The experience we had at Nostos was the best of my entire visit to the UK!
I found myself coming back 4 days in a row, each time trying cups that were genuinely exceptional and memorable.
Special thanks to the lovely lady at the cashier, who welcomed us warmly every time and patiently explained the different beans and coffee options and to the female barista whose passion for coffee is reflected in every cup she prepares.
I was very excited to try the freeze-distilled flat white, where the milk is frozen then partially defrosted in a 24H process, leaving it thick, sweet, and concentrated. *That explains the price*
I tried it with three different beans, and each cup had its own character.
1- Aroma Nativo Colombia: This was the best starting from the blueberry aroma ending with a fruity sweet well-rounded thick flat white
2- Franky A Colombia: for a while I thought I was drinking a strawberry milkshake and at the end of the drink a very little taste of fermentation will appear in a pleasing way
3- Diego Colombia, Thermal Shock washed process: the taste was like a sweet drink infused with cardamom! Leaning more to the classic side
In a separate cup they add the milk recommending drinking it before the flat white but I prefered it best after, as it characterized more sweetness
I also tried waver espresso for the first time in my life, and surprisingly, the taste was much clearer and sweeter.
Batch Brew coffee had the intensity and aroma needed👍
