Nostos Coffee

Great coffee shop near our hotel. My cappuccino and my friend’s chai were great! My raisin roll was good- would’ve been even better if the cafe had a way of warming it up! Indoor and outdoor seating available. They offer non dairy milk for no additional charge and vegan breakfast items.

Excellent. Wow wow wow, this shop blew me away. Everything was done perfectly- from the espresso to the milk steaming to even just a cup of drip. Even with as high quality as everything was, the staff is super efficient. There was barely a wait with a full shop. The freeze distilled flat white could be the best espresso based drink I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommend!!!!

We came specifically to try the freeze distilled flat white. Yes, I was apprehensive about paying £12 for one cup of coffee... but I can gladly say it was the best cup of coffee I've ever had. And I've had a few in my life. What an experience, and we're so glad we made the trip. Can't wait to come back and try another with a different espresso blend. Magnificent.

This small coffee house is on a pedestrian-only street in Westminster. The coffee is fine, although I found my oat milk latte on the bitter side. It is rather noisy. I asked the woman taking orders to identify what was in each pastry, as I have an allergy. I had to ask several times. They give you your pastries, and then bring your coffee to you. The pastries were not particularly fresh, and just adequate. Definitely not a place to which I would return.

I did a deep dive into specialty coffee in London, and Nostos happened to be a 3 min walk from my hotel. They have bags of beans from their roasters and Dak coffee roasters for sale. Their menu has multiple single origin coffees to choose from for pour overs. I ordered the freeze distilled flat white, which uses thickened whole milk that tastes like whole cream (delicious) and a light roast Colombia pink bourbon coffee. The espresso was pulled on a slayer single group with a very specific recipe, which the barista happily talked me through while pulling the shot. The espresso smelled fantastic, and after adding the creamiest milk I’ve ever tasted to the espresso, you end up with a flat white that is bright, fruity, and super creamy and smooth. I absolutely loved it. I came back 5 hours later for a second cup of it! Great coffee. Friendly baristas. Over all and wonderful experience. Just know that the baristas during the morning rush are too busy to chit chat, but later in the afternoon when things are quiet they are happy to discuss coffee!

This is, without a doubt, the best coffee I have had in London to date. The guys really know their stuff, you can tell. They have a very impressive setup and they have a very efficient team. Place has all the types of coffee making gear that I WANT to see in a cafe, then I know that they are serious about it. When I saw the James Hoffman book on the shelf, I knew I was in good hands. Thanks for the amazing coffee guys, I will definitely be back.

If you love coffee, you have to visit Nostos. Hands down the best pour over coffee experience I’ve had. Brewed to perfection complete with drinking temperature advice and a run down of the tasting notes. Not to mention the atmosphere of the shop and super friendly baristas. Will be hard to top it that’s for sure

I visited Nostos late in the afternoon after exploring several coffee shops during the day, and this was by far the best experience I’ve had in London. I tried the Freeze Distilled Flat White – a dream for anyone who loves milk-based drinks. The lychee and rose notes were distinct, and the milk was perfectly silky. I also had the pleasure of chatting with the baristas, including Ed, the founder, whose passion and unique approach to coffee make this place a must-visit for any coffee lover. Can’t wait to come back!
