I believe that great customer service is crucial for any business to succeed. Unfortunately, my recent experience at this store fell short of my expectations. Despite it being my first time there, the cashier showed a complete lack of interest in assisting me when I asked for a specific bottle of wine. Instead of speaking or walking over to help me, she simply pointed in the direction of the wine aisle. Her demeanor was so dry and unwelcoming that it felt like she didn't care about her job or the customers. As a result, I have decided not to shop at this store again.

This shop was open early and they had my rum in stock. It was amazing!

We have shopped here for many years and love that it is black owned and run. They have a wide selection of wines and Liquors, the staff are friendly, patient and knowledgeable. During the pandemic we would order their delivery service which is so convenient, speedy and,without any exorbitant surcharges. The delivery person is again very friendly as well as courteous.

I have been using Nostrand Wines and Liquor for four years now. They are one of the best run businesses around. Their delivery is breathtakingly fast and all the staff are exceedingly helpful - Above and Beyond. And oh, did I mention their choices of wine and liquor is immense. Something for everyone's taste and pocketbook. They have Never let me down. I love these guys. 💕💕💕

Went in to get a bottle of wine and the people were super friendly and even mixing drinks to let customers try. I recently made a large delivery order and everything came right on time and again great service! Definitely making this my new neighborhood spot to get alcohol

Top notch Liquor store, there have every cognac,scotch,whiskey , Brandy , and Rum . I have been to many Liquors store in the Flatbush Section of Brooklyn a heavily West-Indian Neighborhood , and This liqueur store have every Rum from every West Indian island , so Much respect to this Bedford-Stuyvesant Liquor store , if I'm in this Area I'll definitely would come back here !!!!! P.S.: I wish I knew the President of France Emmanuel Macron so this place can get the "legion of honor" or King Charles to give this shop the " royal warrant" since this liquior store have rum from all the English and French West Indian islands colonies ! Nostrand Wines and Liquors is the truth! They're a neighborhood classic and honestly a bit pricey but worth it. Every type of bubbly, still-wine and hard liquor that you could ever imagine, is sold here. Recently, they've started selling those groovy canned wines and cocktails that are all the rage these days. I bought my first canned wine here today and I'm buzzing as I construct this review.

Decent option for my go-to wine shop. Prices and variety are also good. They offer cocktails in a bottle at the cashier in the wine section which seems to be a great idea for picnics in the park or BYOB. They do have tight quarters in the wine section but usually people are just in and out. Service has been consistently friendly. Would be nice if they spray down the bottles that people touch or require people to sanitize upon entering.

LS Cream $24.99 here & @ Liquid Assets(have to double check), $34 Bedvyne Wine & Liquor, $27 Happy Cork, all black owned Love the service here, how they label what items are black owned, order liquor that they didn't at first carry, example Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream and mention when you're buying a bottle if it comes as a gift set, I e the Amarula liquor, and now you're leaving with extra items for the same price. And lastly, wants to keep up to date with other brands that are black owned.

My go-to store for liquor and wine in the area. Solid wine selection, really great liquors (all of the basic liquors and liqueurs, in a variety of sizes), and even a good amount of canned cocktails and other more specialty-type items. There are also constant tastings without any pressure to buy - simply showing off lesser-known products in the store. Not to mention the staff are great, especially the owner, and the prices are very reasonable. Overall really great store and in a convenient location next to the Nostrand AC.

Dis is noooooice!!! At first I thought it was the typical, run of the mill locked up liquor store until I saw someone step through the second set of doors lol. I walked in and found the Kaiso cocktail that I had at the cocktail expo for $6 (it's a coconut water cocktail) and purchased what I believe to be a decently priced bottle of Effen black cherry vodka for $20. Some of the stuff is still locked behind the counter but a good majority is out in the open. I was told that it's Black owned. So for those looking to support Black business, here ya go. Seen a lot of variety and new spirits I'd like to try so I'm definitely coming back.

