Ribs were amazing, can't recommend enough. Very tender and the sauce was excellent. Very friendly service as well. Can't wait to try the burnt ends next time!

Same as the current 1star review, I haven’t had the opportunity to actually eat here yet. I ordered off the website, had my order confirmed, but when I was actually in the area to pick it up I received a text saying they weren’t open and was refunded. I couldn’t find any mention of scheduled open hours on their website (unless that was what the ‘events’ section was supposed to be). I will probably try again some time in the future, and will update my review depending on how delicious it is.

Ultra dank bbq. Best in Seattle I think. Had it twice this weekend and it was great both times. We had the macaroni, brisket and brisket banh mi sandwiches!

Update: Got our Thanksgiving turkey from here this year. Picked it up at 8 am. We had some concerns about keeping the meat moist but we just threw the turkey in the oven and kept it at ~150 until we ate at 3ish. The turkey was so well wrapped that when we carved it, it was moist as if it had just finished cooking. Will definitely do this again next year. Great flavor of course. First review: Best BBQ I've had in West Seattle. The ribs were perfectly done. Fall off the bone, juicy meat. Great seasoning. Brisket was nicely barked and very moist. The bbq sauce worked really well. Somewhat hot, with a good tang. Not too sweet like some sauces. The slaw is refreshing, as it should be. Strong recommend.

I recently got to experience this INCREDIBLE BBQ and my life has been changed. The brisket is so tender and so full of flavor. It just melts in your mouth. Their bbq sauce was out of this world and their pickles compliment everything just perfectly. I also really appreciate the little touches like the warm bun. If you need bbq for an event this is the place you are looking for. I have been a wedding planner for 15 years but I have never had anything so good. Thanks guys!

This review is not about the food as I haven't eaten here. I'm sure the BBQ is great but the owner of this place needs to work out the logistics because it's currently ridiculous. After setting up an order it was immediately cancelled even though the owner specifically said to set up an order through the site on the days he listed he would be open. (This was the second time I tried to order. ) I was refunded for food but it's annoying to jump through these hoops you have created to order your food to only have you cancel when said hoops have been fulfilled.

Love love this place! They set up next to Best of Hands and its the best thing ever to enjoy a cold brew and some NWTX BBQ. I used to spend every summer in TX as a kid and having their food brought me right back to childhood - dirty bbq fingers and a full contented tummy. Go here if you appreciate good food and solid authenticity. Enjoy the good things in life - brisket and beer.

The best BBq in Seattle! The collard greens are a must for the sides. The brisket and Chicken thigh is soooooo good! Definitely will be coming back!

Anyone who complains about there not being enough good bbq in the seattle area hasn't tried NWTXBBQ. This place is the real deal. The ribs are moist and smoky and melt in your mouth. Their mustard-based sauce is tangy and peppery, a perfect compliment to their hickory-smoked meats (and so much better than the usual cloyingly sweet brown sauce you'll find at most bbq joints in Seattle). They even nail the sides. The beef cheeks aren't always available, but if you see them on the menu, get them. Trust me.

I have picked up three meals for the family. Twice I drove to Ravena Brewing from Bellevue where they were set up. The first time I had my meal and it was so good that I picked up more meals for my daughter and her family. Next time I Just picked up for the family and brought it home. I have had the brisket, pulled pork, chili, Mac and Cheese and a Turkey for Thanksgiving all have been great. Looking forward to trying the ribs and the potato salad. I will defiantly following were they will be setting up.

Chris knocked it out of the park for our University of Texas Alumni BBQ! Crowd of 100+ hungry Texans were coming back for seconds of brisket, ribs and chicken. High praise from a group of True Texas BBQ aficionados!

Tasty Tex-Mex in Seattle! Found the Food Truck next to Ravenna Brewery. Loved the Fajita Tacos, nice blend of pulled pork, beef and blue corn tacos. Tasty and filling. Would definitely eat this again!

Perfect turkey dinner for Thanksgiving. The turkey was moist and flavorful just in time for company. Everyone raved about the meal.

