestone birthday for my wife and her sister. we had pizza, a nacho buffet and a nice large dinner salad. Ended up having more than 40 family members, new and old friends attend the event. I ordered all different types of toppings on the pizzas, and ordered them extra crispy and extra sauce. I forgot how great the Dens pizzas are. Over the years pizza wasn't an entree I would typically order. But the pizza is really good. The waitstaff prepared the banquet room for the event, and did a great job. The food came out in a timely manner, and I noticed everyone seemed to be able to get a dish and not wait in a big line. Also, the overall cost of the event was very reasonable. If you have an event you are planning in the not to distant future, check out the Den, highly recommended.

Great spot to watch sporting events! They offer a wide range of options for food and great drinks. They have a lot of tvs throughout and a very nice patio with tvs, too! We had a few drinks and ordered pizza. It was delicious!! One thing to improve upon is the wait staff. We had to flag her down to get drinks every time.

Burger was good but was arranged like the cook was a newborn stacking blocks and did not come with the shoestring fries as ordered but came with bland chips.

The service was terrible. The server did not put our food order in for at least 45 mins of being there so we didn't get our food until an hour later. She forgot to place our order with their kitchen and so we were left waiting for a ridiculous amount of time. It was so frustrating to see other tables (who btw arrived way after us) receive and finish their whole meal while we waited for our food. The food was okay and the drink was the only good part of my dining experience. This place was a nice hangout spot but I don't think I would wanna come back after that experience.

Standard bar but we enjoyed the drinks and pizza. Love supporting a local bar. I like that they have a patio also and that it's in the heart of Northville. Service was good & it's a fun atmosphere with lots of TVs. The place fills up with fun on Trivia night! They do have a happy hour and daily specials so that is always appreciated!

Bad food. No matter when ive come here no matter the month no matter the food ..... it is definitely phoned in half asssws bottom of the barrel worst in town - dont bother Kinda food that makes fast foo seem gourmet

Well first time there. Our waitress was great but the food was kind of missing taste. Each of the 4 of us had something different but we all said lack of flavor. However the fried chicken sandwich was barely chicken, mostly fried. I got garlic parm wings and they pretty much tasted like the lemon pepper dry rub appetizer wings, again not much of a taste but with ranch dressing they were great. French onion soup? Boring. Spinach artichoke dip was good. Pricey drinks. We said we would go back and try pizza maybe as it looked good. Judge for yourself

Several years ago, this was one of my favorite sports bar in the area. Well, let's face it, the options are limited in Northville and Novi. But, great downtown location. Lots of TV's. Big bar and you could typically grab a stool anytime except during really popular sporting events or prime time Friday/Saturday. As far as food, the pizza is really good and so are the wings. The sliders were good, just kinda pricey - I think $15 for 3 small sliders. I felt their raved-up tacos were bland and few sauces available to spice them up. I had a few entrees that were below average. The domestic drafts were priced decent for Northville. Also, the bartenders were friendly, attentive and as accommodating. Morgan and Alana were great. Lastly, they are open late - not too common for the area. I stopped going for 2 reasons: (1.) Prices increased overall and for example, domestic pints increased by $1 and in general seeing typical Northville inflated prices (2.) I found that many specials or promotions always "fine print" or some unknown restrictions. Pizza is 1/2 off on Thursday's but dine in only. That was not clear; but really did not have to be because previously the bartenders simply allowed you to get a 1/2 pizza to go if you were spending money drinking - and tipping. Well, of course a new bartender was hired. I ordered a to go pizza, drank 2-3 beers and the bill came. Not 1/2 off. I asked. She explained. She would not budge. Also, on the bill - a 20 or 22 oz domestic Miller Lite was now $7.50. Another promo was the $2.50 Lions Game Day Miller Lite Pints. After a few weeks, that turned into $2.50 only during the game time itself (the promo sign says "Game Day" and not "During the game". And, a few weeks later, they were "out" of Miller Lite conveniently during game time - but, the gigantic sign promoting it remained. So, I ordered a Guiness. I had 2. Two 16oz (not 20oz) Guiness was $18. $9 bucks for a 16oz Guiness and not even a decent pour with the head.

I just had my daughter's graduation party in their separate banquet room. Alana was fantastic in getting it arranged for us, the food was really good and well priced, and Hannah and Abby were fantastic in taking care of everything our party needed. It was perfect! I couldn't have asked for anything better. I highly recommend the Northville Sports Den for anyone having a special event.

This used to be one of my go to spots for pizza and whatever menu change they had, they ruined their pizza. It was terrible!! The cheese felt like you were eating a sticky wax. It was genuinely hard to get down. The sauce tasted like something out of a frozen cheap pizza. So disappointing.

