Nosh Restaurant and Wine Lounge

We went here for our 22nd Anniversary. The deviled egg and sweet potato fries with goat cheese and hot honey were incredible. And the staff brought us a congratulatory card they all signed and a free dessert. Nice touches.

NYE here was a bit of a bust. Plates were very small. Shrimp cocktail was served on a warm plate. Chicken roulade was not chicken roulade (not rolled) and very dry. Dessert was mouse and panna cotta. The panna cotta was off putting at best and the mouse was not fluffy and light at all, more pudding like. The wine pairings were mid-I'd say one win, two meh, one blah.... The prosecco (first course) was fine, and the pinot noir (2nd course) was really good, cab with 3rd course was fine. But the Rosé for dessert was served warm. 😞 The server didnt know anything about the wines, served the second course without teling us what it was, and had to read the bottle for most of them. For 2, our bill (after tip) was about $250. But overall 2025 was pretty disappointing, so ...

Love Nosh! Don't skip dessert! We came in recently for dinner during Happy Hour. Brittany was our server and was so friendly and helpful. Nosh has amazing happy hour deals on wine and apps. Excellent value for the quality of the food. The house white wine is really decent too for $4 a glass! Beef and Boujee sliders were fabulous. Was skeptical of the McDermott inspired sweet potato fries with hot honey but they are delicious. Also had a Core Values salad with grilled salmon added and it was really good but a tad undercooked for my liking is the only reason not giving 5 stars for the food. Best part might have been dessert -- there was a special mini pumpkin mousse tart thing that was so yummy. Also really good was the flourless chocolate cake. We found out the owner does many of the desserts herself. Look forward to Noshing again soon!

We had a working lunch at Nosh today in their private room. We had a variety of food from Brussels sprouts and house made chips for apps to salad with salmon, chicken salad sandwich with fries, and charcuterie board, a vegetarian option (not sure what it was, but she ate it all!). The rest of us had prime rib sliders with soup (three or four soups available) and a variety of bruschetta (again we got three different kinds and shared). Everything was delicious! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive as was the rest of the staff. We all agreed that we'd happily go back! Sorry, we forgot to take pics...

I could not provide a higher enough rating for Nosh. We stopped here twice in one day it was so good! the staff, including management and i believe owners had been some of the nicest people you will ever encounter. we ordered a variety of food and drinks to try and sample all we could and let me tell you the sliders, and meatballs hands down are incredible. We then came back for end of evening desert and drink. the vibe nosh provides is unlike anything else in Omaha, a place everyone can feel welcome and be treated to exquisite food at a reasonable price. Will be back!

My husband and I have always been happy when we visit this restaurant. The staff is kind, accommodating, and attentive. All of the food that we have tried there has been wonderful. I would love to see their pesto pasta with the chicken or shrimp back as a permanent staple on their menu, though! That is seriously my favorite. Please!!! Keep up the great work everyone at Nosh! :-)

Nosh is hands down one of my favorite spots in downtown Omaha! I’m always recommending it to anyone visiting the area. The cozy, dimly lit atmosphere gives it a warm, romantic feel — perfect for a date night or a relaxed evening out. They also have an incredible selection of wines that pairs perfectly with their menu. My go-to dish is the smoked gouda mac and cheese — it’s rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious!

We had reservations for four. Were seated quickly. That was the good part. Sat for 25 minutes with no service. We to front desk and asked who and where was our server. They did not know, Both of them wandered around the restaurant for a few minutes and then went back up front. All this time some of the servers were standing around the bar casually chatting. A few minutes later server who was standing around the bar shows up, apologizes for the delay. The food: My wife ordered a dinner salad based on the menu description. They served a plate of kale with dried pieces of chicken. When we said this is not what is on the menu they had no idea. Back to the kitchen and after a while brought the actual correct salad, but again with dry pieces of chicken. My dish was chicken bao. The chicken was frozen thin strips over fried so was hard to even chew. Our friends scallop dish was good. Overview: There was no obvious manager or person in charge. We were never asked how our meal was. I read one of the new owners likes to cook and wanted to own a restaurant. This may be a candidate for kitchen nightmares.