Great selection in a wide range of varietals and price points. I really appreciate that they know their local demographic and put a lot of thought into selecting the highest quality wines that are still affordable for this area. They also have a very well stocked liquor section that even includes a wonderful but obscure whiskey from my friend's distillery in Wyoming. Best part though is Edmon (the owner) who is a gem of a human. He's a total wine nerd and if you catch him there he will happily direct you to new bottles to expand your pallet. Other best part is that it's right by the Nostrand A/C so mama can pick up some juice on her way home from work.

It's unfortunate "all skin folk ain't kin folk" comes to mind upon entering and shortly exiting this shop. I was sent here to get the proper liquor for Trinidadian Black cake...you May not know but it's a big deal during the holidays. The wrong liquor could ruin months of work...the fruits have to be soaked in the liquor the longer the better. I walked in received a slight smile and waited, but quickly saw there was an additional area that also held liquor. The other women didn't acknowledge me at all went to the back rummaged through something and then came back out. She spoke to another patron and then sat behind a counter. I had to approach her to inquire about the type of liquor I needed she responded "it's out there" and pointed to the area I left the half smile girl at. I went back to that area and asked her about what I needed after waiting in line. The girl stated she didn't have it, then asked the other woman who was in the other area separated by glass. The liquor was quite literally right in front of the girl. The way she told me the price was annoying, because she recited it as if she had already known the price. How could you have known the price you didn't even know where it was or that you even had it? I ask for 3 more and then she grabs them. I have only my company card and ask her to run it as credit she tells me she can't. I offer her my I'd as well and she maintains she can't. The other woman now chimes in from across the store and the girl lies and stated that I won't give her my ID... annoyed I just leave. Cherry Brandy, please somebody anybody get this! I cannot go through such craziness for something so simple!

The cheapest prices I've found almost anywhere (at least since I tend to buy cheaper liquor) and the employees are all very sweet. This is my go-to liquor store.

A reliable wine store with a steady selection of wines, and other liquors, esp. by neighborhood standards. The people are also very nice.

Gorgeous re-design, the owner is very conscientious and thoughtful. Cares about every customer that walks through the door. Best selection within 2 miles. You will not be disappointed.

Stopped at this liquor/wine establishment while visiting a friend in the neighborhood. Let me tell you, not even god himself can get past that glass enclosure they've got. They have a standard selection of whiskies vodkas and tequila. If you're looking for something standard, you will have no trouble finding it here. If you are particular, searching for non-so-well known bottles of whatever... you probably won't find it here. It's not fancy, but quite straight forward. I do wish they had a better wine selection, they have several promotional wines with solid deals. Nothing special, but effective.

Wow, what an open and inviting new space. I was already used to the great service at the original location just 5 yards to the south. Along with the same great service are the same great prices and unique selections of hard to find Wines and Spirits you'll not find anywhere else, especially in this burgeoning neighborhood, which is holding on to its culture and origins while undergoing the Gentrification ever present in the rest of the City. The owner is often on site with a welcoming, helping hand, and anecdotes that bring to life the Wines and Spirits your getting.

The owners of International Wines and liquors, a quintessential hood liquor store with bullet proof glass and a terrible selection of wine, did the unthinkable: They moved one store front away. Don't worry, you still get to experience standing in a plexiglass hallway, but the sign out front is more tasteful than most stores in the area. The innovation doesn't stop there though, you can move through the bulletproof hallway and into the back, a newly renovated space that resembles a real wine store. I say resembles because the inventory is the exact same as any of the hood liquor stores on Nostrand. It's terrible, but looks better? The wine is all the same garbage you can't drink, same stuff they sold before at their old store, but the bottles were moved some 20 feet north. I imagine that after a certain hour the "wine store" area is locked and it goes back to being bulletproof glass ordering only. Such dexterity! You have to applaud their lack of ambition.