I recently visited The Den and it's now my go-to spot for catching the big game! The place has just the right mix of high-energy vibes and comfort. TVs Everywhere! There's no bad seat in the house--everywhere you turn, there's a big screen playing every meaningful game. The menu has a good variety of comfort food. Their jumbo wings are crispy perfection, and the ultimate nachos and pizza are a must-try! They have ice-cold beer and an extensive draft selection. Our server Katy was very attentive and super knowledgeable about the menu and drink offerings. Despite being packed, the place was spotless, and the layout made it easy to move around. Whether you're here with friends, family, or even solo, this bar delivers an experience that keeps you coming back. Can't wait to return for the next game day! Go Lions!!!

Came here recently for the first time and i am actually very impressed. I find it hard to find a good balance of fancy but whole in the wall vibes but this place is my ideal half and half of that. The clientele was a mix of people just drinking and watching sports or getting dinner with their friends. i need both in a sports bar. where the food is actually really good but i can only drink if i want to. I had the chicken tenders with cajun rub on them and they're excellent. It seems to be they actually fry their chicken breasts themselves rather than using a crappy frozen brand. The bartenders are attentive and fast and their drinks are delicious. I find some of their mixed drinks to be overpriced but it won't stop me from coming here. I'll be coming here for the superbowl for sure!!!:)

Terrible food and kitchen is nasty looking. Had burger that I asked for medium rare and was well done. Onion rings were left overs from some time ago. Kids cooking in kitchen.

Environment was great! It's exactly what you look for in a sports bar. TVs everywhere, fans everywhere, and the wrap-around bar was dope. Only complaint is that the bartender really had some sort of attitude with me and my girlfriends while we sat at the bar. Almost seemed like something else pissed her off and she was letting out her anger towards us lol. It was a super strange experience with her. Everyone else though was nice and the drinks were good!

Northville Sports Den is conveniently located right by the public parking area in downtown Northville. They offer both outdoor and indoor seating with a large bar inside the restaurant. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were huge, so I'd definitely recommend this restaurant. Because of their large menu, they are able to cater to many different diets. I am vegan and my friend has a corn allergy; despite these dietary restrictions, we still had many options to choose from! The portion sizes are huge. I ordered the Portabella Fajitas and was only able to eat about 1/4 of it. My husband made two separate meals out of it later that evening. Everything in the attached photos came with the fajitas - plus sour cream, cheese, and salsa (not pictured). The food was seasoned really well and was delicious! One of my friends ordered the chicken tacos, which, like my fajitas, was a huge portion size. My other friend ordered two apps - the Mediterranean Hummus & the Ultimate nachos (which you were able to order on top of sweet potato tater tots instead of chips if you wanted). We didn't realize it at the time, but they had half-price apps that day, so it was really cheap! There was probably two cups of hummus plus many sides and the nachos were huge. The waitress was also great! I wish I got her name so I could add it here, but whoever was working on 6/17 around 2:30 PM, you were great!! She was kind, easy to talk to, and great at her job. I would absolutely recommend coming here! I will be back next time I am in town!

Food, service, and prices suck here. We had a few domestic beers and lunch, $73 before tip. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich came on a bun with pickles, no coleslaw or sauce, very dry chicken, and a side of chips that were from a bag. Chicken wrap was the most boring thing I've put in my mouth. Not returning

I was here recently with some friends and we had this super great time, amazing atmosphere and space for a night out after a long day at work- we had Connor as our server and he made it all the better, super great guy, attentive, made sure everything was top notch- will definitely be returning

Found on website ad that said happy hour Monday through Sunday. So went there they said that was old but didn't pull off internet and wouldn't honor it. Besides that place is dirty we left when server went around criticizing us to other patrons. Really will never go back. Oh and besides bartender walked off when we showed her web page with as for Sunday happy hour. Stay away

I went to the Sports Den for dinner today. The vibe was fun, my server was great! Her name was Katy. She was very attentive and gave me a great recommendation to order the pepperoni pizza. I will definitely be back!!

Lights, TV's, action! A fun place to hang out, eat and either enjoy some games/sports or get one of the tables in a quieter section. The place is huge and well-maintained. The service, each time, which has been many lately, has been top-notch! We have been getting carry out frequently as well and they are detail-oriented and the orders have had no issues or errors. Some favorites: the fish and chips! Crispy, mild flavor and generous portions. The shoestring potatoes are very good and so are the sweet potato tots. I love onion rings, these aren't the best, but they are enjoyable. I just wish the coating adhered a little better, but I like the batter. My kids love the giant pretzels and they are always willing to provide extra cheese sauce. We try burgers from so many places in the area and these rank very high! I appreciate the consistency in their food prep, their excellent service eating in and for carry out. The food is solid and the place is fun! Oh, can't forget the juicy Lucy burger... wow, so good, with oozing cheese inside and the choice of cheese on the outside- decadent! The restaurant is also easily accessible in Downtown Northville with lots of parking. In the summer, the outdoor patio area is spacious and a nice place to enjoy the summer vibes! I also love supporting this local business!