I am completely obsessed with Nosh. Their French onion soup is incredible and the French onion slider is just as amazing. I could honestly eat that combo every day. The fries are so good I could not stop eating them. They are so addictive. The staff makes the experience even better. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and it feels like they genuinely care that you have a great time. Nosh has quickly become one of my favorite spots and I will keep coming back for that French onion soup and slider. Highly recommend.

I came here with a group of 6 with a reservation. The service was extremely slow. It took about 15-20 minutes to get our drinks, and the other half of the drinks took an additional 10-15 minutes to arrive. One of the drinks was incorrect, so that took another 15 minutes. The food took a long time to arrive from when we ordered, maybe over 45 minutes. One person in our group did not get her order until 10-15 minutes after everyone else. I did not receive my salad dressing on the side as I had requested, so it took 10 minutes to get ahold of a server, and 10 minutes to get the salad dressing. By that time, most people in my group were already half finished with their food. For the food, the food selection was not impressive. Definitely do not come here hungry or wanting a full meal. Most menu items are meant to be shared amongst the table. I did appreciate how the gluten free options were designated on the menu, but I feel like there wasn't very many of them. I got the Nosh Argos salad with a 6 oz beef fillet. The salad itself was pretty good, but I did not expect it to be a deconstructed salad. For a main course salad, I did expect the portion to maybe be a bit larger. All in all, I don't think Nosh would be somewhere I'd choose to come back to.

My husband and I didn't have reservations; they sat us in the lounge, which was comfortable and felt like a VIP section. I really liked that. The menu - well, I am really over this trend of every menu item needing to have a cutesy name (like "Bay-cation crisps" for potato chips, or "Hatch Me if you Can; a Colorado Staple" for a soup, I think). It's super tedious to try to read through all this and honestly it just feels so "Bob's Burgers". We got the Brussels Sprouts appetizer, whatever it was called, with the goat cheese and honey. Really liked it. But the "Big Fat Greek Board" was a big disappointment. Wow. Bland and flavorless. The tiny cup of tzatziki was tasty but was really too small of an amount to enjoy. We had to ask for the olives, and the artichokes were left off too, but I hadn't thought to consult the menu online to see what else had been forgotten. Looking at this board - there was nothing interesting or special about anything on it. This was literally just something to eat, not something to enjoy. For $26 I expected something nicer, but even if it had cost less I would have expected it to be nicer.

Nosh has a new menu, and I have to say I unfortunately wasn't super impressed. There were so many things that sounded good, but my husband's French dip and my flatbread fell short. He noted that his French dip was lacking flavor, and I would have to say the same for my meal. The most prominent flavor was the incredibly large portion of marinara that tasted more like tomato paste. I chose this flatbread because I love chorizo, but that flavor was nowhere to be found. I have to say I did enjoy my N/A drink!

Decent place based on a visit while on a work trip. Casual, welcoming, and relaxed atmosphere. Wouldn't call it a refined wine bar/lounge but it doesn't need to be. Excellent attentive and friendly service. Average food. I ordered the French onion soup ($6) and the 8 oz filet ($42) for dinner with a glass of wine. Soup was good but broth needed deeper and richer flavor. The steak came with potatoes, carrots, and asparagus. I enjoyed the vegetables. Steak was slightly overcooked- more medium well, while I ordered medium. Besides that, seemed to be lower quality of meat, definitely not a prime cut. Was tough and wasn't worth eating all of it or the price. Also, would advise restaurant to get sharper steak knives.

My wife and I had our first date here, I proposed here, and we had our rehearsal dinner here. We love Nosh and bring all of our out of town guests here. I can't speak highly enough of the service, menu, and wine selection. Nosh is must visit and I highly recommend their sliders to any carnivore!

Nosh is such a beautiful space with an equally wonderful staff. We stopped in before a concert and ordered the Nosh flatbread, frites, and a couple of drinks -- everything was delicious. This was my second visit, and I'm already looking forward to coming back again!

The location and service of this business is excellent. Right near Steelhouse, one can get food and drinks there easily before a show. Mind you, recommending this COULD make that more difficult... LOL! It has been there for many years, though, so one can be hopeful. Their wine selection is quite good. Foreign wines are a delightful treat for me. The pricing is quite reasonable. Seating is plentiful. This gives me hope that there will still be seats available when we try to go there again. Since they accept reservations, one can assure their place there before the show. The food was good. If I'm being fussy, the meatballs should be spicier and slightly salty. I will live, of course, and the protein was most useful for my aging carcass. My wife and I loved our dinners and enjoyed the leftovers the next day. Yes, we were parked nearby. On that, YMMV. We will definitely return.

