"Vegan favorite Nosh Pit relocated in June 2021 from Hamtramck to Royal Oak, where has a bigger kitchen than its former space. That means a larger menu with more plant-based junk food items like vegan versions of cheese sticks and wings. There’s soups, sandwiches, baked goods, and the famous Lady Fantastic Coney Carrot Dog, named a top vegan hot dog in the country by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals)." - Monica Williams

Read some of the other reviews and was concerned about the timing, but we went Thursday for dinner. Food was delicious and from the time we ordered until the time it was ready was about 6 to 7 minutes. Staff was really friendly and portions were very good sized. Excellent place to grab dinner before a movie.

Worth every single scarce penny!! VERY FAIR price per portion for the premium quality of savory nutritional value. You WONT REGRET eating the whole thing in one sitting ... unless someone took a picture with their phone of you absolutely devouring their two-handed burrito(s) into your rabid hangry mouth with those world champion Dyson lips of yours? Besides, YOUR GUT WILL THANKYOU for treating yourself to such healthy sustenance. Even my cowboy boot wearing, meat stick chewing, jerky jerkin, metal band t-shirt wearing, bacon-loving partner said Nosh's vegan fried bac-um was delicious and he wants to order it next time we come, even tho it's not actually bacon. Weekend Brunch menu works out to be about $20 -25 per person for a generous, filling, unbelievably VEGAN plate with fancy "pinkie-up" tasty beverages and appetizer. Highly recommend the hot apple cider!!! Tip HEAVY for these talented food artists that worked to create and maintain this airy, inclusive safe space that will even feed the souls of jaded old maids like me. Soooo nice to be impressed instead of disapointed!!!! COVID-19 mandate-compliant tooooooooo.

One of the best vegan places you'll ever come across. Put this on your must VISIT list, and I promise you won't be disappointed. They always do their best to switch up their menu, so that's great when looking for a twist. The location can be hard to spot at first, but it's right next to a huge parking lot, which makes it super convenient.

We eat Nosh Pit all the time, it's a must try to vegans/vegetarians. We usually catch them at the Detroit City FC games (they have a food truck). But today we stopped in for brunch! We both had the hot chocolate, complete with marshmallows and whipped cream. I had the chili to start and had the chickun and waffles as my entree. They were both delicious! Have to mention the garlic aoli that came with the chickun wings - it was bomb! My partner had biscuits and gravy - excellent; also had the breakfast burrito - flavor was on point but the size was a but small for the price. We loved Nosh Pit brunch and can't wait to return.

Called ahead to check on having a 2 person meeting and they were wonderfully accommodating. The food was awesome and service as well. Glad we divided everything into small plates to sample a variety of dishes. The latkes were a bit spicy and the fruit sauces offset that wonderfully. The salad was a dream and filling. Mac & cheeze with collards / marinated mushrooms - so delicious.

An excellent food truck fully vegan (with option to choose vegetarian/dairy) products in downtown Detroit. The food truck whips up tasty sandwiches and sides very quickly- perfect for a quick bite to eat at lunch. With a variety of foods, this is definitely one of the better options for picking up vegan or vegetarian food on the go. Serving staff is absolutely delightful. If I had one knock against the place, the sandwiches are pretty pricey for what you get. Other than that, a gem.