The food is delicious. Comes out quick and hot. Plenty of TVs for game day. They also have the UFC events now great room for private events. We had a 60 people birthday party there and the service was amazing. Prices are on point. Can't wait till I go back. After we got done with the birthday party they have a place next to old called Nomi. It's a must visit.

Well first off I went in to order food and one service hostess went off to find another hostess who knew what was going on, it's completely nutz and insane that you have to go through two different hostesses to place One simple to go order.so a 5 minute order turns into walking out on the pathetic wait staff-, hostess people. Do you really think consumers are going to Long periods of time while your staff tries to find some clueless person to place the order.have you trained the staff you have not to Walk away from customer's or is the staff to stupid to know that. Well as a certified executive chef and restaurant owner for 30 years I think I will never ever step into a business like yours again.do you treat all the customers you have like I was spoken to by the clueless airheaded staff you have.on top of that to.much noise,and lousy food and service to loud to hear yourself think.well I for One Will never ever be stopping by this place again. Certified Executive Chef 's have very Long arms in the restaurant arenas and once this gets out into the community. You will be in trouble and holding your breath and be closing down real soon bad reviews will shut so quick once to word gets out like this one will. well I guess we will see how long this place will stay open after reading this review from me.

The chipotle wrap was delicious, the regular fries in the picture were not so good, the waffle fries were way better. This is a really cool place to watch sports games at. I would suggest coming early on game days though as they seem to fill up pretty quickly. They had a really decent sized menu and basically all of it looked good. I will be returning.

I met a group of eight friends for our monthly lunch at this sports bar in downtown Northville, Michigan. During the pandemic, we met virtually on Zoom, but with vaccinations in place, we are now meeting again in person. We chose the Sport's Den of Northville because of its somewhat central location to accommodate individuals living across a 60 mile swath of Metro Detroit. It also has a large attractive outside patio perfect for a large group. The Den has excellent bar food and an extensive selection of 27 different beers on tap and an equal number in bottles. It specializes in half-pound burgers, flatbread pizzas, salads, wraps and a good selection of sandwiches. Our group sampled a nice cross section of the lunch menu and were very pleased with the quality of the food and drink. I started with a glass of Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy on tap w/ lemon...boom! "That's clean water!" I found it hugely refreshing as I'm soaking up the rays on the bar's patio waiting for the rest of the group to arrive. Because I was craving protein, I ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger on a Brioche and was totally pleased with my selection. It was cooked perfectly and complimented with freshly made onion rings. The Den's sunny back patio in Northville served as the perfect venue for our lunch group. Recommended.

Was there last Tuesday night had an amazingly moist perfectly cooked black and blue burger, absolutely to die for and a couple beers. Blown away but the service so much I had to write a review, our server Emily went above and beyond to ensure the food came out in a timely manner and my glass was never empty. 100% will come back and bring friends.

This is what I like in a sports bar: They always have a solid tap list. The service is consistently good. They don't try to reinvent the wheel with the menu, but they do everything well. I really like the burgers and the Buffalo chicken salad.

Although the food was not good, I wouldn't have left a review if it wasn't for the racism. We were the only Black table there and multiple white people felt compelled to say whatever they could think of in the moment to us. As if they've never seen Black people before. They made comments about enlisting in the army, Juneteenth (this person also doubled back). We constantly caught people staring at us the entire time we were there. The bartender didn't look me at me as she greeted me. The servers never came to check on us. Overall it just was not a good experience. If you're a person of color, you may not feel welcomed here.

Horrible place, although the decor is great and at the right location the food is overpriced for small portions, and on top of that the food isn't even good. Your best bet is to go to Coney, the food is 10x than this!

chicken sandwich was completely raw inside. no one even apologized, replacement meal was not comped, nothing at all, they didn't even care.

Tons of space indoors and outdoors at this upscale sports bar. The menu had plenty of options for everyone and lots of vegan/veggie options for my wife and I. The portions were HUGE, especially the nachos (not pictured) and the hummus (not pictured). The staff was knowledgeable and did a great job to quickly correct one of our orders when it came out wrong. A great place for some burgers, nachos, or general bar food. I'll definitely be back to watch a game soon!

This place has really gone downhill. They charge full price for refills on fountain pop without telling you that's the policy (I drank beer but my husband ordered Diet Coke- we didn't sit there for a long time, just had a meal and left). When we got the bill his 3 pops were almost more than my 2 beers. I have never heard of this before ever and it feels like a shady money grab. We are willing to pay top dollar for a meal or drink that is worth it- this wasn't it. We won't be back.