If you cannot accommodate a party of 17, do not take the reservation. This was ridiculous. We had a 6pm reservation and food started coming out about 6:30. We had one waitress, which just was not sufficient. Worse yet, at 7:20, three people still hadn't received their food. Everyone else's came out in dribs and drabs. I said something to our waitress and she responded "well, the kitchen got 17 orders at once!" Yes. That does happen, oddly enough, when you take a reservation for 17. The last two dinners that arrived were wrong; given the excessive amount of time and the fact it arrived after half of us were done eating, I would've thought comping the meal would be appropriate. Instead they were given 50% off. Another person's steak arrived seriously charred rather than medium rare. They redid it, but that arrived even later. Perhaps if it's four or less people it's okay, but don't bring a crowd.

If you like a dark bar/restaurant, cozy ambiance, good staff and great food...you'll love Nosh. This place is consistent and comfortable. The hodge podge of seating is my favorite thing about this place. And the food...quality. You'll spend a bit more than your average resturant but it's worth it.

I've been to Nosh many times over the years, but never really had the food. But I've always loved the bar. The bartenders are always top tier! Last night we finally decided to have dinner before a concert and the food was exactly as excellent as I wanted it to be! The atmosphere is quiet and perfect for having conversations with the group.

The food and service were great! Had the Margherita Flatbread for $5 during Happy Hour - can't beat that! Obsessed with these ice cubes and the chill vibes!

Food, service, ambiance, people, selection, etc. shout out to the staff!m, they work so hard!

I've eaten at Nosh several times in the past year, and I've been impressed every time. The bruschettas are a great appetizer, and I was thrilled that they offered gluten free bread for it! Their entrees are also delicious, although I will say that the cheesy menu item names make it seem like the food will not be as good as it really is. Love that they offer not only wonderful wine options, but they have a variety of n/a beverages as well.

So very excited to give this spot a try. Nice, greeting as we got there. Place was so so busy- 3 of us came for dinner - Drinks came out in a timely fashion- Bruschetta came out in a timely fashion- however this should only be a summer fall appetizer, as the tomatoes this time of year have no flavor.... The Seafood on the pasta was done to perfection! Alfredo not lemon however- Caesar salad was crispy with Italian dressing, Margarita flatbread was yummy with a surprise of pesto vs fresh basil, lastly the filet was nice, and veggies blanched- Over all it was good/ok. However for the price of it all- $300 plus tip - I'd prefer the staff be dress similar to the people coming in. Not a short crop top and torn jeans. I get it might be the style. However - for that price point - I'd expect more.

What an incredible dining experience ! An upscale wine bar that serves up a perfect Old Fashion. The cheese board was actually tailored for a single serving. What will flow next is a perfect salmon dinner. A special Thank You to Blair and Jessica. I will be back on Wednesday. Can you believe they even have cal-custom ice cubes - cool

Had an absolutely amazing meal the other night, and haven't stopped thinking about it! We had SO much food, probably overdid it, but I wanted to try everything and I'm glad I did. Got the French Onion Soup, Lukie On Fire' and You Bacon Me Crazy' bruschettas - They came cut into fourths which made sharing easy. Then we shared the 'My Big Fat Greek Board' that came with steak and shrimp on it. My friend got the Thicc and Juicy burger - I Didn't try that but he said it was delicious. I did steal a few of his truffle fries though and those were bomb. Then we got a couple of brownies to go which I forgot to take a picture of because they were in my mouth before I remembered. This meal was excellent, there's plenty of small plates to share if you need to 'Nosh' on a few things before you go see a show at Steelhouse, lots of full entrees as well if you want something more substantial. The drinks were made perfectly, wine list was impressive, ambience was nice and mellow, and the service was top notch. Can't recommend enough! Don't sleep on this one!

