Nostos Coffee

The coffee was small but it was lovely! The atmosphere is nice but the big table in the middle and a lot of the stalls make it a bit difficult to feel relaxing. The issue was the pastries, we came on Saturday morning and the pastry was quite dry sadly. It looked amazing so I am a bit sad that the pastry was dry. Also some people were on laptop and felt would be good to have no laptop policy in the weekend when it is busy.

Probably the best coffee shop I've ever been to. The freeze distilled flat white is certainly the best milk espresso drink I've had. The pourover selection is excellent and the staff, while busy is helpful and knowledge and show extreme precision in their craft - expect to see them individually mineralize your water to match your selection, remove the chaff with a blower, and adjust temperature for the bloom vs the pour. This one sets a high bar! I'll be back.

The experience we had at Nostos was the best of my entire visit to the UK! I found myself coming back 4 days in a row, each time trying cups that were genuinely exceptional and memorable. Special thanks to the lovely lady at the cashier, who welcomed us warmly every time and patiently explained the different beans and coffee options and to the female barista whose passion for coffee is reflected in every cup she prepares. I was very excited to try the freeze-distilled flat white, where the milk is frozen then partially defrosted in a 24H process, leaving it thick, sweet, and concentrated. *That explains the price* I tried it with three different beans, and each cup had its own character. 1- Aroma Nativo Colombia: This was the best starting from the blueberry aroma ending with a fruity sweet well-rounded thick flat white 2- Franky A Colombia: for a while I thought I was drinking a strawberry milkshake and at the end of the drink a very little taste of fermentation will appear in a pleasing way 3- Diego Colombia, Thermal Shock washed process: the taste was like a sweet drink infused with cardamom! Leaning more to the classic side In a separate cup they add the milk recommending drinking it before the flat white but I prefered it best after, as it characterized more sweetness I also tried waver espresso for the first time in my life, and surprisingly, the taste was much clearer and sweeter. Batch Brew coffee had the intensity and aroma needed👍 They provide a fast service bar for those who want quality without deep technical exploration, and a dedicated bar for enthusiasts using a Slayer machine, remineralized water, pre-dosed beans, and other advanced brewing techniques.

the franky a filter was one of the best coffees i’ve had in a while! Super clean yet soft on the tongue and the sweetness was brilliant almost juice like. Couldn’t take the beans home as they were sold out but i’d imagine this to be lovely as an iced filter or cold brew as well

The coffee was good! The atmosphere is perfect for sitting down and having a chat with a friend. I loved the tables and chairs. You can tell a lot of care went into them. If you’re near St. James’s Park, it’s a great spot for a chill coffee x

Went here after seeing they were it the top list for coffee's in the UK. There is a specif coffee menu that ranges in the 10£+ mark for what I thought would be wow / mazing standout coffees so ordered one of those. I didn't realise nor was I warned how long I'd need wait for the coffee. I mean it looked very scientific with scales where the coffee and water were weighed out and fancy kettles keeping the water at a specific temperature. I think it took about 15 - 20 minutes for this 1 cup of coffee. One sip, nope, wasn't worth the amount I paid or the time. I mean it was like a watered down coffee. It did have a clean taste and didn't leave your mouth with a bitter taste but definitely expected some explosion of flavour, which just wasn't there. I quickly realised I should have just ordered a standard Americano for a couple of quid. Anyways... The place was busy with a great vibe. Everyone was enjoying the standard coffees, which I think would be lovely to be fair.

Nostos Coffee has a calm and peaceful vibe with really good coffee. You can sit inside or under the modern building, sipping your cup while watching the modern buildings and the street around you. Loved that they didn’t charge extra for oat milk in my flat white. They also offer interesting options for brew coffees, worth trying if you’re into it

I’ve been to both Nostos branches, and the coffee is consistently excellent. The iced latte is perfectly balanced as the coffee flavor comes through beautifully alongside the milk. The espresso is rich and well-balanced. This branch is great for chilling or working, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating spaced out comfortably.