Absolutely delicious! The owner was super nice and friendly. My chicken was very smoky, great flavor! The sauce is not very sweet like you would get from a lot of places, it goes well with the chicken and the ribs my husband got. Both were really good!

I placed an order through Uber Eats tonight and it went through and then said my order was ready after a few minutes. I showed up to the restaurant and literally no one was there with this restaurant. It's a communal kitchen and a nice owner of another restaurant opened the door and told me this has happened before. Beware!!

Best bbq I've had in Seattle since moving here from Austin, TX. Brisket is exceptionally well cooked. Every bite fell apart in my mouth and I loved how much the smoke came through. Makes me glad I live in West Seattle. I hope this becomes a full blown brick and mortar restaurant at some point so I can grab more any day of the week.

Food is excellent, service was awesome - owner/operator was incredibly friendly, helpful, kind, and cool. Recommended some awesome favorites, hooked up extra because he was wrapping up for the night. It was clear he takes pride in what he cooks and is excited to share it. Also, the mustard-based sauce is AMAZING.

SOME OF THE BEST BURNT ENDS I'VE EVER HAD!!! everything is great. the brisket sandwich is giant, my mouth was watering all the way home and i couldn't help put take a couple bites. this will be a regular in my rotation.

Would give zero stars if I could only based on the fact that I use an app called good to go which they are a part of and every time I have tried to get food from them they are not at the location that is given.

Had their smoked turkey for thanksgiving and it was absolutely delicious! Between the mesquite and smoked flavor and how fresh it tasted even after a couple of days, it was amazing!! Can't wait to continue to use NWTXBBQ for events and just because for days to come.

Every time I eat here, the food is delicious! They change up their menu from time to time, but it's always great. The smoked Turkey that I ordered for Thanksgiving was cooked to perfection without any stress on my end. I highly recommend Northwest Texas BBQ.

NWTXBBQ is incredible! Their thanksgiving Turkey was amazing and an excellent addition to our thanksgiving dinner! If you have the chance, also order their brisket burger! It's flavorful and goes well with a good ipa for lunch!

I enjoyed a delicious chopped beef sandwich and authentic Texas queso with chips (if you've never had queso you are missing out!) while they were serving at Bale Breaker Brewery the other day. Super nice owner as well working hard to bring the PNW quality NWTX BBQ. I was surprised by how good it was as I had low expectations having tried other BBQ out here. Whether you've been to Texas and tried the good stuff from the source or not, you'll try this place and quickly realize how good this is. Thx for the great lunch and for satisfying future BBQ cravings!

Pretentious joke BBQ. If I could give zero stars I would and they clearly deserve it. Asked for only sauce and meat on the chopped beef sandwich and the owner refused to make any substitutions. FYI, the majority of Texas BBQ is just composed of salt, pepper, and smoke but this guy wants to put mustard based sauce, jalapeños, onions, Brussels sprouts, and god knows what on "Texas BBQ". Brussels sprouts? Are you serious? Even if there was reason for someone to order because of allergies the guy refused. "That's not the way I make it" and proceeded to ask me to order something else. So after his answer I decide ok I will order the pulled pork and guess what? It was dry and similar to eating hair. Don't go looking for an actual smoker on the vicinity - it doesn't even seem to exist. This dude brings everything over in plastic bags. Plastic bags? Really? When was this "smoked"? Very unprofessional! Extreme uncleanliness. Would never order again. Worst BBQ I have ever experienced. The guy running it is a joke and doesn't even show up with the things he advertises to have on his own website. For example, 24 hours before the website lists they will have smoked brisket sandwiches and smoked brisket by the pound so a guy requested to order a pound of brisket and the pretentious BBQ owner says "we don't have it on the menu how about you look at the menu." He also didn't have the beans he actually hand listed on the menu. Dude is a hot mess and extremely messy and dirty. The PacNW continues to be a joke when it comes to BBQ and this dude takes the cake. Don't waste your time with this joker. God awful BBQ.