08/01/25 Service was terribly slow. It took 10 minutes to tell us that they didn't have the wine we inquired about that was on the wine list. Then 10 minutes later the server returned to say they did have the wine. 10 minutes after ordering food, the server came back and said they were out of what I ordered, so I picked something else. Then, you guessed it, 10 minutes later, she returned and said they did have one left. After an hour, our appetizers were brought out. Then several minutes later, 3 of of the 4 in our party got their main entrees. I asked where mine was and said I needed a to go box and our check as we were going to a show at the venue next door and only had 20 minutes until it started. After all that, the food was just average.

It was just bought by a new owner a couple months ago. My date and I saw on a Happy Hour website that they had a Saturday Happy hour all day. She didn't know about the happy hour and they weren't even open yet. However, she was SO Friendly and accomodating! We didn't even realize they weren't planning on being open yet. She took our order and accepted the happy hour special. I highly recommend this place! No idea how it was before, but this new owner is SO FRIENDLY!

I received a text from Nosh stating they were having happy hour on Saturday. I took my cousin and a couple of friends, first timers. Eric wore so many hats. He was like the bartender, the cook, the server and he didn't miss a beat. Their happy hours prices are very reasonable. The shrimp cocktail was extremely cute, the margarita flatbread, delicious, and the. truffle fries are to die for.

The housemade ice cream is a must! Elegant and comfortable atmosphere. House wine is a very nice cab from Chile.

Another AMAZING meal at Nosh Wine Lounge. This restaurant is always my 1st stop when I come to Omaha. I love the Zoodles with Meat Balls... one word describes.... DELICIOUS. The service again a class act by Melissa. The service by Melissa never disappoints and her friendly personality is AWESOME. She remembers my order and that means a lot to a regular. Thank you Melissa. The environment inside is perfect.. has that Classy ambiance and very upscale. Restaurant is quite and you can have great conversation. If you sit at the bar there are TV's to watch the game and just all and all a nice atmosphere LOVE THIS PLACE. Highly recommend. A must try... ZOODLES W/ Meatballs or Duck. Both AMAZING.

I was in town over the weekend and kind of bored and so wandered into Nosh for a lazy lunch on a Saturday. Much to my delight, it was HH until 5 pm on Saturday. House wines for $4? Even better. I had the HH Meatballs, which were a pair of spaghetti and meatballs style meatballs, just sans pasta. They were served in a small baking dish, atop a red sauce with dollops of ricotta and a melted topping of parm and mozzarella. They were a decent albeit heavy snack. I also had a half order of the Roygbiv salad (ie rainbow) which was red-tomato, orange-smoked salmon, yellow-corn, green-arugula, blue- I actually forget what was blue, and violet- raisins. Oh and pearl couscous - ha, I don't know what color that represents. The salad was excellent, and I'd happily eat that again. The restaurant was slow, which makes sense in a downtown adjacent area on a Saturday, but the service was friendly. There was only one server the entire time, and the food took a while to come out. I surmise there was only one cook as well though I can't confirm. I was having a lazy lunch and came armed with a book (and was sipping $4 house wine) so that was no big deal for me ... but notable if you were hoping for a quick pop in and out situation. There are tables, high tops, and sofa seating ... I chose a regular table. And although there were plenty of open tables, one group of (loud) ladies chose the table right next to me. Ah well, still a lovely lazy lunch.

WOW! Exceptional food, drinks, and service! We hosted a friend's going away party in the lounge and it exceeded all expectations! We had the best time and were so well taken care of. Thank you for making our experience an outstanding one!

We recently went to Nosh with two other couples on a Saturday night. We had reservations for 6 and were seated right away. At the time of ordering there were only three or four other tables so it was not busy at all. Food came out and my husbands food was not correct so the waiter tried to give it to me. I said that I didn't order that either. He asked us what we ordered and disappeared. He came back with my husbands and proceeded to tell me mine was coming. I had ordered the Greek board which only has two cooked components; 4 oz of steak and a few shrimp. I sat and waited over 20 minutes for my food. All of the other couples had finished their food when mine finally arrived, which it arrived and the steak was luke warm. The food tasted good but my biggest issue is the manager walked by twice and never stopped to apologize or try to make it right. In fact, they offered nothing to us. No free drink, no free dessert, no discount, nothing. I have never been to an establishment where if they have messed up this bad they didn't try to make it right somehow. A gentleman in our group told the waiter I should have something taken off my bill. He went over to the manager and they talked and I could see they weren't happy but did give us a discount but again, no apology. I can honestly say I won't go back to Nosh. Having been there before, this was super disappointing in how we were treated.