Um. The food here is BAD and really questionable. Two in our party ordered salmon and it tasted like the oil in which it had been cooked had gone rancid. We couldn't eat more than a bite. Not to mention the chips. We were served potato chips with our entrees which tasted like they'd been sitting out for years. They were old and smelled nasty and we could not eat them. If they're serving old and questionable potato chips then what else are they serving us? When we told our server she told us the manager would come speak to us but then she never came. Thst really bad management. They did take off 15% for the bad chips, however. Don't eat the food here. We came for trivia night which was fun and I'd come back for a drink but I will NEVER eat their food again. Pray for our tummies tonight.

The patio outside and the interior are relaxed and casual. There wasn't a wait when we visited and we were able to sit where we wanted. There's also ample parking close by. The food was ok. I ordered a salmon roll burger with chipotle glaze. It would have been absolutely amazing except the bottom of the salmon was burned to a crisp. My husband's wings were good and delicious, but the clearly burned salmon was a little disappointing. I just cut the bottom off to finish. The nice thing is after eating, you can walk around and visit shops and not have to worry about parking.

Had an early lunch there yesterday. When we got there, there were lights on and shortly after they were dimmed to a very low level. I asked the staff member to turn the lights back on since there was no sun out and it was dark inside. There were no ceiling lights above our table and we could hardly read the menu. We were the ONLY customers in the place and the waitress/bartender said "NO, the manager wants the lights on low". Couldn't she have complied with a reasonable customer request when there was no one else in the place?? We won't be going back.

Disappointing experience all around! We ordered a couple of apple fishbowls for the table of eight, which were large enough to share comfortably. The problem was it didn't look anything like how it did when advertised. Our waitress, who was the biggest problem for us throughout the night took it back just to add the gummy sticks they had forgotten and it was dripping everywhere once returned to us because it was melting. She took both drinks back just to add the gummies when she could have left them with us instead of taking them back and having them dilute. Next, she spilled water on one of our guests and blamed it on someone else for talking to her? Not only is that inaccurate, but how unprofessional to blame someone else for her error instead of apologizing. We ordered six apps for the table and they forgot to bring out two of them out. My burger came out incorrect as well as another guests. No apologies or comps, just a "I thought that's what you ordered" when it was a completely different burger. She was the only one tending to our table which is kind of weird for a larger party. We were without napkins and water for most of the meal. Overall this place was a complete letdown. I wouldn't return again when dining in northville.

poor service, rude people, also noticed old food still on my plate when I received my food and also my cup was nasty!!! not happy with this place will not be coming back!!! OSHA definitely needs to see this place!! i think the owner should get his head out of his ass

This is my favorite ~*dog friendly*~ place in Northville. They welcome us with water bowls each time. Sports Den is solid bar food with a decent beer list and what's not to like...? The central/huge/free downtown parking lot is directly across the street. It's quite pleasant to get some wings and a beer on the patio and go for a walk along the river after. Oh and I hear you can watch sports or something too lol...

Great place to meet friends and watch sporting events; plenty of TV's. Bar staff and servers are friendly and the food good. Always enjoy their HH.

I've gotten take out a few times and it was good. However, the hostess and manager severely lack in customer service to say the least. We asked for a table for 7 and we were told it was a 20 minute wait. After waiting 20+ mins we saw two other parties get seated, we asked for our status and were then told they couldn't serve us at this time. When we asked to speak to a manager, to let her know what happened, the hostess rolled her eyes and the manager said they were too busy to speak to us. It appeared they were short staffed, which is understandable, but the hostess could have let us know from the beginning they couldn't seat us. Other customers witnessed what happened and thought it was unfair as well. Pretty pathetic show of customer service.

No complaints and would recommend it to anyone. It's not the most common sports den but that's what makes it so great. Locals know it and they'll come here for any sports event or small family party. It's a pretty laid back and casual bar that has excellent parking options and your typical bar food menu. The on tap beer selection is far more than your average craft beers, they additionally offer founders runaways, horny monk, porters, Bells stouts and many wines as well. Hamburgers, fries, nachos, wings, sliders, Mediterranean humus, shrimp, lettuce wraps, and plenty of snacks and appetizers. Decent place, decent food, it'll get the job done!

Best place with good food great staff with a great bartender who is the gm. Hands down I recommend this place for anyone who is wanting to come here for here to catch a game

I ordered food for pick up, they told me when to come to pick it up, I showed up, they said it would take two more hours, I told them to cancel the order, they said no way we are keeping your money.

Food here sucks. We ordered a gluten free pizza and it was the worst pizza we ever had. Frozen pizza's are way better. Also order sliders, stale buns and terrible. Not returning.