Went for a quick dinner and wound up staying 2.5 hours (in a great way) such a cute spot, good food, excellent service, they don't rush you and just let you be but are still attentive! I wish more restaurants took this approach! Great job will definitely come back next time I'm in town.

Incredible every time I go. I would say the best value is happy hour, so check their website for what day it is. Expensive for a full meal but perfect for a lighter meal and drink, you could get 2 glasses of wine and some food for $30. You will need a reservation if you have more than 2 people. Definitely accessible restaurant, with lots of table height options. Parking is street parking, or there is a garage across the street to the south.

The space was a little outdated and definitely seemed like an older crowd. The wine was good and well priced but the food was just mediocre.

I was so excited to find a place that had so many vegetarian and vegan options. Of course they have other things too, but it really isn't what i expect from a nicer restaurant. Usually there's maybe one or two options and at least one is a salad. This had several and I need to go back. They also had a very nice drink selection and of course a variety of wine. The server was very knowledge about the drinks they had and was happy to provide recommendations for our odd requests of drinks with elderflower liqueur. It's a very nice setup with booths and tables, so you can get what ever kind of environment you'd like for your dinner. The tables are in more of an open area near the bar, while the booths are much more secluded. Back to the food, we got the truffle fries which were delicious and I got the falafel plate which was far larger with much more food than I was expecting. I will most certainly be back!

Needed to have a quick drink prior to a banquet and this was the perfect spot. Rolled up to a meter that couldn't have been any closer to the front door. The staff got us Happy Hour menus and I ordered the house chardonnay for $5 a glass. Wasn't the greatest chardonnay, but exactly what you'd expect for $5. The wait staff knew we were in a hurry, so quickly dropped off the tab and we were out in 30 minutes. I do like this place and will be back for their charcuterie boards...

First time to Nosh and can't wait to return! My wife's 40th date night and we had an absolute great experience! The staff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our drinks and our food! Food Smoke Salm Bruschetta 9/10 Falafel 9/10 Lemon Cream/Shrimp Pasta 9/10

The ambiance in here was really nice, with a smaller place and a spot in the back corner to sit in comfortable chairs and have drinks. I enjoyed it. We started the meal with the salmon bruschetta and the specials menu bruschetta. The original bruschetta was outstanding. One of the best I've ever had. There were a few items ordered at the table and everyone seemed pleased with their order. I ordered the falafel since I've been on a falafel kick for a couple months now , and it was ok. Wasn't my favorite, though, and I think the options that come with it could have been more plentiful. Overall, a good experience! I recommend giving it a try while you're in the area.

We have been going to Nosh since 2017. It was one of our favorites. In the last few years it started to go downhill and we had bad experience after bad experience. So tonight, we decided to attend the @hollandcenter 20 year anniversary performance and give the new owners of Nosh a try. As soon as we arrived, the people in line ahead of us were complaining that they had been standing there for 10+ minutes while the hostess stood at a table of her friends and talked. We finally got seated and it took 20 minutes to get a wine menu. 30 minutes after being seated, our server finally came to the table. We explained that we were in a bit of a time crunch at that point to be able to get to the performance on time. She told us no problem at all, we ordered a couple of light appetizers and a salad. 45 minutes later, the hostess walked by and we asked where our food was. She became extremely argumentative about how busy they were and when our friend stood up to leave the table and go to the restroom, she said he was "threatening her". She then proceeded to tell us that since we were in such a hurry, she would get our food in a to-go box. 10 minutes later she came back to our table and proceeded to kick us out of the restaurant. Through this entire process, we were nothing but respectful but questioning why it was taking so long for just a few light appetizers. Being treated the way we were is the worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant, and we will never go back. So much for trying to support local. @thesteelhouseomaha @thehollandcenter @omahaperformingarts this restaurant doesn't deserve to be the closest food establishment to your venues. You and your customers deserve better. Shame on Nosh and their new owners. Some customer service training is desperately needed. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Showed up during dinner rush. Blair helped us immediately, was courteous, and provided fantastic service throughout the evening. Great date night. Amazing selection and food.

First the good. Staff was excellent. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. The bad. Seats are uncomfortable. We had the nosh board which for $25 was unremarkable. Had the French onion soup that was really watered down. Wife had the ceasar salad. She said that the dressing had no taste. First time won't be back. JD

Came here for happy hour from 4-5. My friends are frequent Nosh goers and highly recommended it but this was my first time. I got the Margherita flat bread and truffle fries which both were very good and reasonably priced. The place was completely empty because we went on a Tuesday at 4pm and so the service was very attentive. Would recommend coming here with some family and friends and make a reservation as I hear in weekends they actually stop taking reservations all together!

Decent return, this time with my fiancee. Hummus was a bit bland, and the steak yet cooked well the seasoning was not there. Service was good, they came by promptly if we needed anything. Ambiance was good, no complaints. Thanks for the discount for living around the corner at Capitol District. Will wonder back since y'all are around the corner.

Blair and Jessica are so welcoming and we LOVE coming to Nosh because of them! The food and wine is also a plus!:) We love Nosh! Our staple stop!

Drinks were pretty tasty, especially enjoyed the nosh sour, which was a sweet and sour with a float of merlot on top. Yum. Nosh charcuterie board was decent, but not amazing. In fact all appetizers and meals were just that; decent, but not amazing. Super pricey, and not worth the high prices, in my opinion.

Celebrated a milestone birthday here. Wr had about 24 ppl with us. Management was awesome to work with and was very accomidating in prepping for the big day. Amazing service, great atmosphere, and the food was delish!

Easy | nosh cocktails | street tacos Easy - often with craft cocktail restaurants they can be difficult or hard to get into or stuffy, this place is the exact opposite. Nosh cocktails - they have there own renditions of 20+ classic cocktails like old fashion, Moscow mule, Manhattan, etc. I don't understand what each nuance is, but the bartender and staff do. So, be sure to ask. Street tacos - I had the chicken tacos. They are perfect appetizers. They come with four tacos. I had two orders for my meal. Pro tip - with the fries, be sure to get bbq or ketchup. We tried them by themselves with their orange/honey glaze, and it didn't "slap." Be sure to get a condiment. Pro tip - there is a good amount of street parking available within 1 block in all directions.

I am new to Omaha, I stopped in to have dinner and a glass of wine which were both amazing. The service is outstanding, Sydney was my waitress who is an absolute sweetheart! Food is great, ambiance is great, and staff is top tier! Good service at restaurants can be hard to come by these days but because Sydney is such a wonderful and attentive waitress I will definitely be a returning costumer. The restaurant is very inviting with comfy seating and excellent food.

This is such a wonderful little place with amazing drinks and a vibe that will make you never want to leave. The service is always warm and friendly. The food is delicious. Get the spinach dip. I PROMISE you that it's life changing. The place is charming and one of my favorite places in Omaha, especially around the holidays. Definitely make a reservation. But Nosh is top notch every time. EVERY. TIME.

On a hot, muggy Omaha day, few things are more welcome than some cool air, good food, and cold beverages. We found all three at Nosh! We stopped by in the early afternoon and the place was pretty empty. We found a comfortable table towards the back to have some good conversation. We both had salads and some great local beers. Everything was tasty and refreshing. Service was exceptional. The price was more than fair.

Great food. Friendly service without being overbearing. I have enjoyed each visit from happy hour to dinner to curated wine tastings. It's quiet and chill, easy to have a conversation and enjoy company.

Tried it yesterday, went for lunch. The place wasn't too busy as we went a little late for lunch. The service was very ordinary, was disappointed. The servers didn't know what the house drinks were, there was a mix up on the house sparkling wine. Mojito was not cold and very overpriced (served in a small champagne flute). Ordered a falafel wrap, was delicious, came with Italian meatball soup, was good as well. Ordered the lunch special of half margarita pizza and half apple walnut salad ($6.99), added chicken to the pizza (turned out to be $6 up charge ), hamburger was well made, delicious, got garlic Parmesan fries with it and server was confused about that as well. Overall, would go back to see it it was a one time poor/slow service (only two tables occupied and there were two servers) and lack of knowledge on the drinks and warm Mojito. Food was definitely the highlight, would do a take out if service doesn't improve.
